The growing demand for electricity in large Brazilian cities and the distance to the region with the largest energy production have encouraged the construction of transmission lines thousands of kilometers long, crossing several states of the federation. Therefore, the heterogeneity of requirements in federal, state and district environmental laws tend to lead to uncertainty for the investor regarding procedures and investments necessary for the completion of the project, as well as the time that the requirements will take to be fulfilled. In the present study, we identify and compare the criteria used by the various environmental licensing agencies for classifying transmission system projects in the different procedures (simplified and ordinary) of environmental licensing. It was possible to expose the differences and demonstrate some inconsistencies in the legislation of some Brazilian states. In particular, we note an absence of proportionality between the licensing requirements and the expected environmental impacts for projects on the physical, biological and social environments. Additionally, it was identified subjectivity in the requirement for social participation through public hearings, demanded by the legislation for the projects classified in the ordinary procedure.

Resumo Os aneurismas de artérias viscerais (AAVs) e pseudoaneurismas de artérias viscerais (PAAVs) são condições raras e potencialmente letais quando rotos. Em geral, são encontrados incidentalmente na tomografia computadorizada de pacientes assintomáticos. Embora a cirurgia aberta convencional seja considerada atualmente o tratamento padrão ouro, a abordagem endovascular vem ganhando relevo por ser considerada um procedimento minimamente invasivo e com riscos cirúrgicos menores. Destaca-se, nessa abordagem, o uso de embolização por molas (coils) em AAVs e PAAVs saculares e implante de stent modulador de fluxo como alternativa de tratamento para aneurismas fusiformes. Apresentamos o caso de uma paciente de 51 anos com queixa de dor abdominal aguda, taquicardia e hipotensão, com evidência de sangramento abdominal em angiotomografia e diagnóstico de pseudoaneurisma de artéria ileocólica (AIC) roto. Ela foi submetida a tratamento endovascular precoce de embolização da AIC com sucesso, e houve melhora do quadro clínico. Abstract Visceral artery aneurysms (VAAs) and visceral artery pseudoaneurysms (VAPAs) are rare conditions and are potentially lethal when they rupture. They are usually found as incidental findings on computed tomography (CT) scans of asymptomatic patients. Although conventional open surgery is currently considered the gold standard treatment, the endovascular approach has gained prominence as a minimally invasive procedure with lower surgical risk. In this approach, use of coil embolization in saccular VAAs and VAPAs and implantation of flow-modulating stents constitute alternative treatments for fusiform aneurysms. We present the case of a 51-year-old female patient complaining of acute abdominal pain, tachycardia, and hypotension, with evidence of abdominal bleeding on CT angiography, who was diagnosed with a ruptured ileocolic artery (ICA) pseudoaneurysm. She underwent early endovascular treatment for ICA embolization, which was successful and achieved clinical improvement.

RESUMO Introdução: O reparo tecidual e a cicatrização de feridas cutâneas são processos complexos que envolvem uma série de eventos dinâmicos, incluindo coagulação, inflamação, formação de tecido de granulação, contração da ferida e remodelação tecidual. A necessidade de cuidar de pacientes com dificuldades na cicatrização de feridas é um desafio crescente e requer estratégias inovadoras. Uma abordagem que se destaca no tratamento dessas lesões é a laserterapia de baixa potência. Este estudo tem como objetivo demonstrar a aplicabilidade e os resultados de um protocolo de laserterapia de baixa potência no manejo da cicatrização de feridas cutâneas. Métodos: Trata-se de estudo retrospectivo de revisão de casos relatando o uso de laser no tratamento de feridas cutâneas em um centro único. Resultados: Avaliamos os resultados do uso de laserterapia de baixa potência e relatamos cinco casos de pacientes com feridas cutânea que não apresentaram melhora com o tratamento convencional. As lesões eram localizadas em sítios diversos, com lesão no tronco, membro superior e membro inferior. Os cinco casos apresentaram uma boa resposta com a terapia a laser, evoluindo com a cicatrização das feridas em um curto período de tempo, com período médio de cicatrização de 48 dias. Conclusão: Conclui-se que a laserterapia de baixa potência quando aplicada sobre feridas cutâneas sugere uma ação benéfica, promissora e tem um potencial para aumentar as opções terapêuticas disponíveis para o cirurgião, porém, como relatamos um número de cinco casos, há necessidade de mais estudos para verificar a eficiência do laser em feridas. ABSTRACT Introduction: Tissue repair and skin wound healing are complex processes that involve a series of dynamic events, including coagulation, inflammation, granulation tissue formation, wound contraction and tissue remodeling. The need to care for patients with difficulties in wound healing is a growing challenge and requires innovative strategies. One approach that stands out in the treatment of these injuries is low-power laser therapy. This study aims to demonstrate the applicability and results of a low-power laser therapy protocol in the management of skin wound healing. Methods: This is a retrospective case review study reporting the use of laser in the treatment of skin wounds in a single center. Results: We evaluated the results of the implementation of this low-power laser therapy protocol and reported five cases of patients with skin wounds that did not improve with conventional treatment. The lesions were located in different places, with lesions on the trunk, upper limb and lower limb. The five cases showed a good response to laser therapy, evolving with wound healing in a short period of time, with an average healing time of 48 days. Conclusion: It is concluded that low power laser therapy when applied to skin wounds suggests a beneficial, promising action and has the potential to increase the therapeutic options available to the surgeon, however as we report a number of five cases, further studies are needed for check laser efficiency on wounds.

Visando analisar alguns dos motivos dos atrasos na implantacao e entrada em operacao dos projetos de sistemas de transmissao no Brasil, o presente estudo pondera sobre os prazos e definicoes dos regramentos Portaria MMA no 421/2011, Portaria Interministerial no 60/2015, Portaria MS/SVS 01/2014, IN IPHAN 001/2015 e IN FCP 01/2018 aplicaveis no licenciamento ambiental de empreendimentos de transmissao de energia, passiveis de licenciamento ambiental federal simplificado, considerados de pequeno potencial de impacto ambiental pelo IBAMA e sua interface com orgaos envolvidos FCP, IPHAN e MS/SVS. Os regramentos e seus prazos foram aplicados no software MS Project e o resultado foi que o processo de licenciamento simplificado de projetos de sistemas transmissao de energia ficam controlados pelos prazos de manifestacao dos orgaos envolvidos e nao pelos prazos do orgao ambiental licenciador. Desta forma, apesar de todo o esforco em buscar um desenho do sistema de transmissao de energia com menor impacto socioambiental e, com isso, ser enquadrado pelo IBAMA como empreendimento de pequeno potencial de impacto ambiental, o cronograma de projeto nao sera compativel com o que esta definido na Portaria MMA no 421/2011.

Infant fear and anxiety are two feelings that cause stress in pediatric dental treatment. Many management techniques have been described in the literature, with the aim of controlling this anxiety and fear that are ultimately a big challenge for the dental surgeon. The aim of this study is to present a clinical case of a five-year-old child who would not cooperate with the dental treatment. To this end, an incentive chart was devised that is specific for treatment. The chart focuses on encouraging the child to comply with rules in the pediatric dentist office and, as the child completes his objectives, the chart is filled with happy faces and at the end of the appointment, depending on the outcome, the patient is rewarded with something. We concluded that the use of the incentive chart was particularly satisfactory in terms of the patient’s conduct and developing maturity over the course of his dental treatment and it may be an additional option to use as an adjunct in the approach to behavior in private or public dental clinics, and even in Universities. RESUMO O medo e ansiedade infantil são dois sentimentos que causam estresse no tratamento odontopediatrico. Muitas técnicas de condutas e manejo são descritas na literatura onde principalmente o objetivo é controlar esse comportamento acaba sendo um grande desafio para cirurgião dentista. O objetivo deste trabalho é apresentar um caso clinico de uma criança de 5 anos de idade que não cooperava com o tratamento odontológico por apresentar medo e ansiedade de experiências passadas. Para isso, foi elaborado um quadro de incentivo, especifico para atendimento odontológico, para ajudar a criança a perceber a sua rotina e auxiliar na introdução de atividades diárias. O uso do quadro de incentivo, foi bastante eficaz na conduta e amadurecimento do paciente durante o tratamento odontologico. O uso desse quadro acaba sendo uma alternativa a mais, a ser utilizada como abordagem de comportamento no consultório particular, público ou mesmo nas Universidades.

O objetivo da pesquisa é refletir sobre o papel da memória e do patrimônio no projeto de planejamento urbano da cidade de Medellín, na Colômbia, ocorrido na primeira década do século XXI, entre os anos de 2004 a 2011, com ênfase na concepção e na institucionalização do Museo Casa de la Memoria. Para isso, buscou compreender como o museu estabeleceu seus programas - o institucional e a política curatorial (narrativa expositiva e recorte patrimonial), bem como no diálogo com o público, trata as questões relacionadas ao conflito e à memória como reparação simbólica, e ainda entender em que essa instituição auxilia no desenvolvimento ou fortalecimento das políticas de paz, atenção às vítimas e à diversidade. A opção metodológica foi analisar como a cultura e, em especial, a memória e o patrimônio aparecem nos documentos oficiais do governo municipal, na legislação federal e, por fim, no estudo de caso do Museo Casa de la Memoria. Dessa forma, fez um exercício de reflexão acerca dos usos da memória, nesse processo político e sociocultural específico e tece hipóteses sobre os limites e as potencialidades da institucionalização da memória como expressão das minorias, como vetor de reparação simbólica e a sua incorporação como discurso de Estado e de reconciliação nacional. The aim of the research is to reflect about the role of memory and heritage in the urban planning of the city of Medellín, Colombia, that occurred in the first decade of XXI century, between 2004 and 2011, with an in-depth analysis of the conception and building of the Museo Casa de la Memoria (MCM). For this purpose, it seeks to understand how MCM established its programs - institutional and curatorial policy (exhibition narrative and heritage emphasis). To interpret how, in the dialogue with the public, the Museum raised questions about the conflict and memory as symbolic reparation, and to grasp how it helps in the development and empowerment of peace, victims\'aid and diversity policies.The methodological option was to analyze how culture and, specially, memory and heritage appear in the municipal government official documents, in the federal legislation and, finally, in the case study of MCM. Therefore, it seeks a reflection about the uses of memory in this specific political and sociocultural process and it bring hypothesis about the limits and potentials of institutionalizing memory as the expression of minorities and as a vector of symbolic reparation, as well as its incorporation as a state discourse of national reconciliation.
