Ayrıntılı tıbbi ve seksüel öykü tedavinin yönlendirilmesinde en önemli basamaktır. Laboratuvar testleri ayırıcı tanıda önem kazanmaktadır. Tedavi basamaklarında öncelikli olarak hastaya eğitim ve danışmanlık verilmesi ve davranışsal terapi uygulaması ile başlanmalıdır. Etki eden faktörlerin modifikasyonu önemlidir. Bu basamaklardan sonra yanıt alınamazsa medikal tedavi uygulanmalıdır.

Aging has a powerful impact on the quality of relationship and sexual functioning. One primary cause of decreased sexual desire in postmenopausal women is decreased vaginal lubrication and/or a thinning of the vaginal lining which leads to pain during vaginal intercourse. to evaluate the impact of aging on various aspects of female sexuality. The present study included 150 married women above the age of sixty. The tool of the study was a questionnaire written in English and translated to Arabic. The questionnaire used included 29 items designed by the investigators. the most common age group was 60-64 years (60%) followed by age group 65-69 years (30.7%). Most of them were living in urban areas (53.3%). Regarding educational level, 24% of the studied group were university graduates and the rest of them either finished their secondary school (40%), or can only read and write (36%). The results of this study showed that there is a direct correlation between aging and sexual dysfunction. Coital frequency decreased with aging, 64.3% of women aged 70-74 years reported no coitus compared to 16.7% of women aged 60-64 years. Frequency of spontaneous sexual desire also decreases with aging, 40% of women aged 70-74 years, reported that sexual desire has become rare or almost never occurs compared to 14.7% of women aged 60-64 years

Resumen Objetivo: Establecer la prevalencia del déficit de vitamina D en hombres y mujeres con deseo sexual hipoactivo. Materiales y métodos: Estudio de corte transversal en el período 2011- 2017 en Armenia, Colombia en una muestra de 107 participantes. Se incluyeron hombres y mujeres con diagnóstico en la consulta externa, de una clínica privada de carácter universitario de referencia, de deseo sexual hipoactivo (DSH). Se les realizó cuantificación de 25-hidroxivitamina D [25(OH)D] (calcidiol) y se consideró que en la historia clínica tuvieran diligenciados los cuestionarios: Decreased Sexual Desire Screener (DSDS) o Prueba del Deseo Sexual Inhibido (PDSI), en las mujeres , y el cuestionario Sexual desire inventory (SDI) en los hombres. Muestreo no probabilístico por conveniencia. Se aplicó estadística descriptiva. Los resultados se exponen de manera agrupada para el total de la población. Introdução: A falta de percepção sobre a própria sexualidade e o desconhecimento da resposta sexual, principalmente sobre o orgasmo, adicionados a conflitos conjugais, desencadeiam graves problemas emocionais nas mulheres, que alteram sua resposta sexual. Objetivo: Investigar a percepção e o impacto da sexualidade na qualidade de vida de mulheres. Metodologia: Este estudo foi realizado entre setembro de 2014 e fevereiro de 2015, em uma Clínica da Família no Rio de Janeiro (RJ), com 300 mulheres com idade média de 36 anos. Para a coleta de dados, foi realizada uma entrevista semiestruturada, e, para a análise dos dados, foram utilizados os programas Qualisoft 2013 e Excel. Resultados: A partir da análise dos questionários, pudemos observar que quase 10% das entrevistadas nunca sentiram orgasmo. Mais de 20% sente dor durante o ato sexual, e destas, 35% não procurou ajuda médica. Aproximadamente 70% sente ou já sentiu diminuição do desejo sexual. Além disso, 60% acredita que a relação sexual interfere na qualidade de vida, alterando o humor, o bem-estar e baixando a autoestima. Cerca de 70% das entrevistadas já realizaram a prática sexual sem estar com desejo. Conclusão: É crescente a preocupação da mulher em satisfazer seu parceiro e em ter um bom desempenho sexual. As entrevistadas percebem a importância da relação sexual para a manutenção da qualidadede vida, que, para elas, é sinônimo de preservação da relação, acreditando que a falta de sexo pode interferir no humor e na autoestima. Background: Aging changes are shown from the sub-atomic to the organismic level; ecological variables influence trial perceptions; optional impacts convolute clarification of essential systems; and correctly characterized, effectively quantifiable biomarkers are inadequate. Nobody bringing together hypothesis may exist, since the components of aging could be very distinct in various living beings, tissues, and cells. Method: This is a descriptive-observational study, which is aimed to evaluate the influence of aging on sexual desire in a male. The target population of this study is the men aged 50 years old and older in Lapangan Puputan Niti Mandala Renon, Denpasar Selatan, Bali from April 2018 to mei 2018 were involved in this research. Instruments that were used in this research is The Decreased Sexual Desire Screener questionnaire to assess the sexual function in older men. Result: This study showed that among 135 respondents aged 50 years old and older, through a questionnaire, most of the respondents stated that they have changing sexual desire. But, most of them are from the age group of 55-60 years old and 61-65 years old. People in the group of 50-55 years old less likely to experience a decrease in sexual desire compared to the older group. Conclusion: Older age influence sexual function in men.

Objectives Although hormonal changes during menopause are inevitable in this period, the severity of the menopausal symptoms can be controlled. Accepting menopause and having a positive attitude toward it can also help. Given the results of previous studies, and since environmental factors affect the pattern of menopausal symptoms the present study was conducted to compare the pattern of menopausal symptoms, concern and attitudes in urban and rural postmenopausal women. Methods This cross-sectional study was conducted on urban and rural postmenopausal women residing in and around Tabriz, Iran. Cluster sampling was used to select the subjects. The data collection tools used included a demographic questionnaire to assess women's experiences during menopause. Results This study examined 544 urban and rural postmenopausal women between March and September 2015. The women had a mean age of 51.8 ± 3.1. After adjusting the basic variables, the mean scores of menopausal symptoms and their subscales showed significantly higher scores in the physical and psychological subscales in the urban women, while the rural women had significantly higher scores in the concern subscale. Conclusions Rural women were significantly different from urban women in terms of menopausal symptoms, concern and attitudes. Hot flushes, a common menopausal symptom, and decreased sexual desire were more common in the urban women; in contrast, the rural women experienced more concern about menopause and its consequences.

Introduction Flibanserin is a postsynaptic 5-HT-1A agonist and 5-HT-2A antagonist for the treatment of generalized acquired hypoactive sexual desire disorder in premenopausal women. Aim To review and evaluate the efficacy and safety of flibanserin. Methods We review and critique the appropriateness of the co-primary and secondary end points used in the flibanserin pivotal trial research program. We review the efficacy and safety parameters of this drug based on the published literature and related sources. Main Outcome Measures Pivotal trial primary and secondary end points and safety profile data from the flibanserin development program. Results Our review identified instances of poor fit of two primary trial pivotal trial end points with the hypoactive sexual desire disorder construct: satisfying sexual events and electronic daily diary assessments of the most intense level of sexual desire experienced each day. Efficacy findings of the flibanserin pivotal trials program were positive for satisfying sexual events, not positive for electronic daily diary assessments of the most intense level of sexual desire experienced, and positive for secondary end points of the Female Sexual Function Index desire domain and overall measurements and the Female Sexual Distress Scale–Revised desire-specific and overall measurements. Safety data from the clinical trial program showed a reasonable safety profile. Conclusion Flibanserin has demonstrated efficacy on appropriate measurements of the hallmarks of hypoactive sexual desire disorder—experience of absent or decreased sexual desire that is persistent over time and distressing—and the safety profile of flibanserin is acceptable. Introduction Counts of satisfying sexual events (SSEs) per month have been criticized as an end point in treatment trials of women with hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD) but grounding improvement in sexual desire by assessing changes in sexual behavior remains of some importance. Methods We conducted a literature review to find validated measurements that are specific sexual behavioral correlates of low sexual desire. We compared expert-proposed criteria for dysfunctional desire, expert-developed sets of scale items, and self-rated scales developed before issuance of, or in accordance with, the Food and Drug Administration’s guidance on developing patient-reported outcomes. Behavioral measurements of HSDD were isolated from these sets of criteria or scales. Main Outcome Measures We outline a plan to evaluate such behavioral measurements of HSDD with reference to SSEs. Results Eleven rating scales, four expert-originated and seven self-rated scales mainly derived from patient input were identified as well validated and relevant to HSDD. Three recent sets of diagnostic criteria for conditions such as HSDD were compared with the scales. Twenty-four different symptoms were found in the scales. Content found relevant to HSDD during development of the rating scales varied highly among measurements, including the self-rated scales developed in conformity with current recommendations for patient-reported outcome measurements. The only item on all sets was desire for sexual activity. Four other items were in approximately at least half the sets: sexual thoughts or fantasies, frequency of sexual activity, receptivity, and initiations. Sexual thoughts or fantasies were in every expert-derived set but in only three of the seven patient-derived sets. Receptivity was in five of the seven expert-derived sets vs two of the seven patient-derived sets. Frequency of sexual activity was in one of the seven expert-derived sets but in five of the patient-derived sets. Initiation was in approximately half the two sets. All other items were on one to three sets each. We identified three sexual behaviors of validated specificity for female HSDD: frequency of sexual activity, receptivity, and initiations. Six or seven items are relevant and informative. The item on frequency of sexual activity in the Changes in Sexual Functioning–Female scale is the only item that covers frequency of dyadic and solitary sexual activity. An item in the Female Sexual Desire Questionnaire (FSDQ) covers the intuitively relevant topic of frequency of sexual activity motivated by the woman’s desire. Three FSDQ items on initiations and two items on receptivity reflect expert opinion on the sexual behaviors of most relevance to HSDD, but the FSDQ has not been validated in women with HSDD. Conclusions SSEs have been discredited as the primary measurement in clinical trials of women with HSDD, but it would be meaningful to include at least one sexual behavioral symptom specific to HSDD as an end point. Expert-recommended sexual behaviors specifically related to HSDD are irregularly represented in self-rating scales whether developed as in the Food and Drug Administration guidance on patient-reported outcomes or not. Six or seven items on sexual behavior in self-rated scales can be recommended for relevance to women with HSDD in clinical trials. Items on female sexual behavior should be tested in comparison with SSEs in women with HSDD for relevance and for treatment sensitivity, and responder and functional and dysfunctional cutoffs should be determined before incorporation into large-scale clinical trials.

Female genital cutting (FGC) is a persistent social norm in the Liben district of southern Ethiopia. This study explores whether the sexual experiences of married men and women differ by women's FGC status. Qualitative in-depth interviews were conducted with 28 women with different types of FGC (or no FGC) and 21 husbands. Compared to others, women with more severe FGC reported traumatic sexual experiences and decreased sexual desire. Nonetheless, participants largely endorsed FGC for daughters, revealing pressure to maintain the practice. Opportunities for change exist, as women and men recognized the sexual pleasure and healthy birth experiences of uncut women.

Seorang wanita pada periode kehamilan akan mengalami perubahan baik fisik maupun psikologis. Perubahan ini berdampak terhadap pemenuhan kebutuhan dasar termasuk seksualitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan perubahan psikologis ibu hamil. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan cross sectional dengan populasi ibu hamil trimester 3 yang memeriksakan kehamilannya di bulan Mei 2015 sebanyak 183 pasangan. Teknik sampling menggunakan accidental sampling dan jumlah sampel terpilih adalah 46 pasangan. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner Perubahan Psikologis dan Index of Sexual Satisfaction (ISS). Analisis data menggunakan Chi-square test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 54.3% responden mengalami perubahan psikologis positif ABSTRACT A woman on the gestation period will experience both physical and psychological changes. These changes have an impact on the fulfillment of basic needs, including sexuality. Changes in pregnant women’s perceived psychology can result in decreased sexual desire of the women. This study aimed to describe the relationship of psychological changes of pregnant women with the husband’s sexual satisfaction level. The study used cross sectional design with a population of third trimester pregnant women who did checkups in May 2015 as many as 183 couples. Sampling technique used accidental sampling and sample size was 46 couples. The instrument used was a questionnaire and Psychological Changes Index of Sexual Satisfaction (ISS). Data analysis used Chi-square test. The results showed that as many as 54.3% of respondents experienced a positive psychological change. Conclusion of the study is that the more positive physiological changes in pregnant women will result in higher sexual satisfaction of her husband.

The present study investigated sexual desire in young, heterosexual women in longer-term relationships. Twenty semi-structured interviews were conducted with women who self-identified as belonging to one of two study groups: “the passion is still alive” (Mean age = 24.0 years, n = 10) or “wondering where the passion has gone” (Mean age = 24.8 years, n = 10). Analysis was conducted using grounded theory methodology to investigate experiences of women in these two groups. Although women in both groups reported some common meanings and experiences, sexual desire was also described and experienced differently by women in each group. Categories distinguishing two groups included an ability to stay mentally present, sexual particularity, importance of sex in one's relationship, feeling desired, effectiveness of partner's sexual initiation, relational intimacy, the interpretation of monotony and routine, and sexual communication. A 55-year-old healthy married woman complains of reduced sexual desire and arousal for the past 10 years. She denies any dyspareunia. She underwent a hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy at the age of 45 for symptomatic uterine fibroids. After the surgery, she started experiencing hot flashes, vaginal dryness, and decreased sexual desire. She was prescribed with a transdermal estradiol patch which relieved her hot flashes and vaginal dryness but did not improve her sexual symptoms. Her total and free testosterone levels are low at 12 ng/dl and 1.5 pg/ml, respectively. She had a normal mammogram within the last year. She asks whether testosterone replacement is an option to treat her sexual symptoms. How should this patient be assessed and treated?

In dit artikel beschrijven we twee casus van cognitief-gedragstherapeutischebehandeling van, respectievelijk, een vrouw met primair vaginisme en een man met verminderd seksueel verlangen. De fenomenologie van de problematiek wordt besproken, en op basis van een verklaringsmodel en casusconceptualisatie wordt een behandeltraject voorgesteld. In het kort worden ook het verloop van de behandelingen en de resultaten besproken. In this article two cases of cognitive-behavioural treatment are presented, of a woman with lifelong vaginismus and a man with hypoactive sexual desire, respectively. In addition, the phenomenology of these problem types are discussed. A treatment plan is then proposed, based on a theoretical model and a case conceptualisation. In conclusion, the course and the results of treatment are described.

Hypoactive Sexual Desire Disorder (HSDD) is the most common form of FSD (Female Sexual Dysfunction) and the most common sexual disorder in women in clinical practice. HSDD is defined as a deficiency or absence of sexual fantasies and of the desire for sexual activity with a great impact on interpersonal relationships which cannot be attributed to other causes such as psychiatric or medical illnesses or the effect of particular drugs. Both pre- and postmenopausal women may be affected by HSDD. The pathophysiology of HSDD is not known in any detail; the current scientific opinion is that it may be due to a neurobiological imbalance in the inhibitory and excitatory factors which control sexual desire in the brain. HSDD leads to reduced sexual and interpersonal satisfaction and is associated with high emotional psychological strain. Gynecologists should be first persons to whom women affected with HSDD should be able to turn, but due to the lack of specialist training, time, and effective therapy many doctors shy away from broaching the topic. The Decreased Sexual Desire Screener (DSDS®) is a short and simple diagnostic tool for the detection of HSDD by non-specialist colleagues. As the range of therapies currently available to women with HSDD is limited, multidimensional treatments should be offered to women with HSDD.

The relation between masturbation and sexual desire has not been systematically studied. The present study assessed the association between masturbation and pornography use and the predictors and correlates of frequent masturbation (several times a week or more often) among coupled heterosexual men who reported decreased sexual desire. Analyses were carried out on a subset of 596 men with decreased sexual desire (mean age = 40.2 years) who were recruited as part of a large online study on male sexual health in 3 European countries. A majority of the participants (67%) reported masturbating at least once a week. Among men who masturbated frequently, 70% used pornography at least once a week. A multivariate assessment showed that sexual boredom, frequent pornography use, and low relationship intimacy significantly increased the odds of reporting frequent masturbation among coupled men with decreased sexual desire. These findings point to a pattern of pornography-related masturbation that can be dissociated from partnered sexual desire and can fulfill diverse purposes. Clinical implications include the importance of exploring specific patterns of masturbation and pornography use in the evaluation of coupled men with decreased sexual desire.

IntroductionDual control model of the sexual response (DCM) indicates, that there are two separate, but cooperating systems of sexual excitation and inhibition. Previous studies using DCM concept have shown, that MSM (men having sex with men) had higher excitation (SES) and one of the types of inhibition (SIS1) levels, in comparison to the exclusively heterosexual men. MSM also reported more frequent occurrence of sexual disorders (erectile disorders, premature ejaculation and decreased sexual desire).ObjectivesComparison of the MSM and heterosexual men groups in order to verify erenow observed differences in sexual excitation/inhibition propensity and prevalence of sexual problems.MethodsThe sample consisted of two groups: 47 heterosexual men and 60 MSM. The participants have anonymously filled up questionnaires (Polish version of the Sexual Inhibition/Sexual Excitation Scales SIS/SES and the author's survey) via internet. Then statistical analysis was executed.ResultsOur findings have shown, that both groups were similar in their propensities for sexual excitation (SES) and inhibition due to the risks of failure in sexual performance (SIS1), while MSM scored higher on the inhibition scale, related to the threat of negative consequences of sexual response (SIS2). Heterosexual men more frequently suffered from premature ejaculation and less commonly reported decreased desire. There were no differences in the erectile disorders report between MSM and heterosexual men.ConclusionsOur findings are mostly in conflict with previous DCM studies results. Several issues, just like method of sexual orientation assessment or cultural differences may had its impact on such results. We evaluated 113 female partners of men with erectile dysfunction (ED) attending a sexual dysfunction clinic in order to define sexual dysfunction among these women. In all, 51 (45%) women denied having any sexual dysfunction. The other 62 (55%) responded to questions classifying their complaint(s) according to the international classification of female sexual dysfunction (FSD) in the following topics (40/62, 65%, reported having more than one problem): decreased sexual desire (n1⁄4 35, 56%), sexual aversion (none), arousal (n1⁄4 23, 37%) and orgasmic disorders (n1⁄4 39, 63%), dyspareunia (n1⁄4 19, 31%), vaginismus (n1⁄4 3, 5%), and noncoital sexual pain (none). Many female partners of men with ED report having some form of sexual disorder, mostly orgasmic problems and decreased sexual desire. Therefore, for optimal outcome of ED treatment, evaluation and treatment of male and FSD should be addressed as one unit within the context of the couple, and be incorporated into one clinic of sexual medicine. Diabetes is a chronic illness that affects all aspects of human sexuality. As an integral part of a woman's day-to-day life, sexuality may be adversely affected by diabetes in ways that are detrimental to her total health, her relationships, and her self-esteem. This descriptive study was conducted to describe the physical effects of diabetes on sexuality in women with insulin-dependent diabetes or non-insulin-dependent diabetes. A sample of 20 women were interviewed and data were analyzed to identify themes. Problems reported by subjects affecting sexuality were fatigue, changes in perimenstrual blood glucose control, vaginitis, decreased sexual desire, decreased vaginal lubrication, and an increased time to reach orgasm. Continued research is recommended to further explore these findings.

Changes in sexual functions are very common among women with advanced multiple sclerosis but occur also in early and mild cases. Decreased sexual desire as well as decreased or absent lubrication are almost as common as diminished orgasmic capacity, changes in orgasmic quality or anorgasmia. Changes in sexual functions correlate both to neurological symptoms from the sacral segments, such as sensory dysfunction in the genital area or weakness of the pelvic muscles, and to bladder and bowel dysfunction. However, disability in itself and a number of psychological and social factors may explain the problems but also gives clues to the treatment.

Background Over 50% of patients consider RMDs as a disabling illness which has a strong impact on sense of self, self-esteem and on the couple9s wellbeing. Many patients tend to deal with these issues independently, passively accepting them in the belief they are unsolvable. As it is the task of an association to understand, to analyze and to find solutions to the problems of the people represented, ANMAR carried a survey into this problem on Italian patients. Objectives to evaluate frequency and importance of interferences on the relationship; to identify the main causes and the most useful tools to overcome the problem Methods inside a larger surveying program set by ONDA (National Observatory on Women9s Health) we elaborate a 24 questions questionnaire about RMDs. For this analysis we mostly considered the answers to 10 questions, regarding how patients perceive their health, sense of self, self-esteem and the disease impact on sexuality. Results we evaluate answers from 719 patients - 2/3 with RA, 3/4 female – 56 years old in average, still working despite illness and pain and with a RA diagnosis over 10 years old in 50% of cases. The disease is considered as disabling, has a strong impact on physical and mental wellbeing (50% defines their health “not good” or “fair” and refers many sacrifices in daily life due to illness) and on sense of self ad self-esteem: 50% of patients think that illness made him/her different and it has deeply undermined confidence in himself/herself and his own self-image. Women will suffer more intensely the effects, appearing most suffering psychologically (they are angrier, they feel changed, they are liking less) and physically (they refer stronger pain, they have a more difficult relationship with the therapy and they are forced to more waivers, in home, children and partner care). 50% of those who have a love life says that their sexuality has suffered from the disease for loss of mobility (66%) or decreased sexual desire (50%); 74% did not share the problem with anyone and of these 66% would not want to do it, because they think it is unnecessary. Males and females similarly perceive the impact of the disease on the intimacy of couples and equally share the problem with someone (25% for both genders), but choose to approach different figures: women their gynecologist (64%), men their partners (50%). Men are more closed and resigned: only 16% of those who did not mention it, would like to do it, while the percentage rises up to 28% among women. Conclusions simple information, support and reassurance regarding the perception of self and the intimacy, but also practical tips and tricks to relieve pain or to facilitate mobility during sex, or simply offering communicative cues that lead us to reflect on the problem without aside it with resignation may be enough not to give up living with serenity the intimacy, in keeping with our body and with the limitations the disease imposes. The decreased sexual desire screener is a brief diagnostic instrument for generalized acquired hypoactive sexual desire disorder in women. During the screening visit of 2 clinical trials, the authors assessed sensitivity of the decreased sexual desire screener in premenopausal women presenting with decreased sexual desire. The authors compared diagnoses of generalized acquired hypoactive sexual desire disorder made by clinicians who were not trained or specialized in the diagnosis of female sexual dysfunction using the decreased sexual desire screener with diagnoses made by expert clinicians after an extensive diagnostic interview. The sensitivity of the decreased sexual desire screener was 0.946 in a North American trial and 0.960 in a European trial.

In addition, the phenomenology of these problem types are discussed. A treatment plan is then proposed, based on a theoretical model and a case conceptualisation. In conclusion, the course and the results of treatment are described.

We explored perimenstrual symptoms among 16 Chinese women in an urban area of southeastern China using a retrospective questionnaire, the Menstrual Distress Questionnaire (MDQ), and a prospective daily symptom diary, the Daily Health Diary (DHD), modified for cultural relevance. Mean scores on the DHD were significantly (p.03) higher during the perimenstrual phase for the symptoms fatigue, increased sensitivity to cold, increased sleeping, abdominal pain/discomfort, painful or tender breasts, and decreased sexual desire. The women who reported higher DHD physical symptom scores prospectively were more likely to recall more severe physical symptoms retrospectively on the MDQ. However, there were remarkable discrepancies between the DHD and MDQ regarding psychoemotional symptoms. By retrospective MDQ, the percentages of women who experienced severe mood swings and irritability ranged from 13% to 25% during the premenstrual and menstrual phases; on the DHDs, however, these emotional symptoms were not statistically associated with the menstrual cycle. The failure of prospective charting to confirm the retrospective reports of cyclic psychoemotional symptoms agrees with findings of studies of U.S. samples. We conclude that perimenstrual distress in Chinese women may be affected by the data collection methods.

The medical records of a consecutive series of 421 women diagnosed at a Department of Gynaecology as having urinary incontinence were surveyed (in retrospect) in order to analyse how frequently sexual complaints had been registered. After exclusion for age above 60 years and for concomitant chronic somatic or psychiatric disease, the charts of 193 women remained. Sexual problems had been registered in 28 (15%) of these. The complaints were dyspareunia, and in two cases decreased sexual desire. In this sample no significant associations between sexual complaints and type/treatment of incontinence, age or number of deliveries were found. As gauged by the available literature these patients have revealed--or have been noted to have--less sexual problems than somatically and psychiatrically healthy females have in the general population.

Two hundred soldiers of the Sri Lanka Army who had undergone vasectomy at least 4 years earlier were interviewed by a pretested questionnaire to determine the incidence and nature of any changes in sexual behaviour after the operation. Fifty-six percent reported some change in their sexual behaviour after vasectomy. A decreased frequency of intercourse being reported by 15%, a decreased sexual desire by 19% and changes in sexual behaviour during intercourse by 33%. Seven percent reported that their wives had noticed an alteration in sexual behaviour after operation.
