In view of the importance of family farming for everyone, being the best source of access to organic and high nutritional value foods, it is necessary to facilitate the dissemination of them to the population. However, observing the difficulties of the farmers due to the lack of knowledge of how to deal with the logistics and transport of this merchandise, this work aims to observe and analyze the methodologies used CSA (Community that Sustains Agriculture) of Cajazeiras - Paraíba that has as paper, educate farmers, improve the contact between them and the consumer and consequently improve their quality of life in their work.

Relata resultado do projeto de extensão “Estudo de mobilidade urbana eficiente e transporte não-motorizado para Cajazeiras-PB”. O projeto teve como objetivo elaborar um diagnóstico local de mobilidade urbana na cidade de Cajazeira, PB a fim de contribuir na elaboração do plano municipal de mobilidade urbana local, a ser elaborado em conjunto com os parceiros sociais, com foco no deslocamento por modais não-motorizados, caracterizados por pedestres e ciclista. Procedimentos metodológicos: pesquisa bibliográfica; Pesquisa documental; Pesquisa de campo por meio de contagem de fluxos e análise de calçadas pela Técnica Safári Urbano. Concluiu-se que a cidade apresenta visível e crescente aumento do uso de automóveis particulares como opção de locomoção elegida por grande parte dos frequentadores do lugar e um consequente esgotamento das estruturas viárias existentes, necessitando também de manutenção local. Por outro lado, ressalta-se que o transporte coletivo público municipal apresenta-se como ínfimo e existem poucas normalizações com foco no transporte não-motorizado, caracterizado por pedestres e ciclistas, incluindo equipamentos e sinalização, além de ausentes medidas de moderação de velocidade.

Relata resultado de um projeto que teve como objetivo prestar serviço de assessoria técnica à prefeitura municipal de Cajazeiras-PB no processo de implantação de um sistemas de consulta automática aos índices urbanísticos contido no documento intitulado “Código de urbanismo e obras” com suporte das tecnologias Building Information Modelling (BIM), além de métodos e técnicas de uso do Sistema de Informação Geográfica (GIS) para a criação e disponibilização de um banco de dados georreferenciado em ambiente web dos mapas de zoneamento urbano da cidade. Foram realizadas consultas a mapas e plantas cadastrais (impressas e digitais), produção de arquivos no formato shapefile das faces e logradouros, limite municipal, tabulação de dados numéricos dos índices urbanísticos descritos ao longo dos documentos normativos e estruturação de dados para emissão de relatórios das consultas automáticas. A implementação da tecnologia BIM já nas primeiras etapas de desenvolvimento apresentou avanços para a tomada de decisões mais consistentes e em menor tempo e custo de produção. Além disso, a implantação e uso dessa tecnologia pode popularizar informações, tornando-as mais simples e acessíveis ao cidadão comum de Cajazeiras, PB que nem sempre tem o domínio da linguagem técnica das legislações.

Objective To explore the value of renal parenchyma-to-hydronephrosis area ratio (PHAR) in detecting trends of hydronephrosis (HN) improvement or worsening and response to surgical intervention. Methods Initial and follow-up sagittal renal ultrasound images of patients entered into a prenatal HN database from 2008 to 2016, with baseline Society for Fetal Urology (SFU) grades III and IV HN and without vesicoureteral reflux, were evaluated using National Institutes of Health-sponsored image-processing software. Renal parenchymal area, hydronephrosis area (HA), PHAR, anteroposterior diameter (APd), and SFU grade were captured at baseline and most recent visit. Data were analyzed based on the need for surgical intervention to address obstruction. Results Out of 193 infants (159 boys; 135 left side), 58 (30%) underwent surgery. Patients managed surgically compared with those managed nonsurgically had worse baseline HN severity markers: SFU grade (3.6 ± 0.5 vs 3.1 ± 0.4; P .001), urinary tract dilation classification (2.7 ± 0.5 vs 2.2 ± 0.4; P .001), APd (20.3 ± 10.1 vs 12.8 ± 8.0; P .001), HA (10.0 ± 6.6 vs 4.7 ± 2.8; P .001), and PHAR (1.3 ± 1.0 vs 3.0 ± 2.9; P .001); but both patient groups had similar renal parenchymal area (9.4 ± 3.5 vs 9.7 ± 2.8; P = .5). At last follow-up, the following discrepancies persisted: SFU grade (2.3 ± 1.0 vs 1.7 ± 1.0; P .001), urinary tract dilation classification (1.5 ± 0.7 vs 1.0 ± 0.7; P .001), APd (11.7 ± 8.0 vs 7.7 ± 5.7; P .001), and HA (6.4 ± 5.1 vs 3.6 ± 2.7; P .001); however, PHAR was equalized for both groups (7.2 ± 14.0 vs 7.1 ± 6.1; P = .9). Conclusion By concurrently considering changes in renal parenchyma and degree of HN, we found that PHAR appears to be a promising parameter that reflects similarities between patients managed surgically and those managed nonsurgically, despite initial discrepancies. Our data suggest that this variable may provide reassurance and a more objective assessment of improvement after surgery compared with other traditional ultrasound outcome measures.

The possibility that sex differences found in previous research on field dependence may have been due partly to experimenters' expectancy was investigated. Three pairs of naive student-experimenters received different information about expected outcomes for males and females on the Rod and Frame Test and the Embedded Figures Test. There was no evidence of an experimenters' expectancy effect, but there was also no significant difference in the performance of men and women on these two tests of field dependence.
