Evaluation of the natural conditions of the territories, usually involves a number of theoretical models which take into account different variables suitable for the study; In our case, the Namibe province (including the major city), a step structure model was selected to fit the available variables. The model reflect the necessary steps to follow for the creation of a Environmental Geography Information System (EGIS) in arid regions where graphic and alphanumeric data is sparse. The adopted model guarantees the evaluation of environmental geologist conditions of Namibe province, and integrates economic natural and technological variables of the environmental, It's structure expresses steps the evaluation process by taking first the critical information needed for implementation of EGIS and finally a series of derivate and integration action of variables and defined the cartographic results expected in each step.
