We investigate the leading-twist gluonic distribution functions within the proton by formulating a light-front spectator model. The proton light-front wave functions (LFWFs) are adopted from the soft-wall AdS/QCD predictions, and the model parameters are determined using the gluon unpolarized parton distribution function from the NNPDF3.0nlo dataset. Furthermore, we demonstrated the model calculations for gluon transverse momentum distributions (TMDs) and generalized parton distributions (GPDs). Using a recently developed light-front spectator model that incorporates gluon, where the light-front wave functions are modeled from the soft-wall AdS/QCD prediction, we examine the leading twist gluon generalized parton distributions (GPDs) inside the proton. We derive the chirally even and odd distributions by using the overlap representation of the light-front wave functions. In terms of GPDs at non-zero skewness, we investigate the entire three-dimensional representation of gluons. We analyse the gluon impact parameter distributions at $\xi=0$ using the Fourier transform of GPDs. We address the total angular momentum contribution of the gluons by using the Ji's sum rule and also give our predictions for both the canonical and kinetic orbital angular momentum in the light-cone gauge., Comment: 18 pages, 9 figures

We formulate a light-front spectator model for the proton that incorporates the presence of light sea quarks. In this particular model, the sea quarks are seen as active partons, whereas the remaining components of the proton are treated as spectators. The proposed model relies on the formulation of the light-front wave function constructed by the soft wall AdS/QCD. The model wave functions are parameterized by fitting the unpolarized parton distribution functions of light sea quarks from the CTEQ18 global analysis. We then employ the light-front wave functions to obtain the sea quarks generalized parton distribution functions, transverse momentum dependent parton distributions, and their asymmetries, which are accessible in the upcoming Electron-Ion-Colliders. We present an exact evaluation of the two-photon exchange contribution to the elastic lepton-proton scattering process at low-energies using heavy baryon chiral perturbation theory. The evaluation is performed including next-to-leading order accuracy. This exact analytical evaluation contains all soft and hard two-photon exchanges and we identify the contributions missing in a soft-photon approximation approach. We evaluate the infrared divergent four-point box diagrams analytically using dimensional regularization. We also emphasize the differences between muon-proton and electron-proton scatterings relevant to the MUSE kinematics due to lepton mass differences., Comment: 5 figures

We formulate a light-front spectator model for the proton incorporating the gluonic degree of freedom. In this model, at high energy scattering of the proton, the active parton is a gluon and the rest is viewed as a spin-$\frac{1}{2}$ spectator with an effective mass. The light front wave functions of the proton are constructed using a soft wall AdS/QCD prediction and parameterized by fitting the unpolarized gluon distribution function to the NNPDF3.0nlo data set. We investigate the helicity distribution of gluon in this model. We find that our prediction for the gluon helicity asymmetry agrees well with existing experimental data and satisfies the perturbative QCD constraints at small and large longitudinal momentum regions. We also present the transverse momentum dependent distributions (TMDs) for gluon in this model. We further show that the model-independent Mulders-Rodrigues inequalities are obeyed by the TMDs computed in our model., Comment: 14 pages, 7 figures

The energy-momentum tensor (EMT) and corresponding gravitational form factors (GFFs) provide us information about the internal structure like spin, mass and spatial densities of the proton. The Druck gravitational (D-term) form factor is related to the mechanical stability of the proton and gives information about the spatial distributions of the forces inside the hadron. In this work, we study the GFFs in the framework of the light-front quark diquark model. The model has been successful to derive various properties of protons. We investigate the three-dimensional spatial distributions of proton as an Abel image of two-dimensional distributions in this model[1]. We explicitly show the global and local stability conditions which are satisfied by both 2D and 3D distributions in our model. The gravitational form factors which are obtained from the matrix elements of the energy-momentum tensor provide us information about internal distributions of mass, energy, pressure and shear. The Druck term is the least understood among all the gravitational form factors. In a light front quark-diquark model of proton, we investigate the Druck form factor. Using Abel transformation, we evaluate the 3D distribution in the Breit frame from the 2D light front distributions. We investigate the relations between transverse momentum dependent parton distributions (TMDs) and generalized parton distributions (GPDs) in a light-front quark-diquark model motivated by soft wall AdS/QCD. Many relations are found to have similar structure in different models. It is found that a relation between the Sivers function and the GPD $E_q$ can be obtained in this model in terms of a lensing function. The quark orbital angular momentum is calculated and the results are compared with the results in other similar models. Implications of the results are discussed. Upon entering physiological environments, nanoparticles readily assume the form of a nanoparticle-protein corona that dictates their biological identity. Understanding the structure and dynamics of nanoparticle-protein corona is essential for predicting the fate, transport, and toxicity of nanomaterials in living systems and for enabling the vast applications of nanomedicine. We combined multiscale molecular dynamics simulations and complementary experiments to characterize the silver nanoparticle-ubiquitin corona formation. Specifically, ubiquitins competed with citrates for the nanoparticle surface and bound to the particle in a specific manner. Under a high protein/nanoparticle stoichiometry, ubiquitions formed a multi-layer corona on the particle surface. The binding exhibited an unusual stretched-exponential behavior, suggesting a rich kinetics originated from protein-protein, protein-citrate, and protein-nanoparticle interactions. Furthermore, the binding destabilized the {\alpha}-helices while increasing the {\beta}-sheets of the proteins. Our results revealed the structural and dynamic complexities of nanoparticle-protein corona formation and shed light on the origin of nanotoxicity.
