Abstract

Kalman filtering is used to filter GNSS mining subsidence monitoring data in order to solve the problems of long period and high frequency GNSS mining subsidence monitoring data that are greatly affected by the external environment, high data interference noise and low data reliability. Firstly, the regression analysis method is adopted to automatically divide the monitoring data into three parts: the initial stage, the active stage and the decline stage. The subsidence in the initial stage and the decline stage is relatively stable, and the subsidence data is filtered by the standard Kalman filtering model. The add correction kalman filter model was constructed to deal with the data in the active stage of rapid subsidence change. The filter program was established by Python language, and the monitoring data of five-year and hourly interval sampling rate in a mining area in Ningxia were calculated and analyzed. The results showed that the process curve of different kalman filtering results in different stages was consistent with the measured results, and the filtering effect was good. The add correction kalman filter model can effectively process the monitoring data of mining area with large subsidence variation. The method constructed in this paper can effectively reduce the impact of data fluctuation on the subsidence result and improve the reliability of monitoring data. The research results provide a scientific basis for long-term and high-frequency settlement monitoring data processing.

Abstract

A series of 1,1'-spirobiindane-7,7'-diol (SPINOL) analogues bearing a 2,2'-dimethyl-, cyclopentyl-, or cyclohexyl-fused ring were synthesized, and their distinct structural features were elucidated by X-ray crystallography. On the basis of these scaffolds, chiral monophosphoramidite ligands 6 a-m were synthesized, which demonstrated excellent enantioselectivity in RhI -catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of a dehydro amino acid methyl ester. Ligands 6 a-m were also successfully applied in the RhI -catalyzed enantioselective [4+2] cycloaddition of α,β-unsaturated imines with isocyanates, which afforded the corresponding pyrimidinones in good yields (60-92 %) with high enantioselectivities (75-92 % ee).

Abstract

•We imaged shear shock waves (SSWs) in skeletal muscles in vivo with an ultrafast ultrasound imaging system.•We developed a finite element model relying on a physically motivated constitutive law to reveal the effect of the muscle states on the features of SSWs.•Both experimental and finite element results show that a low level of activation may facilitate the occurrence of both second and third harmonic, whereas a high level of activation would inhibit the third harmonic.•The method and results may find applications, such as in elucidating the unique dynamic deformation mechanism of living skeletal muscles, quantitative characterization of diverse shock wave-based therapy instruments, and guiding the design of muscle-mimicking soft materials.

Abstract

1,1′-Spirobiindane has been one type of privileged skeleton for chiral ligand design, and 1,1′-spirobiindane-based chiral ligands have demonstrated outstanding performance in various asymmetric catalysis. However, the access to enantiopure spirobiindane is quite tedious, which obstructs its practical application. In the present article, a facile enantioselective synthesis of cyclohexyl-fused chiral spirobiindanes has been accomplished, in high yields and excellent stereoselectivities (up to >99% ee), via a sequence of Ir-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of α,α′-bis(arylidene)ketones and TiCl4 promoted asymmetric spiroannulation of the hydrogenated chiral ketones. The protocol can be performed in one pot and is readily scalable, and has been utilized in a 25 g scale asymmetric synthesis of cyclohexyl-fused spirobiindanediol (1S,2S,2′S)-5, in >99% ee and 67% overall yield for four steps without chromatographic purification. Abstract

Abstract Historically, Japanese Encephalitis virus (JEV) genotype III (GIII) has been responsible for human diseases. In recent years, JEV genotype I (GI) has been isolated from mosquitoes collected in numerous countries, but has not been isolated from patients with encephalitis. In this study, we report recovery of JEV GI live virus and identification of JEV GI RNA from cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) of encephalitis patients in JE endemic areas of China. Whole-genome sequencing and molecular phylogenetic analysis of the JEV isolate from the CSF samples was performed. The isolate in this study is highly similar to other JEV GI strains which isolated from mosquitoes at both the nucleotide and deduced amino acid levels. Phylogenetic analysis based on the genomic sequence showed that the isolate belongs to JEV GI, which is consistent with the phylogenetic analysis based on the pre-membrane (PrM) and Glycoprotein genes. As a conclusion, this is the first time to isolate JEV GI strain from CSF samples of encephalitis patients, so continuous survey and evaluate the infectivity and pathogenecity of JEV GI strains are necessary, especially for the JEV GI strains from encephalitis patients. With respect to the latter, because all current JEV vaccines (live and inactivated are derived from JEV GIII strains, future studies should be aimed at investigating and monitoring cross-protection of the human JEV GI isolates against widely used JEV vaccines.

Abstract

Summary: Since the 1980s, a comprehensive field and laboratory investigation has been conducted throughout China, and a total of 29 virus species belonging to 7 families and 13 genera were identified through virological, morphological, and immunological methods, as well as whole‐genome sequencing and molecular genetic analyses. Most of the virus isolates belong to 9 genera in the families Flaviviridae, Bunyaviridae, Togaviridae, and Reoviridae. Among them, 4 genera (Orthobunyavirus, Bunyavirus, Phlebovirus, and Nairovirus) belong to the family Bunyaviridae and 3 genera (Seadonavirus, Orbivirus, and Cypovirus) belong to the family Reoviridae. Analyses of the relationships between viruses and human/animal diseases indicated that Japanese encephalitis virus, dengue virus, severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus, tick‐borne encephalitis virus, Crimean‐Congo hemorrhagic fever virus, West Nile virus, and Tahyna virus can cause human and animal infections and disease epidemics in China. This review systematically introduces the current status of the diversity and geographical distribution of arboviruses and vectors in China. In addition, our results provide strong technical support for the prevention and control of arboviral diseases, the treatment of epidemics, and the early warning and prediction of diseases, and so they are significant for the control and prevention of arboviral diseases in Asia and around the world. Abstract

A photovoltaic wittichenite semiconductor of Cu3BiS3, due to its optimal bandgap, high light absorption coefficient, and various advantages of low cost and environmental‐friendliness, has been considered a competitive candidate for solar absorber materials of photocathode for photoelectrochemical water splitting. However, the presence of various deleterious defects in the Cu3BiS3 lattice and its high conduction band minimum are detrimental factors that restrict further enhancements in the conversion efficiency of Cu3BiS3‐based photocathode. Herein, a one‐step solution‐based Ag element doping strategy is proposed to improve the crystalline quality of Cu3BiS3 films, which includes enlarging the grain size and reducing the intergranular gaps. Additionally, the Ag‐doped Cu3BiS3 layer can form a more favorable band alignment with the buffer layer. Ultimately, the fabricated composite Cu3BiS3‐based photocathode doped with 3% Ag delivers a remarkable photocurrent density of 13.6 mA cm−2 under 0 VRHE, an applied bias photon‐to‐current efficiency of 2.85%, and long‐term stability exceeding 12 h. Furthermore, with the assistance of a BiVO4 photoanode, the tandem cell also achieves an unbiased solar‐to‐hydrogen efficiency of 2.64%, with no significant decline observed within 20 h.
