Abnormal Return merupakan salah satu indikasi bahwa adanya asimetri informasi di dalam pasar modal. Ada berbagai informasi yang dapat menyebabkan terjadinya abnormal return salah satunya adalah pengumuman Covid-19 sebagai pandemi dunia dan sampainya vaksinasi Covid-19. Penelitian ini meneliti dampak dari pengumuman tersebut terhadap sektor consumer goods. Sektor ini merupakan sektor defensif, dimana dalam keadaan krisis ekonomi sektor consumer goods tetap memiliki profitabilitas yang stabil. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan basis event study untuk melihat perbedaan return sebelum dan sesudah pengumuman Covid-19 dan vaksinasi Covid-19. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ada 5 perusahaan dengan kapitalisasi terbesar di sektor consumer goods. Hasil dari penelitian terhadap 3 variabel operasional yaitu CAR (cumulative abnormal return), CMAR (Cummulative market adjusted return), dan Difference terhadap 5 perusahaan ini mengindikasikan bahwa adanya abnormal return positif setelah event pengumuman Covid-19 dan adanya abnormal return negatif setelah event pengumuman vaksinasi Covid-19. Hal ini menandakan adanya asimetri informasi di pasar modal seputar pengumuman pandemic dan vaksinasi Covid-19.

This chapter investigates the global crisis's impact on the safe-haven role of the two most significant cryptocurrencies based on their market capitalizations: Bitcoin and Ethereum. This study compares the volatility transmission between the Bitcoin and stock markets in four emerging countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, and South Africa. This study follows the framework of volatility transmission of Diebold and Yilmas. This research also investigates the safe-haven role of cryptocurrencies using the safe-haven regression analysis and decoupling hypothesis. Overall results support the notion of cryptocurrencies as alternative investments. On average, the pairwise volatility spillover between Bitcoin and stock market in Indonesia, Malaysia, Nigeria, and South Africa reverted back to half of its mean in about 2-3 days. This result suggests on the choice of short-term investment for investors in the Bitcoin market. This study contributes to the discussion of cryptocurrencies as safe haven.

The aim of the study is to determine the strategies that can be used by Exstudio. The research method used descriptive using interview, observation, reference and documentation. Data analysis was carried out descriptively using canvas models and SWOT analysis. The results of the study showed Exstudio has a segmentation of the open market consumer segment, the consumer market (B2C) and government market. The proposition of value of Exstudio is to offer exclusive services to its clients following current trends. The channels of Exstudio's business are digital-based channels with the use of social media. Exstudio provides both pre-purchase and post-order photography and videography services. Income derived from documentation services and commission for printing orders. Exstudio resources consist of: (1) physical resources (office); (2) Human resources (core management and freelance employees); (3) Financial resources (personal capital and grant funds); and (4) Intellectual resources (brands, knowledge, partnerships, databases). Exstudio relies on its main activities namely, production, distribution, marketing and administration. The purpose of this study is to determine the position of flower bouquet on ​​the consumer perception in Lacherie Florist by using multidimensional scaling analysis (MDS). The sample in this research were 104 respondents of Lacherie Florist. Data collection used a questionnaire through Google forms. The validity test results stated that all statements were valid as well as the reliability test showed that all parameters were reliable. The results obtained from the bouquet flower were divided into four different positioning groups based on consumer perception. The results indicated that (1) Bloom Box was most different from other types of bouquet flower (2) Bloom Bag, Artificial Flowers and Snack Bouquet have similarities because they were in the same quadrant (3) Mixed Money and Flowers and Money Bouquet were the most similar type because of the position closest to each other. Perkembangan yang pesar pada teknologi menyebabkan peningkatan perkembangan pada industry smartphone serta sangat diminati oleh masyarakat Indonesia. Sejumlah 175 juta pengguna smartphone di Indonesia telah terhubung pada internet dan sebagaian besar dari mereka menghabiskan waktu lebih dari 3 jam setiap harinya untuk mengakses media sosial. Perkembangan smartphone telah menyebabkan terbukanya peluang bagi perusahaan untuk menciptakan kesadaran merek, salah satunya adalah perusahaan produsen jam tangan otomatis. Tujuan dari riset ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah Timeless.com dapat menciptakan kesadaran merek melalui pemasaran via influencer dan pemasaran via internet. Selain itu, riset ini pun bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pemasaran yang paling efektif untuk meningkatkan kesadaran merek Timeless.co. Riset ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif melalui pendekatan eksplanatif. Data riset dikumpulkan dengan metode convenience sampling dan dianalisis melalui SPSS v25. Hasil riset ini mengindikasikan bahwa pemasaran via influencer dan internet mempengaruhi kesadaran merek Timeless.co. Strategi yang efektif bagi Timeless.co adalah pemasaran via internet

Electric vehicle, as one of the low carbon footprints, has transformed a wide range of energy and public sectors. Utilizing the WHO Covid-19 pandemic statement, we search for the optimal portfolio from the top seven Electric Vehicle (EV) enterprises in ASEAN. Using the MonteCarlo simulation of optimal risky assets portfolio, we find that before and during the pandemic, the optimal portfolio weights differ significantly. Before (during) the pandemic, the investment weight of optimal portfolio consists of Toyota Motor Corporation 49.83% (42.99%), Star 8 Corporation 23.20% (9.73%), Hyundai Motor Corporation 20.81% (10.63%), BMW.DE 2.79% (32.08%), Honda Motor Company 2.56% (0.64%), Mitsubishi Motor Corporation 0.68% (0.09%), and Nissan Motor Co. 0.14% (3.84%). The Sharpe Ratio shows how during the pandemic, the portfolio of EV stocks give more excessive return compare to their risks, from 93.55% to 250.62%. These findings support the notion of how EV stocks are investible, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Highlights • We utilize the COVID-19 pandemic announcement as the setting to test the safe-haven properties of Bitcoin and Ethereum. • Bitcoin and Ethereum exhibit short-term safe-haven properties. • Ethereum is potentially a better safe-haven than Bitcoin. • However, both cryptocurrencies exhibit high volatilities., Utilizing the WHO COVID-19 pandemic statement, we test Bitcoin and Ethereum as safe-havens for stocks. We find that the two largest cryptocurrencies are suitable as short-term safe-havens. The DCC and cDCC results show that their daily returns tend to correlate with S&P500 return negatively during the pandemic. The regression results also robustly support the safe-haven features and uncover that Ethereum is possibly a better safe-haven than Bitcoin. However, we note that both coins exhibit high volatilities. Before (during) the pandemic daily volatilities of Bitcoin, Ethereum, gold, and the S&P500 are 3.44% (9.11%), 4.34% (10.96%), 0.89% (2.19%), and 1.27% (6.07%), respectively.
