Embedded smart bearing is a kind of structural unit with the characteristics of self sensing, self diagnosis, self-adaptive and self-regulation, which is one of the development directions of high-end bearing at home and abroad. Based on Ioannides-Harris theory, the load distribution of rolling bearing is analyzed. Combined with the finite element simulation model, the influence of outer ring grooving on bearing reliability is analyzed, and the radial grooving structure of outer ring of rolling bearing is determined. According to the theoretical analysis and numerical simulation, the embedded bearing vibration monitoring system is designed by combining the vibration sensor with the bearing body. By using the bearing life testing machine, the bearing life test is carried out and the vibration signals of smart bearings with different structures are collected. The experimental results show that the amplitude of vibration signal of smart bearing is higher than that of traditional bearing pedestal monitoring method, and it can effectively monitor the running state of the bearing; compared with the structure of axial grooving, the service life of the proposed smart bearing is similar to that of the ordinary bearing, which provides a new method for the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of the rolling bearing.

Autonomous berthing technology is a crucial engineering control problem within the ship intelligence system, encompassing a series of complex operations and technologies. Firstly, this paper analyses the research on autonomous berthing technology from a bibliometric point of view in order to obtain an overview of its past and present development and to outline the importance of this technology. Secondly, a literature review is conducted on each of the four aspects of autonomous berthing technology, namely sensing technology, berthing type, control method, and evaluation method, which can help to quickly understand the main aspects of this technology. Thirdly, the ship-assisting technologies needed to achieve autonomous berthing are discussed and analysed from six aspects: dynamic collision avoidance, path planning, path tracking, heading control, tug assistance, and shore-based systems. Finally, the challenges faced by the ship autonomous berthing technology on the way of development are summarised, and future development is projected. Secondly,the advantages and disadvantages of external smart bearing and embedded intelligent bearing are summarized. It is considered that embedded structure is the main direction of future research of smart bearing. According to the requirements of rolling bearing condition monitoring and diagnosis,the current application of smart bearing sensors,such as acceleration sensors,temperature sensors,lubricating oil quality detection sensors,torque sensors,and thin film sensors,are introduced. Finally,the development trend of smart rolling bearing monitoring technology is summarized and forecasted.

The ship’s pilot can obtain the ship auxiliary information through the navigation system, when berthing system can display the parameters such as traverse speed and distance of the ship. But most of the system data show that there are insufficient precision. Taking the CORS system to obtain the location information, data Calculation of Berthing System based on Polar Coordinate Algorithm, this paper puts forward a solution to the “dead point” of the berthing and aiding system, which has a certain reference value for the design of the ship berthing assistance system.

In this study, nPd/Fes were dispersed on peanut shells‐derived alkali‐modified biochar (BCalk) to obtain BCalk‐nPd/Fe composite for overcoming the instability, agglomeration, and oxidation of nPd/Fes. Results demonstrated that the dispersion stability and thermal stability of nPd/Fes were improved and the surface passivation layer was thinned by nanoparticles loading onto the alkalized biochar. Characterization analyses revealed of the improved 2,4‐D dichlorination by BCalk‐nPd/Fe. After biochar alkalization, more Si‐O‐Si sites on BCalk responsible for supporting nZVI particles were formed and coupled with nZVI to generate Si‐O‐Fe. Hence, nPd/Fes were immobilized on BCalk, while the increased oxygen‐containing surface functional groups promoted electron transport between nPd/Fes and 2,4‐D. Therefore, the BCalk‐nPd/Fe exhibited higher dechlorination efficiency toward 2,4‐D than that of nPd/Fe and BCraw‐nPd/Fe. About 99.25% and 89.11% of the 2,4‐D removal and dechlorination, respectively, were achieved after 150 min. Kinetic studies revealed that the removal of 2,4‐D using nPd/Fe, BCraw‐nPd/Fe, and BCalk‐nPd/Fe fitted well in the Langmuir–Hinshelwood kinetic model, and the order of rate constants was as follows: BCalk‐nPd/Fe > BCraw‐nPd/Fe > nPd/Fe. This study suggested that the prepared composites promoted detoxification and harmlessness of 2,4‐D contaminated wastewater and exhibited promising prospect in the efficient treatment of wastewater containing chlorinated organics. White-box block cipher (WBC) has been proposed by Chow et al. to prevent the secret key to be extracted from its implementation in an untrusted context. A pivotal technique behind WBC is to convert the iterated round functions into a series of look-up tables (LUTs) with encodings. The construction of encoded LUTs consists of matrix operations, such as multiplication and inversion. The widely-used matrix libraries in applications, such as open-source NTL and M4RI, are primarily designed for large dimensional matrix operations. Therefore, they might not be suitable for WBC implementations which are mainly based on small-scale matrices and vectors. In this paper, we propose a new matrix library named WBMatrix for the optimization of WBC implementations. WBMatrix reduces the operating steps of multiplication and simultaneously generates pairwise invertible matrices as encodings. The performance comparison supports that WBMatrix improves the table construction and encryption phases on Intel x86 and ARMv8 platforms. Moreover, WBMatrix also boosts the initialization and encryption phases of LowMC/LowMC-M block ciphers and enhances the performance for the generation of key-dependent Sbox. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
