The word "plastic" is now so linked to marine deterioration that many Italian early childhoods take this word as a synonym for pollution. Children recognize that conventional plastic wastes (bags or bottles) damage marine ecosystems and affect the health of marine biota. However, most of them are unaware of the environmental damage caused by microplastics. Microplastic pollution causes global concern due to its negative consequences on the marine environment. Therefore, strategies for teaching children about microplastic pollution, its causes, and its consequences become critical to stopping this environmental issue. To achieve such goal, a story for children entitled P̈elucco, the microplastic journeyẅas developed as an illustrated book. The book explains the marvels of plastic material and the impacts of inadequate plastic disposal, which is considered one of the leading causes of microplastic pollution. The main character, Pelucco (a polyester fiber), was used to explain the introduction of microplastics into the ocean, describing how microplastics can travel through pipes and rivers and reach the ocean. Other microplastics (not fibers) were also illustrated in the story. The environmental impacts of microplastic pollution were highlighted by the journey of Pelucco and his friends from Earth to the ocean. The book concludes with pieces of advice to decrease microplastic inputs into ocean. The story has been tested with children from 3 to 6 years old (group = 115 children) and children from 6 to 11 years old (group = 42). Before telling the story, almost 94% of children did not know the contribution of plastic materials to humanity's well-being and considered plastic a synonym for pollution. Additionally, they were unaware of microplastic pollution. After hearing Pelucco's story, 100% of children recognized the marvels of plastic, described the generation of microplastics from plastic wastes, and suggested strategies to stop the ocean's microplastic pollution. Književnost i stvaralaštvo jedno je od triju nastavnih područja nastavnoga predmeta Hrvatski jezik. U kontekstu se toga nastavnoga područja promatra književna vrsta dječja priča čije je teorijsko određenje jedno od komponenti ovoga rada. Tema je ovoga rada metodička obrada, odnosno prikaz metodičkih modela triju dječjih priča u četirima metodičkim sustavima nastave književnosti: interpretativno-analitički, problemsko-stvaralački, korelacijsko-integracijski i multimedijski. Odabrane su sljedeće priče: Zeleni dar budućnosti Dragutina Horkića, Priča o priči Ante Gardaša i Zaposlena jesen Sanje Pilić. U zaključku se navodi važnost, vrijednost i nužnost pristupa dječjoj priči u različitim metodičkim sustavima u nastavi književnosti i stvaralaštva.

This research aimed to determine the effect of scrapbook child stories as a media for storytelling skills for elementary school students. This type of research was a quasi-experimental quantitative study with a pretest-posttest group design. The population of this research was second grade elementary school students of Candimulyo sub-district, involving two classes as the control class and the experimental class. The test results were then analyzed using the prerequisite test and hypothesis testing. The prerequisite test consists of the normality test using the Kolmogorov Smirnov test and the homogeneity test using the One Way Anova. Hypothesis testing using t-test with independent sample t-test. The results of the analysis were then tested using a significance level of 0.05. The results of this result showed that the control class and the experimental class had a normal and homogeneous distribution. The t-test results showed a significance level 0.05. It means that there was a significant effect of scrapbook child stories to improve storytelling skills.

This research examines four stories of Indonesian children "The Youngest Frog, Si Molek, Masarasenani and The Sun, and also Tiny Boy" by Murti Bunanta. These children's stories come from different region in Indonesia but have similarities and differences in each story. This descriptive analysis uses a stylistic approach that emphasizes the unity of story construction with the theme presented. Elements that are considered and checked are diction, style, and imagery. The result showed is the dominant diction can be seen in denotation with 49 data or 53.85 percentage. The dominant language style can be seen in asidenton language with 16 data or 25.8 percentage. The dominant or multiple images can be seen in visual images with 27 data or 36.99 percentage.

This research investigated the form and types of circumstances, translation techniques, translation quality of circumstances, and the impact of translation techniques towards the form, types and translation quality of circumstances in bilingual kids story book. This qualitative research used systemic functional linguistic approach. The data obtained was analyzed using analysis technique of Spradley. The results show that circumstances were expressed in the form of words, group of words, and prepositional phrases, having 7 types: circumstances of location, circumstances of manner, circumstances of extent, circumstances of causes, circumstances of accompaniment, circumstances of role, and circumstances of matter. The translation techniques include: single variant, couplet, triplet and quartet. Children stories vary in types and forms of circumstances, depending on the focus and plot of the stories. The translation techniques lead to either cause translation shift or translation qualities of the circumstances are of good quality in terms of accuracy, acceptability and high readability.

Bu amaç kapsamında, yazarın bütün çocuk roman ve öykülerinin biçim çözümlemesinde kapak, resimleme, boyut, kâğıt, sayfa düzeni, harfler, yazım ve noktalama unsurlarına; içerik çözümlemesinde konu, ana düşünce, olay, kahramanlar, yer ve zaman, bakış açısı ve anlatıcı, ileti unsurlarına yer verilmiştir. Eserlerin dil ve anlatım özellikleri incelenirken atasözleri, deyimler ve ikilemeler tespit edilmiştir. Araştırmada kullanılan doküman incelemeye dayalı nitel bir çalışmayı içeren yöntem uyarınca elde edilen veriler, yazarın ele alınan tüm eserleri, çocuğa ve çocuk edebiyatına bakış açısı göz önünde bulundurularak yorumlanmıştır. Bu yorumlamada eserlerde değerlendirmeye alınan içerik, dil anlatım ve ileti özellikleri göz önünde tutulmuştur. Zeynep Cemali edebiyat yaşamı boyunca sadece çocuk edebiyatıyla ilgilenmiştir. Çocuk romanı ve öykülerinden başka türde eserler vermemiştir. Yazarın çocuk roman ve öyküleri ile ilgili yaptığımız bu çalışma; onun çocuklara ve çocuk edebiyatına bakış açısını göstermesi, eserlerinin değerini ortaya koyması bakımından önemlidir., This study was conducted in order to manifest the value of the works of Zeynep Cemali, one of the last era children's literature authors, and determine her place in Turkish children's literature by examining her novels and stories with regard to the key elements of children's literature which are style, content, language and expression and message. Within the scope of this purpose, in the style analysis the elements of cover page, limning, size, paper, page layout, letters, spelling and punctuation and in content analysis the elements of topic, main idea, plot, characters, time and setting, view point and narrator, messages were included in all of the author's children's novels and stories. While language and expression features of the works were being examined, proverbs, idioms and reduplications were determined. The data which was gathered in accordance with the method including a documan study based on the content analysis was interpreted by taking all the works of the author and her point of view about children and children's literature into consideration. Content, language and expression and message features which were evaluated in these works were taken into account in this interpretation. Zeynep Cemali was interested only in children's literature in all of her life. She never generated any other types of works rather than children's novels and stories. The study we did about the children's novels and stories of the author is significant in respect to the fact that it demonstrates her point of view about the children and children's literature and appreciates the value of her works.
