Abstract: Preliminary results on e + e − → 3 π , 4 π , ω π 0 , η π + π − , p p ¯ , n n ¯ cross sections obtained with SND detector at VEPP-2000 collider are reported. The data were collected in 2010–2011 in the energy range 2 E = 1.0 – 2.0 GeV .

Abstract: Preliminary results of the first experiments at the new VEPP-2000 e + e − collider are presented. The experiments have been carried out in the center of mass energy range 1–2 GeV with instant luminosity 10 30 – 10 31 cm − 2 s − 1 and total integrated luminosity of about 10 pb − 1 . The main e + e − annihilation cross sections, π + π − π 0 π 0 , π + π − π 0 , π 0 π 0 γ , a n d π + π − η , have been measured. The cross section of nucleon–antinucleon production is also presented.

The analysis is based on data with integrated luminosity of 2.8 pb − 1 , collected in 2011 by the SND detector at the VEPP-2000 e + e − collider in the energy range above nucleon production threshold.

Abstract: The new tracking system of the Spherical Neutral Detector for experiments at the VEPP-2000 e + e - collider in Novosibirsk is described. The system consists of a 9-layer drift chamber with 24 jet cells and a proportional chamber in a common gas volume. Main system features are its small size and high density of readout channels for gaseous tracking systems at colliding experiments. The drift chamber provides at least four measurements along the track for charged particles within 94% solid angle and nine measurements for particles propagating at large angle relative to the beam axis. R - ϕ coordinates (in a plane perpendicular to the beam axis) are obtained using the ionization drift time measurement. Longitudial coordinates are measured using charge division on anode wires and charge distribution on cathode strips. Design angular resolutions for radial tracks are σ ϕ = 0 . 26 ∘ , σ θ = 0 . 3 ∘ , the vertex resolution is σ R = 0.2 mm . The full-size prototype of the tracking system has been assembled and tested. The wire structure of the prototype represents one quadrant of the chamber. Results of the prototype assembly quality control and tests with radioactive sources and cosmic rays are presented. They are in a good agreement with expected system parameters.

Abstract: We propose to measure the nucleon timelike form factors in the near threshold region in reactions e + e − → p p ¯ and e + e − → n n ¯ . The experiment will be carried out at the VEPP-2000 e + e − collider with the maximum center of mass energy 2000 MeV. Two detectors SND and CMD-3 are intended for these measurements. Nucleon timelike form factors are considered and estimations of the expected accuracy are given.

Abstract: We present a measurement of the $e^+e^-\to K_SK_L$ cross section in the energy range $\sqrt{s}=1.04 \div 1.38$ GeV. For the energy $\sqrt{s}\geq 1.2$ GeV the cross section exceeds vector meson dominance model predictions with only $\rho(770)$, $\omega(783)$, and $\phi(1020)$ mesons taken into account. Measured cross section agrees well with previous measurements.

Abstract: The process e + e − → η′γ, η′ → η π0π0, η → γγ is investigated by an SND detector in experiment on a VEPP-2M equipment with colliding electron-positron beams. The analysis of experimental data yields a value of B(ϕ → η′γ)=(6.7 −4.2 +5.0 ±1.5)×10−5 for the decay probability. Taking into account a previous measurement of this quantity by an SND detector in the decay channel η′ → π+π−η, one finally obtains B(ϕ→η ′γ)=(6.7 −2.4 +2.8 ±0.8)×10−5.

Abstract: Results of the study of the e+e-->pi0 gamma process with SND detector at VEPP-2M collider in the c.m.s. energy range sqrt(s)=0.60-0.97 GeV are presented. Using 36513 selected events corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 3.4 pb^-1 the e+e-->pi0 gamma cross section was measured. The energy dependence of the cross section was analyzed in the framework of the vector meson dominance model. The data are well described by a sum of phi,omega,rho0->pi0 gamma decay contributions with measured decay probabilities: Br(omega->pi0 gamma)=(9.34+-0.15+-0.31)% and Br(rho0->pi0 gamma)=(5.15+-1.16+-0.73)*10^-4 . The rho-omega relative interference phase is phi(rho,omega}=(-10.2+-6.5+-2.5) degree.

Abstract: Spherical Neutral Detector (SND) is a general purpose non-magnetic detector for experiments at VEPP-2000 e + e − collider in Novosibirsk in the energy range 2 E = 0.4 – 2.0 GeV . Charged particle track coordinates are measured using drift and proportional chambers placed in a common gas volume. Particle identification is performed using energy deposition in the drift chamber at low particle momenta p ⩽ 300 MeV and aerogel threshold counters at high particle momenta p ⩾ 300 MeV . Photon energies are measured using 3-layer spherical electromagnetic calorimeter. Muons penetrating the detector and cosmic background muons are detected by the muon system based on proportional tubes and plastic scintillator counters. At present the detector is operating at VEPP-2000.

Abstract: The e + e − → π 0 π 0 γ process was studied in the SND experiment at VEPP-2M e + e − collider in the energy region 0.60–0.97 GeV. From the analysis of the energy dependence of measured cross section the branching ratios B ( ω → π 0 π 0 γ )=(6.6 +1.4 −0.8 ±0.6)×10 −5 and B ( ρ → π 0 π 0 γ )=(4.1 +1.0 −0.9 ±0.3)×10 −5 were obtained.

Abstract: The conversion decays φ→ηe+e− and η→γe+e− were studied by the SND detector using φ-meson production in e+e−-annihilation at VEPP-2M collider. The branching ratios of these decays were measured: Br(φ→ηe+e−)=(1.19±0.19±0.07)×10−4 and Br(η→γe+e−)=(5.15±0.62±0.39)×10−3. The e+e−-pair mass spectra and transition form factors were also studied.

Abstract: We present measurements of time-dependent CP-violating asymmetries in neutral B decays to several CP eigenstates. The measurement uses a data sample of 23x10(6) Upsilon(4S)-->BbarB decays collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric B Factory at SLAC. In this sample, we find events in which one neutral B meson is fully reconstructed in a CP eigenstate containing charmonium and the flavor of the other neutral B meson is determined from its decay products. The amplitude of the CP-violating asymmetry, which in the standard model is proportional to sin2beta, is derived from the decay time distributions in such events. The result is sin2beta = 0.34+/-0.20 (stat)+/-0.05 (syst).

Abstract: A search for direct production of C-even resonances a2(1320) and f2(1270) in e+e- annihilation was performed with SND detector at VEPP-2M e+e- collider. The upper limits of electronic widths of these mesons were obtained at 90% confidence level: Gamma(a2(1320) \to e+e-) < 0.56 eV, Gamma(f2(1270) \to e+e-) < 0.11 eV., 6 pages, 5 figures, 1 table. Abstract: The $e^+e^-\to\eta\gamma\to 7\gamma$ process was studied in the energy range $2E=600\div 1060$ MeV with an SND detector on a VEPP-2M $e^+e^-$ collider. The decay branching ratios $B(\phi\to\eta\gamma)=(1.343\pm 0.012\pm 0.055)\cdot 10^{-2}$, $B(\omega\to\eta\gamma)=(4.60\pm 0.72\pm 0.19)\cdot 10^{-4}$, and $B(\rho\to\eta\gamma)=(2.69\pm 0.32\pm 0.16)\cdot 10^{-4}$ were measured.

Abstract: In the SND experiment at VEPP-2M $e^+e^-$ collider the $\phi(1020)\to\pi^0\pi^0\gamma$ decay was studied and its branching ratio was measured: $B(\phi\to\pi^0\pi^0\gamma)=(1.221\pm 0.098\pm0.061)\cdot10^{-4}$. It was shown, that $f_0(980)\gamma$ intermediate state dominates in this decay and the $f_0(980)$-meson parameters were obtained.

Abstract: The $e^+e^- \to \omega \pi^0 \to \pi^0 \pi^0 \gamma$ process was investigated in the SND experiment at the VEPP-2M collider. A narrow energy interval near the $\phi$-meson was scanned. The observed cross-section reveals, at the level of three standard deviation, the interference effect caused by $\phi \to \pi^0\pi^0\gamma$ decay. The cross-section parameters, as well as the real and imaginary parts of the $\phi$-meson related amplitude, were measured.

Abstract: The process e+e- ->pi+pi- has been studied with the SND detector at VEPP-2M e+e- collider in the vicinity of phi(1020) resonance. From the analysis of the energy dependence of measured cross section the branching ratio B(phi->pi+pi-)=(7.1+-1.1+-0.9)*10^{-5} and the phase psi_pi=-(34+-4+-3)degrees of interference with the non-resonant pi+pi- production amplitude were obtained.

Abstract: In the experiment with the SND detector at VEPP-2M e^+e^- collider the process $e^+e^-\to\pi^+\pi^-\pi^0$ was studied in the energy range 2E_0 from 1.04 to 1.38 GeV. A broad peak was observed with the visible mass $M_{vis}=1220\pm 20$ MeV and cross section in the maximum $\sigma_0\simeq 4$ nb. The peak can be interpreted as a $\omega$-like resonance $\omega (1200)$.

The product of branching ratios of phi meson into leptons \sqrt{B(phi->mu^+mu^-) B(phi-> e^+e^-)}=(3.14+-0.22+-0.14)x10^{-4} was measured from the interference in the cross section of the process e^+e^- ->mu^+mu^-. Abstract: The reaction e^+e^- ---> OMEGA+PI0 ---> PI+PI- 2PI0 has been studied with SND detector at VEPP-2M e^+e^- collider in the vicinity of the PHI(1020) meson resonance. The observed interference pattern in the energy dependence of the cross section is consistent with existence of the decay PHI ---> OMEGA+PI0 with a branching ratio of B(PHI ---> OMEGA+PI0)=(4.8+1.9-1.7+-0.8)x10^{-5}. The real and imaginary parts of the decay amplitude were measured. The PHI ---> OMEGA+PI0 decay was observed for the first time.

Abstract: In the SND experiment at the VEPP-2M electron-positron collider the PHI(1020)--->PI0+PI0+GAMMA decay was studied. The branching ratio B(PHI--->PI0+PI0+GAMMA)=(1.14+-0.10+-0.12)x10^{-4} was measured. It was shown, that the F0(980)GAMMA mechanism dominates in this decay and the 4-quark model of F0(980) describes our data most consistently.

Abstract: The general purpose spherical nonmagnetic detector (SND) is now taking data at VEPP-2M $e^+e^-$ collider in BINP (Novosibirsk) in the centre of mass energy range of $0.2 ÷1.4$ GeV. The energy calibration of the NaI(Tl) calorimeter of the SND detector with cosmic muons is described. Using this method, the energy resolution of $5.5 % (\sigma)$ for 500 MeV photons was achieved.

Abstract: The parameters of a cylindrical scintillation counter of 126 mm in diameter and 370 mm in length with wavelength shifter (WLS) fiber readout are presented. The fibers are glued into machined grooves along the scintillator. Light from both ends of the WLS fibers is transmitted to separate photomultipliers by 1 m long clear optical fibers. The average total signal, collected from both sides of the counter is equivalent to 8 photoelectrons per minimum ionizing particle. The described cylindrical scintillation counter is a part of inner system of collider detector SND.

Abstract: The Cryogenic Magnetic Detector (CMD-2) and Spherical Neutral Detector (SND) operated at the VEPP-2M electron-positron collider in the c.m. energy range 360-1380 MeV. The total integrated luminosity above 60 pb–1 has been collected by both detectors. The cross sections of hadronic production have been measured with high precision. Abstract: Preliminary results of the SND experiment at the VEPP-2000 e+e− collider are presented. Data corresponding to about 40 pb−1 of integrated luminosity were collected in the e+e− c.m. energy range from 1.05 to 2.00 GeV. The cross sections for e+e− → ωπ0, π+π−4π0, pp¯${m{par p}}$, nn¯${m{nar n}}$ have been measured.

Abstract: The cross section of the process $e^+e^- \to K^+K^-$ was measured in the energy range $\sqrt{s}$ = 1.04--1.38 GeV in the SND experiment at the VEPP-2M $e^+e^-$ collider. The measured cross section is described by the model of vector meson dominance with contributions from the light vector mesons $\rho$, $\omega$, $\phi$ and their lowest excitations. The mean statistical accuracy of the measurement is 4.4 %, and the systematic uncertainty is 5.2 %.

Abstract: In the experiment with the SND detector at the VEPP-2M ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ collider measuring the ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\eta}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ cross section in the energy range $0.6l\sqrt{s}l1.38\text{ }\text{ }\mathrm{GeV}$ the reanalysis of data is performed. The goal is to improve the accuracy of the previous results by analyzing ambiguities in the approximation of energy dependence of the ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\eta}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ cross section, which were not taken into account in our previous study. We report new results on the approximation of the ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}\ensuremath{\eta}\ensuremath{\gamma}$ cross section based on the vector dominance model under new model parameter assumptions.

Abstract: In experiment with the SND detector at VEPP-2M $e^+e^-$ collider the $e^+e^-\to\eta\gamma$ cross section was measured in the energy range $E$=0.60--1.38 GeV with the integrated luminosity of 27.8 pb$^{-1}$. The measured cross section is well described by the vector meson dominance model with contributions from the $\rho(770)$, $\omega(783)$, $\phi(1020)$, $\rho^{\prime}(1465)$ resonances and agrees with results of previous measurements. The decay probabilities $\BR(\phi\to\eta\gamma)$, $\BR(\omega\to\eta\gamma)$ and $\BR(\rho\to\eta\gamma)$ were measured with the accuracies better than or comparable to the world averages.

Abstract: The first-level trigger (FLT) of the 1632 channel NaI(Tl) scintillation calorimeter of the SND detector at the VEPP-2M collider is described. The FLT utilizes signals from individual calorimeter towers to check the event topology for particular combinations of hit towers with certain distances between towers, number of clusters and their sizes in different parts of the SND calorimeter. The pipeline FLT logic works with a clock rate of 16 MHz which is the collider beam crossing frequency. The latency time of the FLT decision is 500 ns. During the 1995 SND data taking run, the FLT reduced the 100 kHz background rate to 40 Hz.

Abstract: The review of the SND results of the e+e− → π+π−π0 process study in the energy range s = 0.42 − 1.38 GeV at VEPP‐2M collider, based on about 2 × 106 selected events, is presented. The total cross section, parameters of the ρ, ω, φ, resonances, and ω′, ω″ states were obtained. It was found that ρπ and ωπ0 intermediate states describe the reaction dynamics. The experimental data cannot be described by a sum of only ω, φ, ω′ and ω″ resonances contributions. This can be interpreted as a manifestation of the ρ → 3π decay, suppressed by G‐parity, with relative probability B(ρ → 3π) = (1.01 ±0.360.54±0.034) × 10−4.

Abstract: The cross section of the process ${e}^{+}{e}^{\ensuremath{-}}\ensuremath{\rightarrow}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{\ensuremath{-}}{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{0}$ was measured in the Spherical Neutral Detector (SND) experiment at the VEPP-2M collider in the energy region $\sqrt{s}$ below 980 MeV. This measurement was based on about $1.2\ifmmode\times\else\texttimes\fi{}{10}^{6}$ selected events. The obtained cross section was analyzed together with the SND and DM2 data in the energy region $\sqrt{s}$ up to 2 GeV. The $\ensuremath{\omega}$-meson parameters ${m}_{\ensuremath{\omega}}=782.79\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.08\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.09\mathrm{MeV},$ ${\ensuremath{\Gamma}}_{\ensuremath{\omega}}=8.68\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.04\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.15\mathrm{MeV},$ and $\ensuremath{\sigma}(\stackrel{\ensuremath{\rightarrow}}{\ensuremath{\omega}}3\ensuremath{\pi})=1615\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}9\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}57\mathrm{nb}$ were obtained. It was found that the experimental data cannot be described by a sum of only $\ensuremath{\omega},$ $\ensuremath{\varphi},$ ${\ensuremath{\omega}}^{\ensuremath{'}},$ and ${\ensuremath{\omega}}^{\ensuremath{''}}$ resonance contributions. Abstract: The cross section of the process $e^+e^-\to \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0$ was measured in the Spherical Neutral Detector experiment at the VEPP-2M collider in the energy region $\sqrt[]{s} = 980 \div 1380$ MeV. The measured cross section, together with the $e^+e^-\to \pi^+\pi^-\pi^0$ and $\omega\pi^+\pi^-$ cross sections obtained in other experiments, was analyzed in the framework of the generalized vector meson dominance model. It was found that the experimental data can be described by a sum of $\omega$, $\phi$ mesons and two $\omega^\prime$ and $\omega^{\prime\prime}$ resonances contributions, with masses $m_{\omega^\prime}\sim 1490$,$m_{\omega^{\prime\prime}}\sim 1790$ MeV and widths $\Gamma_{\omega^\prime}\sim 1210$, $\Gamma_{\omega^{\prime\prime}}\sim 560$ MeV. The analysis of the $\pi^+\pi^-$ invariant mass spectra in the energy region $\sqrt[]{s}$ from 1100 to 1380 MeV has shown that for their descriptionone should take into account the $e^+e^-\to\omega\pi^0\to\pi^+\pi^-\pi^0$ mechanism also. The phase between the amplitudes corresponding to the $e^+e^-\to\omega\pi$ and $e^+e^-\to\rho\pi$ intermediate states was measured for the first time. The value of the phase is close to zero and depends on energy.

Abstract: The B(0) lifetime was measured with a sample of 23 million BB pairs collected by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II e(+)e(-) storage ring during 1999 and 2000. Events from the semileptonic decay B(0)-->D(*-)l(+)nu(l) have been selected with a partial reconstruction method in which only the charged lepton and the slow pi from the D*--->D(0)pi(-) decay are reconstructed. The result is tau(B(0)) = 1.529+/-0.012(stat)+/-0.029(syst) ps.

Abstract: We present results from a search for the flavor-changing neutral current decays B-->Kl(+)l(-) and B-->K(*)l(+)l(-), where l(+)l(-) is either an e(+)e(-) or mu(+)mu(-) pair. The data sample comprises 22.7 x 10(6) Upsilon(4S)-->B(-)B decays collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II B Factory. We obtain the 90% C.L. upper limits B(B-->Kl(+)l(-)) K(*)l(+)l(-)) Ke+/-mu(-/+) and B-->K(*)e(+/-)mu(-/+).

Abstract: We report the results of a search for T, CP, and CPT violation in B^0-B^0 mixing using an inclusive dilepton sample collected by the BABAR experiment at the PEP-II B factory. Using a sample of 232×10^6 BB pairs, we measure the T and CP violation parameter |q/p|-1=(-0.8±2.7(stat)±1.9(syst))×10^(-3), and the CPT and CP parameters Imz=(-13.9±7.3(stat)±3.2(syst))×10^(-3) and ΔΓ×Rez=(-7.1±3.9(stat)±2.0(syst))×10^(-3) ps^(-1). The statistical correlation between the measurements of Imz and ΔΓ×Rez is 76%.
