Background: To investigate the expression of EBV products and frequency of gallstone disease (GD) among different microsatellite status in colorectal cancer (CRC) with BRAFV600E mutation. Methods: We collected 30 CRC patients with BRAFV600E mutation and 10 BRAF (−) CRC patients as well as 54 healthy subjects. Tumor tissue samples were collected to detect the mutation of BRAF, KRAS, and TP53. Microsatellite status was determined by immunohistochemistry and PCR. EBER in situ hybridization was performed to detect EBV. In addition, we also collected clinical information about the patients. Results: We found that although EBV products were detected in CRC, there were no significant differences in the EBV distribution between the different BRAF groups. Our study demonstrated that BRAFV600E mutation and BRAFV600E with MSI were significantly more frequent in the right CRC. Furthermore, the KRAS mutation rate in the BRAF-wild-type group was proved to be significantly higher than that in the BRAF mutation group. In addition, we revealed that BRAF mutation and MSI were independent risk factors of TNM stage. The frequency of GD was higher in CRC patients than in general population, and although there was no significant difference between CRC with or without BRAFV600E mutation, the highest frequency of GD was found in MSS CRC with BRAFV600E mutation. Conclusions: EBV plays a role in CRC, but is not a determinant of different microsatellite status in CRC with BRAFV600E mutation. To solve the problems of strong infrared radiation, poor continuous combat capability of the system, serious ablation of the launching device, and environmental pollution of the existing missile launching system, electromagnetic launch system (EMLS) has been studied for missile launch system. Combining the situation that the current research on missile electromagnetic launch system (MEMLS) mainly focuses on the key technical points and the deficiencies in the previous research on MEMLS, this paper establishes an effectiveness prediction model based on GRA-PCA-LSSVM, and discusses the investment efficiency of the system based on DEA. During the operation of a permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM), the control system is impacted by changes in the internal parameters and by external disturbances, resulting in reduced accuracy. The robustness and anti‐interference ability of a PMSM can be improved using a speed loop‐current loop integrated predictive control method. First, a PMSM mathematical model is constructed considering parameter changes and external disturbances. Second, using only the input and output of the speed loop and the current loop, without involving any motor parameters, an ultra‐local model‐free predictive control model of the speed loop and the current loop is built; this model has a lower sensitivity to parameter changes. Finally, to improve the tracking accuracy for speed and current, an extended state observer (ESO) and a disturbance observation compensator (DOC) are established to observe the total disturbance of system in real time and perform feedforward compensation. Myeloid‐related protein 8/14 (MRP8/14) participates in various inflammatory responses, however, its effect on macrophage efferocytosis remains unclear. Here, we demonstrate that MRP8/14 significantly inhibits the efferocytosis of apoptotic thymocytes by mouse bone marrow‐derived macrophages (BMDMs), which later proves to be associated with the receptor for advanced glycation end products (RAGE) or for reducing the expression of growth arrest‐specific protein 6 and milk fat globule epidermal growth factor 8, independent of RAGE. Furthermore, MRP8/14 promotes polarization of BMDMs from the M2‐ to M1‐like phenotype by upregulating expression of M1‐related surface receptor proteins and signature M1‐marker genes and by downregulating signature M2‐marker gene expression, which depends on Toll‐like receptor 4 and p38 mitogen‐activated protein kinase/nuclear factor κB pathways. Thus, we report a significant inhibitory effect of MRP8/14 on macrophage efferocytosis and MRP8/14‐mediated phenotypic polarization, which may be helpful in developing novel therapeutic strategies leading to inflammation resolution. As the industry gradually enters the stage of unmanned and intelligent, factories in the future need to realize intelligent monitoring and diagnosis and maintenance of parts and components. In order to achieve this goal, it is first necessary to accurately identify and classify the parts in the factory. However, the existing literature rarely studies the classification and identification of parts of the entire factory. Due to the lack of existing data samples, this paper studies the identification and classification of small samples of industrial machine parts. In order to solve this problem, this paper establishes a convolutional neural network model based on the InceptionNet-V3 pretrained model through migration learning. Through experimental design, the influence of data expansion, learning rate and optimizer algorithm on the model effectiveness is studied, and the optimal model was finally determined, and the test accuracy rate reaches 99.74%. By comparing with the accuracy of other classifiers, the experimental results prove that the convolutional neural network model based on transfer learning can effectively solve the problem of recognition and classification of industrial machine parts with small samples and the idea of transfer learning can also be further promoted. However, most of the current research studies are aimed at specific technical points and lack the overall design and evaluation of the system. Therefore, the designed system may have problems such as excessive cost, lack of economy, or low overall efficiency. In order to complete the overall evaluation of the missile electromagnetic launch system (MEMLS), this article established an ADC model improved by entropy weight method-fuzzy analytic hierarchy process-improved combination weighting model of game theory (EWM-FAHP-ICWGT). The established model integrates subjective and objective weights, eliminating the problem of negative combination coefficients that traditional CWGT may bring, and the average difference in combination weights is the smallest. Difference analysis and differential analysis are also used here to discuss the requirements for the reliability indicator which is mean time between failure (MTBF) and maintainability indicator which is mean time to repair (MTTR) to further improve the effectiveness of the system. Model predictive control (MPC) has been widely implemented in the motor because of its simple control design and good results. However, MPC relies on the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) system model. With the operation of the motor, parameter drift will occur due to temperature rise and flux saturation, resulting in model mismatch, which will seriously affect the control accuracy of the motor. This paper proposes a model predictive control based on parameter disturbance compensation that monitors system disturbances caused by motor parameter drift and performs real-time parameter disturbance compensation. And the frequency-domain method was used to analyze the convergence and filterability of the model. The Bode diagram of measurement error and input disturbance was studied when the parameters were underdamped, critically damped, and overdamped. Guidelines for parameter selection are given. Simulation results show that the proposed method has good dynamic performance, anti-interference ability, and parameter robustness, which effectively avoids the current static difference and oscillation problems caused by parameter changes. With the rapid development of inertial technology, the rotational inertial system has been widely used for high-accuracy navigation. In addition, the single-axis rotational inertial navigation system is one of the most popular navigation systems due to its low cost. However, the fact which cannot be ignored is that although single axis rotational inertial navigation system can restrain divergence of attitude error, it cannot eliminate velocity error, which is mainly caused by the gyro misalignment and scale factor error related to rotational axis. A novel calibration method established on filter has been proposed. Position, velocity, and attitude are chosen to be the state variables. In order to estimate the gyro errors related to rotational axis, these errors must be included in the state equation. Correspondingly, zero velocity and rate of turntable are chosen to be measured. Simulation has been carried out to verify the correctness of the theory, and the real test has been performed to further demonstrate the validity of the method. By compensating the main error estimated by filter, it can be found that the accumulated errors in velocity and attitude are decreased. Background: Thrombospondin-1 (THBS1) is a secretory adhesive glycoprotein involved in the progression of multiple malignancies, including breast cancer. However, the clinical significance and prognostic role of plasma THBS1 in breast cancer have yet to be clarified. Methods: Plasma THBS1 levels in 627 breast cancer patients were analyzed by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay. Bone marrow blood was drawn from the anterior/posterior superior iliac spine to detect the presence of disseminated tumor cells (DTCs). The effects of plasma THBS1 on the clinicopathological characteristics and survival prediction of breast cancer patients were explored. Results: Plasma THBS1 did not correlate with overall survival, breast cancer-specific survival (BCSS), and distant disease-free survival (DDFS) in the entire breast cancer cohort. Notably, HER2-enriched patients with high-plasma THBS1 levels had significantly shorter BCSS (P = 0.027) and DDFS (P = 0.011) than those with low levels. Multivariate analyses revealed that plasma THBS1 was an independent prognostic marker of BCSS (P = 0.026) and DDFS (P = 0.007) in HER2-enriched patients. THBS1 levels were 24% higher in positive DTC patients than in negative DTC patients (P = 0.031), and high levels were significantly associated with poor BCSS in positive DTC patients (HR 2.08, 95% CI 1.17–3.71; P = 0.019). Moreover, high-plasma THBS1 levels were specifically associated with an increased occurrence of brain metastasis in HER2-enriched patients (P = 0.041). Conclusion: These findings suggest that plasma THBS1 may be serving as an unfavorable prognosis predictor for HER2-enriched breast cancer and justifies the need for further research. To prepare O/W type epoxy resin E51 emulsion, anionic and nonionic emulsifiers were selected. Tn this experiment, SDBS, SDS, OP-10, Tween 80 and PSMS were used as emulsifiers, whose amount was 0.5%, 1 %, 5% and 10% of epoxy resin E51, respectively. The emulsifying mechanism of emulsifier was analyzed, and the emulsifying effect of emulsifiers with different kinds and different concentration was compared. The results show that when the solution temperature is 60 °C, the volume is 100 mL, speed of homogenizer is 16 X 10³ r/min, and mechanical stirring speed is 500 r/min, under 15 minutes of homogenization and mechanical agitation, SDBS and SDS can not get a stable emulsion, while Tween 80 and PSMS in that conditions as an emulsifier are more appropriate. Energy consumption and tribological properties could be improved by proper design of surface texture in friction. However, some literature focused on investigating their performance under high temperature. In the study, different groove surface textures were fabricated on steels by a laser machine, and their tribological behaviors were experimentally studied with the employment of the friction and wear tester under distinct high temperature and other working conditions. The friction coefficient was recorded, and wear performance were characterized by double light interference microscope, scanning electron microscope (SEM) and x-ray energy dispersive spectrometry (EDS). Then, the performances of energy consumptions were carefully estimated. Results showed that friction coefficient, wear, and energy consumption could almost all be reduced by most textures under high temperature conditions, but to a different extent which depends on the experimental conditions and texture parameters. The main improvement mechanisms were analyzed, such as the hardness change, wear debris storage, thermal stress release and friction induced temperature reduction by the textures. Finally, a scattergram of the relatively reduced ratio of the energy consumption was drawn for different surface textures under four distinctive experimental conditions to illustrate the comprehensive energy consumption improving ability of textures, which was of benefit for the application of texture design. Lung cancer causes over 1.6 million mortalities worldwide annually. MicroRNAs (miRs) are involved in various types of cancer-associated processes. The present study investigated the possible mechanism of miR-107 in the development of lung cancer in order to identify novel targets for clinical treatment. The expression levels of miR-107 and its putative target gene TP53 regulated inhibitor of apoptosis 1 (TRIAP1) were measured in lung cancer tumor tissues and non-tumor adjacent tissues. Subsequently, the association between TRIAP1 and miR-107 was investigated using a dual-luciferase reporter assay. Following transfection, the effects of miR-107 and TRIAP1 on the proliferation and apoptosis of lung cancer cell lines in vitro were investigated using Cell Counting Kit-8 and flow cytometry assays, respectively. Furthermore, the regulatory effect of miR-107 on the expression levels of TRIAP1 and associated proteins was analyzed using a western blot assay. The results revealed lower expression levels of miR-107 and higher expression levels of TRIAP1 in lung cancer tumor tissues compared with non-tumor adjacent tissues. The dual-luciferase reporter assay demonstrated that TRIAP1 is a target gene of miR-107. Additionally, the results revealed that overexpression of miR-107 resulted in a lower proliferation rate and higher apoptosis rate of A549 cells, compared with the negative control (NC) and control groups (P<0.01). The variation of cell proliferation and apoptosis induced by miR-107 mimics was reversed by co-transfection with pcDNA3.1-TRIAP1. Furthermore, the expression levels of cyclin D1 and proliferating cell nuclear antigen were markedly decreased in the miR-107 mimics group compared with the NC group (P<0.01). The expression levels of BCL2 associated X apoptosis regulator, tumor protein p53 and caspase 3 were upregulated and the expression levels of TRIAP1 and BCL2 apoptosis regulator were significantly reduced in the miR-107 mimics group compared with the NC group (P<0.01). Ferroptosis, a newly identified type of programmed cell death type, has been proven to contribute to the progression of myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury. However, little is known about ferroptosis regulation in I/R injury. We identified activating transcription factor 3 (ATF3) as a vital regulator of I/R induced ferroptosis and investigated the effects and potential mechanism of ATF3 in cardiac ferroptosis. In this study, the dynamic RNA-sequencing (RNA-seq) analysis were performed on mouse hearts exposed to different I/R schedules to identify that ATF3 represents an important modulatory molecule in myocardial I/R injury. Then knockout, rescue and overexpression methods were used in mice and neonatal mouse cells (NMCs) to illustrate the effect of ATF3 on myocardial I/R injury. Loss/gain of function techniques were used both in vivo and in vitro to explore the effects of ATF3 on ferroptosis in I/R injury. Furthermore, chromatin immunoprecipitation sequence (ChIP-seq) analysis was performed in the AC16 human cardiomyocyte cell line to investigate potential genes regulated by ATF3. ATF3 expression reached highest level at early stage of reperfusion, knockout of ATF3 significantly aggravated I/R injury, which could be rescued by ATF3 re-expression. Knockout and the re-expression of ATF3 changed the transcription levels of multiple ferroptosis genes. In addition, results showed that overexpression of ATF3 inhibits cardiomyocyte ferroptosis triggered by erastin and RSL3. Lastly, ChIP-seq and dual luciferase activity analysis revealed ATF3 could bind to the transcription start site of Fanconi anaemia complementation group D2 (FANCD2) and increased the FANCD2 promoter activity. Furthermore, we first demonstrated that overexpression of FANCD2 exerts significant anti-ferroptosis and cardioprotective effect on AC16 cell H/R injury. ATF3 inhibits cardiomyocyte ferroptotic death in I/R injury, which might be related with regulating FANCD2. Gefitinib has been widely used as a first-generation epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) tyrosine kinase inhibitor for non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) patients with EGFR mutation. In this study, we explored the key molecules responsible for acquired Gefitinib resistance in NSCLC cells. 3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide assay was performed to analyze the Gefitinib resistance and proliferation ability of NSCLC cells. Cell proliferation was also assessed by colony formation assay. Flow cytometry was performed to analyze cell apoptosis. Wound healing assay and transwell invasion assay were performed to the migration and invasion abilities of NSCLC cells, respectively. The target relationship between microRNA-409-3p (miR-409-3p) and circular RNA mannosidase alpha class 1A member 2 (circ-MAN1A2) or twist family bHLH transcription factor 1 (TWIST1) was verified by dual-luciferase reporter assay and RNA immunoprecipitation assay. Circ-MAN1A2 level was markedly elevated in Gefitinib-resistant NSCLC cell lines and tissues. Circ-MAN1A2 interference sensitized Gefitinib-resistant NSCLC cells to Gefitinib. Furthermore, circ-MAN1A2 interference suppressed the proliferation, migration and invasion and promoted the apoptosis of Gefitinib-resistant NSCLC cells. Circ-MAN1A2 over-expression negatively regulated miR-409-3p level by directly binding to it. miR-409-3p silencing partly counteracted circ-MAN1A2 silencing-mediated anti-tumor effects in Gefitinib-resistant NSCLC cells. TWIST1 was a target of miR-409-3p, and miR-409-3p overexpression-induced anti-tumor effects in Gefitinib-resistant NSCLC cells were partly reversed by TWIST1 overexpression. Circ-MAN1A2 silencing aggravated Gefitinib-mediated inhibition of tumor growth in vivo. Abstract: CNTs/ZnOw composites were fabricated by a simple mechanical mixing method. The effects of the different CNTs and ZnOw mass fractions on the electromagnetic parameters and wave absorbing properties of the composites were studied. The complex permittivity and attenuation constant increase with increasing mass fractions of CNTs and ZnOw. However, the microwave impedance decreases with the increasing concentrations of CNTs and ZnOw. The experimental results show that 4wt% CNTs mixed with 10wt% ZnOw has the optimum microwave absorption ability with a thickness of 2.0mm. The minimum reflection loss is −37.03dB at 12.24GHz and the bandwidth corresponding to the reflection loss below −10dB is more than 4.04GHz. Compared with pure CNTs or ZnOw, it cannot only greatly reduce the mass fractions of microwave absorbing materials, but also enhance the microwave absorption properties. The results indicate that the prepared CNTs/ZnOw composites have excellent absorbing properties with thin thickness and lightweight. [Copyright &y& Elsevier]

• Family conflict (FC) was positively associated with academic burnout. • Family intimacy (FI) was negatively associated with academic burnout. • Self-control was negatively associated with academic burnout. • Self-control moderated the association of FC and FI to academic burnout. Family environment appears to have impact on academic burnout of middle school students, but the mechanism of family environment on academic burnout is still unclear. This paper examined if self-control moderates the impact of family conflict and intimacy on academic burnout among middle-school students. A total of 1,081 1st- and 2nd-year middle school students (7th and 8th graders) from Guangdong, Jiangxi, and Shaanxi provinces were surveyed using four scales. Results showed that self-control moderated the impact of family conflicts and intimacy on academic burnout in middle schoolers. Follow-up simple slope analyses indicated the negative association between family intimacy and academic burnout was greater under the condition of higher levels of self-control. And family conflict was positively related to academic burnout for participants with high and average levels of self-control, but not for participants with low levels of self-control. We confirmed that middle school students with low self-control are more likely to experience academic burnout when exposed to family environments that lack intimacy, whereas higher levels of self-control protected the students from academic burnout while living in unfavourable family environments (more conflicts, less intimacy). Sex determining region Y-box (SOX)7 is a member of the SOX family and is responsible for various developmental processes. As a tumor suppressor, decreased expression of SOX7 has been observed in several cancer types, including non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC). However, the mechanism underlying SOX7 downregulation and its role in chemoresistance in NSCLC remains poorly understood. In the present study, the inhibition of microRNA (miR)-935 increased the expression of SOX7 at the mRNA and protein levels in A549 cells. The luciferase reporter assay verified that miR-935 could directly bind to the 3′untranslated region of SOX7 mRNA to suppress its expression in A549 cells. In addition, the inhibition of miR-935 enhanced the anticancer effect of paclitaxel, i.e., induced cell growth arrest and apoptosis in A549 cells. It was further observed that the inhibition of miR-935 decreased the B cell lymphoma (Bcl)-2 and phosphorylated-RAC-α serine/threonine-protein kinase (AKT) protein levels and increased the Bcl-2 associated X, apoptosis regulator protein levels, without affecting the AKT levels in the presence of paclitaxel within A549 cells. The physiological and immune changes that occur during pregnancy are associated with worsened disease outcomes during infection and sepsis. How these perturbations exacerbate inflammation has not been explored. Here, using antibiotic treatment and fecal microbial transfers, we showed that sepsis susceptibility is driven by pregnancy-induced changes to gut microbiome in mice and humans. Integrative multiomics and genetically engineered bacteria revealed that reduced Parabacteroides merdae (P. merdae) abundance during pregnancy led to decreased formononetin (FMN) and increased macrophage death. Mechanistically, FMN inhibited macrophage pyroptosis by suppressing nuclear accumulation of hnRNPUL2 and subsequent binding to the Nlrp3 promoter. Treatment with FMN or deletion of murine hnRNPUL2 protected against septic inflammation. Intestinal abundances of P. merdae and FMN inversely correlated with the progression of septic patients. Our data reveal a microbe-immune axis that is disrupted in pregnant septic hosts, highlighting the potential of the FMN-hnRNPUL2-NLRP3 axis in providing promising therapeutic strategies for sepsis. Secondary seed dormancy (SSD) is responsible for volunteer plants in canola fields, which causes a series of problems in canola production and serves as an important trait for the environmental safety assessment of transgenic canola. A canola cultivar with strong SSD was used to establish insight into seed transcriptomes in its secondarily dormant seeds and control seeds without dormancy by RNA-seq analysis, aiming to determine the molecular ecological characterizations of SSD. A dataset (more than 4 Gb) of valid sequences was obtained from each sample, which was combined to carry out the de novo assembling. The assembled sequences consisted of 314,261 fragments with length > 100 bp, including 29,740 long transcripts of length ≥ 500 bp. Functional annotation indicated that 1,641 long transcripts could be categorized into 24 cluster of orthologous groups of proteins (COGs) and 16,515 transcripts were linked to 2,648 gene ontology (GO) terms. There were 452 long transcripts with significantly different expression identified by a threshold of > 2-fold expression change ( P < 0.001) between samples, among which 343 transcripts were unambiguously homologous to Arabidopsis genes. The plant hormones abscisic acid and gibberellins were known as the pivotal regulators of seed dormancy and germination. Although genes responsible for either biosynthesis or signaling of each hormone could be widely verified from the SSD transcriptome, theirs expression evidences failed to correlate with the induction of SSD. Based on the enriched terms of gene ontology and KEGG orthology, as well as the expression models of candidate genes of SSD, we proposed that fatty acid metabolism might implicate in SSD in canola.
