Very metal-poor (VMP) stars record the signatures of early accreted galaxies, making them essential tools for unraveling the early stages of Galaxy formation. Understanding the origin of VMP stars requires comprehensive studies of their chemical compositions and kinematics, which are currently lacking. Hence, we conduct a chemodynamical analysis of 352 VMP stars selected from one of the largest uniform high-resolution VMP star samples, jointly obtained from LAMOST and Subaru. We apply a friends-of-friends clustering algorithm to the master catalog of this high-resolution sample, which consists of 5778 VMP stars. It results in 131 dynamically tagged groups with 89 associated with known substructures in the Milky Way, including Gaia-Sausage-Enceladus (GSE), Thamnos, Helmi streams, Sequoia, Wukong, Pontus, and the very metal-poor disk (VMPD). Our findings are: (i) the VMPD shows lower Zn abundances than the rest, which indicates that it could be a relic of small stellar systems; (ii) Sequoia shows moderately high r-process abundances; (iii) Helmi streams show deficiencies in carbon and light neutron-capture elements; (iv) the fraction of carbon-enhanced metal-poor stars with no enhancement in heavy elements (CEMP-no stars) seems low in the VMPD and the Helmi streams; and (v) a subgroup in GSE exhibits a very high fraction of r-process enhanced stars, with four out of five showing [Eu/Fe]> +1.0. The abundance patterns of other elements in VMP substructures largely match the whole VMP sample. We also study large-scale correlations between abundance ratios and kinematics without classifying stars into substructures, but it does not yield significant correlations once the overall chemical evolution is considered for most elements., Comment: 30 pages, 24 figures, published in ApJ

The variational quantum eigensolver (VQE) framework has been instrumental in advancing near-term quantum algorithms. However, parameter optimization remains a significant bottleneck for VQE, requiring a large number of measurements for successful algorithm execution. In this paper, we propose sequential optimization with approximate parabola (SOAP) as an efficient and robust optimizer specifically designed for parameter optimization of the unitary coupled-cluster ansatz on quantum computers. SOAP leverages sequential optimization and approximates the energy landscape as quadratic functions, minimizing the number of energy evaluations required to optimize each parameter. To capture parameter correlations, SOAP incorporates the average direction from the previous iteration into the optimization direction set. Numerical benchmark studies on molecular systems demonstrate that SOAP achieves significantly faster convergence and greater robustness to noise compared to traditional optimization methods. Furthermore, numerical simulations up to 20 qubits reveal that SOAP scales well with the number of parameters in the ansatz. The exceptional performance of SOAP is further validated through experiments on a superconducting quantum computer using a 2-qubit model system.

The presence of $Gaia$ DR3 provides a large sample of stars with complete 6D information, offering a fertile ground for the exploration of stellar objects that were accreted to the Milky Way through ancient merger events. In this study, we developed a deep learning methodology to identify ex-situ stars within the $Gaia$ DR3 catalogue. After two phases of training, our neural network (NN) model was capable of performing binary classification of stars based on input data consisting of 3D position and velocity, as well as actions. From the target sample of 27 085 748 stars, our NN model managed to identify 160 146 ex-situ stars. The metallicity distribution suggests that this ex-situ sample comprises multiple components but appears to be predominated by the Gaia-Sausage-Enceladus. We identified member stars of the Magellanic Clouds, Sagittarius, and 20 globular clusters throughout our examination. Furthermore, an extensive group of member stars from Gaia-Sausage-Enceladus, Thamnos, Sequoia, Helmi streams, Wukong, and Pontus were meticulously selected, constituting an ideal sample for the comprehensive study of substructures. Finally, we conducted a preliminary estimation to determine the proportions of ex-situ stars in the thin disc, thick disc, and halo, which resulted in percentages of 0.1%, 1.6%, and 63.2%, respectively. As the vertical height from the Galactic disc and distance from the Galactic centre increased, there was a corresponding upward trend in the ex-situ fraction of the target sample., Comment: Accepted for publication in MNRAS

The Milky Way has undergone significant transformations in its early history, characterised by violent mergers and the accretion of satellite galaxies. Among these events, the infall of the satellite galaxy Gaia-Enceladus/Sausage is recognised as the last major merger event, fundamentally altering the evolution of the Milky Way and shaping its chemo-dynamical structure. However, recent observational evidence suggests that the Milky Way remains undergone notable events of star formation in the past 4 Gyr, which is thought to be triggered by the perturbations from Sagittarius dwarf galaxy (Sgr). Here we report chemical signatures of the Sgr accretion event in the past 4 Gyr, using the [Fe/H] and [O/Fe] ratios in the thin disc, which is reported for the first time. It reveals that the previously discovered V-shape structure of age-[Fe/H] relation varies across different Galactic locations and has rich substructures. Interestingly, we discover a discontinuous structure at z$_{\rm max}$ $<$ 0.3 kpc, interrupted by a recent burst of star formation from 4 Gyr to 2 Gyr ago. In this episode, we find a significant rise in oxygen abundance leading to a distinct [O/Fe] gradient, contributing to the formation of young O-rich stars. Combined with the simulated star formation history and chemical abundance of Sgr, we suggest that the Sgr is an important actor in the discontinuous chemical evolution of the Milky Way disc., Comment: 17 pages, 15 figures. Transit spectroscopy is the most frequently used technique to reveal the atmospheric properties of exoplanets, while that at high resolution has the advantage to resolve the small Doppler shift of spectral lines, and the trace signal of the exoplanet atmosphere can be separately extracted. We obtain the transmission spectra of the extrasolar planet WASP-85Ab, a hot Jupiter in a 2.655-day orbit around a G5, V=11.2 mag host star, observed by high-resolution spectrograph ESPRESSO at the Very Large Telescope array for three transits. We present an analysis of the Rossiter-McLaughlin effect on WASP-85A, and determine a spin-orbit angle ${\lambda = -16.155^{\circ}}^{+2.916}_{-2.879}$, suggesting that the planet is in an almost aligned orbit. Combining the transmission spectra of three nights, we tentatively detected H$\alpha$ and Ca II absorption with $\gtrapprox 3\sigma$ via direct visual inspection of the transmission spectra with the Center-to-Limb variation and the Rossiter-McLaughlin effects removed, which still remain visible after excluding the cores of these strong lines with a 0.1 A mask. These spectral signals seems likely to origin from the planetary atmosphere, but we can not fully exclude their stellar origins. Via the cross-correlation analysis of a set of atoms and molecules, Li I is marginally detected at $\sim4\sigma$ level, suggesting that Li might be present in the atmosphere of WASP-85Ab., Comment: Accepted for publication in A&A. 18 pages, 17 figures

The Stellar Abundances and Galactic Evolution Survey (SAGES) of the northern sky is a specifically-designed multi-band photometric survey aiming to provide reliable stellar parameters with accuracy comparable to those from low-resolution optical spectra. It was carried out with the 2.3-m Bok telescope of Steward Observatory and three other telescopes. The observations in the $u_s$ and $v_s$ passband produced over 36,092 frames of images in total, covering a sky area of $\sim9960$ degree$^2$. The median survey completeness of all observing fields for the two bands are of $u_{\rm s}=20.4$ mag and $v_s=20.3$ mag, respectively, while the limiting magnitudes with signal-to-noise ratio (S/N) of 100 are $u_s\sim17$ mag and $v_s\sim18$ mag, correspondingly. We combined our catalog with the data release 1 (DR1) of the first of Panoramic Survey Telescope And Rapid Response System (Pan-STARRS1, PS1) catalog, and obtained a total of 48,553,987 sources which have at least one photometric measurement in each of the SAGES $u_s$ and $v_s$ and PS1 $grizy$ passbands, which is the DR1 of SAGES and it will be released in our paper. We compare our $gri$ point-source photometry with those of PS1 and found an RMS scatter of $\sim2$% in difference of PS1 and SAGES for the same band. We estimated an internal photometric precision of SAGES to be on the order of $\sim1$%. Astrometric precision is better than $0^{\prime\prime}.2$ based on comparison with the DR1 of Gaia mission. Ultra-hot Jupiters (UHJs) possess the most extreme environments among various types of exoplanets, making them ideal laboratories to study the chemical composition and kinetics properties of exoplanet atmosphere with high-resolution spectroscopy (HRS). It has the advantage of resolving the tiny Doppler shift and weak signal from exoplanet atmosphere and has helped to detect dozens of heavy elements in UHJs including KELT-9b, WASP-76b, WASP-121b. MASCARA-4b is a 2.8-day UHJ with an equilibrium temperature of $\sim2250$ K, which is expected to contain heavy elements detectable with VLT. In this letter, we present a survey of atoms/ions in the atmosphere of the MASCARA-4b, using the two VLT/ESPRESSO transits data. Cross-correlation analyses are performed on the obtained transmission spectra at each exposure with the template spectra generated by petitRADTRANS for atoms/ions from element Li to U. We confirm the previous detection of Mg, Ca, Cr and Fe and report the detection of Rb, Sm, Ti+ and Ba+ with peak signal-to-noise ratios (SNRs) $>$ 5. We report a tentative detection of Sc+, with peak SNRs $\sim$6 but deviating from the estimated position. The most interesting discovery is the first-time detection of elements Rb and Sm in an exoplanet. Rb is an alkaline element like Na and K, while Sm is the first lanthanide series element and is by far the heaviest one detected in exoplanets. With the calculated guiding center radius $R_{guiding}$ and birth radius $R_{birth}$, we investigate the role of radial migration on the description of lithium evolution in the Galactic disk based on the upper envelope of the A(Li) vs. [Fe/H] diagram. Using migration distances, we find that stars in the solar neighborhood are born at different locations in the galactic disk, and cannot all be explained by models of chemical evolution in the solar neighborhood. It is found that the upper envelope of the A(Li) vs. [Fe/H] diagram varies significantly with $R_{birth}$, which explains the decrease of Li for super-metal-rich (SMR) stars because they are non-young stars born in the inner disk. The upper envelope of Li-$R_{birth}$ plane fits very well with chemical evolution models by Grisoni et al. for $R_{birth} = 7 - 12$ kpc, outside which young stars generally lack sufficient time to migrate to the solar neighborhood. For stars born in the solar neighborhood, the young open clusters and the upper envelope of field stars with age $<$ 3 Gyr fit well with theoretical prediction. We find that calculations using stars with ages less than 3 Gyr are necessary to obtain an undepleted Li upper envelope, and that stars with solar age (around 4.5 Gyr) have depleted around 0.3 dex from the original value based on the chemical evolution model of Grisoni et al., Comment: 7 pages, 5 figures, accepted for publication in MNRAS

As heating processes can broaden the distributions of radial actions and the vertical distributions of the Galactic disks, we investigate the vertical distribution of the Galactic disks as a function of radial action based on Apache Point Observatory Galactic Evolution Experiment(APOGEE) and Gaia data in order to deepen our understanding of the formation and heating history of the Galactic disks. We find that the distributions of radial action for both the thin and thick disks can be approximately described by pseudo-isothermal distributions, which give a statistical measurement for the temperature of the disk as indicated by the mean radial action of the star sample. Estimations of the scale heights in different radial action ranges for these pseudo-isothermal distributions of the disks seem to show fixed relationships between radial action $J_R$ and scale height $h$. We describe these relationships with a two-parameter function of $h = \sqrt{J_R /a} + b$, where $a$ and $b$ are free parameters. When testing with a three-parameter function of $h=\sqrt[\alpha]{J_R/a}+b$, we find that this two-parameter function describes the thin disk well, but we note the function should be used with care for the thick disk. When comparing the best-fit relationships between the inner and outer disk for both of the thin and thick disks, we find that the relationships are nearly the same for the thin disks but are different for the thick disks. The inner thick disk shows a nearly flattened relationship, while the outer thick disk presents a gradually increasing relationship. Super metal-rich (SMR) stars in the solar neighborhood are thought to be born in the inner disk and came to present location by radial migration, which is most intense at the co-rotation resonance (CR) of the Galactic bar. In this work, we show evidence for the CR origin of SMR stars in LAMOST-Gaia by detecting six ridges and undulations in the phi versus Lz space coded by median VR, following a similar slope of -8 km/s kpc/deg. The slope is predicted by Monario et al.'s model for CR of a large and slow Galactic bar. For the first time, we show the variation of angular momentum with azimuths from -10 deg to 20 deg for two outer and broad undulations with negative VR around -18 km/s following this slope. The wave-like pattern with large amplitude outside CR and a wide peak of the second undulations indicate that minor merger of the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy with the disk might play a role besides the significant impact of CR of the Galactic bar., Comment: 5 pages, 3 figures, published in ApJ Letter

As a typical data-driven method, deep learning becomes a natural choice for analysing astronomical data nowadays. In this study, we built a deep convolutional neural network to estimate basic stellar parameters $T\rm{_{eff}}$, log g, metallicity ([M/H] and [Fe/H]) and [$\alpha$/M] along with nine individual elemental abundances ([C/Fe], [N/Fe], [O/Fe], [Mg/Fe], [Al/Fe], [Si/Fe], [Ca/Fe], [Mn/Fe], [Ni/Fe]). The neural network is trained using common stars between the APOGEE survey and the LAMOST survey. We used low-resolution spectra from LAMOST survey as input, and measurements from APOGEE as labels. For stellar spectra with the signal-to-noise ratio in g band larger than 10 in the test set, the mean absolute error (MAE) is 29 K for $T\rm{_{eff}}$, 0.07 dex for log g, 0.03 dex for both [Fe/H] and [M/H], and 0.02 dex for [$\alpha$/M]. The MAE of most elements is between 0.02 dex and 0.04 dex. The trained neural network was applied to 1,210,145 giants, including sub-giants, from LAMOST DR8 within the range of stellar parameters 3500 K < $T\rm{_{eff}}$ < 5500 K, 0.0 dex < log g < 4.0 dex, -2.5 dex < [Fe/H] < 0.5 dex. The distribution of our results in the chemical spaces is highly consistent with APOGEE labels and stellar parameters show consistency with external high-resolution measurements from GALAH. The results in this study allow us to further studies based on LAMOST data and deepen our understanding of the accretion and evolution history of the Milky Way. We present homogeneous abundance analysis of over 20 elements for 385 very metal-poor (VMP) stars based on the LAMOST survey and follow-up observations with the Subaru Telescope. It is the largest high-resolution VMP sample (including 363 new objects) studied by a single program, and the first attempt to accurately determine evolutionary stages for such a large sample based on Gaia parallaxes. The sample covers a wide metallicity range from [Fe/H]=-1.7 down to [Fe/H]=-4.3, including over 110 objects with [Fe/H]<-3.0. The expanded coverage in evolutionary status makes it possible to define abundance trends respectively for giants and turn-off stars. The newly obtained abundance data confirm most abundance trends found by previous studies, but also provide useful update and new sample of outliers. The Li plateau is seen in -2.5 < [Fe/H] <-1.7 in our sample, whereas the average Li abundance is clearly lower at lower metallicity. Mg, Si, and Ca are overabundant with respect to Fe, showing decreasing trend with increasing metallicity. Comparisons with chemical evolution models indicate that the over-abundance of Ti, Sc, and Co are not well reproduced by current theoretical predictions. Correlations are seen between Sc and alpha-elements, while Zn shows a detectable correlation only with Ti but not with other alpha-elements. The fraction of carbon-enhanced stars ([C/Fe]> 0.7) is in the range of 20-30% for turn-off stars depending on the treatment of objects for which C abundance is not determined, which is much higher than that in giants (~8%). Twelve Mg-poor stars ([Mg/Fe] < 0.0) have been identified in a wide metallicity range from [Fe/H] =-3.8 through -1.7. The chemical abundances of very metal-poor stars provide important constraints on the nucleosynthesis of the first generation of stars and early chemical evolution of the Galaxy. We have obtained high-resolution spectra with the Subaru Telescope for candidates of very metal-poor stars selected with a large survey of Galactic stars carried out with LAMOST. In this series of papers, we report on the elemental abundances of about 400 very metal-poor stars and discuss the kinematics of the sample obtained by combining the radial velocities measured in this study and recent astrometry obtained with Gaia. This paper provides an overview of our survey and follow-up program, and reports radial velocities for the whole sample. We identify seven double-lined spectroscopic binaries from our high-resolution spectra, for which radial velocities of the components are reported. Main sequence turn-off (MSTO) stars are good tracers of Galactic populations since their ages can be reliably estimated from atmospheric parameters. Based on the GALAH survey, we use the Yale Rotation Evolution Code to determine ages of 2926 MSTO stars with mean age uncertainty $\sim$10\% considering the variation of C and O abundances. Ages of CO-poor stars are systematically affected by $\sim$10\% due to the C and O abundances, globally shifting to $\sim$0.5 Gyr older compared to the results using solar metal-mixture. Of the stars with \mbox{[Fe/H] $\sim$0.3-0.5} or \mbox{[O/Fe]~$\leq$~-0.25}, many have fractional age differences~$\geq$~20\%, and even reach up to 36\%. The age-metallicity relation appears to possibly exist two distinct sequences: a young sequence of stars with age mostly $<$ 7 Gyr, and a relatively older sequence of stars with age mostly $>$ 7 Gyr, overlapping at 5 Gyr $\leq$~age~$\leq$ 7 Gyr. Moreover, the trends of abundances to age ratios show two corresponding sequences, especially in [O/Fe]-age plane. We also find that [Y/Mg] is a good chemical clock in disk populations. The young sequence and the old sequence can not be separated based on chemistry or kinematics, therefore stellar age is an important parameter to distinguish these two sequences in our sample., Comment: 15 pages, 13 figures, accepted for publication in ApJ

Radial migration is an important process in the evolution of the Galactic disk. The metallicity gradient of open clusters and its outliers provide an effective way to probe for this process. In this work, we compile metallicity, age, and kinematic parameters for 225 open clusters and carry out a quantitative analysis of radial migration via the calculated migration distances. Based on clusters with age $< 0.5$ Gyr, we obtain the present-day metallicity gradient of $-0.074 \pm 0.007$ dex/kpc. Along this gradient distributes three sequences, and clusters in the upper, the middle, and the lower groups are found to be old outward-migrators, in-situ clusters, and inward-migrators, respectively. The migration distance increases with age, but its most effective time is probably less than 3 Gyr. The metallicity gradient breaks out at $R_g$ (guiding center radius) $\sim11.5$ kpc, which is caused by the lack of young open clusters in the outer disk and the presence of old outward-migrators in the upper sequence. It shows that this boundary is related to the different effects of radial migration between the inner and outer disks. We also found many special open clusters in and near the outer disk of $R > 11$ kpc and a steeper metallicity gradient from the inner disk of $R_g < 7$ kpc, which tells a complicated evolution history of the Galactic disk by different effects of stellar radial migration., Comment: 19 pages, 11 figures, accepted for publication in the Astrophysical Journal

We report the detection of a large sample of high-$\alpha$-metal-rich stars on the low giant branch with $2.60.2$ than the comparison group. These properties strongly indicate its connection with the outer bar/bulge region at $R=3-5$ kpc. A tentative interpretation of this special group is that its stars were formed in the X-shaped bar/bulge region, close to its corotation radius, where radial migration is the most intense, and brings them to present locations at 9 kpc and beyond. Low eccentricities and slightly outward radial excursions of its stars are consistent with this scenario. Its kinematics (cold) and chemistry ($[\alpha/Fe]$ $\sim 0.1$) further support the formation of the instability-driven X-shaped bar/bulge from the thin disk., Comment: 13 pages, 8 figures, accepted for publication in Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics

The Galactic halo is supposed to form from merging with nearby dwarf galaxies. In order to probe different components of the Galactic halo, we have applied the Gaussian Mixture Models method to a selected sample of metal poor stars with [Fe/H] $< -0.7$ dex in the APOGEE DR16 catalogue based on four-parameters, metallicity, [Mg/Fe] ratio and spatial velocity (\textit{$V_R$, $V_\phi$}). Nine groups are identified with four from the halo (group 1, 3, 4 and 5), one from the thick disk (group 6), one from the thin disk (group 8) and one from dwarf galaxies (group 7) by analyzing their distributions in the ([M/H], [Mg/Fe]), ($V_R$, $V_\phi$), (\textit{Zmax}, \textit{eccentricity}), (\textit{Energy}, \textit{Lz}) and ([Mg/Mn], [Al/Fe]) coordinates. The rest two groups are respectively caused by observational effect (group 9) and the cross section component (group 2) between the thin disk and the thick disk. It is found that in the extremely outer accreted halo (group 1), stars born in the Milky Way can not be distinguished from those accreted from other galaxies either chemically or kinematically. In the intermediate metallicity of $-$1.6 $<$ [Fe/H] $< -0.7$ dex, the accreted halo mainly composed of the Gaia-Enceladus-Sausage substructure (group 5), which can be easily distinguished from group 4 (the in-situ halo group) in both chemical and kinematic space. Some stars of group 4 may come from the disk and some disk stars can be scattered to high orbits by resonant effects as shown in the \textit{Zmax} versus Energy coordinate. We investigate the stellar kinematics of the Galactic disc in 7 $<$ $R$ $<$ 13\,kpc using a sample of 118\,945 red giant branch (RGB) stars from LAMOST and Gaia. We characterize the median, dispersion and skewness of the distributions of the 3D stellar velocities, actions and orbital parameters across the age-metallicity and the disc $R$ -- $Z$ plane. Our results reveal abundant but clear stellar kinematic patterns and structures in the age -- metallicity and the disc $R$ -- $Z$ plane. The most prominent feature is the strong variations of the velocity, action, and orbital parameter distributions from the young, metal-rich thin disc to the old, metal-poor thick disc, a number of smaller-scale structures -- such as velocity streams, north-south asymmetries, and kinematic features of spiral arms -- are clearly revealed. Particularly, the skewness of $V_{\phi}$ and $J_{\phi}$ reveals a new substructure at $R\simeq12$\,kpc and $Z\simeq0$\,kpc, possibly related to dynamical effects of spiral arms in the outer disc. We further study the stellar migration through analysing the stellar orbital parameters and stellar birth radii. The results suggest that the thick disc stars near the solar radii and beyond are mostly migrated from the inner disc of $R\sim4 - 6$\,kpc due to their highly eccentrical orbits. Stellar migration due to dynamical processes with angular momentum transfer (churning) are prominent for both the old, metal-rich stars (outward migrators) and the young metal-poor stars (inward migrators). The spatial distribution in the $R$ -- $Z$ plane for the inward migrators born at a Galactocentric radius of $>$12\,kpc show clear age stratifications, possibly an evidence that these inward migrators are consequences of splashes triggered by merger events of satellite galaxies that have been lasted in the past few giga years., Comment: 19 pages, 18 figures, Accepted by MNRAS

We search for metal-rich Sausage-kinematic (MRSK) stars with [Fe/H]> -0.8 and -100

We present a new moving group clustered in kinematics, spatial position and elemental abundances. Its spatial position is around the center of the Local Arm of the Milky Way. A convergent point method was taken to select candidate member stars.\textbf{ Among 206 candidate member stars, 74 are pre-main-sequence stars and some of them have stellar disks.} We presume those pre-main sequence stars belong to Orion nebula. Since Gaia DR2 was released, many velocity structures in the disk have been revealed such as large scale ridge-like patterns in the phase space. Both kinematic information and stellar elemental abundances are needed to reveal their evolution history. We have used labels from the APOGEE survey to predict elemental abundances for a huge amount of low resolution spectra from the LAMOST survey. Deep learning with artificial neural networks can automatically draw on physically sensible features in the spectrum for their predictions. Abundances of 12 individual elements: [C/Fe], [N/Fe], [O/Fe], [Mg/Fe], [Al/Fe], [Si/Fe], [S/Fe], [Cl/Fe], [Ca/Fe], [Ti/Fe], [Mn/Fe] and [Ni/Fe] along with basic stellar labels $T_{\textrm{eff}}$, log $g$, metallicity ([M/H] and [Fe/H]) and [$\alpha$/M] for 1 063 386 stars have been estimated. Then those stars were cross matched with Gaia DR2 data to obtain kinematic parameters. We presented distributions of chemical abundances in the $V_{\phi}$ versus \textit{R} coordinate. Our results extend the chemical characterization of the ridges in the (R, $V_{\phi}$) plane to about $R = $13 kpc toward the anticenter direction. In addition, radial elemental abundance gradients for disk stars with abs(\textit{z})$ < 0.5$ kpc are investigated and we fitted a line for median abundance values of bins of stars with galactocentric distance between $R > 7.84$ kpc and $R < 15.84$ kpc. The radial metallicity gradients for disk stars are respectively -0.0475 $\pm $0.0015 for $R < 13.09$ kpc and -0.0173 $\pm $0.0028 for $R < 13.09$ kpc. Base on about 4,500 large tangential velocity ($V_\mathrm{tan}>0.75V_\mathrm{esc}$) with high-precision proper motions and $5\sigma$ parallaxes in Gaia DR2 5D information derived from parallax and proper motion, we identify more than 600 high velocity stars with $50\%$ unbound probability. Of these, 28 nearby (less than 6 kpc) late-type Hypervelocity stars (HVSs) with over $99\%$ possibility of unbound are discovered. In order to search for the unbound stars from the full Gaia DR2 6D phase space information derived from parallax, proper motion and radial velocity, we also identify 28 stars from the total velocity ($V_\mathrm{gc}>0.75V_\mathrm{esc}$) that have probabilities greater than $50\%$ of being unbound from the Galaxy. Of these, only three have a nearly $99\%$ probabilities of being unbound. On the whole HVSs subsample, there is 12 sources reported by other surveys. We study the spatial distribution of angular positions and angular separation of HVSs. We find the unbound HVSs are spatially anisotropic that is most significant in the Galactic longitude at more than $3\sigma$ level, and lower unbound probability HVSs are systematically more isotropic. We determined the chemical and kinematic properties of the Galactic thin and thick disk using a sample of 307,246 A/F/G/K-type giant stars from the LAMOST spectroscopic survey and Gaia DR2 survey. Our study found that the thick disk globally exhibits no metallicity radial gradient, but the inner disk ($R \le 8$ kpc) and the outer disk ($R>8$ kpc) have different gradients when they are studied separately. The thin disk also shows two different metallicity radial gradients for the inner disk and the outer disk, and has steep metallicity vertical gradient of d[Fe/H]/d$|z|$ $=-0.12\pm0.0007$ dex kpc$^{-1}$, but it becomes flat when it is measured at increasing radial distance, while the metallicity radial gradient becomes weaker with increasing vertical distance. Adopting a galaxy potential model, we derived the orbital eccentricity of sample stars and found a downtrend of average eccentricity with increasing metallicity for the thick disk. The variation of the rotation velocity with the metallicity shows a positive gradient for the thick disk stars and a negative one for the thin disk stars. Comparisons of our observed results with models of disk formation suggest that radial migration could have influenced the chemical evolution of the thin disk. Based on the second Gaia data (Gaia DR2) and spectroscopy from the LAMOST Data Release 5, we defined the high-velocity (HiVel) stars sample as those stars with $v_{\mathrm{gc}} > 0.85 v_{\mathrm{esc}}$, and derived the final sample of 24 HiVel stars with stellar astrometric parameters and radial velocities. Most of the HiVel stars are metal-poor and $\alpha$-enhanced. In order to further explore the origin of these HiVel stars, we traced the backwards orbits of each HiVel star in the Galactic potential to derive probability parameters which are used to classify these HiVel stars. We study the radial metallicity gradient $\Delta[M/H]/\Delta R_g$ as a function of [Mg/Fe] and $|Z|$ with the help of a guiding radius based on the Apache Point Observatory Galactic Evolution Experiment and Gaia and then analyze the radial migration effect on the radial metallicity gradient and metallicity-rotation gradient between the Galactic thin and thick disks. The derived trend of gradient $\Delta[M/H]/\Delta R_g$ versus [Mg/Fe] shows a transition at [Mg/Fe] $\sim 0.18$ dex, below which the gradient is negative and varies a little as [Mg/Fe] increases; however, it changes sharply in [Mg/Fe] ranges of 0.16-0.18, above which the gradient increases linearly with increasing [Mg/Fe], being a positive value at [Mg/Fe]$\gtrsim 0.22$ dex. These positive gradients in the high-[Mg/Fe] populations are found at $|Z| < 0.8$ kpc, and there are nearly no gradients toward higher $|Z|$. By comparing the metallicity distributions, the radial metallicity gradients $\Delta[M/H]/\Delta R$ and the metallicity-rotation gradients between the total sample and $|R-R_g|<2$ kpc subsample (or $|R-R_g|>2$ kpc subsample), we find that, for the thick disk, blurring flattens the gradient $\Delta[M/H]/\Delta R$ and favors metal-poor high-eccentricity stars. We present chemical abundances of 15 stars in the {\gamma} Leo moving group based on high-resolution spectra with the Subaru High Dispersion Spectrograph. The sample was picked up by applying wavelet transform to UVW velocity compo- nents of stars in the solar neighbourhood. Both photometric and spectroscopic method have been used to determine the stellar parameters of stars. Abun- dances of 11 elements including Na, Mg, Al, Si, Ca, Ti, Cr, Fe, Ni, Y and Ba are measured. Our results show that the member stars display a wide metallicity distribution with abundance ratios similar to Milky way disk stars.
