Background Erythropoietin (EPO) hypo-responsiveness is one of the main reasons for the low compliance rate of renal anemia in maintenance hemodialysis (MHD) patients, and it is also an independent risk factor for death in MHD patients. Early identification and early intervention is the key to improve prognosis. Blood inflammatory markers may be associated with EPO hypo-responsiveness in MHD patients. Objective To explore the correlation between systemic immune-inflammation index (SII) and EPO hypo-responsiveness in MHD patients. Methods A total of 180 patients who underwent regular MHD at the hemodialysis center of Henan Province Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the study objects. EPO resistance index (ERI) was used to evaluate the EPO reactivity of the patients, and they were divided into EPO hypo-responsiveness group and non-EPO hypo-responsiveness group according to the ERI value. The general data and laboratory index data of the two groups were compared. Pearson correlation analysis and Spearman rank correlation analysis were used to assess the correlation of ERI with other various indicators. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was used to explore the independent correlation factors of EPO hypo-responsiveness in MHD patients. The predictive value of SII for EPO hypo-responsiveness in MHD patients was analyzed using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves. Results A total of 180 patients with MHD were included, including 104 males (57.8%) and 76 females (42.2%), aged (56.1±8.6) years. There were 52 cases (28.9%) in EPO hypo-responsiveness group and 128 cases (71.1%) in non-EPO hypo-responsiveness group. In order to analyze the impact of the waste heat utilization environment in phosphate compound fertilizer industrial production on the corrosion behavior of steam turbine rotors, various methods such as the mass loss method, laser scanning confocal microscopy (CLSM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy dispersive spectrometer (EDS), X-ray diffractometer (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) and electrochemical tests were employed. The corrosion behavior and patterns of the steam turbine rotor material, 2Cr-1Ni-1.2Mo-0.2V steel in 120 mmol/L NH4H2PO4 solution at an external temperature of 25 ℃ were investigated. Results showed that 2Cr-1Ni-1.2Mo-0.2V steel underwent uniform corrosion. The corrosion rate first rapidly decreased and then slowly decreased, gradually stabilizing towards 0.2 mm/a. When the NH4H2PO4 concentration was 120 mmol/L and the temperature was 25 ℃, the service life of 2Cr-1Ni-1.2Mo-0.2V steel was determined to be 7.5 a. The corrosion product film of 2Cr-1Ni-1.2Mo-0.2V steel in NH4H2PO4 solution was composed of Fe3(PO4)2, FePO4, Fe(OH)3, FeOOH, and Fe3O4. As the immersion time prolonged, the coverage, compactness and thickness of the corrosion product film were observed to increase, and Cr was found to be enriched in the corrosion product film, thereby enhancing the corrosion resistance of 2Cr-1Ni-1.2Mo-0.2V steel.

Composite sandwich structures are sensitive to low velocity impact (LVI) occasions and the induced damage significantly reduces the residual load-bearing capacity of material structures. In this work, a nonlinear finite element (FE) model is proposed to investigate the buckling and damage behavior of aluminum honeycomb sandwich structures with CFRP face sheets under compression-after-impact (CAI). Johnson-Cook model is applied to identify the damage of aluminum honeycomb core; cohesive elements governed by bilinear traction-separation constitutive model are implemented to describe the inter-laminar delamination induced by LVI and CAI. The numerical results are in good agreement with the available experimental data, which verifies the effectiveness of the proposed FE model. The effects of impact energy and core parameters on the impact performance and residual compressive strength of sandwich structures are analyzed in detail and the energy absorption properties during the corresponding loading are examined. The numerical results show that slight impact damage can also greatly reduce the CAI strength.
