The cable-fairing assembly is an important part of the aircraft, which bears a large amount of aerodynamic and thermal loads during high-speed flight. The internal cable of such assembly is an important channel for information transmission between various systems and an important component to ensure signal input and output. In this paper, a painting process for the inner surface of cable-fairing assembly was discussed. The process flow contained spraying of inner thermal insulation layer, cable fixing and cable potting, which provided a process guarantee for the reliability of products. The performance test results of the cable-fairing assembly after painting showed that the shear strength of the thermal insulation coating on the inner surface, the mechanical properties of the potting body and the electrical properties of the cable all met the design index requirements.

Aiming at further solving the environmental corrosion problem faced by aircraft metal structure materials, TiCrN films were deposited on the surface of 15-5PH stainless steel by multi-arc ion plating technology. The phase composition and corrosion morphology of the samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Additionally, the environmental corrosion resistance of TiCrN films was studied by means of neutral salt spray, acid salt spray, marine atmospheric environment sun exposure and temperature and humidity environment test. Results showed that the corrosion of film of 15-5PH sample belonged to pitting corrosion in neutral salt spray, acid dry wet salt spray and marine atmospheric exposure environment, and the corrosion of the substrate belonged to uniform corrosion. Compared with neutral salt spray and marine atmospheric exposure environment, hydrogen and chloride had a significant synergistic effect in acid salt spray test, which exhibited stronger corrosion to TiCrN film. After temperature and humidity environmental test, the surface of the TiCrN film was flat and smooth, without cracks, holes, bumps, and other defects. In general, TiCrN film deposited on the surface of 15-5PH stainless steel had certain environmental corrosion resistance and could meet the requirements of temperature and humidity environment test in relevant standards.

Prior to the introduction of COVID-19 vaccines, patients with severe mental illness (SMI) were at greater risk of COVID-19-related outcomes than the general population. It is not yet clear whether COVID-19 vaccines have reduced the risk gap. We systematically searched nine international databases and three Chinese databases to identify relevant studies from December 2020 to December 2023 to compare the risk of COVID-19-related outcomes for SMI patients to those without SMI after vaccination. Random effects meta-analysis was performed to estimate the pooled odds ratio (OR) with 95% confidence intervals (CI). Subgroup analysis, sensitivity analysis, and publication bias analysis were conducted with R software 4.3.0. A total of 11 observational studies were included. Compared with controls, SMI patients were associated with a slightly increased risk of infection (pooled OR = 1.10, 95% CI, 1.03–1.17, I2 = 43.4%), while showing a 2-fold higher risk of hospitalization (pooled OR = 2.66, 95% CI, 1.13–6.22, I2 = 99.6%), even after both groups have received COVID-19 vaccines. Limited evidence suggests a higher mortality risk among SMI patients compared to controls post vaccination, but the findings did not reach statistical significance. SMI patients remain at increased risk compared to their peers in COVID-19-related outcomes even after vaccination. Vaccination appears an effective approach to prevent severe COVID-19 illness in SMI patients, and actions should be taken by healthcare providers to improve vaccination coverage in these vulnerable groups. Macroautophagy/autophagy and apoptosis are pivotal interconnected host cell responses to viral infection, including picornaviruses. Here, the VP3 proteins of picornaviruses were determined to trigger autophagy, with the autophagic flux being triggered by the TP53-BAD-BAX axis. Using foot-and-mouth disease virus (FMDV) as a model system, we unraveled a novel mechanism of how picornavirus hijacks autophagy to bolster viral replication and enhance pathogenesis. FMDV infection induced both autophagy and apoptosis in vivo and in vitro. FMDV VP3 protein facilitated the phosphorylation and translocation of TP53 from the nucleus into the mitochondria, resulting in BAD-mediated apoptosis and BECN1-mediated autophagy. The amino acid Gly129 in VP3 is essential for its interaction with TP53, and crucial for induction of autophagy and apoptosis. VP3-induced autophagy and apoptosis are both essential for FMDV replication, while, autophagy plays a more important role in VP3-mediated pathogenesis. Mutation of Gly129 to Ala129 in VP3 abrogated the autophagic regulatory function of VP3, which significantly decreased the viral replication and pathogenesis of FMDV. This suggested that VP3-induced autophagy benefits viral replication and pathogenesis. Importantly, this Gly is conserved and showed a common function in various picornaviruses. This study provides insight for developing broad-spectrum antivirals and genetic engineering attenuated vaccines against picornaviruses. The P91 weld joint used in the experiment is re-tempered according to the heat treatment process. The effect of tempering times on its mechanical properties, including that at room temperature and high temperature, was then investigated in relation to the evolution of its microstructure using optical microscopy (OM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), selected area electron diffraction (SAED), and tensile tests. Results indicate that the strength at room and high temperature of the heat affected zone increases first and then decreases with an increase in tempering times. In addition, the microstructure is still tempered sorbite that reserves the orientation of lath martensite, and the main phases are the α-Fe phase and Fe-Cr phase. After being tempered once, its high-temperature tensile strength reaches a maximum of 232.66 MPa. These improved mechanical properties relate to the dispersed distribution of niobium and vanadium carbonitride precipitate particles, dislocation tangles, and dense metastable dislocation networks. With the increase of tempering times, the distribution of Cr23C6 precipitates gradually undergoes a change from being isolated to displaying a continuous manner in the grain boundaries; this can embrittle the grain boundary and reduce the strength while improving toughness.
