Board of Education or the career of slavery in the Caribbean. Can materialist analysis also explain recent events such as the conservative right's 2020-2022 attack on Critical Race Theory? This article suggests that it can and that recent events, such as the pandemic, Trump's electoral defeat, and school closures set the stage for the surprising attack.
