This article focuses on the taxation structure and new legislative bills for tax aids in the U.S. On February 22, 1944, the U.S. President Franklin Delano Roosevelt commented in writing on the 1943 tax bill which was supposed to be the first veto of a tax measure in American history. Roosevelt denounced the 1943 bill as replete with provisions which not only afford indefensible special privileges to favored groups but set dangerous precedents for the future. But the 1954 tax bill, reportedly, is chock-full of tax bonanzas, dwarfing those in the 1943 bill. This new bill has provisions of dividend exemption and it witness the child-care deduction for working wives, widows, and widowers.
