Objective Aiming to further enhance urban rail transit service with precision, it is essential to quantitatively extract the influencing variable factors of urban rail transit service quality and analyze the intrinsic relationship between these variables. Method Exploratory factor analysis is employed to extract six common influencing factors. SEM (structural equation modeling) is then introduced to construct three confirmatory factor analysis models for the influencing variables. These models are validated using survey data. Result & Conclusion The results indicate that the first-order six-factor uncorrelated model does not fit the actual data. Both the first-order six-factor correlated model and the second-order factor model adequately reflect the relationship between factors, while the later shows a significantly higher goodness of fit，with an average goodness of fit increase by 4.50% in absolute fit index, 0.53% in incremental fit index, and 12.73% in parsimonious fit index. The second-order factor model effectively quantifies the contributions of the six factors to service quality.

Objective·To compare the performance of various deep learning methods in the segmentation and classification of colorectal polyp endoscopic images, and identify the most effective approach.Methods·Four colorectal polyp datasets were collected from three hospitals, encompassing 1 534 static images and 15 videos. All samples were pathologically validated and categorized into two types: serrated lesions and adenomatous polyps. Polygonal annotations were performed by using the LabelMe tool, and the annotated results were converted into integer mask formats. These data were utilized to train various architectures of deep neural networks, including convolutional neural network (CNN), Transformers, and their fusion, aiming to develop an effective semantic segmentation model. Multiple performance indicators for automatic diagnosis of colon polyps by different architecture models were compared, including mIoU, aAcc, mAcc, mDice, mFscore, mPrecision and mRecall.Results·Four different architectures of semantic segmentation models were developed, including two deep CNN architectures (Fast-SCNN and DeepLabV3plus), one Transformer architecture (Segformer), and one hybrid architecture (KNet). In a comprehensive performance evaluation of 291 test images, KNet achieved the highest mIoU of 84.59%, significantly surpassing Fast-SCNN (75.32%), DeepLabV3plus (78.63%), and Segformer (80.17%). Across the categories of “background”， “serrated lesions” and “adenomatous polyps” , KNet's intersection over union (IoU) were 98.91%, 74.12%, and 80.73%, respectively, all exceeding other models. Additionally, KNet performed excellently in key performance metrics, with aAcc, mAcc, mDice, mFscore, and mRecall reaching 98.59%, 91.24%, 91.31%, 91.31%, and 91.24%, respectively, all superior to other models. Although its mPrecision of 91.46% was not the most outstanding, KNet's overall performance remained leading. In inference testing on 80 external test images, KNet maintained an mIoU of 81.53%, demonstrating strong generalization capabilities.Conclusion·The semantic segmentation model of colorectal polyp endoscopic images constructed by deep neural network based on KNet hybrid architecture, exhibits superior predictive performance, demonstrating its potential as an efficient tool for detecting colorectal polyps.

ObjectiveTo investigate the infestation and disposal of bedbugs in Shanghai， and provide scientific evidence for comprehensive prevention and control of bedbugs.MethodsA questionnaire survey was conducted in the pest control operations （PCOs） of Shanghai Association for Health Promotion to investigate the infestation and disposal of bedbugs. The questionnaire included basic information of the unit， bedbug disposal experience， type of environment of bedbug infestation， main disposal site， main treatment method， main drug and formulation， and evaluation of the disposal. Chi-square test was used for comparison between groups.ResultsOf the 116 PCOs， 78 （67.24%） had conducted bedbug disposal， and 29.49% had conducted the disposal no less than 5 times in the past three years. The main types of environment of bedbug infestation were dormitories （46.96%）， hotels （18.78%）， and households （20.44%）. Additionally， bedbug infestation was found in nursing homes， prisons and detention centers， and transport vehicles. Bed frame/bed board/mattress （32.42%） was the main site of bedbug infestation， followed by mat （19.63%）. Chemical spraying was the most common method for bedbug disposal （98.72%）， followed by high-temperature steam （11.54%）. The main drug used in chemical spraying were pyrethroids （69.23%）， nicotinoids （60.26%） and organophosphorus （42.31%）， for which the main formulation were suspended insecticides （55.13%）， followed by wettable powders （43.59%） and emulsifiers （43.59%）. Furthermore， 89.74% of the PCOs performed the assessment after disposal， in which the control effect was generally satisfactory.ConclusionBedbug infestation is relatively common in Shanghai. Dormitories， hotels and households are places where bedbug infestation is more likely to occur. Bed frame， bed board and mattress are the most vulnerable sites to bedbug infestation. Combination of physical and chemical methods should be used for disposal of bedbug infestation.

In order to enhance the efficiency of renewable energy utilization and the economic and environmental performance of distributed electric-thermal-hydrogen energy systems， a unified model for multi-type electrolyzers is established considering the strong fluctuation of wind and solar power generation and the differentiated features of multi-type electrolyzers. A method for optimizing the design of electric-thermal-hydrogen energy systems is proposed， taking into account the differentiated characteristics of multi-type electrolyzers. This method comprehensively utilizes alkaline electrolyzers， proton exchange membrane electrolyzers， and solid oxide electrolyzers， considering their differences in terms of economic viability， flexibility， and efficiency. This approach aims for consumption of renewable energy sources with different fluctuation characteristics. Case study results indicate that this method effectively integrates the differentiated features of multi-type electrolyzers， aligning the operational flexibility of various electrolyzers with the fluctuations in wind and solar power outputs. As a result， it comprehensively enhances the economic and environmental performance of electric-thermal-hydrogen energy systems.

Food protein is one of the most important nutrients for human beings. The existing ways of obtaining protein are difficult to satisfy the huge demand for protein supply owing to the continuous growth of population and the continuous improvement in living standards. Microbial protein manufacturing is the efficient production of protein raw materials by using cheap biomass raw materials in the way of workshop production, which is expected to become one of the most effective and feasible alternative protein sources in the future. This research introduces industrial application status of several microprotein such as yeast protein, microalgae protein, and filamentous fungi protein, and functional proteins such as lactoprotein, ovalbumin, and hemoglobin. The research also sorts out key manufacturing technical systems involved in substrate selection and utilization, strain breeding, fermentation process control, and protein extraction. It is concluded that in the context that microbial protein has multiple production advantages and few application cases in the food industry, to promote food application and industrialization of microbial protein, it is urgent to solve two problems: food processing as well as evaluation of nutrition and safety. The research can provide a basic reference for national alternative protein strategies and the development layout of the microprotein industry.

The vast majority of thyroid cancers show a good prognosis. However, the treatment of locally advanced thyroid cancer presents a huge problem. The wide application of targeted and immunotherapy in neoadjuvant therapy for locally advanced thyroid cancer has become a new therapeutic direction. This article summarizes the research on neoadjuvant chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and targeted therapy and immunotherapy related to various pathological types of thyroid cancer, with a focus on the recent advancements and thoughts on the application of targeted and immunotherapeutic drugs in neoadjuvant therapy. The results provide additional options for the clinical treatment of locally advanced thyroid cancer.

Objective: This study aimed to develop new, efficient, safe and precise tyrosinase inhibitors. Methods: The orthogonal test was used to optimize the extraction conditions of kojic acid. The inhibitory effect of kojic acid on tyrosinase was studied by enzyme kinetics, and the mechanism of its interaction with tyrosinase from different sources was analyzed by molecular docking technology. Results: The optimum process conditions for extracting kojic acid were as follows: activated carbon content of 5%, decolorization temperature of 75 ℃, pH 2.0, decolorization time of 50 min, and the purity of kojic acid was 97.85%. the IC50 of kojic acid on tyrosinase monophenolase and tyrosinase bisphenolase were 13.33 and 53.32 μg/mL, respectively. The XP docking scores of kojic acid with mushroom, mouse, gorilla, and human tyrosinase were -7.515, -5.011, -5.537, and -3.638, respectively. The results of MM-GBSA were 94.47, -110.80, -1.17 and 6.45 kJ/mol, respectively. Conclusion: Under the control of the optimal process conditions, the purity of kojic acid can be significantly improved. Kojic acid has a competitive inhibitory effect on tyrosinase. Tyrosinase from different sources combines with kojic acid to form different types of non-covalent bonds, the binding stability of the inhibitor and different tyrosines is different.

In recent years， with frequent outbreaks of infectious diseases around the world， the global public health is faced with many threats and challenges. An infectious diseases early warning system is an important means for prevention and control of infectious diseases. As an important part of the early warning system， the warning indicators is crucial for understanding the occurrence and development trend of infectious diseases， detecting abnormal situations timely and effectively， and issuing early warning and initiating emergency response. Based on the occurrence and development process of infectious diseases， this paper summarizes the research status of early warning indicators on infectious diseases， in order to provide reference for the development and improvement of the infectious diseases early warning system.

ObjectiveTo present the exploration and application of a prospective follow-up research method for acute infectious disease surveillance based on natural community populations， using COVID-19 infection as an example， and to provide a reference for improving the infectious disease surveillance and early warning system.MethodsA multi-stage probability proportional sampling method was employed to sample residents from all communities of 16 administrative districts in Shanghai， with households as the units. A cohort for acute infectious diseases based on natural community populations was established. The baseline survey was conducted for all cohort subjects， and COVID-19 antigen test kits were distributed. From December 21， 2022 to September 30， 2023， prospective follow-up monitoring of COVID-19 antigen and nucleic acid was carried out on the study subjects on a weekly basis. The baseline characteristics and follow-up information of the cohort subjects were described.ResultsThe cohort for acute infectious diseases included a total of 12 881 subjects， comprising 6 098 males （47.3%） and 6 783 females （52.7%）. The baseline survey revealed that 35.2% （4 540/12 881） of the subjects had a history of COVID-19 infection. During the follow-up period from December 21， 2022 to September 30， 2023， the average incidence density in the cohort was 0.61/person-year， with a higher incidence density in females （0.63/person-year） compared to males （0.59/person-year）. Individuals aged 60 and above （0.64/person-year） and those with underlying health conditions （0.67/person-year） had a higher incidence density. Healthcare workers showed a notably higher incidence density （0.84/person-year） than that in other occupational groups. As of September 30， 2023， a total of 340 subjects in the cohort experienced secondary infections， with a median interval of 170 days between the first and second infections.ConclusionThis study applies cohort study method to acute infectious disease surveillance， providing crucial data support for estimating infection rates and forecasting alerts for acute infectious diseases in the community. This method can be promoted and applied as a new approach for acute infectious disease surveillance.

BackgroundThe conversion of UF6, which is a primary nuclear product, to UF4 in fluoride molten salt phase is expected to be used in the preparation or reconstitution of nuclear fuel salt for molten salt reactors, thus simplifying the process of molten salt reactor fuel production. Determination of the concentration of the key intermediate UF3 plays an important role in obtaining the reaction parameters.PurposeThis study aims to establish a method for measuring UF3 concentration in solid fluoride molten salts.MethodsThe X-ray diffraction (XRD) was employed to test the homemade standards and obtain the internal standard curve of UF3. Firstly, the α-Al2O3 was taken as the internal standard to obtain the XRD peak height internal standard curve (R=0.986) and peak area internal standard curve of LiF-BeF2-UF3 molten salt. Then, these two internal standard curves were applied to measuring the known content of LiUF5 and UF3 solid mixed samples to compare their accuracies. Finally, measurements were conducted on rapidly cooled LiF-BeF2-UF3 solid molten salt samples and naturally cooled LiF-BeF2-UF3-LiUF5 solid molten salt samples to evaluate the stability and accuracy of the curve, and the relative error was obtained.ResultsIn the UF3 concentration range of 1.00~10.00 wt%, the correlation coefficient of the internal standard curve based on the peak area determined for of LiF-BeF2-UF3 molten salt is 0.995. Measuring results of solid mixed samples of LiUF5 and UF3 with known concentrations indicate that the peak area internal standard curve achieves better accuracy with a relative measurement error of no more than 8.7%. In addition, the results of the same content samples with different cooling methods confirm the good stability and accuracy of the proposed method with less than 5.4% relative standard deviation.ConclusionsThe established method can be used for the quantitative analysis of solid LiF-BeF2-UF3 and LiF-BeF2-UF3-LiUF5 molten salts with good measurement accuracy and repeatability.

Optical skyrmions, which are topological quasi-particles with nontrivial electromagnetic textures, have garnered escalating research interest recently for their potential in diverse applications. In this paper, we present a method for generating tightly focused optical skyrmion and meron topologies formed by electric-field vectors under 4π-focusing system, where both the topology types (including Néel-, Bloch-, intermediate- and anti-skyrmion/meron) and the normal direction of the two-dimensional topology projection plane can be tailored at will. By utilizing time-reversal techniques, we analytically derive the radiation pattern of a multiple concentric-ring array of dipoles (MCAD) to obtain the required illumination fields on the pupil planes of the two high numerical aperture lenses. The Deby vector diffraction integral theory is employed to calculate the corresponding tightly focused field, and their topology characteristics are quantitatively evaluated by the electric-field vector distribution. The results demonstrate that arbitrary electric-field based skyrmion and meron can be conveniently generated by adjusting the oscillation direction of each dipole in the MCAD and the normal direction of the dipole array. The generated optical topologies with fully controllable degrees of freedom provide potential applications in optical information processing, transmission, and storage.

In response to the problem of missing traffic flow data on highways, to solve the problem of insufficient mining of traffic flow characteristics using existing spatiotemporal correlation repair methods, a missing data repair method based on spatiotemporal fusion adversarial network is proposed based on analyzing the spatiotemporal characteristics of traffic flow, this method utilizes the fusion of GRU and GCN to capture the fine-grained spatiotemporal relationships of traffic flow, optimizes the generator and discriminator of the adversarial network, and achieves accurate repair of missing data. Experiments based on real data have shown that under various missing modes and rates, the model can learn the topological relationships of the road network, capture the temporal regularity and spatiotemporal correlation in the data, and effectively impute missing data.

ContextDespite the recognition of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) as a multifaceted neurodevelopmental disorder, its core causes are still ambiguous. The objective of this study was to explore if the traits of circulating immune cells contribute causally to susceptibility to ADHD.MethodsBy employing a unified GWAS summary data covering 731 immune traits from the GWAS Catalog (accession numbers from GCST0001391 to GCST0002121), our analysis focused on the flow cytometry of lymphocyte clusters, encompassing 3,757 Sardinians, to identify genetically expected immune cells. Furthermore, we obtained summarized GWAS statistics from the Psychiatric Genomics Consortium to evaluate the genetic forecasting of ADHD. The studies employed ADHD2019 (20,183 cases and 35,191 controls from the 2019 GWAS ADHD dataset) and ADHD2022 (38,691 cases and 275,986 controls from the 2022 GWAS ADHD dataset). Through the examination of genome-wide association signals, we identified shared genetic variances between circulating immune cells and ADHD, employing the comprehensive ADHD2022 dataset. We primarily utilized inverse variance weighted (IVW) and weighted median methods in our Mendelian randomization research and sensitivity assessments to evaluate diversity and pleiotropy.ResultsAfter adjusting for false discovery rate (FDR), three distinct immunophenotypes were identified as associated with the risk of ADHD: CD33 in Im MDSC (OR=1.03, CI: 1.01~1.04, P=3.04×10−5, PFDR=0.015), CD8br NKT %T cell (OR=1.08, 95%CI: 1.04~1.12, P=9.33×10−5, PFDR=0.023), and CD8br NKT %lymphocyte (OR=1.08, 95%CI: 1.03~1.12, P=3.59×10−4, PFDR=0.066). Furthermore, ADHD showed no statistical effects on immunophenotypes. It’s worth noting that 20 phenotypes exist where ADHD’s appearance could diminish 85% of immune cells, including FSC-A in myeloid DC (β= -0.278, 95% CI: 0.616~0.931, P=0.008), CD3 in CD45RA- CD4+ (β= -0.233, 95% CI: 0.654~0.960, P=0.017), CD62L- monocyte AC (β=0.227, 95% CI: 0.038~1.518, P=0.019), CD33 in CD33br HLA DR+ CD14dim (β= -0.331, 95% CI: 0.543~0.950, P=0.020), and CD25 in CD39+ resting Treg (β=0.226, 95% CI: 1.522, P=0.022), and FSC-A in monocytes (β= -0.255, 95% CI: 0.621~0.967, P=0.234), among others.ConclusionStudies indicate that the immune system’s response influences the emergence of ADHD. The findings greatly improve our understanding of the interplay between immune responses and ADHD risk, aiding in the development of treatment strategies from an immunological perspective.

ObjectiveTo study the relationship between occupational stress/sleep quality and job satisfaction of internet enterprise programmers， to explore the mediating effect of sleep quality between occupational stress and job satisfaction， and to provide a theoretical basis for taking effective measures to improve job satisfaction.MethodsA total of 271 programmers from an Internet company in Shanghai were investigated by job content questionnaire， Pittsburgh Sleep Index Scale and the third part of the McLean occupational stress questionnaire. The results were statistically analyzedResultsThe positive rate of occupational stress of programmers in this enterprise was 66.7%， 34.3% of them had average sleep quality， 28.0% had poor sleep quality， and the score of job satisfaction was 47.70±6.78. Correlation analysis showed that the higher the occupational stress， the worse the sleep quality and the lower the job satisfaction. Effects of occupational stress and sleep quality on job satisfaction were both statistically significant. The total effect of occupational stress on job satisfaction was -0.35， and the mediating effect of sleep quality between occupational stress and job satisfaction was -0.04， accounting for 12.0% of the total effect.ConclusionSleep quality of internet enterprise programmers plays a partial mediating role between occupational stress and job satisfaction， and a series of measures such as improving sleep can be taken to improve programmer’s job satisfaction.

This paper investigate the effect of enhance recovery after surgery (ERAS) in perioperative nursing of pediatric patients undergoing modified artificial partial knee-joint prosthesis replacement for osteosarcoma around the knee joint. The clinical data of 8 pediatric patients with osteosarcoma around the knee joint were retrospectively analyzed. Based on the concept of ERAS, enhanced health education, nutrition support and psychological care were carried out before surgery. In addition to routine postoperative nursing, efforts were made to improve the positioning management, function exercise and prevention of postoperative complications. All pediatric patients were followed up and recovery with good walking posture. ERAS-based nursing intervention is effective to improve the functional recovery of knee joint and reduce the postoperative complications in modified artificial partial knee-joint prosthesis replacement for osteosarcoma around the knee joint. Objective: The changes in the main chemical components in water extracts of Tibetan tea during the pile fermentation process were investigated. Methods: Research was done on tea samples and water extracts from various fermentation stages of Tibetan tea. Soluble solids, soluble sugars, total polyphenols, total flavonoids, and in vitro antioxidant activity (ABTS and DPPH) were all examined. Additionally, ultra-performance liquid chromatography (UPLC) was used to find theophylline, caffeine, gallic acid (GA), and 8 catechins monomers. By using enzyme-linked immunoassay, the amount of theaflavin, thearubigin, and theabrownin were determined. Results: The soluble solids in Tibetan tea reduced and then slightly increased during the fermentation process. The amount of soluble sugar, total polyphenols, and total flavonoids and the antioxidant activity decreased gradually. Caffeine showed a fluctuating state with small changes, the amount of GA and catechin (C) increased and then slightly decreased. Epicatechin (EC) and (gallocatechin gallate) GCG concentration increased and then decreased. Gallocatechin (GC), epigallocatechin (EGC), epicatechin gallate (ECG), and epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) levels all showed a consistent reduction. The EGCG decreased from 39.69 mg/g in the initial tea to 1.36 mg/g in final product. The amount of theaflavin first climbed and then slightly dropped, the amount of thearubigin changed slightly, and the amount of theabrownin progressively increased (3.12 g/100 g in the original tea, 7.46 g/100 g in the completed tea). Conclusion: The changes in main chemical components during the fermentation process of Tibetan tea were revealed. These results might serve as guidelines for processing and quality control of Tibetan tea.

The study aimed to analyze flight training methods for Chinese airline pilots, comparing domestic and foreign approaches while assessing their respective advantages and disadvantages. Various aspects including language, culture, airspace, flight support, teaching methods, training standards, and costs were examined. Additionally, a quantitative analysis was conducted on theory and practical exam results, as well as the personality development of cadets from both training backgrounds. Results revealed that foreign flight training offered several benefits over domestic training, such as shorter duration and lower costs due to airspace accessibility. Cadets undergoing foreign training demonstrated higher average scores and passing rates in Instrument Rating and Commercial License Examinations compared to domestically trained counterparts. Furthermore, foreign training positively influenced cadets’ personality development. In conclusion, foreign flight training demonstrated significant advantages in terms of overall cost-effectiveness, training quality, and cadet professionalism. However, domestic training also had its merits. Thus, the authors recommended a comprehensive evaluation to determine the most suitable training approach for individual cadets.

Abstract Cancer therapeutic vaccine can induce antigen-specific immune response, which has shown great potential in cancer immunotherapy. As the key factor of vaccine, antigen plays a central role in eliciting antitumor immunity. However, the insufficient antigen delivery and low efficiency of antigen presentation by dendritic cells (DCs) have greatly restricted the therapeutic efficiency of vaccine. Here we developed a kind of DC hybrid zinc phosphate nanoparticles to co-deliver antigenic peptide and photosensitive melanin. Owing to the chelating ability of Zn2+, the nanoparticles can co-encapsulate antigenic peptide and melanin with high efficiency. The nanovaccine showed good physiological stability with the hydration particle size was approximately 30 nm, and zeta potential was around − 10 mV. The nanovaccine showed homologous targeting effect to DCs in vivo and in vitro, efficiently delivering antigen to DCs. Meanwhile, the nanovaccine could effectively reflux to the tumor-draining lymph nodes. When combined with near-infrared irradiation, the nanovaccine induced effective mild heat in vitro and in vivo to promote antigen presentation. After administrating to MC38 tumor-bearing mice, the hybrid nanovaccine effectively promoted the maturation of DCs, the expansion of cytotoxic T lymphocytes and helper T cells, and the secretion of immunostimulatory cytokines, thereby significantly inhibiting tumor growth. Objective To analyze the risk factors for biochemical recurrence in prostate cancer patients after radical prostatectomy (RP) and establish a risk prediction model for the recurrence. Methods A retrospective cohort study was conducted on 279 patients who underwent RP surgery in our hospital from September 2007 to March 2022. There were 21 clinical indicators collected and analyzed. After time factors were included, Lasso regression was applied to screen the indicators, Kaplan-Meier method was used to draw survival curve, univariate and multivariate Cox proportional risk regression models were employed to analyze the risk factors and establish a prediction model. Then receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve were plotted to evaluate the discriminative performance of the model. Then a nomogram was draw based on the obtained risk factors. Calibration curve was used to evaluate the accuracy of prediction, and decision curve was employed to assess the clinical benefit. Results During a median follow-up time of 37.10 (17.60, 61.30) months, 86 cases (30.8%), at a median age of 68.00 (65.00, 72.00) years, experienced biochemical recurrence. Univariate analysis showed that 12 indicators were strongly associated with biochemical recurrence after RP (P < 0.05), and Lasso regression screening indicated 7 representative indicator sets, including nutritional risk index (NRI), clinical T-stage, pathological Gleason score, pathological T-stage, positive surgical margin, lymph node invasion, and seminal vesicle invasion. Further multifactorial analysis revealed that pathological high stage (≥pT3 stage) (HR=1.895, 95%CI: 1.045~3.435, P=0.035), positive surgical margin (HR=1.808, 95%CI: 1.006~3.25, P=0.048), lymph node invasion (HR=2.161, 95% CI: 1.118~4.175, P=0.022) and NRI ≤106.9 (HR=0.598, 95% CI: 0.378~0.946, P=0.028) were independent risk factors for biochemical recurrence. The predictive equation was established with an AUC of 0.743 (95% CI: 0.677~0.810, P < 0.001), a sensitivity of 0.826 and a specificity of 0.534. And the established nomogram has a C-index of 0.741 (95%CI: 0.677~0.805; P < 0.001), with good agreement indicated by calibration curve. Clinical decision curve displayed that there was a net benefit when the threshold probability was 15%~85%. Conclusion High pathological stage (≥pT3 stage), positive surgical margin, lymph node invasion, and NRI ≤106.9 are independent risk factors for biochemical recurrence of prostate cancer after RP. Our prediction model can make effective judgments and provide references for clinical decision making.

Stroke seriously threatens human life and health worldwide, but only very few effective stroke medicines are currently available. Our previous studies have indicated that the phytoestrogen calycosin exerts neuroprotective effects in cerebral ischemia and reperfusion injury rats. Therefore, the objective of this study is to further explore the protective effect of calycosin on inflammatory injury in microglia after oxygen-glucose deprivation/reoxygenation (OGD/R) and to clarify whether its protective effect is related to the HMGB1/TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway. Here, the OGD/R model of rodent microglia is established in vitro to simulate cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury. Through the CCK-8 test, ELISA, qRT-PCR, and western blot analysis, we find that the activity of microglia is decreased, the expressions of HMGB1 and TLR4 and the phosphorylation of NF-κB (p-NF-κB) are increased, and the releases of the inflammatory factors IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α are increased after OGD/R. Pretreatment with calycosin could ameliorate these states, increase cell viability, reduce HMGB1, TLR4 and p-NF-κB expression, and reduce inflammatory cytokine production. In addition, the effect of calycosin is similar to that of TAK-242 (an inhibitor of TLR4), and the effect of the combined treatment is better than that of the single treatment. The results indicate that calycosin protects microglia from OGD/R injury and reduces the inflammatory response. Calycosin might alleviate cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury by inhibiting the HMGB1/TLR4/NF-κB pathway.

Currently, pilot fatigue is considered to be a significant factor that affects aviation safety. In order to investigate the impact of fatigue on flight safety, we design a questionnaire to conduct a survey on the pilots of Shandong Airline, process and analyze the data through the SPSSAU data analysis platform, and construct a structural equation between fatigue and pilot unsafe behaviors. The study findings indicate that there is a significant relationship between situational awareness, safety awareness, crew atmosphere, work pressure and pilot fatigue, and the higher the pilot fatigue level, the lower situational awareness and safety awareness, the worse crew atmosphere and the higher work pressure. Compared to physical fatigue, mental fatigue was more vulnerable to the above four factors, and at the same time, it was also more likely to lead to the pilot’s unsafe behaviors, thus threatening flight safety. Therefore, in order to guarantee flight safety, airlines and aviation administration should pay more attention to pilot’s mental fatigue problems.

The value of CT-guided puncture with methylene blue mixed with autologous blood in preoperative localization of pulmonary nodules and masses was explored. A total of 113 patients with 146 nodules and masses were treated with methylene blue mixed with autologous blood for preoperative localization and thoracoscopic surgery in the Department of Thoracic Surgery, the First Affiliated Hospital of Fujian Medical University between October 2021 and October 2022. The localization effect, complications, and pathological conditions were observed. The localization success rate was 98.63% (144/146). The localization failed nodules and masses could still be located by looking for needle eyes and reading films. The whole group successfully completed thoracoscopic surgery. The average interval of operation after puncture was 22.16 ± 6.22 h. There was a small amount of suspicious hemothorax after puncture. There was no pneumothorax after puncture in the whole group. There were no hemoptysis, irritating dry cough, and other reactions. The overall complication rate was 2.65%, and no special treatment was given. It is safe and effective to use methylene blue mixed with autologous blood for CT-guided preoperative puncture and localization of small pulmonary nodules and masses.

The vulnerability assessment method is mainly used to explore the security process of a system, with wide application in the fields of hazard management, ecology and engineering. It has been gradually concerned by the oil and gas pipeline industry in recent years. Therefore, a comprehensive survey was conducted for the concepts of vulnerability, the concept development and evolution process of vulnerability was clarified,and the main connotations of vulnerability applied in different fields presently were summarized. The qualitative and quantitative vulnerability assessment methods at domestic and abroad were compared, with their advantages, disadvantages, applicable scope and key issues analyzed.Meanwhile, the application of vulnerability assessment methods in the oil and gas pipeline industry was sorted out in detail from the 3 aspects of vulnerability connotation, assessment index system and assessment method. The results indicate that the vulnerability assessment method varies with the research object and the disciplinary perspective in terms of the concept definition, the actual connotation and the assessment method. In the oil and gas pipeline industry, the vulnerability assessment method is still in the preliminary stage, and it is urgent to establish a unified vulnerability concept and assessment system for the oil and gas pipeline system. Compared with foreign research, the development of pipeline vulnerability research in China is relatively lagging, the assessment methods are mainly qualitative or semi-quantitative, and no scientific standard is available for the classification of index grades and the determination of index scores. Therefore, it is necessary to focus on the establishment and improvement of quantitative assessment models in the future.

Cultured meat is a strategic emerging industry that integrates advanced biotechnology and food technology and it may lead to industrial restructuring and development pattern transformation of the agricultural field. As the cultured meat technology develops toward commercialization, it is of great significance to analyzing the technological trend of the industry. This study first summarizes the industrial status and research progress of the core raw materials and reagents for cultured meat production, including well-bred animals, seed cells, culture media, and scaffolding materials. Then the manufacturing technology bottlenecks and the industrial competition pattern of main equipment (e.g., biosafety cabinets and bioreactors) for cultured meat production are analyzed. Furthermore, the key technology system and development trend for the large-scale production of cultured meat are reviewed, including the establishment of seed cell banks, bioprocess of large-scale cell culture, development of low-cost culture medium, and food processing technology. In view of the weakness in the cultured meat industry foundation in China, the following suggestions are proposed: (1) accelerating the localization of reagents and equipment to improve the industrial chain; (2) improving the cultured meat technical system by strengthening the international layout of intellectual property rights, (3) optimizing discipline classification while promoting education through school-enterprise integration; (4) improving risk assessment and formulating group standards, and (5) popularizing scientific knowledge to enhance the public acceptance of cultured meat.

ObjectiveTo compare the incidence of respiratory and allergic diseases in children in Xuhui District， Shanghai in 2013 and 2020， and to determine the influencing factors.MethodsAnnual average levels of air pollutants including PM2.5， PM10， O3， SO2， and NO2 were collected and described in Shanghai from 2013 to 2020. A cross-sectional survey was conducted by using a questionnaire among grade 3 to 5 students in a school in Xuhui District， Shanghai， in September 2013 and 2020， respectively. The questionnaire collected variables including living environment， daily habits， family history of respiratory and allergic diseases， and incidence of these diseases in children. Chi-square test was used to determine the difference across respiratory and allergic diseases. Logistic regression was conducted to determine the influencing factors.ResultsA total of 1 398 valid questionnaires were collected （705 in 2013 and 693 in 2020）. Compared with 2013， annual average concentrations of PM2.5， PM10， O3， SO2， and NO2 in 2020 significantly decreased. With the rapid development of economy, the increasing number of motor vehicles and the total road mileage, which leads to the increasingly prominent traffic safety problems. In order to explore the quantitative relationship between the built environment and the risk of urban road traffic safety, this paper reconstructs the built environment system based on the ‘5D' element model of the built environment combined with the factors influencing traffic safety risks, and describes the built environment from multiple aspects such as density, diversity &traffic design etc, and then build the gradient lift decision tree model to explore the importance and dependency of variables. The empirical analysis selects a district in Chongqing as the research unit, and the results show that: the RMSE the model was 0.0036, the MAPE was 1.9%, and the determination coefficient R2 was 0.84. GBDT algorithm results shows: the cumulative importance of population density, road facilities, intersection density, secondary road and branch road density, average intersection distance, land use mix, and economic density reaches 77.87%. Some variables show obvious nonlinearity and threshold effect.

The purpose of this study was to explore the value of resting-state magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) based on the brain extraction tool (BET) algorithm in evaluating the cranial nerve function of patients with delirium in intensive care unit (ICU). A total of 100 patients with delirium in hospital were studied, and 20 healthy volunteers were used as control. All the subjects were examined by MRI, and the images were analyzed by the BET algorithm, and the convolution neural network (CNN) algorithm was introduced for comparison. The application effects of the two algorithms were analyzed, and the differences of brain nerve function between delirium patients and normal people were explored. The results showed that the root mean square error, high frequency error norm, and structural similarity of the BET algorithm were 70.4%, 71.5%, and 0.92, respectively, which were significantly higher than those of the CNN algorithm (P < 0.05). Compared with normal people, the ReHo values of pontine, hippocampus (right), cerebellum (left), midbrain, and basal ganglia in delirium patients were significantly higher. ReHo values of frontal gyrus, middle frontal gyrus, left inferior frontal gyrus, parietal lobe, and temporal lobe and anisotropy scores (FA) of cerebellums (left), frontal lobe, temporal lobe (left), corpus callosum, and hippocampus (left) decreased significantly. The average diffusivity (MD) of medial frontal lobe, superior temporal gyrus (right), the first half of cingulate gyrus, bilateral insula, and caudate nucleus (left) increased significantly (P < 0.05). MRI based on the deep learning algorithm can effectively improve the image quality, which is valuable in evaluating the brain nerve function of delirium patients. Abnormal brain structure damage and abnormal function can be used to help diagnose delirium.

Studies of environmental chemistry and its related life science are essential to understand the exposure of environmental pollution to living species and the resulted health problems. During this process, mass spectrometry is an indispensably powerful tool thanks to its qualitative and quantitative abilities and remarkable mass resolution. In this review, the state-of-the art mass spectrometric methods were introduced, including inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), electron capture negative ionization mass spectrometry (ECNI-MS), electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (ESI-MS), matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (MALDI-MS), high-resolution tandem mass spectrometry (HR-MS) and native mass spectrometry (nMS) as well as mass spectrometry imaging (MSI), which have been applied in environmental chemistry and the related life science research, with an emphasis on their role in the determination, characterization, discovery and biological impacts research of environmental pollutants in the environmental media, and the related metabolites during life process. Furthermore, the trend of MS methods from fundamental to applied perspectives was outlooked, in order to solve the emerging issues, such as the ambiguous interaction mechanisms of the environmental pollutants and/or their metabolites with biomolecules. It is very much expected that novel MS-based strategy like reactive proteomics approach together with the design of new molecular ruler will help to solve the “mystery” of the environmental pollutants and/or their biological metabolites impacted on a normal physiological process, deepening our understanding on the influence of environmental pollution on health.

Biological aerosols are a special type of aerosols in the atmosphere, which have carcinogenic and teratogenic properties. Real-time detection and identification of biological aerosols is the prerequisite for biological warning and forecasting. The design of bipolar time-of-flight (TOF) mass analyzer is required to realize miniaturized vehicle bioaerosol mass spectrometer, with the mass range above 300 and mass spectrometry resolution at least 500. In this study, the exponential pulse delay elicitation technique was applied to the design of miniaturized TOF. Combined with SIMION 2020 software, the particle flight trajectory under the condition that the velocity dispersion was a Gaussian distribution with a peak value of 800 m/s and a spatial dispersion of 0.3 mm were simulated. The particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO) was used to automatically optimize the voltage and delay time of the TOF. Under the optimized delay time of 130 ns, the resolution of more than 500 could be achieved in the full mass range even if the spatial dispersion and energy dispersion were in extreme cases, and mass deviation between different particles could be controlled within 0.4 u. The impact of normal square wave pulse delay extraction and exponential pulse delay extraction on the resolution of ions formed by a single particle was compared and analyzed. The results showed that exponential pulse delay extraction improves the resolution in the full mass range significantly better than square wave pulse. The effect of particle ionization position on mass spectrometry resolution was simulated when the particle was in the center of the spot and at the limit of 0.15 mm to left and right of the spot. The result showed that the resolution was different, but still better than 500. The detection of black carbon particles showed that the miniaturized TOF could obtain a resolution of more than 500 in the full mass range, which met the resolution requirements of the vehicle bioaerosol mass spectrometer. Although the flight length of the small TOF is 67% of that of SPAMS 0525, the resolution could reach more than 1.2-1.7 times due to the use of exponential pulse delay extraction technology. This study provides a design for a small time-of-flight mass analyzer, and indicates that there is still room for further reduction the size of time-of-flight mass analyzer for the miniaturized bioaerosol mass spectrometry. This study lays a research foundation for further reduction the volume of the subsequent bioaerosol mass spectrometer.

Light industries are crucial for China’s economic and social development, and the high-quality development of these industries is conducive to promoting China’s economic and social transformation, improving the quality of residents’ lives, and forming a new development pattern in which domestic and international cycles promote each other. In this study, the basic development pattern of the light industries and major problems faced by China’s economic transformation and upgrading were analyzed, and the common strategic directions for the development of China’s light industries were summarized, including green manufacturing, high-end manufacturing, intelligent manufacturing, and industrial cluster development. Focusing on major light industry categories such as paper-making, leather, plastic processing, and fermentation industries, key engineering issues that urgently require breakthroughs were proposed, and key equipment, components, raw materials and additives, strains, and process technologies were analyzed. We suggest to promote scientific and technological progress through the construction of innovation platforms, improve relevant industrial policies, optimize development environment, and cultivate talents, thereby promoting the high-quality development of the light industries and enhancing international competitiveness.

In order to study the strength performance of the airship envelope and the influence of overpressure bearing on its residual strength, the sample forms and experiments plans for the uniaxial and biaxial tensile of the envelope material were designed, and the tearing situation of the airship was analyzed with the help of a high-speed camera. Based on the experimental data, fitted the uniaxial tensile strength curve when the airship bears air pressure, and the longitudinal and latitudinal strength envelope line of the material when it was biaxially stretched. The experimental results demonstrate that there is a negative correlation between the residual strength of the envelope and the airship bearing air pressure when uniaxially stretched, the bearing strength of the envelope is comprehensively affected by the longitudinal and latitudinal strengths when biaxially stretched. This experiment also analyzes the failure situation of the airship envelope, which can provide an experimental guidance for its strength prediction.

With the increasing importance of network security, more attention is paid to the research on network security situation awareness, while network security situation assessment is the core of situation awareness. The existing situation assessment technology has many problems, such as unitary methodology, large-scale subjective factors and so on, affecting the accuracy of situation assessment. Combined with the traditional network security technology, this paper sets up a three-layer evaluation index system, and puts forward an overall network security situation evaluation model based on hidden Markov model, PageRank algorithm and D-S evidence theory, through which, the overall situation is evaluated after using different fusion algorithms in different fusion stages. The simulation result shows that the above assessment method is more accurate and efficient than the method using single model.

Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer worldwide. Previously, we reported that calycosin, a typical isoflavone phytoestrogen, triggers apoptosis and is associated with lncRNA HOTAIR in the estrogen receptor (ER)-positive breast cancer MCF-7-cell line. In the present study, we aim to uncover the mechanism of lncRNA HOTAIR in the inhibitory effect induced by calycosin in both ER-positive and ER-negative breast cancer cell lines. Results show that calycosin significantly inhibits proliferation and triggers apoptosis in both ER-positive (MCF-7 and T47D) and ER-negative (MDA-MB-231 and SK-BR-3) breast cancer cell lines, accompanied by downregulation of lncRNA HOTAIR expression. Accordingly, knockdown of lncRNA HOTAIR promotes the anti-tumor effect of calycosin, while overexpression of lncRNA HOTAIR attenuates this effect. Meanwhile, the expression levels of HuR and IGF2BP1 are also reduced by calycosin. More importantly, calycosin facilitates the downregulation of HuR and IGF2BP1 caused by decreasing lncRNA HOTAIR expression, and the upregulation of HuR and IGF2BP1 caused by overexpression of lncRNA HOTAIR is weakened by calycosin. These results demonstrate that downregulating HuR and IGF2BP1 by suppressing lncRNA HOTAIR results in inhibited growth of breast cancer cells by calycosin. In addition, the binding of HuR and IGF2BP1 to lncRNA HOTAIR is detected by RIP assay, implying an interaction between these two proteins and lncRNA HOTAIR. Together, lncRNA HOTAIR may play a carcinogenic role in breast cancer development and has the potential to be a novel therapeutic target for breast cancer in the future, especially in isoflavone phytoestrogen therapy.

Objective To investigate the effect of vacuum sealing pressure drainage（VSD） combined with antibacterial dressing on wound healing and the expression of transforming growth factor β1（TGF-β1） and cyclin D1 in granulation tissue of diabetes foot ulcer after artificial dermis transplantation. Methods From January 2019 to June 2021, 60 patients with diabetes foot who were treated in the Burn and Plastic Surgery Department of General Hospital of Southern Theatre Command were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the observation group randomly(n=30, each). The patients in the control group received artificial dermis transplantation; On the basis of the control group, the patients in the observation group were treated with VSD and alginate dressing. The wound appearance of the two groups was observed. The levels of basic fibroblast growth factor(bFGF), epidermal growth factor (EGF) and vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) in serum, wound area, VAS score, and the levels of cyclin D1, TGF-β1 in wound tissue were measured. The exudates of the two groups were cultured for bacteria. Results The patients were followed up for 3 months. During the follow-up period, there was no ulcer recurrence in the observation group, but 5 cases in the control group. The scar hyperplasia of the patients in the observation group was light, and the skin had better elasticity and integrity. After treatment, the wound area of both groups was reduced, and that of the observation group was less than that of the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment, the coverage area and coverage rates of granulation tissue in the two groups were increased compared with those before treatment, and the observation group were higher than the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment, the VAS scores of patients in both groups decreased(P＜0.05), and the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment, the levels of serum bFGF, EGF and VEGF in the two groups increased(P＜0.05), and those in the observation group were higher than those in the control group at each time point(P＜0.05). After treatment, 5 strains of bacteria were cultured in the observation group, the bacterial infection rate was 13.33%(4/30), and 9 strains were cultured in the control group, the bacterial infection rate was 36.67%(11/30). The bacterial infection rate in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment, the levels of cyclin D1 and TGF-β1 in wound tissues of both groups increased, and those in the observation group waere higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion VSD combined with antibacterial dressing has a significant effect on wound healing of diabetes foot ulcer after artificial dermis transplantation, which can increase the levels of Cyclin D1 and TGF-β1 in granulation tissue of patients, and increase the levels of bFGF, EGF and VEGF in serum.

Liquid CO2 fracturing in low-permeability coal seams has dual gas-enhanced drainage effects of fracture reconstruction and displacement. It is a permeability enhancement technology that is easy to be used in combination with other technologies and has the potential for large-scale application. This paper proposes a theoretical system and a complete set of technical framework for fracturing and permeability enhancement of low-permeability coal seam with liquid CO2; according to the principle of stress superposition and the maximum tensile stress criterion, a model for determining the initiation pressure of liquid CO2 fracturing was established considering the change of phase state and low viscosity and strong permeability of liquid CO2 during the injection process; taking type I fracture criterion as the discriminant condition of fracture propagation, the quantitative characterizing relationship between fracturing orifice pressure and fracture propagation distance under constant fluid injection flow was established, and the influence law of fluid injection pressure, fracturing fluid viscosity and fracture occurrence on fracture propagation was clarified. On this basis, the four key parameters and their calculation methods to determine the performance of the complete set of equipment for liquid CO2 fracturing and permeability improvement in coal seam were proposed, the first complete set of equipment for underground fracturing and permeability improvement in China was developed, and the construction technology of fracturing and permeability improvement was developed, which was applied in Huainan Mining Area and Binchang Mining Area respectively.

ObjectiveTo develop a professional occupational stress scale for medical staff （CSSM） and test its reliability and validity， so as to provide a technical tool for the evaluation and management of medical staff occupational stress.MethodsThe initial index item pool was formed by literature retrieval， in-depth interview and expert evaluation. Pre-survey questionnaires were distributed in April 2021， stratified sampling was used to randomly select 1 tertiary hospital， 2 secondary hospitals and 1 community health service center in Shanghai. Sampling was performed according to the number of medical staff in all level hospitals and the proportion of doctors， nurses and medical technicians. 848 valid questionnaires were collected. Item differentiation method， correlation analysis and exploratory factor analysis were used to filter the pre-survey item pool and form a formal scale. From June to July 2021， stratified sampling method was used to carry out formal survey with formal scale， and the reliability and validity of the scale were verified. A total of 5 510 valid questionnaires were collected. Confirmatory factor analysis was used to test the construct validity of the scale. Job burnout， sleep disorder and job demand-autonomy （-support） model occupational stress scales were used as calibration scales， respectively. Pearson correlation analysis was used to test the scale's calibration validity and aggregate validity， and Cronbach's α coefficient was used to evaluate the scale's reliability.ResultsThrough project differentiation method， correlation analysis， exploratory factor analysis on the preliminary survey item pool， we produced the formal scale of 7 dimensions and 32 items， respectively， including "career development"， "interpersonal relationship"， "working overtime and work-life imbalance"， "physical environment"， "the doctor-patient relationship"， "social environment"， "work load". The cumulative variance contribution rate of common factors in exploratory factor analysis was 65.937%， and the factor loading value of each item ranged from 0.513 to 0.880. The scale was used for formal investigation to verify the reliability and validity of the scale. The goodness of fit index （GFI）， comparative fit index （CFI） and root mean square error of approximation （RMSEA） were 0.913， 0.909 and 0.064， respectively. The scores of the scale and all dimensions were positively correlated with the scores of occupational stress in the mode of job burnout， sleep disorder symptoms and job demand-autonomy （r=0.235‒0.754， P

The SHINE based on the superconducting linear accelerator is the first quasi-continuous wave hard X-ray free electron laser user facility under construction in China. It has the characteristics of high repetition rate of 1 MHz max, low bunch charge about 100 pC and large scale about 31 km. In order to reduce the decay of the output power of FEL radiation, it requires a beam position monitor (BPM) system with resolution of two hundred nanometers to realize the close interaction and energy exchange between the electron beam and the photon beam in the undulator. The BPM system that has been developed for SXFEL cannot fully meet the requirements. Therefore, based on the quantitative relationship between the relative amplitude extraction uncertainty of the cavity BPM signal and the main parameters of each subsystem, as well as the reasonable allocation of key technical indicators, a prototype of cavity BPM system was designed and developed, which consists of a Cband cavity BPM pickup, a radio frequency (RF) front-end with the character of signal-channel down converted RF signal to low intermediate frequency (IF) signal and low noise figure, and a dedicated digital BPM signal processor. As a bridge between the cavity pickup and the digital BPM signal processor, the structure and performance of the RF frontend also determine the performance of the CBPM system directly. In this paper, based on the SHINE’s demand for cavity BPM system, the key technical indicators of the RF frontend were analyzed, the scheme of amplifier switching type RF frontend was proposed, and the advantages of the RF frontend schemes with amplifier switching type and the adjustable attenuation type were compared and analyzed by the method of parametric simulation. And an offline full phaselocked sampling test bench which can simulate beam conditions is also successfully built for the first time. In addition, the beam test bench was built in SXFEL facility and the performance evaluation of the RF frontend was completed. Based on the evaluation method of power divided, the experiment results show that the position resolution can reach 71 nm under the condition of bunch charge of 100 pC and the system dynamic range of ±100 μm, which is consistent with the theoretical value and better than the design requirement of the SHINE.

ObjectiveTo investigate the method and feasibility of establishing a rabbit heart-failure model using transverse aortic constriction (TAC).MethodsTwenty-five healthy male Japanese white rabbits were randomly divided into an operation group (n=15) and a sham-operation group (n=10). The animals in the operation group underwent TAC to establish the rabbit model of heart failure. The sham-operation group underwent thoracotomy but no narrowing operation. Cardiac function was evaluated using ultrasound at 4 and 8 weeks after operation. Eight weeks after operation, the descending aortic flow velocity was detected using cardiac ultrasound, combined with molecular biological indexes and pathological observations to verify the feasibility and stability of TAC in establishing the rabbit heart-failure model.ResultsEight weeks after operation, 13 rabbits in the operation group and 10 in the sham-operation group survived. The majority patients of differentiated thyroid carcinoma (DTC) with indolent progression have general good prognosis after standard primary treatments including surgery, thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) suppression and radioactive iodine (RAI) therapy. However, there are still some patients suffered from recurrence or distant metastasis after initial treatment. They may lose the ability of uptaking iodine during their natural course of disease or treatment and could not benefit from subsequent RAI treatment, which will result in radioiodine-refractory differentiated thyroid cancer (RAIR-DTC). Options are very limited for RAIR-DTC patients, which is associated with a poor prognosis. Recently, with the research advances on the molecular mechanism of RAIR-DTC, redifferentiation combined with RAI therapy have been increasingly used to treat RAIR-DTC, and some outcomes are quite encouraging. This paper reviews the progress of signaling pathway inhibitors, histone deacetylase inhibitors, DNA methyltransferase inhibitors, retinoids and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor agonists in redifferentiating therapy of RAIR-DTC.

Objective: The effect of ultrasonic-assisted ionic crosslinking method on the peppermint capsule roundness was studied. Methods: The optimal treatment process was obtained through response surface optimization method, and the quality indicators of peppermint capsule was analyzed. Results: The results showed that, the optimum conditions of ionic crosslinking method were calcium ion mass fraction of 0.4%, soaking time of 20 min, solid/liquid ratio of 1.3∶1.0 （mL/g）. Under the conditions, the strength of wet-capsule was 11.5 N, and the roundness of capsule was 0.033 mm. The optimum conditions of ultrasonic-assisted ionic crosslinking method were: ultrasonic time of 10 min, ultrasonic power of 105 W, ultrasonic temperature of 25 ℃. Under the conditions, the strength of wet-capsule was 14.7 N, and the roundness of capsule was 0.028 mm. Conclusion: Compared with the traditional ionic crosslinking method, the strength of the wet-capsule was increased by 27.8%, the roundness of the capsule product was decreased from 0.075 mm to 0.028 mm, and the product yield was increased from 83.7% to 98.3%, which showed that the quality of the peppermint capsule was obviously improved. The ultrasonic-assisted ionic crosslinking has the advantages of simple process and high efficiency, which could provide a reference for the development of capsule preparation technology.

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of occupational stress on sleep quality and health-related productivity loss， and the mediating effect of sleep quality on occupational stress and health-related productivity loss in programmers of an Internet enterprise， in order to suggest intervention strategies for reducing health-related productivity loss.MethodsIn April 2021， a cross-sectional survey on occupational stress， sleep quality and health-related productivity was carried out among programmers in an Internet enterprise in Shanghai， with a work content questionnaire， a Pittsburgh sleep quality index questionnaire， and a work productivity and impaired activity questionnaire. Complete questionnaires were obtained from 251 individuals （response rate： 89.6%）. Osteoporosis deteriorates bone mass and biomechanical strength and is life-threatening to the elderly. In this study, we show that methyl 3,4-dihydroxybenzoate (MDHB), an antioxidant small-molecule compound extracted from natural plants, inhibits receptor activator of nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) ligand (RANKL)-induced osteoclastogenesis in vitro. Furthermore, MDHB attenuates the activation of mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) and NF-κB pathways by reducing the levels of reactive oxygen species (ROS), which leads to downregulated protein expression of c-Fos and nuclear factor of activated T cells c1 (NFATc1). We also confirm that MDHB upregulates the protein expression of nuclear factor-erythroid 2-related factor 2 (Nrf2), an important transcription factor involved in ROS regulation, by inhibiting the ubiquitination-mediated proteasomal degradation of Nrf2. Next, animal experiments show that MDHB has an effective therapeutic effect on lipopolysaccharide (LPS)- and ovariectomized (OVX)-induced bone loss in mice. Our study demonstrates that MDHB can upregulate Nrf2 and suppress excessive osteoclast activity in mice to treat osteoporosis.

The ultrafast modulation of terahertz (THz) waves is essential for numerous applications, such as high-rate wireless communication, nonreciprocal transmission, and linear frequency conversion. However, high-speed THz devices are rare due to the lack of materials that rapidly respond to external stimuli. Here, we demonstrate a dynamic THz metasurface by introducing an ultrathin superconducting microbridge into metallic resonators to form a superconductor-metal hybrid structure. Exploiting the susceptibility of superconducting films to external optical and THz pumps, we realized resonance mode switching within a few picoseconds. The maximum on/off ratio achieved is 11 dB. The observed periodic oscillation of transmission spectra both in the time and frequency domain under intense THz pump pulse excitation reveals the excitation of Higgs amplitude mode, which is used to realize picosecond scale THz modulation. This study opens the door to ultrafast manipulation of THz waves using collective modes of condensates, and highlights an avenue for developing agile THz modulation devices.

The optimum ultrasound-assisted extraction parameters of Vitamin C from Capsella bursa-pastoris was studied by Response Surface Methodology. The main factors of the extraction were selected by the Confounded Fractional Factorial test. The extraction process was optimized by Box-Behnken test. The results showed that the major influential factors of extraction were: ultrasonic time, ultrasonic temperature and material to solvent ratio. The optimum conditions were as follows: 1% oxalic acid, material to solvent ratio of 1∶10 (g/mL), ultrasonic time of 12 min, ultrasonic temperature of 32 ℃ and ultrasonic power of 100 W. In this condition, the extraction amount of Vitamin C from Capsella bursa-pastoris was (54.88±0.22) mg/100 g.

Based on the background of engineering education certification, the course objectives of “Food Processing Machinery and Equipment” were optimized by integrating the concept and standard of engineering education certification and the major training objective of Food Science and Engineering. Taking the course assessment results of 6 classes in one academic year as an example, the achievement of course objectives and the existing problems in the course of “Food processing Machinery and Equipment” were analyzed, then some suggestions on teaching reform including course objectives, teaching content, teaching methods and assessment and other aspects were proposed, so as to improve the degree of achievement of course objectives and guarantee the teaching effect.

ContextCortisol, a hormone regulated by the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis, has been linked to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The nature of the relationship between cortisol and ADHD, and whether it is causal or explained by reverse causality, remains a matter of debate.ObjectiveThis study aims to evaluate the bidirectional causal relationship between morning plasma cortisol levels and ADHD.MethodsThis study used a bidirectional 2-sample Mendelian randomization (MR) design to analyze the association between morning plasma cortisol levels and ADHD using genetic information from the authoritative Psychiatric Genomics Collaboration (PGC) database (n = 55,347) and the ADHD Working Group of the CORtisol NETwork (CORNET) Consortium (n = 12,597). MR analyses were employed: inverse variance weighting (IVW), MR-Egger regression, and weighted medians. OR values and 95% CI were used to evaluate whether there was a causal association between morning plasma cortisol levels on ADHD and ADHD on morning plasma cortisol levels. The Egger-intercept method was employed to test for level pleiotropy. Sensitivity analysis was performed using the “leave-one-out” method, MR pleiotropy residual sum, and MR pleiotropy residual sum and outlier (MR-PRESSO).ResultsFindings from bidirectional MR demonstrated that lower morning plasma cortisol levels were associated with ADHD (ADHD-cortisol OR = 0.857; 95% CI, 0.755–0.974; P = 0.018), suggesting there is a reverse causal relationship between cortisol and ADHD. However, morning plasma cortisol levels were not found to have a causal effect on the risk of ADHD (OR = 1.006; 95% CI, 0.909–1.113; P = 0.907), despite the lack of genetic evidence. The MR-Egger method revealed intercepts close to zero, indicating that the selected instrumental variables had no horizontal multiplicity. The “leave-one-out” sensitivity analysis revealed stable results, with no instrumental variables significantly affecting the results. Heterogeneity tests were insignificant, and MR-PRESSO did not detect any significant outliers. The selected single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) F were all >10, indicating no weak instrumental variables. Thus, the overall MR analysis results were reliable.ConclusionThe study findings suggest a reverse causal relationship between morning plasma cortisol levels and ADHD, with low cortisol levels associated with ADHD. No genetic evidence was found to support a causal relationship between morning plasma cortisol levels and the risk of ADHD. These results suggest that ADHD may lead to a significant reduction in morning plasma cortisol secretion.

The papillary thyroid cancer (PTC) patients have general good prognosis, but the relapse occurred in 20%-30% patients after initial treatment, which resulted in poor prognosis and treatment difficulty. 131I can act as a part of postoperative adjuvant therapy for the initial standard treatment of middle- or high-risk PTC patients, and it still could play important roles in the diagnosis and treatment of recurrent PTC. 131I can contribute to early detection, accurate location and iodine uptake evaluation of recurrence foci and is helpful for the subsequent treatment scheme. 131I can serve as a part of radical treatment for small recurrent foci, postoperative adjuvant treatment for resectable lesions and palliative treatment for unresectable ones. This paper reviews the value of 131I treatment as the adjuvant therapy followed by reoperation in recurrent PTC.

BackgroundThe Shanghai high repetition rate XFEL and extreme light facility (SHINE) accelerates electrons up to 8 GeV using cryogenic-superconducting high-frequency cavity. Wire scanner system is applied to the beam profile measurement of SHINE due to its advantages such as fewer secondary particles generation compared with that of complete beam block, hence reduce the risk of superconducting cavity.PurposeThis study aims to design data acquisition system for wire scanner system and realize synchronous acquisition of beam loss signal and relative position between the wire and beam.MethodsThe data acquisition system for wire scanner was designed to include radio frequency (RF) daughter board with analog signal digitizer, digital motherboard, firmware, data processing software. A Zynq-UltraScale+ based system on chip (SoC) was employed as system central component, and a field programmable gate array (FPGA) was used for system control and data transmission whilst the advanced RISC machine (ARM) integrating Linux was implemented for data acquisition and communication. Finally, experimental test of this data acquisition system was performed on the testbed to verify its feasibility and functionalities.ResultsThe data acquisition system can correctly read back position of grating ruler, and achieve synchronous acquisition of sample beam loss signal and signal of cavity beam position monitor.ConclusionsThe data acquisition system meets the requirements of SHINE wire scanner system. It will be applied to the prototype of SHINE wire scanner system.

Objective To explore the role and mechanism of DNase 2α on hypoxia-induced proliferation of rat pulmonary artery smooth muscle cells (RPASMCs). Methods Primary RPASMCs were cultured with 3%O2 to establish a hypoxia-induced cell proliferation model. Small interference RNA (siRNA) was used to decrease the expression of Dnase2a, and corresponding plasmids were employed to up-regulate the expression of Dnase2a and Hif1a. Cell proliferation was induced by exogenous mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA). Proline hydroxylase inhibitor ROXA was adopted to enhance the expression of HIF-1α. The proliferation of cells in each group was detected by MTS assay, the mRNA level of Dnase2a was detected by qPCR, and the protein levels of DNase 2α, proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA) and cell cycle protein D1 (Cyclin D1) were detected by Western blotting. Results Hypoxia induced the proliferation of RPASMCs and up-regulated the expression of DNase 2α. siRNA significantly decreased the expression of Dnase2a (P < 0.05) and promoted the hypoxia-induced proliferation of RPASMCs (P < 0.05), and the protein expression of PCNA and Cyclin D1 was up-regulated (P < 0.05). Overexpression of Dnase2a up-regulated the expression of Dnase2a (P < 0.05) and inhibited the proliferation of RPASMCs induced by hypoxia (P < 0.05). Exogenous mtDNA also promoted the proliferation of RPASMCs, while, overexpression of DNase 2α inhibited the above proliferation (P < 0.05). Overexpression of Hif1a or proline hydroxylase inhibitor ROXA could significantly up-regulate the protein expression of HIF-1α and DNase 2α (P < 0.05). Conclusion DNase 2α inhibits the proliferation of RPASMCs induced by hypoxia or mtDNA, whose expression induced by hypoxia is associated with HIF-1α.
