Due to the characteristics of clean and efficient hydrogen energy and its wide application, hydropower hydrogen production has become one of the potential technical means to reduce the new energy abandonment rate, and its economic benefits are analyzed in this paper. After exploring the operation characteristics of hydropower plants, the paper examines the characteristics of water and energy abandonment in combination with the calculation method of hydropower plant power abandonment, mathematically models the relevant equipment of hydropower hydrogen generation and consumption mode, and establishes a hydrogen storage and consumption model considering the capacity of storage. Based on the economic index of hydropower hydrogen production, the storage capacity of the hydropower hydrogen consumption mode is configured by combining the two-layer planning algorithm. Finally, a simulation experiment is carried out to analyze the hydropower hydrogen consumption model established in the paper and explore the optimal storage settings for hydropower hydrogen consumption. The results show that the optimal energy storage capacity of the demonstration base is 1MWh kWh cost of electricity is 0.113 yuan/kWh respectively, the whole life cycle NPV is the largest, is 7.39×106 yuan, the daily profit including hydrogen sales, electricity sales, and energy sales is about 463,110,000 yuan, and the incremental daily profit is about 144,980,000 yuan. Based on this study, we aim to promote the sustainable development of the new energy economy.

Osteoarthritis (OA) is a degenerative disease frequently encountered clinically, which can lead to loss of joint function in the late stage and is associated with a high disability rate. There is still no available cure for OA. Therefore, early diagnosis and precise treatment are the key to improving the therapeutic effect. Being an interdisciplinary research focus, artificial intelligence (AI) has been increasingly used in the diagnosis and treatment of OA recently, as it improves the diagnostic accuracy as well as clinical treatment and prognosis of OA. We summarized and systematically reviewed the literature on the application of AI in the diagnosis and treatment of OA, in which the application potential in assisting imaging diagnosis, surgical treatment, progression prediction and postoperative rehabilitation of OA was indicated, yet some limitations including non-standardized data collection and unstable algorithmic system were also identified. In the future, it is expected to establish a standardized clinical sample database and continuously optimize the algorithmic model, so as to better incorporate AI technologies in the diagnosis and treatment process of OA.

The Yichang area located at the exit of the Three Gorges is covered with a set of thick Quaternary gravel layers, recording the evolution of the paleoenvironment and the formation of the Yangtze River. However, there has been a great dispute over the time when the Yangtze River materials in the upper reaches entered the western margin of the Jianghan Basin. K-feldspar is a common mineral in fluvial sediments, and its geochemical element compositions are significantly different in different regions, making it an ideal mineral for the fluvial provenance study. In this case, we utilized the laser ablation inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (LA-ICP-MS) to analyze the elementary compositions of detrital K-feldspar grains (n=340) on the gravel layers of the Yichang area and the upper reaches of the Yangtze River. In combination of principal component analysis (PCA) with formation sedimentary ages of gravel layers, we discussed the time when they established the provenance connection. The results show that the provenance connection has been established since 1.15 Ma and a new provenance area appeared at 0.75 Ma, suggesting that the Yangtze River drainage was strongly influenced by the East and South Asian summer monsoon during the period of 1.2~0.7 Ma.

YB2C2 is a novel ultra-high temperature ceramic material with high damage tolerance. In this work, the synthesis mechanism, crystal structure, electronic structure, elastic properties and thermal shock resistance of YB2C2 were systematically investigated through experiments and calculations. It was determined by differential scanning calorimetry with the heating rate of 10°C/min that YB2C2 was formed by the reaction of YB2C and C at about 1202°C, and became the main phase at 1450°C. The space group of YB2C2 was determined to be P4/mbm by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, Rietveld refinement and first-principles calculations for the first time. The lattice constants are a = b = 0.5351 nm and c = 0.3561 nm. The atom positions are as follows: Y is located at 2a (0, 0, 0), B is located 4 h (0.133, 0.633, 0.5) and C is located at 4 h (0.662, 0.162, 0.5). The chemical bonding of YB2C2 displayed sharp anisotropy, with strong B-C bond within the B2C2 nets, and weak Y-B/Y-C bond between Y atom layers and B2C2 nets. Additionally, YB2C2 exhibited abnormal thermal shock resistance when the thermal shock temperature exceeded 800°C, with the residual flexural strength at 1300°C being more than 70% of the strength at room temperature.
