Digitalization plays a key role in transforming the labor market, influencing employers' requirements and the skills needed by employees. This research explores the complexity of the relationship between digitization and workplace dynamics, highlighting the impact of emerging technologies, automation and artificial intelligence on employment structures and productivity. Bibliometric analysis helps to identify trends in employment, adapt education and training strategies, and address the challenges of the transition to a digital economy. The studies highlight phenomena such as job polarization, increasing demand for digital skills and the inequalities generated by digitalization. In this context, researchers focus on the ways in which digitization is transforming not only jobs but also the socio-economic structure, highlighting the need for adaptive policies to ensure an equitable transition in the face of these rapid changes.

The implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the achievement of the targets proposed by its Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a public awareness of all actors regarding the transition to sustainable development. This is a commitment of the European Union, given its commitment to the United Nations and its principles, as well as the desire to build a safer and better Europe for all, enshrined in the European Treaties and at the heart of European policies. Monitoring the progress of the SDGs at the level of the European Union is necessary to contribute to maximizing the progress in achieving the global objectives. For this purpose, through the present research, we want to highlight the trends regarding ensuring a healthy life and promoting the well-being of all, but also highlight the degree of fulfillment of the assumed targets through a statistical analysis of the main indicators, specific to SDG 3 at the level of the European Union. For this, we used the available European databases for the indicators selected in the research, starting from 2015 (the year of the adoption of the 2030 Agenda) and ending with the most recent statistical data. The analysis undertaken shows that some of the indicators (healthy life expectancy, perception of personal health status, standardized preventable and treatable mortality rate, self-reported unsatisfied need for examination and medical care) have been negatively affected in their evolution due to the pandemic COVID-19. If in the period before COVID19 there was progress in terms of the evolution of the main indicators of SDG 3, with the outbreak of the pandemic and, more recently, with the Russian-Ukrainian war, it is noted that the road to the proposed targets for the year 2030 has been made more difficult

Composites of magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticles dispersed in a polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) matrix were prepared by a molding process. Two types of samples were obtained by free polymerization with randomly dispersed particles and by polymerization in an applied magnetic field. The magnetite nanoparticles were obtained from magnetic micrograins of acicular goethite (α-FeOOH) and spherical hematite (α-Fe2O3), as demonstrated by XRD measurements. The evaluation of morphological and compositional properties of the PDMS:Fe3O4 composites, performed by SEM and EDX, showed that the magnetic particles were uniformly distributed in the polymer matrix. Addition of magnetic dispersions promotes an increase of thermal conductivity compared with pristine PDMS, while further orienting the powders in a magnetic field during the polymerization process induces a decrease of the thermal conductivity compared with the un-oriented samples. The shape of the magnetic dispersions is an important factor, acicular dispersions providing a higher value for thermal conductivity compared with classic commercial powders with almost spherical shapes. The paper presents the prototype of the first Romanian Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES) installation. The relatively small scale facility consists of a twin-screw compressor, driven by a 110 kW threephase asynchronous motor, which supplies pressurized air into a 50m3 reservoir, of 20 bar maximum pressure. The air from the vessel is released into a twin-screw expander, whose shaft spins a 132 kW electric generator. The demonstrative model makes use of a 5m3 water tank acting as heat transfer unit, for minimising losses and increasing efficiency and the electric power generated. Air compression and decompression induce energy losses, resulting in a low efficiency, mainly caused by air heating during compression, waste heat being released into the atmosphere. A similar problem is air cooling during decompression, lowering the electric power generated. Thus, using a thermal storage unit plays an essential role in the proper functioning of the facility and in generating maximum electric power. Supervisory control and data acquisition is performed from the automation cabinets. During commissioning tests, a constant stable power of around 50 kW with an 80 kW peak was recorded.
