Sous le pseudonyme d’Émile Villars, Nina de Villard publia trente poèmes dans L’Artiste d’Arsène Houssaye. Ces poèmes donnent la clé d’autres textes, qu’elle publia entre 1865 et 1870 sous le même pseudonyme. Ils montrent pourquoi son salon devint célèbre dans l’histoire littéraire comme le « Boudoir du Parnasse » et quel fut son impact sur des poètes comme Mallarmé, Cros et Nouveau. Donnés en annexe, les voici regroupés en recueil et enfin rendus à leur véritable auteur., Under the pseudonym Émile Villars, Nina de Villard published thirty poems in Arsène Houssaye’s L’Artiste. These poems provide the key to other work, which she published between 1865 and 1870 using the same pseudonym. They show why her salon became famous in literary history as the “Boudoir du Parnasse” and what its impact was on poets like Mallarmé, Cros, and Nouveau. Having previously been given a secondary role, this collection has brought them together and finally returned them to their real author.

While the continuing obscurity surrounding the genesis, composition and meaning of Rimbaud’s Voyelles only enhances the poem’s lyrical charisma, there exists a coincidence between the writer’s concern with vowels and the work of his early linguistician contemporaries into the evolution of vowel sounds and their phonetic relationship. Alongside serious pioneering work by Bopp, Bréal and Saussure are to be found, complete with diagrams, more phantasmagorical excursions into sound− colour correspondences. How aware was the poet of esoteric work by the philologists Lucien Adam and Honoré Chavée, presented here? Charles Cros’s interest in Sanskrit, his work on the mechanical recording of sound, his links with Rimbaud and purported relationship with Bréal foreshadow the semantician’s influence on Paulhan’s linguistic investigations and the poetics of the Surrealists. La mise en abyme peut servir de support à un discours humoristique, en ce qu’elle perturbe les places et rôles traditionnels, et que le reflet de son jeu de miroir ressemble parfois à celui, déformant, des fêtes foraines. L’effet s’observe surtout dans ce que Lucien Dallenbach appelle des mises en abyme de l’énonciation, ces procédés qui consistent à exposer dans le discours fictionnel des éléments qui ne devraient pas y être révélés (comme les producteur/récepteur du récit ou le contexte de cette production/réception). Cet article propose un parcours sur les possibles effets humoristiques de la mise en abyme, de Baudelaire à Michael Hanneke, en passant par Charles Cros et South Park.

Más que por un animalismo strictu sensu, la obra de Patrick Modiano se caracteriza por un profundo animalismo latente, en consonancia con una escritura minimalista marcada por la atenuación y por la poética de la ambigüedad. La investigación desvela cómo los cuentos de Marcel Aymé aportan a su imaginario de lector infantil un mundo en el que los animales viven y dialogan con una pareja de hermanas con las que el pequeño Modiano se identifica junto a Rudy, su hermano pequeño. Los accidentes que sufrieron dos perros con los que Modiano tuvo relación de niño le hicieron percibir una experiencia de la muerte, que precedió al trauma de la temprana desaparición de Rudy. A la influencia de Aymé se une también la de un Raymond Queneau, gran “animalier” poética y vitalmente, que actuó como mentor del escritor en ciernes. La investigación pone también el foco en dos animales de juguete que actúan como talismanes, u objetos transicionales, con los que el Modiano niño alivia su soledad en los internados en los que ha sido confinado. Asimismo destaca el rol de compensación de las carencias afectivas familiares que desempeñaron dos perros con los que Modiano vagabundeó en su juventud. El análisis de Lacombe Lucien pone de manifiesto la relevancia de la representación animal a lo largo del film en el que aparece la figura de un gran perro melancólico que se prolongará en Villa Triste, donde se convierte en un espejo del narrador y en un “voyeur d’ombres”. A partir de Livret de famille, los animales se incorporan a la compleja combinación de oposiciones binarias que recorre el conjunto de su obra, especialmente al binomio identidad/alteridad. Y el tema de la caza aparece por primera vez como una metáfora de la persecución de los judíos, en la que además incrusta la figura de un padre representado como víctima, a pesar de haber sido un colaborador. En su narrativa, la figura del perro es a veces un explorador anímico en el deambular del protagonista de sus novelas por las calles de Paris, a veces un psicopompo en la búsqueda fantasmagórica de personajes desaparecidos, en ocasiones un doble simbólico del narrador cuando no del hermano muerto e, incluso de ambos, en un sujeto desdoblado que los aúna: le chien et moi / mon frère et moi. De forma que la muerte del hermano, y el temor a ser también él víctima mortal del abandono familiar, se expresan en la autoficción mediante el recuerdo encubridor de la muerte del perro de su infancia. La figura del perro se convierte así en una máscara con la que el autor puede “mentir vrai” y ajustar cuentas con sus progenitores, especialmente con la madre. Además, la decodificación que hacemos del criptograma de la lista de los garajes de Rémise de peine vendría a corroborar la hipótesis del profesor Lecarme según la cual los padres dejaron morir a Rudy a causa de una negligencia En Dieu prend-il soin de bœufs?, por un lado se condensan todas las metáforas animales de su obra y por otro, el sujeto desdoblado se unifica en un definitorio sobrenombre: le chien noir du chagrin. El estudio comparado de este cuento con La femme pauvre de Léon Bloy nos ha permitido descubrir la profunda influencia de su animalismo en Modiano. Asimismo, la investigación demuestra que en su obra la idea poética de la figura del perro encarnando almas errantes, tiene su origen en la leyenda sobre Charles Cros –que creía que su perro llevaba el alma de Baudelaire– y en la influencia de algunos poemas del propio Cros y de Tristan Corbière. La tesis demuestra finalmente la influencia en Modiano de la simbología animal de Los apuntes de Malte Laurids Brigge y de la octava de las Elegías de Duino, de Rainer María Rilke. More than a strictu sensu animalism, the work of Patrick Modiano is characterized by a deep latent animalism, in consonance with a minimalist writing marked by the attenuation and by the poetics of ambiguity. The investigation reveals how the tales of Marcel Aymé bring to his childhood reader’ imaginary a world in which animals live and dialogue with a pair of sisters with whom the child Modiano, together with his little brother Rudy, identifies with. The accidents suffered by two dogs with which Modiano had a childhood relationship made him perceive an experience of death, which preceded the trauma of Rudy’s early disappearance. To the influence of Aymé is also united the one of Raymond Queneau, great "animalier" poetically and vitally, that acted like mentor of the budding writer. The research also focuses on two toy animals that act as talismans, or transitional objects, with which the child Modiano alleviates his loneliness in the boarding schools in which he has been confined. It highlights as well the role of compensation for the family affective deficiencies that played two dogs with which Modiano wandered in his youth. Lacombe Lucien’s analysis reveals the relevance of animal representation throughout the film in which appears the figure of a great melancholic dog that will be prolonged in Villa Triste, where it becomes a mirror of the narrator and a "voyeur d’ombres ". From Livret de famille, animals are incorporated into the complex combination of binary oppositions that runs throughout his work, especially the identity/alterity binomial. And the subject of the hunt appears for the first time as a metaphor of the persecution of the Jews, in which also it inlays the figure of a father represented like a victim, in spite of having been a collaborator. In his narrative, the figure of the dog is sometimes a psychic explorer in the wandering of the main character of his novels in the streets of Paris, sometimes a psychopompo in a phantasmagoric search for missing characters, sometimes a symbolic double of the narrator or of the dead brother, and even of both, in a split subject that unites them: le chien et moi / mon frère et moi. So that the death of the brother, and the fear of being himself also the mortal victim of family abandonment, are expressed in autofiction by the screen memory of the death of the dog of his childhood. The figure of the dog thus becomes a mask with which the author can "mentir vrai" and settle a score with his parents, especially with the mother. In addition, the decoding we do of the cryptogram of the list of the garages of Rémise de peine would corroborate the hypothesis of Professor Lecarme, according to which the parents let Rudy die because of negligence. In Dieu prend-il soin de bœufs, on the one hand all the animal metaphors of his work are condensed and, on the other, the splitted subject is unified in a definitory nickname: le chien noir du chagrin. The comparative study of this tale with La femme pauvre by Léon Bloy has allowed us to discover the profound influence of his animalism in Modiano. Research also shows that in his work the poetic idea of the figure of the dog incarnating wandering souls has its origin in the legend about Charles Cros –who believed that his dog carried the soul of Baudelaire– and in the influence of some poems of Cros himself and Tristan Corbière. The thesis finally shows the influence in Modiano of the animal symbology of The Notebooks of Malte Laurids Brigge and of the eighth of Duino Elegies, by Rainer Maria Rilke.

The work is concerned with the French artists of the cursed poets Charles Cros, Tristan Corbière and Jules Laforgue in rendition of the Czech poet and translator Vladimír Holan. The first part is dedicated to an age-long tradition of the Czech- French relations. In the second part the work deals with a literary-theoretical background of the Czech and French poetry and with the point of view of a literary criticism to the studied poets of the symbolism and the decadence and to Holan. The third part analyses the poetic universe and a concrete version of original poems. Their translation by Vladimír Holan the work examines then. Concurrently, the work judges the common constituents of the production of the chosen French poets and of Vladimír Holan. Afterwards, it assesses a doing of the translator in transposing the French poems to the Czech language environment.

Die ersten Untersuchungen zur Animation fotografischer Bilder zwischen 1850 und 1870 sind Gegenstand verschiedener Diskussionen der Medienhistoriographie. Wie kam es dazu, dass bereits 30 Jahre vor der sich verfestigenden Praxis des Kinos Probleme formuliert wurden, die eine eindeutige Nähe zu dieser aufweisen? Wie kann diesen Parallelen Tribut gezollt und eine teleologische Geschichtsschreibung vermieden werden? Der Artikel schlägt vor, diese Fragen vor dem Hintergrund der Thesen Gaston Bachelard und Gilbert Simondon zum Konzept des Problems in der Geschichte der Wissenschaft und Technologie zu untersuchen. Am Beispiel von Charles Cros «Aufzeichnungs- und Reproduktionsverfahren von Farben, Formen und Bewegungen» wird eine Technikgeschichte über die Epistemologie von Problemen durchgeführt., The first researches on the animation of photographic images between 1850 and 1870 have been the object of discussions in media historiography. How can it be that, some thirty years before the concrete realization of the cinema, problems have been formulated that seem so close to what cinema will later do? And how can we avoid, to give a pertinent account of these parallels, the construction of a teleological history? This article proposes a reconsideration of these questions based on the concept of problem as it has been constructed by Gaston Bachelard and Gilbert Simondon in the histories of science and technology. The example of Charles Cros's 1867 «Process for the recording and reproduction of colors, forms and movements» illustrates this approach of technological history through the epistemology of problems.
