Abstract

Mine water disaster is closely related to the geological structure of the mine. A scientific evaluation of the complexity of the minefield structure can greatly contribute to mining safety. In this study, we optimized the fault impact index in the study area and proposed an improved local linear embedding (LLE) algorithm by investigating the Shengquan coal mine. We analyzed the fault formation age and connectivity between faults in the study area, combined with topology theory, and based on previous studies. The mechanical properties of faults and the influence of small faults on the strata can be combined to derive a quantitative evaluation model of the structural complexity of mines. Based on the evaluation model, the study area was divided into a simple structural area, a medium structural area, and a complex structural area. By comparing the location of water inrush points in recent years with the three-dimensional high-density electrical exploration of the 21,304 working face, the effectiveness and rationality of structural complexity zoning were determined.

Abstract

A novel visual flow-through column biomimetic immunoassay using horseradish peroxidase-labeled clenbuterol (HRP-CLB) as a tracer and molecularly imprinted polymers (MIPs) with high specificity as the artificial antibody has been developed for rapid detection of CLB. Different intensities of blue color products on test layer of the column could be observed after reaction. This optimized assay provided a preliminary qualitative result in the concentration range of 0 to 1000 μg/L by judging color density of the test layer without any equipment, and the detection could be finished within 15 min. This assay was evaluated using CLB spiked water samples and results were comparable to high performance liquid chromatography method. The visual detection limit of 5 μg/L in water sample was obtained. This developed flow-through column biomimetic immunoassay was demonstrated as a suitable tool for rapid, sensitive, low-cost, and qualitative determination of CLB residues on site.

Abstract

Deltamethrin, one of the most toxic pyrethroids, is commonly used to inhibit pests in wheat. However, the trace levels of deltamethrin in wheat is alarming to human health. In this study, surface-enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS)-active silver nanoparticles-plated-zinc oxide nanoflowers (Ag@ZnO NFs) nano-sensor were employed for rapid and sensitive quantification of deltamethrin in wheat. To sufficiently utilize the chemical-related information in SERS spectra, various spectral pretreatment and chemometric models were studied. The mean centering (MC) coupling successive projection algorithm-partial least squares regression (SPA-PLS) provided optimal predictive performance (correlation coefficient of prediction (Rp) = 0.9736 and residual predictive deviation (RPD) = 4.75). Quality and stability in blueberry juice were studied with cold pretreatment and freeze-thaw pretreatment. Samples were pretreated in cold temperature environment and the cloud value of juice was significantly decreased (P Meanwhile, the cloud value of juice was significantly increased when the blueberries were processed by freeze-thaw pretreatment (P The juice of a* and L* value were significantly increased in freeze-thaw pretreatment and significantly decreased in cold pretreatment (P The turbidity of the juice which blueberries were processed by cold pretreatment was 680 NTU that it was significantly decreased than other samples (P The particle diameter of blueberry juice was decreased by cold pretreatment. 7. Browning and Flavor Changing of Cloudy Apple Juice during Accelerated Storage

Abstract

In this paper, the browning and flavor changing of cloudy apple juice during accelerated storage were investigated with storage temperature at 37 degC. These indicators, such as, soluble solids content, titratable acid content, Vc, color difference, and turbidity of cloudy apple juice were measured every 1 or 2 hours during storage. Meanwhile, the volatile flavor of juice were also analyzed using electronic nose. The results showed that L* and DE* values decreased during storage, while a* and b* values increased. The electronic nose could distinguish the apple juice stored for 0 hour from other storage time, and the sensor with the highest contribution rate was W1S, followed by W1C and W2S, which were sensitive to hydrocarbons, aromatics, and alcohols, respectively. The values of Vc content, sugar-acid ratio, and turbidity fluctuated slightly during storage. In general, the content of Vc decreased significantly, and the ratio of sugar to acid also decreased, while, turbidity increased during storage.
