The phenomenon of credit risk is one of the main distresses for the bank portfolio. If it becomes nonviable to gather claims from various main clients, a bank could persist in being insolvent. The latest financial crises have distinguished the necessity for a bank to identify, measure, assess, and control credit risk, in addition to providing an acceptable degree of capital to protect against possible decline in case of loan defaults. Accordingly, risk management depends steadily on the straight implementation of mathematical and statistical methods and models and the application of their outcomes for business goals. The aim of this paper is to present the disclosures that are related to bank credit risk, bearing in mind that credit risk management is one of the indicators of the results of banking operations.

This paper builds on research by [20] and examines the influence of eWOM on factors such as social norms, initial trust, perceived usefulness, ease of use, attitude and intention of using mobile banking in the territory of Serbia. The survey was conducted by online and offline questionnaires completed by 501 respondents. The analysis was performed using SPSS22 and AMOS22 tools, where structural equation model (SEM) was used to test the direct influence of eWOM on social networks on the attitudes and intentions of clients to use mobile banking services. In response to the problem, we found a set of factors that influence the attitude and intention of clients to use mobile banking, which managers can emphasize when creating a marketing strategy. Ovaj rad se nadovezuje na istraživanje [20] i ispituje uticaj eWOM komunikacije na faktore kao što su socijalne norme, početno poverenje, uočena korisnost, jednostavnost upotrebe, stav i namera korišćenja mobilnog bankarstva na teritoriji Srbije. Anketa je sprovedena pomoću onlajn i oflajn upitnika koji je popunio 501 ispitanik. Analiza je izvršena pomoću alata SPSS22 i AMOS22, gde je model strukturne jednačine (SEM) korišćen za testiranje direktnog uticaja eWOM komunikacije na društvenim mrežama na stavove i namere klijenata da koriste usluge mobilnog bankarstva. Kao odgovor na problem pronašli smo skup faktora koji utiču na stav i nameru klijenata da koriste mobilno bankarstvo, što menadžeri mogu naglasiti prilikom kreiranja marketinške strategije.

The objective of this paper is to show that a successful implementation of accounting represents infrastructural support for successful management therefore its content and structure should be more closely monitored in the function of increasing the effectiveness of the financial management, and not just in the function of execution of the objectives in the budget. The paper indicates that the essence of the reform of the accounting system and financial reporting by public sector entities is the use of the concepts and principles on which the financial reporting by private sector entities is based, or the transition to the financial reporting based on accrual accounting. Public sector managers who often do not see themselves as managers who manage available resources, but rather as managers who pursue a policy of some of the specialized public sector functions, need instead to be fully engaged in the financial management and control.

The aim of this paper is to indicate the importance of economic cooperation for the development of regional economy of CEFTA countries and achieving better results using advantages of joint projects and access to third markets. As a free trade agreement, CEFTA has facilitated increased cooperation in the region, particularly among traditional partners that welcome the use of zero-rate customs. Ten years after signing the agreement, marked by constant improvement of trading terms between partners, CEFTA members have to find new ways to increase their trade in the conditions of economic stagnation and expand it with the EU countries. New synergies have to be achieved in order to raise trade above the current level. Also, every CEFTA member has to make an effort to resolve political conflicts and remove any nontariff barriers that could limit current cooperation. Finally, the importance of CEFTA is paramount for accession of each Western Balkan country to the EU.

The aim of this paper is to present different models for predicting the possibility of opening bankruptcy proceedings in companies in Serbia, as well as to research which models are most suitable for companies in the agricultural sector. In this paper, we have used and displayed three models: the Altman’s Z-score model, Kralicek’s DF model and Quick test. Many authors have dealt with this issue, but most of them have developed models for developed markets, which are different from market of Serbia. Striving towards improving the analysis and prediction of bankruptcy has led to comparison of the reference value, in order to obtain concrete models for the evaluation of difficulty in the functioning of the company. In this connection, on a sample of five companies operating on the territory of the Republic of Serbia, we have applied three models that used standard financial indicators to show the financial condition and stability of the company. Results suggest that Kralicek’s DF model indicates better financial state of the company than Altman’s Z-score model, considering the characteristics of the market in which the model is formed. Cilj ovog rada je prikazivanje različitih modela za predviđanje mogućnosti otvaranja stečajnog postupka u kompanijama u Srbiji, kao i istraživanje koji modeli su najpogodniji za kompanije iz sektora poljoprivrede. U radu su korišćena i prikazana tri modela: Altmanov Z-score model, Kralicekov DF model i Quick test. Ovom tematikom se bavilo dosta autora, međutim, većina njih je razvijala modele na razvijenim tržištima, koja se razlikuju od tržišta Srbije. Težnja ka unapređenju analize i predviđanja stečaja dovela je do upoređivanja referentnih vrednosti, da bi se na kraju došlo do konkretnih modela za procenu poteškoća u funkcionisanju preduzeća. S tim u vezi na uzorku od pet preduzeća koja posluju na teritoriji Republike Srbije, primenili smo tri modela koji koriste standardne finansijske pokazatelje za prikazivanje finansijskog stanja i stabilnosti preduzeća. Rezultati ukazuju da Kralicekov DF model ukazuje na bolje finansijsko stanje preduzeća nego što je ono prikazano Altmanovim Z-score modelom, upravo zbog karakteristika tržišta na kome je model formiran.

The aim of this paper is to provide the current situation of mobile banking implementation in Serbia. M-banking has changed the traditional business model which users are practiced in the use of banking services in the traditional manner. Mobile banking has allowed an increase in the number of existing distribution channels that banks used to offer their services. Following the tendencies of development of new services, banks in Serbia are increasingly opting to offer their banking services via mobile phones. Based on the analysis conducted herein, we find that 70% of banks that are operating in the banking system offers its clients m-banking services. Services are offered with much lower commission than traditional banking, thus leading to the dramatic increase in m-banking users in the last three years. Mobile banking plays the central role in the future of banking development.

During the fi rst several years of an engagement, the quality of auditors’ services typically increases, which can be attributed to the so-called learning eff ect. With the further passage of time, however, an overly close relationship between the client and the auditor tends to develop, which results in a decrease in the auditor’s independence. Some commonly reported issues stemming from the resulting lack of independence are (IFAC, 2006): 1) self-interest threat, 2) self-review threat, 3) advocacy threat, 4) familiarity or trust threat) and 5) intimidation threat.
