O Engenharia da Computação adota-se a metodologia Aprendizagem Baseada em Problemas (PBL Problem Based Learning), vale ressaltar que além dele, o curso de Medicina da universidade também adota essa metodologia. A metodologia em questão tem como fundamento o aluno como protagonista do seu processo de aprendizagem, exercendo um papel ativo, enquanto que o tutor (sendo, nesse contexto, o professor) atua nesse processo como mediador.

This was a cross-sectional, anonymous, online survey aimed at assessing the perceptions and basic knowledge of COVID-19, a highly transmissible disease caused by SARS-CoV-2, in a sample population in the Triângulo Mineiro region, Minas Gerais, Brazil. A questionnaire devised by the researchers and distributed through social media was applied between June 16, 2020 and August 21, 2020. The survey consisted of questions about the basic aspects of COVID-19, which included symptoms, risk groups, suspicion of infection, prevention, transmission, and perception regarding social isolation. The average distribution, frequencies, similarities and differences between the responses for the different variables were evaluated. Five hundred twenty valid responses were obtained from participants aged ≥18 years. Most of the respondents showed satisfactory basic knowledge of COVID-19. Moreover, the data showed that the participants scored an average of 87.6%. Sex, age, and socioeconomic vulnerability presented a statistically significant link with knowledge of the disease; women, young participants, and the least socioeconomically vulnerable had the highest scores. This study indicated that the population in the Triângulo Mineiro region able to access social networking platforms were basically well informed regarding COVID-19, although differences were observed depending on the group analyzed. Despite the extensive quantity of scientifically recognized information, there are still conflicting discussions on how best to face the disease and the virus, especially with regard to social distancing, preventive methods, and the use of medications. Objective The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the Brazilian population’s basic knowledge about COVID-19 to demonstrate how Brazilians are managing to identify scientifically proven information. Methods A cross-sectional study design was used. An original online questionnaire survey was administered from June 16 to August 21, 2020, across all five different geopolitical regions of the country (ie, the North, Northeast, Center-West, Southeast, and South). The questionnaire was comprised of questions about basic aspects of COVID-19, such as the related symptoms, conduct that should be followed when suspected of infection, risk groups, prevention, transmission, and social distancing. The wrong questionnaire response alternatives were taken from the fake news combat website of the Brazilian Ministry of Health. Participants (aged ≥18 years) were recruited through social networking platforms, including Facebook, WhatsApp, and Twitter. The mean distributions, frequencies, and similarities or dissimilarities between the responses for the different variables of the study were evaluated. The significance level for all statistical tests was less than .05. Results A total of 4180 valid responses representative of all the states and regions of Brazil were recorded. Most respondents had good knowledge about COVID-19, getting an average of 86.59% of the total score with regard to the basic aspects of the disease. The region, education level, age, sex, and social condition had a significant association (P Conclusions Overall, Brazilians with social media access have a good level of basic knowledge about COVID-19 but with differences depending on the analyzed subgroup. Due to the limitation of the platform used in carrying out the study, care should be taken when generalizing the study findings to populations with less education or who are not used to accessing social networking platforms.

Listening to music, or part of it, may stir the memory of a past moment, along with its associated emotions, such occurrences are known as autobiographical memories. Electroencephalographic (EEG) studies have shown alterations in memory recall and musical processing. However, no research was found showing a relation among music, autobiographical memories and associated emotions. The purpose of this study was to identify cortical areas involved in the evocation of autobiographical memory (associated with positive and negative events) mediated by musical stimuli. For that, gamma rhythm was analyzed through EEG recordings performed by 45 male volunteers while they were submitted to two stimuli: 1) the music capable of recalling memories associated to a positive event; 2) the music capable of evoking memories associated to a negative event. Gamma band analysis was used in search of greater brain electrical activity. As results, researchers observed increased activity in right brain hemisphere during the musical processing, besides its hypoactivation when volunteers were submitted to musical stimuli related to memories of negative events.

Objetivo: Analisar as características e incidência do trauma vesical durante cinco anos em um hospital geral do estado de Alagoas. Métodos: Estudo quantitativo, analítico, observacional e transversal, foram utilizados métodos de estatística descritiva para análise das variáveis. Resultados: Foram encontradas lesões vesicais em 63 pacientes, obteve-se análise dos prontuários nos anos de 2010 a 2015. Média de idade de 26,2 anos, com extremos entre 15 e 56 e desvio padrão de 9,85 (intervalo de confiança de 95%). A maioria era (76,2%) do sexo masculino. O trauma penetrante foi responsável por 65,07% dos casos, sendo em sua maioria (97,56%) decorrente de lesão por arma de fogo. O método diagnóstico foi predominantemente intraoperatório (82,53%). As lesões mais frequentes foram de cúpula vesical (23,8%), parede anterior e posterior (11,11%). O tratamento de escolha foi cirúrgico em 88,89% e conservador nos demais. A taxa de mortalidade global no trauma vesical foi de 7,93% a sobrevida média de 88,87%. Conclusão: Os dados encontrados são, em sua grande parte, condizentes com a literatura mundial para o trauma vesical, diferindo quanto a etiologia, método diagnóstico e a terapêutica adotada. Tais distinções, podem ser justificadas pelas características locais e do hospital estudado.

Rifaximin is an oral antimicrobial, semisynthetic and nonabsorbable with minimal adverse effects that act locally in the gastrointestinal tract. Rifaximin does not have standardized methods of analysis for the tablets evaluation in official compendiums. The objective of this study is to develop and validate an analytical method for the quantification of rifaximin in tablets by spectrophotometry in the ultraviolet region, aiming at a miniaturized and eco-friendly method. The method was performed using 700 μL cuvette and purified water: ethanol (4:1, v/v) as diluent. The wavelength used was 233 nm and the range of concentrations was 4-14 µg mL-1. It was linear with correlation coefficient greater than 0.9999, precise with relative standard deviation equal 0.80%, 1.19% and 1.19% for intraday, interday and interanalyst precision, respectively, exact with average recovery of 100.56%, selective against the presence of interferents such as impuruties, matrix compouds and solvents used and robust with the change of ethyl alcohol brand and proportion used as diluent. The method developed presents advantages as, minimum waste generation, reduction in amount of sample, standard and solvents used and reduction in time of analysis. Then this method can be used in rotine analysis of rifaximin tablets as a alternative method, reliable, effective, really fast, low cost, eco-friendly and miniaturized. This study contemplates a current and innovative topic which is extremely important for the area of Quality Control of drugs and medicines and for the sustainable Green Analytical Chemistry.

Este relato de experiência baseia-se em um projeto sobre contos de horror, realizado no âmbito do Pibid Letras Unicamp, em uma escola pública de Campinas (SP), com alunos de 8º e 9º anos. Partindo da afinidade dos alunos com filmes e séries de terror como uma forma de aproximar a literatura a seus universos, o objetivo geral do projeto foi um aprofundamento no gênero conto de horror, com foco em habilidades de leitura e escrita e a produção de contos autorais. Com base em Dolz e Schneuwly (2004), focamos em partes do conto separadamente, estudando cenário, personagem, enredo e efeitos que o horror pode transmitir, que não se restringem apenas a medo ou suspense. Tais aulas foram intercaladas com leituras em voz alta e discussões de autores brasileiros, como Lygia Fagundes Telles e Humberto de Campos, e estrangeiros, como Edgar Allan Poe e H. P. Lovecraft. Em seguida, partimos para a escrita e reescrita de histórias de terror, com a formação de uma antologia dos contos das turmas, dada a cada aluno e à biblioteca da escola na conclusão do projeto. Foi um processo de constituição de autoria e de alteridade, como explica Cosson (2018) sobre o trabalho literário na escola. O trabalho partiu da concepção bakhtiniana de linguagem, entendida como interação, situada no mundo.
