4. Signed Graph Neural Ordinary Differential Equation for Modeling Continuous-time Dynamics

Abstract

Modeling continuous-time dynamics constitutes a foundational challenge, and uncovering inter-component correlations within complex systems holds promise for enhancing the efficacy of dynamic modeling. The prevailing approach of integrating graph neural networks with ordinary differential equations has demonstrated promising performance. However, they disregard the crucial signed information intrinsic to graphs, impeding their capacity to accurately capture real-world phenomena and leading to subpar outcomes. In response, we introduce a novel approach: a signed graph neural ordinary differential equation, adeptly addressing the limitations of miscapturing signed information. Our proposed solution boasts both flexibility and efficiency. To substantiate its effectiveness, we seamlessly integrate our devised strategies into three preeminent graph-based dynamic modeling frameworks: graph neural ordinary differential equations, graph neural controlled differential equations, and graph recurrent neural networks. Rigorous assessments encompass three intricate dynamic scenarios from physics and biology, as well as scrutiny across four authentic real-world traffic datasets. Remarkably outperforming the trio of baselines, empirical results underscore the substantial performance enhancements facilitated by our proposed approach.Our code can be found at https://github.com/beautyonce/SGODE., Comment: AAAI 2024

Abstract

This article aims to provide a review of the domestic and foreign studies on the quality indicators for evaluating the psychiatric nursing care in recent years. According to Donabedian model， the research progress of quality indicators for evaluating the psychiatric nursing care were described from the three dimensions of structure quality， process quality and outcome quality. This paper summarizes the status of the research， points out the shortcomings of existing research， and provides references for the future research on the quality indicators for evaluating the psychiatric nursing care.

Abstract

Objective: To investigate the effects of MBSR(mindfulness-based stress reduction)-based mental rehabilitation intervention on mood disorders and sleep status of patients with mild to moderate Alzheimer′s disease (AD) in long-term hospital during closed management of COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: A total of 70 patients with mild to moderate AD who were admitted to hospital before January 2020 were enrolled. All patients received an 8-week psychological rehabilitation intervention based on MBSR from February 11, 2020 to April 30, 2020. Prior to the intervention, general patient data were collected, including Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA), The 15-item Geriatric Depression Scale(GDS-15) and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI) and other assessment scales were used for initial assessment of each enrolled patient, and re-assessment was performed at the end of the 8-week intervention. After the initial assessment, correlation analysis was conducted between general patient data and the results of the initial assessment in patients. Results: It revealed that anxiety, depression, sleep status of patients were negatively correlated with their education level (R0.4; P≤0.01); GDS, HAMA and PSQI scores of the patients were significantly improved after 8 weeks of intervention compared with the initial evaluation(P

ObjectiveTo investigate the current status of knowledge， attitude and practice of nurses in mental health hospitals on the prevention and control of nosocomial infections， and to analyze the influencing factors.MethodsFrom June to August 2020， 402 clinical nurses from 8 mental health hospitals in a city were enrolled using simple random sampling method， and were assessed using a self-compiled knowledge-attitude-practice questionnaire related to the nosocomial infection prevention and control， thereafter， the influencing factors were screened.ResultsThe scores of knowledge， attitude and practice dimensions in relation to the nosocomial infection prevention and control among the nurses were （8.43±1.84）， （76.01±5.70） and （57.42±3.75）， respectively.
