Search

Gaze recognition can significantly reduce the amount of eye movement data for a better understanding of cognitive and visual processing. Gaze recognition is an essential precondition for eye-based interaction applications in virtual reality. However, the three-dimensional characteristics of virtual reality environments also pose new challenges to existing recognition algorithms. Based on seven evaluation metrics and the Overall score (the mean of the seven normalized metric values), we obtain optimal parameters of three existing recognition algorithms (Velocity-Threshold Identification, Dispersion-Threshold Identification, and Velocity & Dispersion-Threshold Identification) and our modified Velocity & Dispersion-Threshold Identification algorithm. We compare the performance of these four algorithms with optimal parameters. The results show that our modified Velocity & Dispersion-Threshold Identification performs the best. The impact of interface complexity on classification results is also preliminarily explored. The results show that the algorithms are not sensitive to interface complexity.

In this work, we systematically study the mass spectrum of the fully heavy tetraquark in an extended chromomagnetic model, which includes both color and chromomagnetic interactions. Numerical results indicate that the energy level is mainly determined by the color interaction, which favors the color-sextet $\ket{(QQ)^{6_{c}}(\bar{Q}\bar{Q})^{\bar{6}_{c}}}$ configuration over the color-triplet $\ket{(QQ)^{\bar{3}_{c}}(\bar{Q}\bar{Q})^{3_{c}}}$ one. The chromomagnetic interaction mixes the two color configurations and gives small splitting. The ground state is always dominated by the color-sextet configuration. We find no stable state below the lowest heavy quarkonium pair thresholds. Most states may be wide since they have at least one $S$-wave decay channel into two $S$-wave mesons. One possible narrow state is the $1^{+}$ $bb\bar{b}\bar{c}$ state with a mass $15719.1~\text{MeV}$. It is just above the $\eta_{b}\bar{B}_{c}$ threshold. But this channel is forbidden because of the conservation of the angular momentum and parity., Comment: 17 pages, 4 figures

With an extended quark pair creation model we systematically study the OZI-allowed three body open flavor decays of higher vector charmonium and bottomonium states. We obtain that the $BB^*\pi$ and $B^*B^*\pi$ partial decay widths of $\Upsilon(10860)$ are consistent with experiment, and the corresponding partial decay widths of $\Upsilon(11020)$ can reach up to 2$\sim$3 MeV. Recently, the LHCb Collaboration reported three $P_c$ states in the ${J/\psi}p$ channel. We systematically study the mass spectrum of the hidden charm pentaquark in the framework of an extended chromomagnetic model. For the $nnnc\bar{c}$ pentaquark with $I=1/2$, we find that (i) the lowest state is $P_{c}(4327.0,1/2,1/2^{-})$ [We use $P_{c}(m,I,J^{P})$ to denote the $nnnc\bar{c}$ pentaquark], which corresponds to the $P_{c}(4312)$. Its dominant decay mode is $\Lambda_{c}\bar{D}^{*}$. (ii) We find two states in the vicinity of $P_{c}(4380)$. The first one is $P_{c}(4367.4,1/2,3/2^{-})$ and decays dominantly to $N{J/\psi}$ and $\Lambda_{c}\bar{D}^{*}$. The other one is $P_{c}(4372.4,1/2,1/2^{-})$. Its dominant decay mode is $\Lambda_{c}\bar{D}$, and its partial decay width of $N\eta_{c}$ channel is comparable to that of $N{J/\psi}$. (iii) In higher mass region, we find $P_{c}(4476.3,1/2,3/2^{-})$ and $P_{c}(4480.9,1/2,1/2^{-})$, which correspond to $P_{c}(4440)$ and $P_{c}(4457)$. In the open charm channels, both of them decay dominantly to the $\Lambda_{c}\bar{D}^{*}$. (iv) We predict two states above $4.5~\text{GeV}$, namely $P_{c}(4524.5,1/2,3/2^{-})$ and $P_{c}(4546.0,1/2,5/2^{-})$. The masses of the $nnnc\bar{c}$ state with $I=3/2$ are all over $4.6~\text{GeV}$. Employing the relativized quark model and the quark-interchange model, we investigate the decay of the charged heavy quarkonium-like states $Z_c(3900)$, $Z_c(4020)$, $Z_c(4430)$, $Z_b(10610)$ and $Z_b(10650)$ into the ground and radially excited heavy quarkonia via emitting a pion meson. The $Z_c$ and $Z_b$ states are assumed to be hadronic molecules composed of open-flavor heavy mesons. The calculated decay ratios can be compared with the experimental data, which are useful in judging whether the molecule state assignment for the corresponding $Z_c$ or $Z_b$ state is reasonable or not. In the present work, we study the OZI-allowed three body open flavor decay properties of higher vector charmonium and bottomonium states with an extended quark pair creation model. For the bottomonium system, we get that (i) the $BB\pi$ and $B^*B^*\pi$ partial decay widths of the $\Upsilon(5S)$ state are consistent with the experiment, and the $BB^*\pi$ partial decay width of the $\Upsilon(5S)$ state is smaller but very close to the Belle's experiment. Meanwhile, (ii) the $BB^*\pi$ and $B^*B^*\pi$ decay widths of $\Upsilon(11020)$ can reachs $2\sim3$ MeV. In addition, (iii) for the most of higher vector charmonium states, the partial decay widths of the $DD^*\pi$ and $D^*D^*\pi$ modes can reach up to several MeV, which may be observed in future experiments., Comment: 12 pages, 4 figures; revised version accepted by PRD

We extend the chromomagnetic model by further considering the effect of color interaction. The effective mass parameters between quark pairs ($m_{qq}$ or $m_{q\bar{q}}$) are introduced to account both the effective quark masses and the color interaction between the two quarks. Using the experimental masses of hadrons, the quark pair parameters are determined between the light quark pairs and the light-heavy quark pairs. Then the parameters of heavy quark pairs ($cc$, $cb$, $bb$) are estimated based on simple quark model assumption. We calculate all masses of doubly and triply heavy-quark baryons. The newly discovered doubly charmed baryon $\Xi_{cc}$ fits into the model with an error of 12 MeV., Comment: Correct some grammar errors and add some references

We have systematically investigated the decuplet (T) to octet (B) baryon ($T\rightarrow B\gamma$) transition magnetic moments to the next-to-next-to-leading order and electric quadruple moments to the next-to-leading order in the framework of the heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory. Our calculation includes the contributions from both the intermediate decuplet and octet baryon states in the loops. Our results show reasonably good convergence of the chiral expansion and agreement with the experimental data. We have systematically investigated the magnetic moments and magnetic form factors of the decuplet baryons to the next-to-next-leading order in the framework of the heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory. Our calculation includes the contributions from both the intermediate decuplet and octet baryon states in the loops. We also calculate the charge and magnetic dipole form factors of the decuplet baryons. With the spin rearrangement, we have performed a comprehensive investigation of the decay patterns of the S-wave tetraquarks and P-wave tetraquarks where the P-wave excitation exists either between the diquark and anti-diquark pair or inside the diquark. Especially, we compare the decay patterns of $Y(4260)$ with different inner structures such as the conventional charmonium, the molecule, the P-wave tetraquark and the hybrid charmonium. We notice the $J/\psi \pi\pi$ mode is suppressed in the heavy quark symmetry limit if $Y(4260)$ is a molecular state. Moreover the hybrid charmonium and hidden-charm tetraquark have very similar decay patterns. Both of them decay into the $J/\psi \pi\pi$ and open charm modes easily. We also discuss the decay patterns of $X(3872)$, $Y(4360)$, and several charged states such as $Z_c(4020)$. The $h_c\pi^{\pm}$ decay mode disfavors the tetraquark assumption of $Z_c(4020)$., Comment: 35 pages, 7 tables

We have investigated the electromagnetic decays of the antitriplet and sextet charmed baryon systems with $J^P= \frac{1}{2}^+, \frac{3}{2}^+$ in the framework of the heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory. We first construct the chiral Lagrangians at $O(p^2)$ and $O(p^3)$. Then we calculate the electromagnetic (EM) decay amplitudes of the charmed baryon systems up to $O(p^3)$. With the help of the quark model, we estimate the low energy constants. The numerical results of the EM decay widths show good convergence of the chiral expansion. We notice that the two neutral EM decay processes $\Xi_c'^0\rightarrow\gamma+\Xi_c^0$ and ${\Xi_c^*}'^0\rightarrow\gamma+\Xi_c^0$ are strongly suppressed by the SU(3) U-spin flavor symmetry. With the same formalism, we also estimate the EM decay widths of the bottomed baryons. The EM decay widths of the heavy baryons may be measured at facilities such as LHCb and JPARC. The explicit chiral structures of the heavy baryon decay amplitudes derived in this work may be useful to the possible chiral extrapolations of the future lattice simulations of these EM decay amplitudes.

Based on an extended NJL model including heavy quark flavors, we calculate the form factors of pseudo-scalar and vector mesons. After take into account of the vector-meson-dominance effect which introduce a form factor correction to the quark vector coupling vertices, the form factors and electric radii of $\pi^+$ and $K^+$ of pseudo-scalar meson in light flavor sector fit the experimental data well. Also the magnetic moments of light vector meson $\rho^+$ and $K^{*+}$ are comparable with other theoretical calculation. The form factors in light-heavy flavor sector are presented to confront with future experiments or theoretical calculations.

Compared with the charmed baryons, the bottom baryons are not very well known, either experimentally or theoretically. In this paper, we investigate the dipion strong decays of the P-wave and D-wave excited bottom baryons in the framework of the QPC model. We investigate the antitriplet and sextet heavy baryon systems with $J^P= \frac{1}{2}^+, \frac{3}{2}^+$ in the framework of the heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory. We first calculate the chiral corrections to the heavy baryon mass from the SU(3) flavor breaking effect up to $O(p^3)$. Then we extend the same formalism to calculate the chiral corrections to the axial charges of the heavy baryons in the isospin symmetry limit.

In a previous work, we proposed an extended Nambu--Jona-Lasinio (NJL) model including heavy quark flavors. In this work, we will calculate strong and radiative decays of vector mesons in this extended NJL model, including light $\rho$, $\omega$, $K^*$, $\phi$ and heavy $D^*$, $D^*_s$, $B^*$, $B^*_s$.

After constructing the possible $J^P=0^-, 0^+, 1^-$ and $1^+$ $QQ\bar{q}\bar{q}$ tetraquark interpolating currents in a systematic way, we investigate the two-point correlation functions and extract the corresponding masses with the QCD sum rule approach. We study the $QQ\bar{q}\bar{q}$, $QQ\bar{q}\bar{s}$ and $QQ\bar{s}\bar{s}$ systems with various isospins $I=0, 1/2, 1$. Our numerical analysis indicates that the masses of doubly-bottomed tetraquark states are below the threshold of the two bottom mesons, two bottom baryons and one doubly bottomed baryon plus one anti-nucleon. Very probably these doubly-bottomed tetraquark states are stable., Comment: 37 pages, 2 figures

We propose an extended Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model to include the heavy mesons with the heavy quark symmetry. The quark current-current interaction is generalized to include the heavy quark currents. In order to comply with the heavy quark spin symmetry at the heavy quark limit, the quark mass dependence of the interaction strength is introduced. The light and heavy pseudo-scalar and vector meson, their masses and the weak decay constants, are calculated in the unified frame.

We study the possible exotic states with $J^{PC} = 0^{+-}$ using the tetraquark interpolating currents with the QCD sum rule approach. The extracted masses are around 4.85 GeV for the charmonium-like states and 11.25 GeV for the bottomomium-like states. There is no working region for the light tetraquark currents, which implies the light $0^{+-}$ state may not exist below 2 GeV., Comment: 13 pages, 11 figures, 2 tables

The open-flavor strong decays are studied based on the interaction of potential quark model. The decay process is related to the s-channel contribution of the same scalar confinment and one-gluon-exchange(OGE) interaction in the quark model. After we adopt the prescription of massive gluons in time-like region from the lattice calculation, the approximation of four-fermion interaction is applied. The numerical calculation is performed to the meson decays in $u$, $d$, $s$ light flavor sector. The analysis of the $D/S$ ratios of $b_1\rightarrow \omega \pi$ and $a_1\rightarrow \rho \pi$ show that the scalar interaction should be dominant in the open-flavor decays.

Some charmonium-like resonances such as X(3872) can be interpreted as possible $D^{(*)}D^{(*)}$ molecular states. Within the quark model, we study the structure of such molecular states and the similar $B^{(*)}B^{(*)}$ molecular states by taking into account of the light meson exchange ($\pi$, $\eta$, $\rho$, $\omega$ and $\sigma$) between two light quarks from different mesons.

We perform a systematic study of the possible loosely bound states composed of two charmed baryons or a charmed baryon and an anti-charmed baryon within the framework of the one boson exchange (OBE) model. We consider not only the $\pi$ exchange but also the $\eta$, $\rho$, $\omega$, $\phi$ and $\sigma$ exchanges. The $S-D$ mixing effects for the spin-triplets are also taken into account. With the derived effective potentials, we calculate the binding energies and root-mean-square (RMS) radii for the systems $\Lambda_c\Lambda_c(\bar{\Lambda}_c)$, $\Xi_c\Xi_c(\bar{\Xi}_c)$, $\Sigma_c\Sigma_c(\bar{\Sigma}_c)$, $\Xi_c^\prime\Xi_c^\prime(\bar{\Xi}_c^\prime)$ and $\Omega_c\Omega_c(\bar{\Omega}_c)$. Our numerical results indicate that: (1) the H-dibaryon-like state $\Lambda_c\Lambda_c$ does not exist; (2) there may exist four loosely bound deuteron-like states $\Xi_c\Xi_c$ and $\Xi_c^\prime\Xi_c^\prime$ with small binding energies and large RMS radii., Comment: 17 pages, 32 figures

We study the fine splitting in charmonium spectrum in quark model with the channel coupling effect, including $DD$, $DD^*$, $D^*D^*$ and $D_sD_s$, $D_sD_s^*$, $D_s^*D_s^*$ channels. The interaction for channel coupling is constructed from the current-current Lagrangian related to the color confinement and the one-gluon exchange potentials. By adopting the massive gluon propagator from the lattice calculation in the nonperturbative region, the coupling interaction is further simplified to the four-fermion interaction. We study the possible heavy molecular states composed of a pair of charm mesons in the H and S doublets. Since the P-wave charm-strange mesons $D_{s0}(2317)$ and $D_{s1}(2460)$ are extremely narrow, the future experimental observation of the possible heavy molecular states composed of $D_s/D_s^\ast$ and $D_{s0}(2317)/D_{s1}(2460)$ may be feasible if they really exist. Especially the possible $J^{PC}=1^{--}$ states may be searched for via the initial state radiation technique., Comment: 42 pages, 4 tables, 31 figures. The P-wave charm-strange mesons $D_{s0}(2317)$ and $D_{s1}(2460)$ lie below the $DK$ and $D^\ast K$ threshold respectively. They are extremely narrow because their strong decays violate the isospin symmetry. We study the possible heavy molecular states composed of a pair of excited charm strange mesons. The recently observed X(3872) resonance, which is difficult to be assigned a conventional $c\bar{c}$ charmonium state in the quark model, may be interpreted as a molecular state. Such a molecular state is a hidden flavor four quark state because of its charmonium-like quantum numbers. The s-channel one gluon exchange is an interaction which only acts in the hidden flavor multi-quark system. In this paper, we will study the X(3872) and other similiar hidden flavor molecular states in a quark model by taking into account of the s-channel one gluon exchange interaction.

In this paper we investigate the strong decays of the two newly observed bottom-strange mesons $B_{s1}(5830)$ and $B_{s2}^*(5840)$ in the framework of the quark pair creation model. The two-body strong decay widths of $B_{s1}(5830)^0\to B^{*+}K^-$ and $B_{s2}^*(5840)^0\to B^+K^-, B^{*+}K^-$ are calculated by considering $B_{s1}(5830)$ to be a mixture between $|^1P_1>$ and $|^3P_1>$ states, and $B_{s2}^*(5840)$ to be a $|^3P_2>$ state. The double pion decay of $B_{s1}(5830)$ and $B_{s2}^*(5840)$ is supposed to occur via the intermediate state $\sigma$ and $f_0(980)$. Although the double pion decay widths of $B_{s1}(5830)$ and $B_{s2}^*(5840)$ are smaller than the two-body strong decay widths of $B_{s1}(5830)$ and $B_{s2}^*(5840)$, one suggests future experiments to search the double pion decays of $B_{s1}(5830)$ and $B_{s2}^*(5840)$ due to their sizable decay widths., Comment: 9 pages, 8 figures and 6 tables. Stimulated by recent observations of the excited bottom-strange mesons $B_{s1}$ and $B_{s2}^*$, we calculate the semileptonic decays $B_{s0}, B_{s1}^{\prime}, B_{s1}, B_{s2}^*\to [D_s(1968), D_{s}^*(2112), D_{sJ}(2317), D_{sJ}(2460)]\ell\bar{\nu}$, which is relevant for the exploration of the potential of searching these semileptonic decays in experiment., Comment: 11 pages, 3 figures, 9 tables.
