The aim of this article is to investigate the hybrid approach of creativity, according to which some features are more domain-general whereas others are more domain-specific. The total sample consisted of 359 participants. The hybrid approach was confirmed. Whereas fluid intelligence had a domain-general importance, the role of ego-strength was very domain-specific. Ego-strength was positively involved in adaptive creativity among student architects but negatively in creativity with the social science students: whereas student architects tended to show a “scientific” creative profile, social science students showed an “artistic” creative profile. Finally, as anticipated, people from the general population demonstrated the expected profile for everyday creativity.

This article presents and combines theories and philosophies on the spiritual re-birthing and ascension process issued from psychology, comparative mythology, Jewish science, Hinduism and mystical theology, addressing the various states of the soul encountered on the way to divine union and the various ways God assists human beings in completing this process, on the personal as well as on the collective level. The analysis of the soul regeneration process ─ known as the science of the saints ─ treats about the process of human sanctification during earthly existence and eventually beyond, if the worldly lifetime does not suffice to complete this process. Furthermore, the role of the Divine Feminine in salvation history is highlighted as well as the importance of the alchemical communion between divine counterparts in the inauguration of the Millennium of Peace leading towards the New Jerusalem.

The literature on creativity has often focused on the analysis of artists and scientists. The ability to generalize these findings to respective professional sub-disciplines is examined. In particular, the present study addresses the generalizability of the personality profile of creative scientists to creative social scientists. Autonomy was found to be the most important personality feature for creativity in social sciences. These results suggest the importance of fostering an autonomous working style.

The present research investigates the cognitive and conative profile underlying scientific creativity in psychology. An innovative creativity test including both divergent and convergent thinking was used. Intelligence and personality were also measured. The sample consisted of 121 social science students. Intelligence played a major role for scientific creativity in psychology. With regard to personality, openness and negative agreeableness favored additionally scientific creativity in psychology. In future research, the profile of scientific creativity could be compared with profiles of artistic creativity and everyday creativity.

This chapter proposes an integrative model for creativity in student architects. It is inspired by several theoretical conceptions and adapted to the present population. The established model is an initial attempt to build a genuine latent model for the prediction of creativity. This approach can be adapted to different domains of creative achievement: artistic, scientific and everyday life.
