This multiple-case study explored the experiences of five Indigenous out-of-school youth teenage parents from Brgy. Landan, Sitio Bukay-eel, Polomolok South Cotabato. According to the data, themes emerged from transcribed audio-recorded interviews through qualitative template analysis. The study revealed participants' views, feelings, and realizations towards their experiences. Themes included unrequited plans, distress, adaptive environment, and differences in perspectives. Common feelings included babysitting difficulties, contraceptive awareness, and contentment. However, some participants had critically minded thinking, became regretful, hopeful, emotionally overwhelmed, role transition, and felt ashamed and disappointed. Realizations involved personal growth, prioritizing education, determined matrimony, dealing with maternal challenges, and dreaming continuously. We examined how contentment, tranquility, and cheerfulness might be differentially associated with different types of motivation achievements (i.e. psychological need satisfaction and personal striving progress). Participants (n = 177) listed five personal strivings expected to be relevant the following week. Participants then provided daily reports for seven days of: (a) contentment, tranquility, and cheerfulness; (b) satisfaction with psychological needs (affiliation, competence, autonomy, predictability); and (c) personal striving progress. As expected, contentment was more strongly associated with competence satisfaction and striving progress than were tranquility and cheerfulness. As expected, tranquility was less strongly associated with striving progress and affiliation satisfaction than were contentment and cheerfulness. However, contrary to predictions, tranquility was not less strongly associated with the satisfaction of autonomy and predictability than were contentment and cheerfulness. As expected, cheerfulness was more strongly associated with affiliation satisfaction than were contentment and tranquility. Potential explanations for these patterns are discussed. Objectives: Past research has been inconclusive regarding the specificity of associations between discrete pleasurable emotions and internalizing symptoms. Contentment may be especially relevant to depression, whereas tranquillity may be especially relevant to worry. The goal of the current research was to clarify the mixed findings regarding the relation between pleasure deficits and internalizing psychopathology. Methods: Participants from three samples (Total N = 757) completed alternative measures of depression and pleasurable emotions. Participants in Study 1 also completed a measure of anticipatory and consummatory pleasure, and close peers to a subset of participants (N = 64) reported their perceptions of participants' depression severity. Participants in Studies 2 and 3 also completed a measure of worry. Results: Across the three samples, contentment was significantly negatively associated with self‐reported depression. This association could not be accounted for by tranquillity, cheerfulness, anticipatory pleasure, or consummatory pleasure. Contentment was also strongly negatively associated with peer‐reported depression. Contentment was more strongly associated with depression than was cheerfulness. However, the strength of the association between contentment and depression relative to the strength of the association between tranquillity and depression depended on how contentment and depression were measured. Conversely, tranquillity was more strongly associated with worry than were contentment or cheerfulness. Conclusions: This study provides further evidence of the potential importance of the role of contentment in depression and tranquillity in worry. Images are capable of conveying emotions, but emotional experience is highly subjective. Advances in artificial intelligence have enabled the generation of images based on emotional descriptions. However, the level of agreement between the generative images and human emotional responses has not yet been evaluated. In order to address this, 20 artistic landscapes were generated using StyleGAN2-ADA. Four variants evoking positive emotions (contentment and amusement) and negative emotions (fear and sadness) were created for each image, resulting in 80 pictures. An online questionnaire was designed using this material, in which 61 observers classified the generated images. Statistical analyses were performed on the collected data to determine the level of agreement among participants between the observers' responses and the generated emotions by AI. Good, satisfying, sleep is a key indicator and determinant of health and wellness. However, there is no consensus about how to define and measure good sleep. The present research aimed to define sleep satisfaction through the extant literature and disentangle it from sleep quality, a conceptually similar construct. Systematic review methods were adapted for a rapid review approach. The entire review was completed in eight weeks. Tabulation coding with content analysis was used to identify key categories and synthesize findings. A systematic process for generating construct definitions was followed. Database search yielded 51 eligible studies (N > 218,788), representing diverse adult populations, in 20 countries. Designs varied in rigour. Sleep satisfaction was defined as a personal, introspective, and global judgment about one's feelings of contentment with one's sleep, at a particular point in time. Sleep satisfaction was understood as an indicator of general health, impacted by and varied as a function of one's sleep environment and individual-level characteristics. This rapid review contributes to the literature by providing the first systematically generated definition of sleep satisfaction, with strong implications for measurement, research, and practice. The goals of medicine tend to be framed around addressing suffering, pathology, and functional deficits. While this is a natural orientation when dealing with serious illness, it is also incomplete and neglects significant opportunities to improve the quality of life of patients, families, and clinicians. The "total enjoyment of life" is a multidimensional framework that can serve as a positive counterbalance to the "total pain of illness." It allows clinicians, researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders to take a systematic and comprehensive approach to the active promotion of well-being. The five opportunities for enhancing well-being in this framework are meaning, social connections, happiness/contentment, spiritual transcendence, and pleasure. Applying these concepts in clinical settings, patients, families, and clinicians can together find opportunities to increase the total enjoyment of life in the face of incurable and intractable illnesses. For family care partners, these concepts can be applied to improve self-care, enhance relationships, and develop more creative approaches to supporting a loved one living with illness. Clinicians working with these concepts may find their clinical work more satisfying and impactful and can also apply these concepts to their own lives to increase wellness. In clinical research, this framework can be applied to improve intervention effectiveness and relevance of outcome measures. This current research has focused on the relationship between overeducation and happiness in educational postgraduate masters and doctoral graduates. The aim of the research is to define this relationship positively and negatively. To achieve this, the two researchers used a descriptive approach. The research sample consisted of (264) master's and PhD degrees in educational sciences. After obtaining the sample views, the data were processed statistically using arithmetical mean and standard deviation and the statements of resolution were then arranged according to the arithmetic mean. The research yielded several results, the most important of which was that the views of the sample varied according to three choices (large, medium and small). Based on the foregoing findings. The research recommends the following: Conducting similar research applied to large samples of various pedagogical disciplines. More material support for postgraduate students (while in school) and incentives for them, as the cost of schooling is not commensurate with the return, which is a hindrance to enrollment in postgraduate studies. Work to increase the financial return from obtaining a degree in proportion to the expenditure on if. To invest the impaired potential of educational graduate students, especially those with a degree, who did not have career opportunities commensurate with their degree. In this paper, we approach urban belonging as place-based affect to understand how it emerges and evolves in qualitatively different ways through everyday interactions with the city. Moving beyond a narrowly defined and fixed notion of urban belonging as feeling at home in place, we examine diverging feelings about Amsterdam during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic. Confronted with the abrupt reconfiguration of everyday life, some residents felt a strong sense of contentment in relation to place, while others developed more ambivalent feelings. These ranged from anxious detachment, to disenchantment and even alienation and rejection, raising existential questions about their place in the city that reach beyond the pandemic. We demonstrate how these affective inequalities are grounded in everyday practices and evolve through social and material encounters in domestic and public space. Background: Well-being has become a key outcome of health and support services for adults with visual impairment (V.I.). However, there is a lack of consensus on how well-being is conceptualized and assessed in V.I. research, if it is defined at all. A shared understanding of what well-being means in the context of adult V.I. is essential to enable comparison of findings across studies and collaboration between support organizations. Methods: This article reports findings from a series of four online focus groups with adults with V.I. and one with practitioners working in the field of adult V.I. The focus groups explored what participants meant by well-being and which factors impacted their well-being. A total of 17 adults with V.I. and five practitioners took part. A list of all components of well-being, factors that impact well-being, and items in the protective buffer that may mitigate the impact of factors on wellbeing were extracted from the data. Results: Despite the noted difficulty in defining well-being and disagreement around the extent to which well-being was universal or individual, a preliminary model of well-being emerged from the focus group discussions. The core of well-being reflects an overall feeling of contentment arising from a positive evaluation of how one is feeling, how one is feeling within oneself, and how one is feeling about one's life. Factors relating to balance/equilibrium, health, mood, other people, the self, and a sense of security and purpose can positively or negatively impact well-being. This impact may be mitigated by a protective buffer consisting of one's mood, mindset, ability to cope, resilience, and acceptance. Many items were discussed in multiple roles, e.g., as a component of well-being or factor. Conclusion: This research took a bottom-up approach to explore what wellbeing means in the context of adult V.I. In this article, we analysed the emotions expressed in response to COVID-19 vaccines on Kwai, a Chinese social-media platform launched in Brazil in 2019. Our corpus comprised 355 videos published between 2020 and 2022 and collected through a Python script. The emotions were identified and classified based on the emotion descriptors of the Human–Machine Interaction Network on Emotion for Emotion Annotation and Representation Language; an analysis of the levels of emotional valence and arousal was based on the core affect model. Considering the diversity of video content, we classified the posts according to their approach in order to identify those that expressed emotion, based on their predominant characteristic (personal, informative, infotainment, humorous or advertising). As a result, we observed that just over half of the emotions expressed in relation to the total set of data were positive. This positive attitude was emphasized when the vaccines were taken as the main topic mobilizing emotions. Expressions of contentment and trust stood out, especially among posts with a personal approach and advertising content. Among the negative emotions, disapproval and doubt stood out, mobilized by topics in relation to the vaccines and other contextual elements, especially in videos with a humorous, informative or infotainment approach. Port operations play a crucial role in fostering social and economic progress. The effectiveness and reliability of port services wield considerable influence over customer preferences. Nonetheless, additional scholarly exploration is warranted to grasp the correlation between port service quality and customer contentment. With this objective in mind, this research endeavors to scrutinize the influence of service quality at Mersin Port on customer satisfaction. A survey encompassing 215 Mersin Port users was administered as part of the study. In the study, the ROPMIS model served as the tool to evaluate port service quality. This framework comprises resources, outcomes, processes, management, reputation, and social accountability. The amassed data underwent scrutiny via the statistical tool Smart-PLS 4.1.0. The findings divulge that reputation, social accountability, and management notably impact customer satisfaction with port service quality. Scholars and policymakers are increasingly interested in subjective well-being as a development indicator. However, sociological research on this topic is quite limited, as is research that considers the effects of the biophysical environment on subjective well-being. In this study, we address these gaps in the literature by examining social and environmental influences on life satisfaction, a core component of subjective well-being. We employed multi-level regression analysis using data from over 97,000 individuals living across ninety-six countries. The results demonstrated significant effects of several individual-level variables on life satisfaction, in particular respondents' satisfaction with their local air and water quality and the efforts being made to preserve the environment in their country, as well as numerous social variables, such as income, gender, and employment status. Among the country-level variables, national gross domestic product per capita was positively associated with higher individual life satisfaction. Income inequality had a negative effect on life satisfaction, while wealth inequality, on the other hand, had a positive effect, a surprising finding we contemplate in some detail. The carbon intensity of a nation's economy as well as the proportion of a nation's land in protected areas only influenced life satisfaction when not controlling for the other variables. We conclude by discussing the implications of this research for sustainable development, including the promise of life satisfaction and other measures of subjective well-being as sustainable development indicators. Within scholarship on Islamic ethics, writings on consolation (taʿāzī) are a largely neglected genre. This article is a start on making good this scarcity in the secondary literature. It studies Zayn al-Dīn al-ʿĀmilī's (d. 965/1558) Musakkin al-fuʾād , a treatise on the grief over the loss of a child and consolations for it. Al-ʿĀmilī's contribution to the genre presents a Shiʿi view, inflected by a Muʿtazilī understanding of divine justice and theodicy. According to this view, divine recompense (ʿiwaḍ) is offered to the bereaved on the condition of patient resignation with appreciation of the loss in relation to the ordeal and death suffered by the fourteen 'Infallibles' (al-maʿṣūmīn). Al-ʿĀmilī's disparaging outlook on the world (al-dunyā) encourages abandonment of its material attachments through ideal modes of patience (al-ṣabr) and contentment (al-riḍāʾ). Musakkin al-fuʾād imagines a system of reward and loss, calibrated to the lessons of sacred texts. I examine al-ʿĀmilī's use of these sources, including prophetic narratives, parables, and traditions (aḥādīth), to explore their implications for an idealized expression of Muslim mourning. Objective: This scholarly inquiry endeavors to scrutinize the notion of autonomy as articulated in the teachings of Hazrat Ali (AS) with the aim of deriving educational implications that could enhance individual health and substantiate its significance. Methods: The methodological framework employed was a mixed-method design, executed in two qualitative phases involving content analysis through a comparative categorization system, followed by a quantitative phase wherein validation was conducted utilizing Lawshe's agreement coefficient. The scope of the present study within the qualitative dimension encompassed all textual materials pertinent to the teachings of Hazrat Ali (AS) regarding autonomy, approached in a purposive manner, while the quantitative dimension involved 11 university professors and experts. Results: The outcomes of the content analysis pertaining to the examination of the concept of autonomy in the teachings of Hazrat Ali (AS) yielded 47 conceptual codes through a selective coding mechanism, categorized into 8 thematic axes: freedom and self-esteem, responsibility and accountability, contentment, supervision and control, time management, individual differences, courage, and criticality, all of which have implications for individual health, the most prominent of which include: the necessity of reinstating self-esteem and human value, the principle of dynamism and flexibility, self-belief and self-evaluation, the significance of health and vitality, the importance of character and integrity, and the imperative to restore self-confidence alongside recognizing the mental and physical disparities inherent in humans. Conclusions: The findings collectively endorse the educational implications of autonomy and possess the potential to benefit educators in fostering the development of students' personalities. This research seeks to obtain a scale for measuring contentment and with its help measure the amount of attention to this virtue among young people. For this purpose, the epistemic dimensions and components of the concept of contentment were examined from the perspective of Sahifah Sajjadiyeh, and the components obtained from this study were used to design, build and validate the contentment scale in the form of a questionnaire with nineteen questions. Then, the amount of young people's attention to the moral virtue of contentment was measured with this questionnaire. The statistical population in this research is undergraduate students, the field of educational sciences of Boali Sina University, Hamedan, with a total of 266 people, entering 1402-1399, which was measured through the Morgan table sampling method, with a sample size of 155. The analysis of the findings shows that the responses can be checked at three levels (high, medium and low satisfaction levels). According to the one-sample t-test, the average level of satisfaction (2.89), and the significance level (0.003) is lower than the value of the test (3), so it can be concluded that the level of satisfaction from the students' point of view is lower than average.

National Innovations on Climate Resilient Agriculture (NICRA) is a flagship project of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) to mitigate climate change in vulnerable districts of India. The present study assessed farmers’ satisfaction with climate-resilient agricultural technologies following their adoption in two vulnerable districts of Telangana, India, identified under the NICRA project. Results showed that most farmers in the Suryapet and Khammam (62.67% and 90.00%) districts of Telangana state expressed high satisfaction with these technologies. Additionally, a significant proportion had a highly favourable perception of the technology promoters (71.33% and 82.00%), high perceived expectations (52.67% and 74.00%), high perceived quality (58.00% and 86.00%), and a high perceived value (68.00% and 84.00%) associated with climateresilient agricultural technologies. Importantly, the vast majority of the farmers in both districts expressed their intent to use these technologies when the need arises. Path analysis revealed that variables like perceived image, perceived expectation, perceived quality and perceived value had a significant direct impact on satisfaction, while there was no indirect effect on behavioural intention. Communication partner support, the complexity of the communication environment, and the thoughts and feelings of people with aphasia have important implications for both language processing and communicative participation. The perspectives of PWA about the role that environmental and personal factors (e.g. thoughts and feelings) play in their communication experiences could inform clinical practice.To qualitatively explore the communication experiences of people with aphasia and how environmental demands and personal factors (especially emotional responses) affect these experiences.Fourteen participants with aphasia completed semi-structured interviews immediately following testing sessions for a larger mixed-methods project investigating the relationship between mood, attention, and language function. Interview questions related to their everyday communication experiences and how their communication environment affected their communication and concentration as well as how their emotions affected their communication. Interviews were recorded, transcribed orthographically, then analyzed using a generic qualitative descriptive approach. Coding was completed in two rounds, which included inductive and deductive coding. Codes were synthesized by reflexively analyzing code co-occurrence.Key antecedent variables included language deficits associated with aphasia and environmental demands, often leading to communication challenges. Participation was highlighted as the principal outcome, ranging from proactive engagement to withdrawal. Mental rehearsal, feelings, and attitudes mediated participation, but feelings and attitudes were also described as outcomes. Communication partners played a pivotal mediating role, often determining positive or negative outcomes. Supportive partners facilitated engagement, optimism, and contentment, while unsupportive partners led to frustration.The results of this study highlight the role of various factors in influencing the communication experience of people with aphasia and indicate that, within the context of communication challenges, communication partners, attitudes, feelings, and participation play critical and interacting roles. Preparatory strategies such as mental rehearsal can also facilitate participation. These findings imply that targeting communication partner support, mental rehearsal focused on social scripts, or psychosocial adjustment could have important effects on participation. In recent years, assumptions about the existence of a single construct of happiness that accounts for all positive emotions have been questioned. Instead, several discrete positive emotions with their own neurobiological and psychological mechanisms have been proposed. Of note, the effects of positive emotions on language processing are not yet properly understood. Here we provide a database for a large set of 9000 Spanish words scored by 3437 participants in the positive emotions of awe, contentment, amusement, excitement, serenity, relief, and pleasure. We also report significant correlations between discrete positive emotions and several affective (e.g., valence, arousal, happiness, negative discrete emotions) and lexico-semantic (e.g., frequency of use, familiarity, concreteness, age of acquisition) characteristics of words. Finally, we analyze differences between words conveying a single emotion ("pure" emotion words) and those denoting more than one emotion ("mixed" emotion words). This study will provide researchers a rich source of information to do research that contributes to expanding the current knowledge on the role of positive emotions in language. Every bank aims to build long-lasting relationships with its customers in today's cutthroat market in order to increase sales, encourage loyalty, strengthen resistance against negative brand views, and lessen pricing sensitivity. Revenue generating is the primary objective of any firm, and it could potentially attained through client happiness and perceptions. Happy consumers are more likely to use electronic banking services again and recommend others to them, which increases earnings and profitability. Like any other organization, banks must be wealthy to stay in business. Achieving fiscal goals is made easier by the belief that customer contentment and perception are essential for client retention and devotion. Banks are giving customers conventional and internetbased banking alternatives as part of the gradual broadening of their service offerings. Traditional branch-based banking is made better by online banking. This study's main goal was to seek out how clients felt about the electronic banking services that specific banks offered and exactly how pleased they were with them. 110 respondents' satisfaction levels with the implementation of technology-enabled banking self-services were determined using a survey proximity. The level of customer contentment with e-banking services was measured using ranking algorithms. Purpose: This study aims to examine the connection between biophilic workplace design and its effect on Gen Z employees' mental well-being and job contentment. The aim is to provide insights for the top management to acknowledge and implement biophilic workplaces to create a more productive and fulfilling work environment. Design/methodology/approach: The research study is supported by a literature review of 45 peer-reviewed papers. The research involved a comprehensive review of databases such as Scopus, EBSCO, Elsevier, Jstor and Google Scholar using relevant keywords and Boolean operators. The inclusion criteria for the study are limited to articles published between 2013 and 2024. The review results provide insights into the current state of research on biophilic office spaces and their impact on Gen Z employees' mental well-being and productivity. Findings: The findings of this study reveal how biophilic office design positively impacts the mental well-being and job contentment of Gen Z employees, leading to increased productivity. It demonstrates that being around elements of nature at work can reduce stress and enhance cognitive function, leading to increased job contentment. Originality/value: Few studies have been done on the impact of biophilic-designed offices on Gen Z employees, a cohort increasingly becoming the dominant workforce. The article first explains the meaning of opinion; The semantic framework of this concept is tried to be drawn by examining the relationship of contentment with Sufism terms such as faith, obedience, consent, patience, poverty, istiğna, gratitude, trust, solitude, asceticism. After giving information about the place of opinion in religion, Sufism and our culture, the main metaphors related to opinion created in classical Turkish literature are briefly explained. Contemporary existence diverges from the harmonious coexistence encapsulated by "oikos," straining against our genuine well-being aspirations. The marketplace, a stage where cultural aspirations and material desires converge, often creates illusory contentment, and perpetuates unsustainable cycles. Liberation from this intricate consumption web is daunting, given an economic paradigm that drifts from ecological balance. The home, symbolizing solace, finds itself entangled in material unsustainability, perpetually absorbing, producing, and consuming. Within this complex interplay, designers emerge as change agents, reshaping home design with a commitment to sustainability. Drawing parallels with Walter Benjamin's "Arcades Project," this article delves into history to underscore design's role in urban evolution and societal shifts by examining the power of interiority. Introduction: Current research on Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) assumes that ASMR is always accompanied by contentment, and it is distinct from frisson due to positive emotions. Thus, research investigations tend to limit their scope to solely focusing on the sensation of relaxation that ASMR induces. This study explores whether it is possible to have a different emotional experience and still perceive ASMR, testing the theory of ASMR as an amplifier of pre-existing emotion instead of a determination of positive affect. Methods: The emotional arousal and valence, and mood changes of 180 ASMRcapable and incapable individuals were analysed using questionnaires after altering the affective interpretation associated with auditory ASMR (tapping) with visual priming to examine whether the primed emotion (fearful, relaxing, or neutral) could be amplified. Results: It was found that an ASMR response occurred in all priming conditions, including the fear priming group. No significant difference was found in the emotional outcome or mood of the neutral and relaxing priming groups. Upon comparison with ASMR-incapable individuals, both the relaxing and neutral priming groups demonstrated the same affect, but greater potent for ASMRcapable. Individuals who appraised ASMR after visual fear priming demonstrated a significant decrease in positive emotional valence and increased arousal. Conclusion: The findings suggest that ASMR occurs in both positive and negative emotional situations, suppressing contentment induction if ASMR stimuli are interpreted negatively and amplifying contentment when interpreted positively. While more research is needed, the results highlight that ASMR and frisson might describe the same phenomenon, both a physically felt signature of emotion. Therapeutic usage of ASMR should carefully select appropriate stimuli that emphasise contentment to avoid potential health risks associated with negative emotions until a further understanding of ASMR's affective parameters has been established. This essay reflects on Charles Dickens's Great Expectations and what it has meant, and continues to mean, to me as a reader and scholar of Dickens. Beginning from the observation that students seem invariably to detest Pip, the essay explains how reading the novel hermeneutically, as a lesson for my own life, has helped me to ruminate the complex feelings of shame that I have long felt regarding my own working-class childhood, and my own Estella. Contentment is an emotion felt when the present situation is perceived to be complete as it is. Six studies are presented showing the difference between contentment and other positive emotions, documenting contentment’s unique relationship with self-acceptance, and exploring the positive associations between contentment and wellbeing. First, we demonstrated that contentment is perceived as different from happiness and other positive emotions using an emotion concept mapping methodology (Study 1), a dimensional analysis (Study 2), and a free-response narrative analysis (Study 3). We then demonstrated that both trait (Study 4 and 5) and state levels (Study 6) of contentment are associated with a sense of self-acceptance, and further related to increased wellbeing. This paper aims to endeavor to develop a holistic Post Occupancy Evaluation (POE) framework, amalgamating the utilization of building facilities and Building Performance Attributes (BPA) for appraising the performance of Construction and Design Firms (CDFs) alongside building performance indicators such as occupant satisfaction within residential apartment complexes. The study adopts a tripartite research methodology encompassing theoretical exploration, on-site investigations, and analytical examinations. The theoretical component entails an extensive literature survey to integrate 15 identified BPAs seamlessly. Field inquiries involve rating building performance and gauging occupant contentment. The subsequent analytical phase establishes correlations between building performance metrics and occupant satisfaction levels. This systematic approach synergizes user insights with building services, promising a rigorous and systematic building analysis. The outcomes underscore a robust correlation linking building performance attributes to occupant satisfaction, thus affirming the pivotal role of POE as an indispensable tool for appraising building performance. The analysis reveals ten highly correlated parameters, indicating a substantial 67% connection between the Building Performance Rating (BPR) and the Occupant Satisfaction Score (OSS). These influential parameters guide improvements and updates through Post-Occupancy Evaluations (POE). This process is a valuable learning tool for enhancing future organizational projects and improving building performance. The findings emphasize the pertinence of the criteria employed in evaluating building performance, which is relevant for assessing occupant contentment and CDF’s effectiveness. Comparing the previous research, this research posits the potential for widespread adoption of POE in augmenting CDFs' performance and lays the groundwork for expanding its utilization. This paper aims to study the role of deviation from a balanced time perspective in the broader context of COVID-19-related variables. We examined a structural model that depicted how the difficulty with adhering to COVID-19 restrictions and their psycho-socio-economic consequences were related to life satisfaction in a sample of 1,423 participants. The results suggest that the difficulty with adhering to the anti-pandemic measures was associated with increased loneliness, decreased contentment with the authorities' management of the pandemic situation and a worsened personal economic situation. These factors were related to higher levels of COVID-19-related stress and anxiety and lower levels of life satisfaction. A better understanding of the researcher's attitude starts with knowing their satisfaction level, which helps the agricultural universities understand research graduates and make necessary improvement plans. Absence of such a specific scale, forced to draft present piece in 2022 focusing on developing the Research Satisfaction Scale using the scale product method. Initially, 63 items were pooled, scrutinized, and reduced to 57 based on the rules of Edward and Kilpatrick and segregated into three groups as: 'Before, while performing, and after performing research.' Scale and Quartile values were calculated, and the statements with an S-value less than the Q-value were eliminated, bringing the number of statements to 53. For validation - Content Validity Index (CVI), both item and scale were used and Cronbach's alpha for measuring reliability. The score of Item-CVI <0.70 were eliminated, making the total number of statements 36. The Scale - CVI was 0.92, with an internal consistency value of 0.792, making the developed scale with 36 items valid and reliable. Patient satisfaction with hospital services has been increasingly discussed as an important indicator of healthcare quality. It has been demonstrated that improving patient satisfaction is associated with better compliance with treatment plans and a decrease in patient complaints regarding doctors' and nurses' misconduct. This scoping review's objective is to investigate the pertinent literature on the experiences and satisfaction of patients with mental disorders receiving inpatient psychiatric care. Our goals are to highlight important ideas and explore the data that might serve as a guide to enhance the standard of treatment and patient satisfaction in acute mental health environments. This study is a scoping review that was designed in adherence with the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses Extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) statement. A systematic search was conducted in the following databases: PubMed, MEDLINE, PsycINFO, CINAHL, and EMBASE. A comprehensive review was completed, including articles from January 2012 to June 2022. Qualitative and quantitative studies were included in this review based on our eligibility criteria, such as patient satisfaction as a primary outcome, adult psychiatric inpatients, and non-review studies published in the English language. Studies were considered ineligible if they included nonpsychiatric patients or patients with neurocognitive disorders, review studies, or study measure outcomes other than inpatient satisfaction. For the eligible studies, data extraction was conducted, information was summarized, and the findings were reported. A total of 31 studies representing almost all the world's continents were eligible for inclusion in this scoping review. Different assessment tools and instruments were used in the included studies to measure the level of patients' satisfaction. The majority of the studies either utilized a pre-existing or newly created inpatient satisfaction questionnaire that appeared to be reliable and of acceptable quality. This review has identified a variety of possible factors that affect patients' satisfaction and can be used as a guide for service improvement. More than half of the included studies revealed that the following factors were strongly recommended to enhance inpatient satisfaction with care: a clear discharge plan, less coercive treatment during the hospital stay, more individualized, higher quality information and teaching about the mental disorder to patients by staff, better therapeutic relationships with staff, and specific treatment components that patients enjoy, such as physical exercise sessions and music therapy. Patients also value staff who spend more time with them. The scope of patient satisfaction with inpatient mental health services is a growing source of concern. Patient satisfaction is associated with better adherence to treatment regimens and fewer complaints against health care professionals. This scoping review has identified several patient satisfaction research gaps as well as important determinants of satisfaction and how to measure and utilize patient satisfaction as a guide for service quality improvement. It would be useful for future research and reviews to consider broadening their scope to include the satisfaction of psychiatric patients with innovative services, like peer support groups and other technologically based interventions like text for support. This essay focuses on two satirical works of the early 1960s: Muriel Spark's The Ballad of Peckham Rye (1960) and Christine Brooke-Rose's The Middlemen (1961), both of which are set in and around synthetic textile firms. In these novels, synthetic textiles function in analogic relation to the synthetic emotions that were coming to inform the modern workplace. More specifically, the novels document the emerging importance of inner feeling within professional frameworks and contexts. The main character of Spark's The Ballad of Peckham Rye is in the process of conducting 'human research' within his working-class district while Brooke-Rose stages an encounter between psychology and public relations through documenting the psychotherapeutic experiences of her corporate middlemen. Both writers send up new office and corporate jargon that drew on psychological discourse in an attempt to fuse, as Nikolas Rose notes, the values of 'democracy, productivity and contentment' (Governing the Soul: The Shaping of the Private Self, 1999). Together, the novels offer illuminating perspectives on the complex politics of emotional expertise that was beginning to seep into cultures of governance and work in the post-war period. Islam is an all-encompassing religion that encompasses each and every facet which is associated with human existence. Islam is not a religion that is just concerned with the private life of people; rather, it encompasses and directs the activities and interactions that humans engage in throughout the course of their everyday lives. In spite of the fact that Islamic teachings are extraordinarily extensive, there have only been a few studies that have been carried out to investigate Islamic management ideas about the fundamentals of management in Islam. An effort is being made in this research to convey the essential principles of Islamic management, which are tawhid, justice, and contentment. These principles serve as the foundation upon which the functions of management are taught. The research also shows the holistic approach of Islamic management theory, which takes into consideration the whole of the system, including its people, culture, and structure, from the point of view of Islamic management principles. A seafarer's personality is based on three distinct stages in the psychological development of his/her marine self-concept, including self-esteem, i.e., before his/her maritime studies, during maritime studies, and at the time of professional practice on board. In order to be able to work safely on board, a seafarer should be a leader with the necessary marine self-concept, the formation of which is a didactic mission of the MET institutions. The psychological internalization of the marine self-concept of future seafarers, as a value, is analyzed in the pilot study on a cognitive, emotional, and behavioral level with regard to the stages mentioned. Before studying seafaring young people perceive the sea in the direction of recreation and spiritual knowledge. The self-esteem of those who do not raise questions of self-knowledge is not strong. During their studies, maritime students seek professional meaning for themselves in respect of the sea. Their academic feelings are positive, their activities are more mature, and their self-esteem improves. The marine self-concept of the future seafarers during their professional practice on board is dynamic, as they get to know themselves and their suitability for work, try out things and achieve their own professional goals. The "Scaffolding Digital Storytelling" training program has undergone a comprehensive evaluation using a rigorous mixed-methods methodology, which includes both quantitative and qualitative assessments. The program demonstrated significant effectiveness in improving participants' comprehension and abilities in digital storytelling and scaffolding. An analysis of assessments conducted before and after training, with the use of statistical tests, revealed a noteworthy enhancement in knowledge and abilities within the experimental group. This underscores the success of the program. The qualitative findings provided more clarity on the participants' experiences, highlighting their active involvement, contentment, and effective incorporation of digital storytelling into their teaching methods. The program's favorable impact on pedagogical techniques was evidenced through observations, surveys, and analysis of lesson plans. The program's revolutionary power was further validated by notable success stories, such as those of HM, LF, and EB, which demonstrated its adaptability across different degrees of technological expertise. The use of digital storytelling in educational settings, as demonstrated by teachers like Sarah Thompson, RM, PK, and BS, highlights the long-lasting beneficial impacts on student involvement, linguistic aptitude, and analytical thinking abilities. Crucially, the program went beyond just one intervention and encouraged educators to continuously improve and adapt. In conclusion, the "Scaffolding Digital Storytelling" training program proves to be a powerful force for promoting positive transformation in both the skills of the participants and the methods of instruction. The significant influence it has on gaining knowledge, effectively incorporating it into teaching methods, and consistently improving student outcomes make it a powerful resource for enhancing language training using digital storytelling and scaffolding strategies. The article is a review of the book "Restitching Identities in Rural Sri Lanka: Gender, Neoliberalism, and the Politics of Contentment" by Sandya Hewamanne. The book explores the experiences of female workers in Free Trade Zones (FTZs) in Sri Lanka and their transition back to rural life. The author conducted extensive research and developed long-term friendships with the women she studied. Contentment is a positive emotion characterized by perceived goal attainment, a sense of having or being enough, and a focus on the present. Research on this new construct is thin, and no studies have examined its cognitive properties, particularly whether it facilitates or impairs controlled cognitive processes. We hypothesize that contentment positively predicts working memory. We found support for this hypothesis in two experimental studies (Studies 1 and 2) which showed that induced contentment improved working memory in the operation span task, and in one non-experimental study (Study 3) which showed that measured contentment positively correlated with working memory on the backward digit span task. In addition, induced amusement (Study 1) and hope (Study 2) did not affect working memory, and measured happiness did not correlate with working memory (Study 3), supporting the uniqueness of contentment as a predictor of greater working memory. We discuss the implications that the combined characteristics of contentment, including perceptions of goal attainment and being low in arousal and approach, and its associations with relevant constructs of negative affectivity and mindfulness, could enable it to be uniquely predictive of better working memory. Parental vaccine hesitancy—delays in vaccine uptake for children—is a significant public health concern. Using an online adult sample of U.S. parents (N = 183), the current research experimentally examined how exposure to cautious or risky social comparison models on social media (in terms of their COVID‐19 beliefs and behaviors) influenced parental intentions to vaccinate their children against COVID‐19 in the early stages of the pandemic. Additionally, we examined whether the influence of social comparison models was moderated by emotional state (fear or contentment) and parental vaccination status. Overall, we found that parents exposed to cautious (vs. risky) comparison models and vaccinated (vs. unvaccinated) parents reported greater vaccine intentions for their children. We further found that vaccination intentions were highest among unvaccinated parents after exposure to cautious (vs. risky) comparison models, whereas intentions were highest among vaccinated parents after exposure to risky (vs. cautious) comparison models (but only when induced to feel content). Overall, our findings highlight the importance of understanding the additive and interactive impact of psychological and situational factors in shaping parental vaccine hesitancy.
