The environmental changes are an important consequence of the negative impact of human activity. Companies are focusing more and more on developing sustainable practices, decreasing their waste and carbon emissions. Individuals have started to become more conscious about their consumption behaviors. In the last years, an increased level of spirituality is related with conscious behavior. Spiritual individuals have an enhanced level of empathy thus learning in their spiritual process to care more about the environment and other beings. Although the transformation regarding sustainability is visible, its rhythm is not fast enough to avoid significant damages on the planet. The main cause to this issue might be that consumers are not constant in their responsible behavior. We want to identify if individuals’ behavior is due to the fear of judgement or out of consciousness about the beneficial impact on society. Therefore, we have created a questionnaire and distributed it randomly online on social media groups to discover what motivates individuals towards a sustainable conduct. The purpose of the article is to find out if individuals that pursue spiritual teachings or spirituality have a more sustainable behavior than individuals who do not. Is social media a beneficial source of information with regards to sustainability? This paper is helpful for people and companies who activate in the sustainability field and other related domains.

Background Study: Peer feedback has been used as an effective instructional strategy to enhance students' learning in higher education. Objectives: This paper reports on the findings of an explorative study that aimed to increase our understanding of the nature and role of peer feedback in the students' learning process in a computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) setting. Exploring what types of feedback are used, and how they relate to each other and are related to academic performance has important implications for students and teachers. Methods: This study was conducted in the higher education setting. It used a dataset consisting of student peer feedback messages (N = 2444) and grades from 231 students who participated in a large engineering course. Using qualitative methods, peer feedback was coded inductively. Epistemic network analysis (ENA) was used to analyse the relation between peer feedback types and performance. Results: Based on the five types of peer feedback (i.e., 'management', 'cognition' 'affect', 'interpersonal factors' and 'suggestions for improvements'), the results of the ENA showed that student feedback categories 'management', 'cognition' and 'affect' were positively related to student performance at the formative assessment phase. Conclusions: The findings and the ENA visualizations also show that 'suggestions for improvement' and 'interpersonal factors' were not a significant part of student learning in peer assessment and feedback in the studied context.

Nowadays, the use of smartphones has become essential for daily activities that have either a personal or professional purpose. A large number of resources is necessary for both the production and the use of these devices, which means that solutions in terms of sustainability are needed. The purpose of this research is to highlight the concept of sustainability when talking about smartphones, as well to underline the possibilities that exist for the consumers. This study examines the habits of young consumers in Romania, the reasons behind a mobile phone replacement, and the factors that influence the purchase decision. The methodology section follows quantitative and qualitative market research. An analysis was performed in order to have a deep understanding of trends in terms of mobile phone ownership and preferred brands. This study also provides a general view on the neglectfulness of the young population of Romania regarding the dangers to which the environment is exposed because of the purchasing habits that go against sustainability. For accomplishing this purpose, important results have been discovered through the analysis of the data obtained from self-administered questionnaires and interviews. The results show that people are usually using only one mobile phone at a time and they change it once every two years for sustainability and financial reasons. The same applies when it comes to choosing a certain brand. The reasons behind the purchase of a new phone and the decisions regarding an old one are based on healthy principles of the circular economy and sustainability. The preferences in terms of technology and design, and the decision process are correlated with incomes.

A great interest has developed over the last several years in research on interstitial Cajal-like cells (ICLCs), later renamed to telocytes (TCs). Such studies are restricted by diverse limitations. We aimed to critically review (sub)epicardial ICLCs/TCs and to bring forward supplemental immunohistochemical evidence on (sub)epicardial stromal niche inhabitants. We tested the epicardial expressions of CD117/c-kit, CD34, Cytokeratin 7 (CK7), Ki67, Platelet-Derived Growth Factor Receptor (PDGFR)-α and D2-40 in adult human cardiac samples. The mesothelial epicardial cells expressed D2-40, CK7, CD117/c-kit and PDGFR-α. Subepicardial D2-40-positive lymphatic vessels and isolated D2-40-positive and CK7-positive subepicardial cells were also found. Immediate submesothelial spindle-shaped cells expressed Ki-67. Submesothelial stromal cells and endothelial tubes were PDGFR-α-positive and CD34-positive. The expression of CD34 was pan-stromal, so a particular stromal cell type could not be distinguished. The stromal expression of CD117/c-kit was also noted. It seems that epicardial TCs could not be regarded as belonging to a unique cell type until (pre)lymphatic endothelial cells are inadequately excluded. Markers such as CD117/c-kit or CD34 seem to be improper for identifying TCs as a distinctive cell type. Care should be taken when using the immunohistochemical method and histological interpretations, as they may not produce accurate results.
