The Central American Dermatologic Society, which meets every two years in alternate capitals of Central American countries, held its Seventh Congress in Guatemala City from December 13-17, 1969. The congress was attended not only by local dermatologists but also by many of their colleagues from neighboring countries. A one-day clinical and therapeutic review, given by invited guests, preceded the congress. Leprosy, one of the serious problems of the region, was the subject of several interesting papers.
