Research has been conducted on the 5-trifluoroacetoxy-5-heptafluoropropylcyclopentadiene. Results indicate that this compound rearranges to the isomeric trifluoroacetate with the rate constant less than that for the solvolysis of the 5-CH (sub)3 derivative.
