This paper evaluates whether Reflecting Team Practices (RTP) are a helpful tool to a team (i) undergoing change and (ii) to facilitate staff being heard across the hierarchy. We hypothesised that RTP would enable staff to speak and be listened to, in relation to their experiences of organisational restructuring. We offered three team away‐day and follow‐up processes. Due to the paucity of systematic research in this area, we designed a qualitative process, utilising individual interviews with four team members aged 30–59 years. Interview data were analysed using thematic analysis. Thematic analysis yielded seven themes, which enabled understanding of our team's experiences of separating talking and listening. It has also led to wider changes in our teams functioning and our communication with other parts of the organisation in which we work. We write this paper as DClinPsy staff who have implemented Association of Family Therapy and Systemic Practice (AFT) Foundation and Intermediate level accreditation embedded within DClinPsy training. We describe the context and landscape in which this has happened, the positives we believe it brings and the challenges we have faced along the way. We offer suggestions for courses on this journey of approaches, methods and techniques that we have found helpful, and reflect on our next steps. Within the paper we include the voice of a trainee who is completing this training currently and consider what clinical psychologists in the NHS can do to support trainees and courses in achieving systemic secondary accreditation. Background National and international polices promote the acceptance, integration and inclusion of people with intellectual disabilities into mainstream society. However, there is little systematic research into general population attitudes towards people with intellectual disabilities, and even less research, which considers the impact of culture on attitudes. The aim of this study was to explore how young people from White British and South Asian backgrounds differ in their attitudes towards people with intellectual disabilities and above all, how they arrive at their beliefs. Materials and Method A qualitative design utilizing focus groups and individual interviews with White British and South Asian adolescents aged 16-19 years ( N = 61) was employed. Questionnaire data were collected to compare this sample to findings from a larger study run concurrently (Attitudes to people with intellectual disabilities: a cross cultural study. Thesis, University College London). Interview and focus group data were analysed using thematic analysis. Results Thematic analysis yielded five themes and pointed to widespread confusion about the concept of 'intellectual disability', not helped by the continuing invisibility of people with intellectual disabilities in the media. Participants expressed many positive beliefs, yet closer analysis revealed that underlying these may be more ambivalent or even hostile attitudes. Key differences between the two cultural groups are discussed. Conclusions The findings highlight the need for raising public awareness and the importance of culturally sensitive support. The World Health Organization has identified excessive COVID-19 pandemic–related information as a public health crisis, calling it an "infodemic." Social media allows misinformation to spread quickly and outcompete scientifically grounded information delivered via other methods. Dear Pandemic is an innovative, multidisciplinary, social media–based science communication project whose mission is to educate and empower individuals to successfully navigate the overwhelming amount of information circulating during the pandemic. This mission has 2 primary objectives: (1) to disseminate trustworthy, comprehensive, and timely scientific content about the pandemic to lay audiences via social media and (2) to promote media literacy and information-hygiene practices, equipping readers to better manage the COVID-19 infodemic within their own networks. The volunteer team of scientists publishes 8-16 posts per week on pandemic-relevant topics. Nearly 2 years after it launched in March 2020, the project has a combined monthly reach of more than 4 million unique views across 4 social media channels, an email newsletter, and a website. We describe the project's guiding principles, lessons learned, challenges, and opportunities. Dear Pandemic has emerged as an example of a promising new paradigm for public health communication and intervention. The contributors deliver content in ways that are personal, practical, actionable, responsive, and native to social media platforms. The project's guiding principles are a model for public health communication targeting future infodemics and can bridge the chasm between the scientific community and the practical daily decision-making needs of the general public. This article provides immunization recommendations from the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) for adults aged 19 years or older. The purpose of the immunization schedule is to consolidate and summarize updates to ACIP recommendations on vaccination of adults and to assist providers in implementing current ACIP recommendations.
