The development prospect of pumped storage power stations (PSPP) in China is analysed in this paper on the basis of summarize of the development history of PSPP in China and abroad, and combined with the development characteristics of PSPP, and from the point of view of the geographical distribution, the development trend of future energy and national policy, then the factors restricting the development of PSPP are analysed from the aspects of incentive mechanism and electricity price policy. It also puts forward some suggestions to promote the healthy and sustainable development of PSPP, in order to provide reference for the related research of PSPP.

The rapid development of wind power and photovoltaic power in East China has gradually eroded the margin of safe operation of the power grid in recent years. A Wind-PV-ES power system evaluation model is established in this paper, It simulates the production process of Wind-PV-ES power system, and the reasonable capacity ratio of scenery of Wind and PV, the reasonable matching plan and coordinated operation of Wind-PV-ES were carried out. This model effectively evaluates the impact and benefits of Wind-PV-ES power system In East China. The ultimate aim is to provide references for future energy structure adjustment in East China.

The reliability of external power is of great significance to the protection of regional power, with the continuous development of grid structure, the ability of accept external power has been greatly improved. However, the continuous increase of the external power has posed new challenges to the power consumption and the peak regulation and the safe and stable operation of the power grid. According to the present situation and development planning of East China Power Grid, the influence of large-scale external power on East China Power Grid is analysed. The results show that the external power sent to East China Power Grid in the future should not be too large, and East China Power Grid should speed up the construction of pumped storage power stations, and give full play to the role of platform, and comprehensively configure and utilize external power sources in the area, which can promote the safe and stable operation of the power grid.

The rapid development of renewable energy such as wind power and solar energy promotes the rapid growth of demand for distributed energy storage. However, the high investment cost of energy storage equipment limits the development of distributed energy storage (ES). In this context, in order to solve this problem, the cloud energy storage (CES) is proposed, which is a shared pool of grid-scale ES resources that provides storage services to home consumer. Firstly, we analyze the operation mechanism and business model of the CES. Secondly, the basic operation model is established about the CES. By comparing with the traditional consumer-side energy storage operation model, it can be concluded that the CES can effectively reduce the energy storage investment cost and operation cost under the premise of satisfying the consumers' charge and discharge requirements. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by a practical example.

Root colonization by endophytic fungus Piriformospora indica facilitating growth/development and stress tolerance has been demonstrated in various host plants. However, global metabolomic studies are rare. By using high-throughput gas-chromatography-based mass spectrometry, 549 metabolites of 1,126 total compounds observed were identified in colonized and uncolonized Chinese cabbage roots, and hyphae of P. indica. The analyses demonstrate that the host metabolomic compounds and metabolite pathways are globally reprogrammed after symbiosis with P. indica. Especially, γ-amino butyrate (GABA), oxylipin-family compounds, poly-saturated fatty acids, and auxin and its intermediates were highly induced and de novo synthesized in colonized roots. Conversely, nicotinic acid (niacin) and dimethylallylpyrophosphate were strongly decreased. In vivo assays with exogenously applied compounds confirmed that GABA primes plant immunity toward pathogen attack and enhances high salinity and temperature tolerance. Moreover, generation of reactive oxygen/nitrogen species stimulated by nicotinic acid is repressed by P. indica, and causes the feasibility of symbiotic interaction. This global metabolomic analysis and the identification of symbiosis-specific metabolites may help to understand how P. indica confers benefits to the host plant.
