2. Vocational Teacher's Inclination to Impart Values in Vocational Training: The Importance of Pedagogical-Didactical and Psychological Factors

- Abstract
The purpose of this paper was to present empirically tested model of the importance of vocational teachers' pedagogical-didactical and psychological factors for inclination to impart their value positions in vocational education. 346 vocational teachers from 27 vocational training institutions and colleges in Lithuania completed paper-pencil questionnaires. A correlation study was designed to determine the extent to which the pedagogical-didactical and psychological determinants are related to values education. The results of Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) indicated 7 significant factors on the inclination of vocational teachers to convey values to learners in vocational education and training. Teachers' efforts to provoke or cause emotions in students during didactical processes, as well as matching students' practical experience and open teaching strategies were identified as the most important pedagogical-didactical factors for teacher's inclination to impart values education. Teachers as pedagogical experts were more concerned with values education than were teachers as didactical or subject matter experts. Important psychological factors included vocational teachers' personality traits of openness to experience and conscientiousness as well as extrinsic social motivation that were significantly related to teacher's inclination towards values education. To our knowledge, this research is the first comprehensive attempt to evaluate the importance of pedagogical-didactical and psychological factors on the inclination of vocational teachers to convey values to learners in vocational education and training. In the future, longitudinal studies are needed to make causal inferences regarding the hypothesized relationships among the variables.

4. Factors that Impact Quality of E-Teaching/Learning Technologies in Higher Education

- Abstract
The article analyzes and assesses factors that have impact upon the quality of eTeaching/learning technologies in higher education; it is on their basis that the concept of eTeaching/learning quality is denied. Research data about the students' motives in choosing various teaching/learning technologies for the development of their competence are presented together with teacher possibilities to create interactive virtual environments that motivate eTeaching/learning. The obtained research revealed that verbal and interactive technologies based on explanatory illustrational method are more favoured by both students and teachers who aim at study quality. Higher education teachers, aiming at achieving better eTeaching/learning quality, integrate the elements of these technologies into traditional methodologies, developing a blended distance education model. This article aims to describe the institutional and pedagogical factors of vocational education and training (VET) provider practices targeted to empower vulnerable students to learn and be employed in Lithuania and Latvia. The research methodology and design are based on the comparative study approach involving desk research, case studies and by applying focus group interviews with representatives of the VET institutions' teaching, support and administrative staff. The research revealed the central role of VET teachers and other teaching staff members in empowering at-risk VET students, as well as the issue of staffing levels and building capacity needs when empowering an increasing volume of at-risk students in VET schools. These schools seek to empower students by abandoning standardization and the narrow specialization of skills and increasing the use of the individual approach in pedagogical practices. Emphasis is placed on expanding the scope and individualization of the applied pedagogical practices for at-risk students. Increased attention is being paid to the living conditions of at-risk students outside school; addressing students' social problems, the development of key skills and attitudes, coaching and methods of individual co-operation. Plėtojant profesinio ugdymo turinio metodologines prieigas straipsnyje analizuojamos darbo instrumentinės, socialumo-individualumo darnos, prestižo, pažinimo ir tobulėjimo vertybės. Tyrimo, kuriame dalyvavo profesinių mokyklų mokiniai, metu nustatyti statistiškai reikšmingi skirtumai lyties požiūriu pažinimo ir socialumo-individualumo darnos vertybių grupėse. Profesijos pedagogams įasmeninant dėstomų dalykų turinį santykių pasaulio vertybėmis mokiniai pastarąsias įprasmina savo gyvenimo būdu. The article analyses the instrumental, social-individual coherence, prestige, cognition, and improvement values of the work, which allows disclosing relevant methodological approaches to the content of vocational education. It is stated that during vocational training, work is usually presented to students not as a value, but as a technological process, with little attention paid to knowing the value context of the work. Therefore, the learning of work technological processes often does not take place in the context of the student’s critical thinking and reflection, during which little attention is paid to the survival of the emotional significance of the work of the student’s chosen profession. To ensure the validity and reliability of the results of the research object quantitative (questionnaire survey) and qualitative (case study) research strategies were used. The study involved 495 students from 27 Lithuanian vocational schools. The study found statistically significant differences between gender in the groups of values of cognition and social-individual coherence. As a result, work often does not become a psychological structure of the student’s value position, which manifests itself in the psychological structure of work values, beliefs, interests, and needs. In such circumstances of cognition of professions, instrumental values, which are characterized by the values of salary, safe, interesting, engaging, and individual-friendly work, are usually established in the curriculum.

Research problem – Today the quality of vocational education and training (VET) and especially the quality of the didactic process in VET highly depend on the capabilities of VET teachers to structure knowledge and skills they impart when dealing with the increasing volume of vocational and professional knowledge, and also on their capability to integrate the requirements of occupation and needs of students when coping with the challenges posed by fast technological development and changing student identity. The goal of this study is to explore the role and potential of key competences of VET teachers and how their development could equip VET teachers with the above-mentioned capabilities. The research methodology is based on both quantitative and qualitative research methods. The quantitative study was carried out by using a standardised questionnaire. Such a study helps disclose the personality traits of VET teachers, ways of their professional development and specific characteristics of their educational process. The participants in this research were VET teachers from different VET schools in Lithuania. Research data were analysed by using mathematical-statistical methods: descriptive statistics, nonparametric hypothesis testing, and factor analysis. Qualitative research was carried out by interviewing VET teachers from different VET schools and centres in Lithuania. Key competences and their development significantly contribute to the development of professional identity and personality factors of VET teachers. There is a direct and positive interdependency between the development of key competences of VET teachers and the quality of didactics, pedagogy and the expertise of VET teachers in the given occupational field. Key competences help VET teachers to shape and develop their professional identity and to cope with the current methodological and organisational challenges in the fields of curriculum design, organisation of training processes (including application of contemporary educational technologies), and vocational didactics.

Švietimo ir verslo organizacijose integruojant technologijomis grįsto mokymosi priemones, svarbu yra identifikuoti tuos pažinimo (epistemologinės) struktūros skirtumus, kurie yra sąlygoti skirtingo amžiaus besimokančių asmenų interaktyvaus ir kokybiško pažinimo aplinkybių. Pastarosioms identifikuoti buvo atliktas tyrimas, kurio tikslas – nustatyti švietimo ir verslo organizacijose technologijomis grįsto ugdymo turinio, kuris įgyvendinamas pedagoginės ir andragoginės sąveikos metu, ypatumus. Tyrimai byloja, kad švietimo ir verslo organizacijose besimokančių asmenų interaktyvaus ir kokybiško technologijomis grįsto pažinimo skirtumus lemia skirtingos pažinimo formos. Švietimo organizacijose interaktyvų technologijomis grįstą ugdymo turinį užtikrina jo įasmeninimo veiksniai bei pažinimo organizavimas kognityvinės, emocinės, jutiminės ir praktinės pažinimo formų lygmeniu. Verslo organizacijose vyrauja kognityvinė pažinimo forma, kurios metu suaugusieji dažniausiai renkasi refleksyviojo – patirtinio mokymosi elementus. Suaugusiųjų technologijomis grįstas ugdymo turinys gali būti neįasmenintas. Tyrimas finansuojamas Europos socialinio fondo lėšomis pagal visuotinės dotacijos priemonę (projektas – VP-1.3.1-ŠMM-07-K-03-045). Integrating technology-based learning tools into business and educational institutions, it is important to identify epistemological differences that are preconditioned by the circumstances of interactive and high-quality cognition. The research was carried out aiming to reveal the aspects between the pedagogical and andragogical interaction applying technology-based learning tools in business and educational institutions. Studies have shown that in business organizations and educational institutions differences in curriculum cognition are due to the interactive, high-quality, technology- based forms of studies. Personalization elements and enhancement of cognitive knowledge warrant an interactive technology-based curriculum in educational institutions at cognitive, emotional, sensual and practical perception levels. Business organizations give priority to cognitive form of perception that is often realized by adults applying the elements of reflective and experiential learning. Technology-based curriculum for adult education can be impersonalized.

The relevance of this research is based on the standpoint of the epistemological methodology focusing on the quality of the profession cognition. Therefore, it is presumed that the quality of vocational education is determined by the variable personality traits of teachers (extraversion, openness towards experience and innovation, consciousness, agreeableness, neuroticism). The research object of the current study is the correlation between the personality traits of university of applied sciences teachers and vocational teachers and the curriculum components. The research aims at identifying the correlation between the motives of vocational school and university of applied sciences teacher activities, educational technologies they use, professional roles and their personality traits, as well as identifying the essential differences of the mentioned variables. The quantitative and qualitative research strategies were employed allowing the researchers to perceive and assess the parameters of the correlation between the professional identity of teachers, meaningfulness in pedagogical work, motivation and educational content. The research results revealed that the social, extrinsic, introjected and identified regulation motivation in vocational schools and universities of applied sciences vary considerably; in universities of applied sciences social and identified regulation motivations manifest themselves, whereas in vocational schools a lot of demotivating factors related to the problems of vocational student identity, career prestige of a vocational teacher and external motivation, are observed. The role of vocational school and university of applied sciences teachers in the didactic process also varies: university of applied sciences lecturers identify themselves in the position of the teacher-andragogue, whereas vocational school teachers see their role as a professional (expert). Moreover, the principles of social constructivism in pedagogy and andragogy are more effective among university of applied sciences lecturers, while vocational school teachers often have to rely on the behaviouristic principles of pedagogy for educational assessment and the enhancement of student motivation. Smart educational technology in the learning process at a vocational training institution directly correlates to the pedagogical and methodological preparation of teachers and their practical experience. The pedagogical preparation determines better learning outcomes, effective social and cultural expressions, and more qualitative guidance of the didactic process. In addition, teachers with the help of technology have the opportunity to draw attention to each student, help the learner to know himself and his or her field of professional expression. This case study examined the ability of vocational teachers to use various technologies in class. Study was conducted in five rural vocational training schools in Lithuania. Twenty five vocational teachers were interviewed using focus group interview format about their smart educational technology usage in teaching and contacting their students. Teachers were observed manipulating, transforming and allocating appropriate digital media, adapting teaching content and easily forming teaching-learning networks to achieve educational goals. Overall, the process described here showed that regardless of how long vocational teachers work at a rural school and what subjects they teach, mostly teachers communicated and collaborated through technologies with their students while presenting vocational teaching content. Finally, the technological competence of vocational teachers reflected the teacher's ability to carry out a certain vocational teaching process: the ability to perform technological operations, the skill to work with various materials, equipment and the mentoring capacity. Šio straipsnio autoriai tyrė, kiek sėkmingos karjeros asmenims svarbios socialinio konstruktyvizmo ir holizmo filosofija pagrįstos vertybės.Tam buvo tikrinamos dvi hipotezės: pirmoji, kad sėkmingos karjeros asmenims darbo turinys, atsakomybė bei pozityvių socialinių santykių palaikymo vertybės yra svarbesnės nei finansinis atlygis už darbą ir, antroji - kad vyrai dažniau nei moterys, savo karjerą nurodo kaip sėkmingą, nes moterų karjerą labiau riboja šeimos veiksniai. Tyrime dalyvavo darbo patirtį turintys 224 respondentai. Tyrimai pagrindžia nuostatą, kad dominuojančią pragmatiškąją karjeros metodologinę poziciją būtina diversifikuoti plėtojant pozityvistinės psichologijos ir filosofijos idėjas, nes sėkmingos karjeros asmenims darbo turinys, atsakomybė bei pozityvių socialinių santykių palaikymo vertybės yra svarbesnės nei finansinis atlygis uždarbą.Tyrimai taip pat rodo, kad ekonominių karjeros motyvų dominavimas keičiasi tais atvejais, kai darbo turinio, atsakomybės ir socialinių santykių palaikymo vertybės karjeroje pasireiškia kartu ir joms būdingas permanentiškumo požymis. Sėkmingos karjeros tiriamųjų samprotavimuose išskirtas individo socialiai reikšmingų gyvenimo vaidmenų kontekstas sąlygoja ugdymo karjerai metodologijoje tikslingiau vartoti sėkmingos karjeros sąvoką, teigiant, kad sėkminga karjera - tai esminių žmogaus socialiai reikšmingų vaidmenų realizacija darnos kontekste Generally the description of career development methodology and its valuable context gives prominence to professional self-expression motifs based on the philosophy of pragmatism. However, the research in phenomenological cases of a successful career distinguishes the trend which marks that the subjects tend to see their life quality and career success in a qualitative dimension, which marks experienced emotions, rather than in quantitative dimensions (the quantity of tangible products). With this research the authors aimed to evaluate the amount of importance the respondents give to professional self-expression and a career value system, which are based on the philosophy of social constructivism and holism. During the investigation the following hypotheses have been tested: with the dominance of an economical (financial) motif career is usually seen as an unsuccessful; in case an individual is focused on the job content, career is evaluated as a successful; in case an individual considers his/her career a success, economical (financial) motif dominance can be replaced by the job content, responsibility and support of social relations values; self-expression factors in the family are generally seen as the factors of an unsuccessful career, therefore, men more frequently consider their career a success than women. 224 respondents whose working experience varies from 5 to 30 years participated in the research. The investigation used both a quantitative (a questionnaire based on motivation theories) and a qualitative research (a structured interview). With them the investigation aimed to evaluate the groups of factors of professional self-expression motivation and support. During the assessment of career motivation assumptions the research has evaluated the factors increasing the respondents' emotional satisfaction with their achievements, as well as the factors of recognition, employer's gratitude, changes in job content, career development and economical factors. In the assessment of career support assumptions the research has analyzed job dissatisfaction and the factors causing career (relationships with managers, factors of financial motifs, as well as the factors of quality of life in the family, consistency of social relations and cooperation between colleagues). The investigation revealed that the persons assess their career as a successful, in case there is a possibility to sustainably express the following components of professional self-expression: the employer's recognition and gratitude; the economical (financial) factors of professional selfexpression; responsibility and relationship with the manager; a positive development of career and achievements; the job content and cooperation, as well as a qualitative life in the family. The research also showed that the economical career motifs could be changed by job content, responsibility and the support of social relations in case an individual considers his career as a success. The analysis of the research data determined a negative statistically significant relationship between the expression of economical motif and job content (r = -0,318, p = 0,001), responsibility (r = -0,403, p = 0,000) and cooperation (r = -0,431, p = 0,000)

Straipsnyje apibendrinami profesinio ugdymo metodologinių idėjų ir paradigmų tyrinėjimai gėrio bendrybės, kaip esminės dorovės kategorijos, kontekste. Gėrio samprata apibendrinta atsizvelgiant į skirtingą asmenų profesinio meistriskumo raidos etapą, parodant gėrio kategoriją hedonizmo, pragmatizmo, konstruktyvizmo, progresyvizmo, humanizmo ir holizmo filosofijų kontekste. Svarbia ugdymo ir rengimo gyventi rinkos sąlygomis prielaida laikoma asmens individualumo ir socialumo dama profesinėje raiškoje, atspindinti holistinę gėrio kategorijos sampratą. Straipsnyje analizuojamos ir svarbiausios profesinio ugdymo metodologijos sąvokos, kuriomis pabrėžiamas holistinio gėrio ir profesinės raiškos darnos kontekstas. Aptariama galimybė sureikšminti holistinio gėrio sampratos filosofinį kontekste profesinio ugdymo metodologinėse paradigmose siekiant kritiškiau vertinti profesinėje raiškoje dominuojančią pragmatiškąją gėrio kategorijos sampratą. The article aims to summarize the author's research on methodological concepts and paradigms of vocational training in the context of abstraction of good as a category of morale. It provides a summary of the concept of good in various development stages of professional skills and shows it in the context of philosophies of hedonism, pragmatism, constructivism, progressivism, humanism and holism. Personal harmony of individuality and sociability in job performance is recognised as an important precondition for education and training for life in market conditions, which reflects a holistic concept of the category of good. According to the theoretical and empirical research, the author also discusses the opportunities to make the philosophical context of holistic good more important in the paradigms of vocational training and to refiect it in the terms "vocation", "competence" and "qualification". The research indicates that respondents considering their professional carrier relate their expectations with the holistic philosophy of goodness conception. Therefore the author suggests that in key methodological concepts of professional development, mainly competence, occupation and career, the dimensions of holistic category of goodness were expressed more than pragmatic (economic). Thus in designing vocational curriculum, learners will be more focused on sustainable living values.

Straipsnyje analizuojamos edukacinių technologijų raidos tendencijos ir jų naudojimo objektyvieji ir subjektyvieji veiksniai, kurie toliau aptariami kompetentingų ir inovatoriškų dėstytojų, rengiančių kvalifikuotus specialistus žemės ūkio sektoriaus profesijoms (tame tarpe ir vadybos), veiklos sričių tyrimo rezultatų kontekste. Pastarieji byloja, kad inovatoriško dėstytojo veikla pasižymi ne tik siekiu plėtoti ekonomines naujoves studijų turinyje, bet ir studento kompetentingumo raiškos skatinimu, užtikrinant studentų pažinimo refleksiją, profesijos objekto mokymąsi santykyje su savo asmenybe, studentų kritinį mąstymą, kūrybiškumą, atsakingumą, studento individualumo ir socialumo raiškos darną. Teigiama, kad inovatoriški dėstytojai projektuodami savo pedagogines technologijas daug dėmesio skiria studentų kompetencijų ugdomojo vertinimo sistemai. The article "The Attributes of Educational Technologies Possessed by Innovative Teachers" analyzes the developmental tendencies of educational technologies and its operational objective and subjective factors, which are further disputed in the context of the study results gained by examining the activity areas, where competitive and innovative teachers operate. The received results claim that the innovative teacher‘s activity is distinguished not only for his/her aim to develop economical novelties in his/her studies content, but also to encourage student‘s expression of his/her competitiveness by ensuring students ‘cognition reflection, apprenticeship of professional object in relation to one‘s personality, students ‘critical thinking, creativity, responsibility, consistency of student‘s individuality and sociability. It is affirmed that while projecting the pedagogical technologies, the innovative teachers’ pay much attention to the developmental estimation system of students ‘competence. Authors see the tendency that innovative professors not only develop economic innovations in the study curriculum but stimulate students competitiveness through the reflection of knowledge; learning profession in relation with students ego; self-support; students critical thinking; creativity; responsibility; the harmony with individuality and sociality.

Straipsnyje analizuojami ir vertinami e. mokymo/si technologijų kokybę sąlygojantys veiksniai aukštojoje mokykloje, o jų pagrindu apibrėžiama e. mokymosi kokybės samprata. Apibendrintai pateikiamų tyrimų tikslas - išanalizuoti e. mokymosi technologijų kokybės sampratą bei šių technologijų kokybę skatinančius (motyvuojančius) veiksnius. Pateikiami tyrimų duomenys apie studentų motyvus renkantis įvairias mokymo/si technologijas savo kompetentingumo plėtotei bei dėstytojų galimybes kurti interaktyvias, e. mokymą/si motyvuojančias virtualias aplinkas. Gauti tyrimai rodo, kad tiek studentams, tiek dėstytojams, siekiantiems studijų kokybės, labiau priimtinos aiškinamuoju iliustraciniu būdu pagrįstos žodinės ir interaktyvios technologijos. Siekdami geresnės e. mokymo kokybės, aukštųjų mokyklų dėstytojai šių technologijų elementus dažniausiai integruoja į tradicines metodikas, plėtodami mišrųjį nuotolinio mokymo/si modelį. Nustatyti esminiai institucinio lygmens veiksniai, lėtinantys šiuolaikinių studijų technologijų plėtotę universitete: didžiajai dėstytojų daliai vis dar trūksta institucinio pripažinimo ir laiko rengti e. mokymo medžiagą studentams. Jie mano, kad e. mokymą/si suaktyvintų studentų skatinimas ir kryptingas jų mokymas naudoti technologines priemones. e. mokymo technologijų plėtojimas, jų kokybės siekis ir jų diegimas studentams neturi būti savitikslis. Naudojant mišrią nuotolinio mokymo plėtotės strategiją egzistuoja daugiau galimybių išvengti klaidų, nešvaistyti laiko ir materialinių resursų ir pasiekti geresnius studijų rezultatus. The article analyzes and assesses factors that have impact upon the quality of eTeaching/ learning technologies in higher education; it is on their basis that the concept of eTeaching/learning quality is defined. Research data about the students' motives in choosing various teaching/learning technologies for the development of their competence are presented together with teacher possibilities to create interactive virtual environments that motivate eTeaching/learning. The obtained research revealed that verbal and interactive technologies based on explanatory illustrational method are more favoured by both students and teachers who aim at study quality. Higher education teachers, aiming at achieving better eTeaching/learning quality, integrate the elements of these technologies into traditional methodologies, developing a blended distance education model.

Tyrimų metu buvo išskirti dominuojančių metodologinių paradigmų prieštaravimai, kurie neskatina ugdytinių individualumo ir socialumo dermės profesinėje veikloje; buvo atskleisti profesinio ugdymo pedagoginių technologijų raidos bruožai, skatinantys ugdytinių individualios profesinės patirties ir kompetentingumo plėtotę. Straipsnyje aptariamos profesinio ugdymo metodologinių paradigmų plėtotės galimybės, svarbia prielaida laikant subjektyvųjį ugdytinio profesinės raiškos aspektą The methodological aspects of individuality and sociability development for the professional expression and the relevance of their research have been related to the changing assumptions of professional expression in the Lithuanian and world labour market and vocational education and training systems during the last two decades. The paradigms of vocational education and training based on meeting the needs of the world of work often take inadequate account of the success factors, which reflect meaningfulness of person's professional expression, and their interface as well as relations with environment (Franki V. E., 1997; Schneider S. L, 2001). As life environment is becoming more democratic and the features of "age of relationship" more vivid, the aspect of coherence between person's professional expression individuality and sociability becomes more significant, while training learners of various ages for professional expression and life. An individual is encouraged to create assumptions for his/her meaningful and qualitative life himself/herself, by rationally interacting with social systems of education and the world of work, assessing his/her own self, self-awareness, respecting others and himself/herself and looking for opportunities to develop his/her professional self-expression. The interface of vocational education and training has been researched with regard to cognition (epistemological) and value (axiological) aspects recently. However, the purposes of qualitative life make the aspect of human essentiality and meaning of life as well as purpose (ontological) in the vocation more relevant. Worsening situation in the labour market, value and meaningfulness of expression aspects become most important for the stability of the labour market and enhancement of its progressive development. In this article, the assessment of vocational education methodological conceptions and pedagogical technologies with regard to development of students' individuality and sociability is defined as the object of the research. The aim of the research is to evaluate the methodological and pedagogical technology trends of changes in vocational education and training with regard to the development of students’ individuality and sociability. The research aim determined the following research objectives: 1 .To evaluate the features of pedagogical paradigms peculiar to Lithuanian vocational and higher education systems. 2.To investigate and evaluate the trends of pedagogical technology development and change under the changing situation in the labour market and educational institutions. Research methods. The article analyses the data of six-year long research, obtained by using general (analysis of scientific literature, systematisation, comparative analysis, statistical research data analysis) and special research methods (questionnaire surveys, phenomenological situation assessment). The research was carried out in the setting of higher education and vocational education and training institutions as well as vocational setting (the world of work). The data obtained from 870 respondents (students, learners, vocational teachers, employers) are analysed. The respondents of agricultural sector vocations dominated in the research.

- Abstract
The article discusses the way vocational pedagogues practically implement valuable education providing the contents of the teachable subject with a certain valuable context (the principle of the contextuality of the contents). Valuable education most effectivelly expresses itself in the contents of education, ensuring interactive, experiental, meaningful teaching/learning, when the critical thinking, creative activities are encouraged helping the student to comprehend to the essential values of meaningful life. Emotional element and emotional form of cognition are the most important in the valuable education, that is why cognitive aims always have to be collated with emotional ones in the process of education. The object of the research of the authors of this article – the elements of valuable education in vocational training. Aim of the research – to define the elements of valuable education used in the pedagogical scenarios by vocational pedagogues. To reach the aim of the research, two objectives are presented: 1. To validate the importance of valuable education in the contents of vocational education. 2. To analyse the elements of valuable education used by vocational teachers in the pedagogical scenarios. Quantitative research methodology and strategy used in the research is executed in the form of questionnaires. It is ascertained that vocational pedagogues do not prefer the elements of valuable education (critical thinking, emotional context of the contents). The most attention is paid to the function of teaching when implementing the contents of education. The function of teaching provides the knowledge of techologies of the activity, tools and materials. The article discloses methodological provisions and actualizes the issues of a scientific problem present in a research of educational instruments used in e-learning pedagogical technologies for the development of critical thinking, which forms a value system of individuality and sociality in professional education process. A lot of attention is paid on tune of individuality and sociality that reflects ideological system of certain professional groups and ensures stability in labour market as well the implementation of the idea commonness rather than unification while establishing common labour market in the EU.

Tyrimo rezultatų analizė atskleidė, kad žmonės, kuriems būdingas apgalvotas tikslo siekimas, stengiasi rasti tokių asmenybės konstruktų kaip gebėjimai, emocijos, sveikata, saviraiškos darbe galimybės, santykiai šeimoje, gerų socialinių ryšių su kaimynais ir kitais socialiniais partneriais palaikymas pusiausvyrą. Minėtų asmenybės konstruktų suderinamumas būdingas tiems ūkininkams, kurie pasiekė gerų ekonominių rezultatų savo ūkiuose. Keliama prielaida, kad vertybės, atspindinčios individualius ir socialinius ūkininkų profesinės saviraiškos aspektus, ateityje galėtų sudaryti vertybinį ūkininkavimo kaip gyvenimo būdo ideologijos pagrindą ir apspręsti ūkininkų profesinio švietimo turinį. The paper considers the methodological ideas of expressing the individuality and sociality in the realities of rural life as well as social and psychological factors determining the professional career development. The results of the studies have shown that people possessing the intelligent and qualitative purposefulness try to find their own grounds among such constructs of the personality as skills, emotions health, possibility of manifesting themselves both at work and at home as well as the maintenance of proper social partners. The harmony of the personality’s above constructs is peculiar to the farmers who have achieved striking economic results. It is implied that the values reflecting individual and social aspects of the professional self-expression could make the value basis of the farmers ideology as the mode of life and could determine the content of the farmers professional training.

Šiuolaikinis rinkos pasaulis iš kaimo gyventojų reikalauja lankstumo ir gebėjimo tvarkytis besikeičiančioje socialinėje aplinkoje. Daugelis ūkininkų problemų būtų išspręstos, jei jie galėtų ne tik pritaikyti dalykines žinias, bet ir bendradarbiauti bei dirbti komandoje. Norint efektyviai funkcionuoti šiuolaikinėje aplinkoje, svarbu, kad tradicinėse organizacinėse ūkininkavimo formose atsirastų kooperatyvios grupės (komandos), o jų nariai gebėtų vykdyti projektus, tinkamai prisistatyti rinkoje bei dalyvauti parodose, strategiškai planuoti bendras veiklas sąsajoje su agrokultūros produkcija. Svarbu, kad grupės struktūra pasiektų keltus tikslus ir leistų individų daugumai apjungti savo resursus. Straipsnyje yra analizuojamos kooperacinių grupių struktūros vystymosi sąlygos ir tendencijos; jos grindžiamos ūkininkų asmenybės raiškos tyrinėjimo duomenimis. Analizuoti psichologiniai kooperacijos aspektai, atsižvelgiant į gyvenimą ir darbą kaime ir įvertinti psichologiniai bendradarbiavimo veiksniai: atvirumas ir nekonkurencingumas bei dominuojančios ūkininkų vertybės. Tyrime dalyvavo 104 šiaurės Lietuvos ūkininkai. Taikyti kiekybiniai ir kokybiniai metodai, parengti pagal asmenybės įvertinimo metodus (Solomin, 2006). Gauti tyrimo rezultatai byloja, kad Lietuvos kaime, ūkininkų tarpe, dominuoja individualistinė grupės struktūra. Siūloma plėtoti kaimo bendruomenių socialinį ugdymą, formuojant kooperacines grupių struktūras ir plėtojant kaimo bendruomenių narių teigiamą tarpusavio priklausomybę. Teigiama grupės priklausomybė atsiranda atvirai komunikuojant ir pasitikint vieni kitais (nekonkuruojant tarpusavyje). Modern world of the market requires the rural population to be flexible and able to cope in a changing social environment. Many problems of the farmers would be solved if they could not only apply their subject knowledge, but also cooperate and work in a team. In order to function in today's environment effectively, it is important for traditional organizational forms of farming to include cooperative groups (teams), and their members to be able to carry out projects, to introduce themselves in the market properly and participate in exhibitions, to make strategic plans on joint activities in connection with production of agriculture. It is important for the structure of group to achieve its goals and to enable the majority of individuals to join their resources. The article analyzes the conditions for the development and trends of the structure of cooperative groups; they are justified according to the study data of personal expression of farmers. Psychological aspects of cooperation, taking into account the life and work in rural areas have been analyzed and psychological co-factors have been assessed: openness and uncompetitiveness, and dominant values of farmers. The study involved 104 farmers from North Lithuania. Quantitative and qualitative methods developed according to the assessment methods of personality (Solomon, 2006) were applied. The obtained results show that among the farmers, a framework of individualistic group is predominant in rural areas of Lithuania. The suggestion is to develop social education of rural communities through the formation of structures of cooperative groups and to develop positive interdependence among the members of rural communities. Positive dependence of the group appears through an open communication and reliance on each other (without competing with each other).

Šiame straipsnyje nagrinėjama problema siejama su profesinio ugdymo turinio metodologijos humanizavimo idėjomis. Apibrėžiamos pagrindinės profesinio ugdymo turinio kategorijos, kuriomis įvertintas epistemologinis, ontologinis ir aksiologinis aspektai. Profesinio ugdymo turinio raidos tendencijos Lietuvoje iliustruojamos edukologinių tyrimų medžiaga. Išvadose teigiama, kad humanistinę profesinio ugdymo turinio metodologiją geriausiai atskleidžia profesijų grupės „žmogus – žmogus“ ir „žmogus – gamta“. Globalinė kompiuterizavimo politika pedagogines technologijas, kurios tradiciškai turėtų būti grindžiamos sąveika „žmogus – žmogus“, keičia sąveika „žmogus - kompiuteris – žmogus“. Toks reiškinys rodo, kad žmonių vertybinėse orientacijose mažėja tiesioginis žmonių bendravimas. Pedagoginiai tyrimai taip pat rodo, kad profesinio ugdymo institucijose dažniausiai naudojamos dvi edukacinių technologijų rūšys - vadovėlinės ir technologijos, kurios orientuotos į ugdytinių vidinių galių ir individualios patirties plėtrą. Tačiau jose profesijos pedagogai mažai dėmesio skiria geresniam mokinių pažinimui, empatijai bei jų amžiaus tarpsnių ypatumų vertinimui. This article analyses the problem that is related to the preconditions of vocational education content methodology humanization. The main categories of vocational education content, estimating epistemological, ontological and axiological aspects, are defined. Material of educological investigations illustrates the tendencies of vocational education content development in Lithuania. According research, it is estimated, that the treats of contents of humanistic education best reflect at the groups of professions "human - human" and "human - nature". The global politics of computerization changes pedagogical technologies, which should be based on interaction "human - human", to the interaction "human - computer - human". This appearance shows that immediate associating between people decreases in their orientations of values. It is researched that usually there used two kinds of educational technologies at the institutions of vocational training - textbook and the technologies that are orientated to the development of person's inside potency and individual experience. Technologies that are orientated to the person's inside potency and individual experience are used in case when teachers need students to make sure about the utility of knowledge and to get vocational knowledge and skills that are necessary.

Žemdirbiškų profesijų ugdymo turinys turi savo specifiką, todėl šiame straipsnyje nagrinėjami Lietuvoje formuojamos profesinio ugdymo turinio metodologijos esminiai bruožai bei tyrimais iliustruojamos žemdirbiškų profesijų ugdymo turinio tendencijos. Profesinio ugdymo turinio metodologija grindžiama makro ir egzo socialines aplinkos lygiuose besiformuojančiomis vertybinėmis orientacijomis, jų raidos tyrimais, humanistiniu požiūriu l žemdirbių profesiją bei jų kompetenciją, profesini jaunųjų ūkininkų ugdymą. Išvadose teigiama, kad žemdirbiškų profesijų ugdymo turinio metodologija turi būti grindžiama pragmatizmo ir humanizmo filosofijų esminių nuostatų racionaliu deriniu. Siekiant to, profesinio ugdymo turinio metodologijoje būtina humanizuoti profesijos, žemdirbių kompetencijos, kaip individo savitos raiškos veiklos pasaulyje, sąvokų sampratą, o žemdirbiškas profesijas vertinti kaip kaimo socialinėje aplinkoje besiformuojančias veiklos rūšių kombinacijas, sukuriančias kaimo žmonėms prielaidas patenkinti jų savisaugos bei saviraiškos poreikius. Žemdirbiškų profesijų profesiniame ugdyme didesnį dėmesį skirti dualizmo modelio principų įgyvendinimui. The educational content of agricultural professions has its particularity. Because of that reason this article analyses basic features of methodology of the content of vocational training. The tendency of the educational content of agricultural professions in the context of the European Union is presented. It is based on in the value orientations in the levels of macro and egzo social environment and on humanistic attitude to agricultural professions, competence, vocational training. The conclusions state that the methodology of educational content of agricultural professions has to be predicated on rational combination of essential attitudes of the philosophies of pragmatism and humanism. When seeking for those purposes, the humanization of the conception of notions of profession, competence of farmers as an individual peculiar expression in the world of activities in the methodology of the content of professional education. Is of great importance as well as valuation of agricultural professions as combinations of the types of activities which develop in social environment and create preconditions to satisfy the needs of self-protection and self-expression of rural people.

Šiame straipsnyje nagrinėjami šiuolaikinės pedagoginių technologijų metodologijos aspektai, analizuojamos žemės ūkio profesinio ugdymo institucijose naudojamų pedagoginių technologijų priimtinumo ir nepriimtinumo priežastys. Taip pat išskirti pagrindiniai veiksniai, turintys įtakos pedagoginių technologijų turiniui Apibendrinus gautus tyrimo duomenis akcentuojama, kad žemės ūkio profesinio ugdymo institucijų praktikoje daugiausia naudojamos pedagoginės technologijos, grindžiamos ugdytojo žodžiu bei jo demonstruojamu pavyzdžiu. Svarbią vietą profesinio ugdymo turinyje užima vadovėlinės bei technologijos orientuotos į ugdytinių vidinių galių ir individualios patirties plėtrą. Videokompiuterinių tinklų pagrindu realizuojamos pedagoginės technologijos naudojamos retai. Pedagoginių technologijų tobulinimui siūlomos priemonės, susijusios su geresniu prieinamumu prie informacijos galimybe laisvai studentui rinktis mokymosi stilių, mokymosi metodus bei priemones. The paper are analyses educational technologies and premises that are used at the institutions of vocational training and influence the choice of its content and structure. The research has revealed the use of two kinds of educational technologies at the institutions of vocational training - textbook and the technologies that are orientated to the development of person's inside potency and individual experience. Textbook technologies are accepted by teachers as the main source of information. They are is also accepted in those cases when the textbook is prepared according to the basic content of the program of the reported subject. Technologies that are orientated to the person's inside potency and individual experience are used in the case when teachers need students to be sure about the use of knowledge and to get necessary vocational knowledge and skills. Teachers do not use hi-tech because of its high price and the lack of acceptage technical and organizational conditions at the institutions of vocational training. That creates unfavourable premises for the teaching of basic skills and the development of knowledge about computers.

The research is intended to determine the dominant principles of connectivism learning theory in international studies that are related to student's learning expectations. For that purpose the roles of teachers and students in the process of cognition, the dominant methods of study and technical means employed in the knowledge of the process of cognition are analysed. Also, the parameters of student satisfaction with international studies are analysed: the possibility to interactively know and interpret knowledge, to learn by learning strategies suitable for a student, to choose a meaningful curriculum for a student. The research results show that learning expectations of students in international study programmes are associated more with principles of connectivism than with constructivist learning theory. An essential factor in causing the reaction of student dissatisfaction with studies is the quality of pedagogical communication in a foreign language. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

In this article the author has offered constructivist grounded theory scientific memos of professors and their students self-regulated learning in social networks. Memos were written following posthuman philosophical tradition seeking to clarify the processes emerging when human web residents having meaningful and valuable real-world experiences navigated in virtual settings. One-to-one semistructured interviews were conducted with 5 professors and instructors and 12 their students from four different universities in two main Lithuanian towns. The grounded theory data still lack saturation and at this stage the substantive grounded theory named Receiving through giving showed the complicated process of collective sharing. Empirical data indicated the vibratory flow of sharing: the respondents demand to receive from the experts and withdrawal while presenting personal knowledge and skills. The oscillation of motivation for sharing depended on the strength of net activities. The differences in sharing nature were observed: professors and instructors protected their data and purposively managed the networked time, while students expressed openness and knowledge grab from various channels with low selection. The author treated social network as a thing controlled by the respondents and as a companion species influencing its occupier's goals and desires, raising the questions about the researcher's role either as an observer or active participant of the net processes. Akcentuojamos komunikavimo formų, metodų ir priemonių naujos galimybės. Kartu pabrėžiamos makro, egzo, mezo ir mikro socialinės aplinkos vertybės ir vertybinės orientacijos bei jų raiškos būdai. Atliktų tyrimų pagrindu pateikiamas profesinio ugdymo turinio modelis ir jo struktūrinės komponentės. There are investigated the conceptions of vocational training system and vocational training curriculum in this article where not organizing-manage mental, but training factors are emphasized. These factors are attributed to training factors: the factors of various opportunities (communication forms, methods, means) of the interaction of a student, teacher and the world of activity; the basic valuable orientations are emphasized in macro, egzo and micro social environment, ways how to express values; the factors of the personalities of students and teachers, when the self-expression of the personality is based on its valuable orientations. There is presented the structure of the vocational training curriculum, which is based on mentioned factors and made research bases.

Straipsnyje nagrinėjamos pagrindinės profesinės pedagogikos sąvokos (profesijos, specialybės, specializacijos, kvalifikacijos, kompetencijos, profesinių žinių), jų vartojimas profesinėje pedagogikoje bei profesinio rengimo standartuose, įvertinant Europos Sąjungos valstybių ir Lietuvos ekonominio, socialinio gyvenimo raidos tendencijas. Taikyta tyrimo metodika: literatūros šaltinių analizė, analitinės indukcijos metodas, anketinė apklausa (tiriant darbdavių ir tam tikros profesijos pedagogų nuomones). Analizė parodė, kad profesijos sąvokos samprata, jos filosofiniai pagrindai yra tam tikrai veiklai besirengiančių žmonių profesinio ugdymo turinio (tuo pačiu ir profesinio rengimo standarto) nustatymo pagrindas. Socialinio, ekonominio, kultūrinio gyvenimo raidos tendencijos rodo, kad į profesiją būtina žiūrėti ne tik kaip į individo savisaugos, bet ir kaip į saviraiškos poreikių tenkinimo terpę. Kadangi profesijos sąvoka daugiau vartojama veikloje, o specialybės – profesinio ugdymo sistemoje, jų negalima tapatinti. Apibrėžiant kompetencijos sąvoką, akcentuojamas gebėjimas parodyti savo profesines žinias, mokėjimus ir įgūdžius, jų lygį, be to, tikslinga sureikšminti veiklos įgaliojimų apimties bei ribų aspektą. Kompetentingas yra tas, kuris ne tik žino, moka, yra įgudęs, bet ir turi galimybę žinias ir įgūdžius pritaikyti praktiškai. Dabartiniame gyvenime svarbiausios kompetencijos dalys yra strateginė ir socialinė. Darbuotojas turi gebėti traktuoti darbo procesą kaip visumą, vertinti tiek vidinių, tiek išorinių veiksnių įtaką jo rezultatams, numatyti darbo proceso raidą. The purpose of this article is to investigate the basic conceptions of professional pedagogics, their usage in professional pedagogics and in the standards of vocational training. While trying to attain this object, it was come to some conclusions: the vocational conception and its philosophical grounds are the basis of the contents of vocational training and the standard of vocational training; as me conception of profession is mostly used in the environment of activity and the conception of speciality is used in the system of vocational training, we can't identify them; in this modern life the most important part of vocational competence is strategic and social. The system of values, knowing how to associate and collaborate with the subjects of social environment of various levels (micro, macro, egzo), skills to solve various situations of conflicts and ability to avoid them influence the social competence of the person. It is necessary to separate two basic types of knowledge in the standards of vocational training: the knowledge of statement and the procedural knowledge.

Darbo objektas – studentų požiūrio į sveikatą sąsajos su savęs vertinimu ir pasitikėjimu savimi. Tyrimo problema – kaip save vertina ir kiek savim pasitiki sportuojantys ir nesportuojantys, fiziškai aktyvūs ir fiziškai pasyvūs studentai, kaip tai susiję su jų požiūriu į sveikatą. Tyrimo tikslas – nustatyti sportuojančių ir nesportuojančių, fiziškai aktyvių ir fiziškai pasyvių studentų požiūrio į sveikatą sąsajas su savęs vertinimu ir pasitikėjimu savimi. Tyrimo uždaviniai: 1. Nustatyti studentų požiūrį į sveikatą pagal sportavimą, fizinį aktyvumą, privalomą kūno kultūrą universitete ir lytį. 2. Nustatyti studentų savęs vertinimą pagal sportavimą, fizinį aktyvumą, privalomą kūno kultūrą universitete ir lytį. 3. Nustatyti studentų pasitikėjimą savimi pagal sportavimą, fizinį aktyvumą, privalomą kūno kultūrą universitete ir lytį. 4. Palyginti studentų požiūrį į sveikatą, savęs vertinimą ir pasitikėjimą savimi. 5. Nustatyti studentų požiūrio į sveikatą sąsajas su savęs vertinimu ir pasitikėjimu savimi. Tyrime buvo keliamos šios hipotezės: 1. Sportuojančių studentų požiūris į savo sveikatą geresnis, jie labiau ja rūpinasi, save vertina geriau ir pasitiki savimi labiau nei nesportuojantys studentai. 2. Studentų, studijuojančių universitete, kuriame kūno kultūra privaloma, požiūris į sveikatą ir savęs vertinimas geresnis, pasitiki savimi labiau nei studentai, studijuojantys universitete, kuriame kūno kultūra neprivaloma. - Abstract
Tyrimo objektas: Ūkininkų konsultavimo ir mokymo/si ypatumai. Tyrimo metodai: Mokslinės literatūros ir antrinių literatūros šaltinių analizė, anketinė apklausa, palyginamoji analizė, grafinis vaizdavimas. Duomenų analizė atlikta taikant matematinės statistikos metodus SPSS programine įranga. Tyrimo rezultatai: Empirinis tyrimas atliktas 2010 m. vasario – balandžio mėnesiais Utenos ir Vilkaviškio rajonuose. Tyrimo apklausoje dalyvavo 195 respondentai. Tyrimo rezultatai rodo, kad mokymai iš dalies atitiko ūkininkų lūkesčius: pedagoginė sąveika nebuvo itin kokybiška. Pastebima, jog organizuojamų mokymų kokybė gerėja. Tyrimo hipotezės pasitvirtino., Der Untersuchungsobjekt: Die Besonderheiten der Bauernberatung -und Schulung/Lern. Die Untersuchungsmethode: Untersuchungsmethode: die Literatur-, Sekundar-Analyse der Literatur, die Fragebogenerhebung, die vergleichende Analyse, grafische Darstellung. Die Datenanalyse erfolgte mit Methoden der mathematischen Statistik-Software SPSS. Die Umfrageergebnisse: Die empirische Studie wurde im Jahr 2010 von Februar bis April in Utena und Vilkaviškis Bereichen durchgeführt. In der Studie haben Befragte 195 teilgenommen. Die Ergebnisse deuten darauf hin, dass die Ausbildung teilweise in Einklang mit den Landwirten die Erwartungen: Lehr-Interaktion nicht sehr guter Qualität war. Es scheint, dass die Verbesserung der Qualität der Ausbildung organisiert. Die Forschungs-Hypothese wurde bestätigt.

During the investigation of e-learning in Lithuanian countryside there are noticed some problems, which point to the fact that countryside people are more likely to apply traditional adult educational systems. Designing methodological basics of e-learning means development in Lithuanian countryside under professional/vocational competitiveness conception, it is necessary to highlight countryside people's value system. During the creation of learner's value-related attitudes expression and their development, a very significant factor is to apply e-learning means for the quality and efficiency related to the application of the following technology.
