Furthermore, inorder to improve the court jtewellery, creaion of a Byzantian style was enabledby sending for craftsmen from Alexandria and Antakya. Colourization of metal,the unique Byzantian jewellery method began to develop in flashy jewelleriesthat were created with precious and semi-precious stones together with preciousmetals, especially gold. Just like the Anatolian people before them, theByzantians wore their jewellery both for adornment and showing off their wealthand for protecting themselves from evil and showing their piety. As uniqueoutputs that blended the traditions of Roman and Hellenistic periods andChristianity, the Byzantian jewelleries affected both West and the jewelleriesof the Seljuks and Ottomans, who lived in Anatolia after them. XXI. yüzyılda ürün tasarımı olarak takıya bakış açısının farklılaşması sonucunda, takılar, süs eşyası olarak kullanım objesi olmanın ötesine geçerek, çağdaş sanatlar kapsamında değerlendirilebilecek çalışmalar olarak karşımıza çıkmaktadır. Takının serüveni, sanat izleyicileri ve kullanıcıları şaşırtacak şekilde ivme kazanarak yoluna devam etmektedir. Takılar artık, zanaatkârların ürettiği süslenme objeleri olma misyonunun yanında, XXI. yüzyılın dünya üzerindeki etkilerini anlatan, yaşatan ve sanatsal değerler taşıyan objeler niteliğindedir. XXI. yüzyıl takı sanatında öne çıkan formlarının başında yüzükler gelmektedir. Farklı sanat disiplinlerinin teknik ve malzemeleriyle yaratılan yüzükler, ifade yeteneğine sahip olan, takılabilir heykeller olarak değer kazanmıştır. 70 yıl öncesinde başlayan takıdaki yapısal değişim yolculuğu, birçok etkinin tepkisel dışa vurumu olarak açıklanabilir. Takı sanatçılarını etkileyen ekonomik, siyasal, çevresel, sanatsal, geleneksel, mistik, sembolik değerlerin açılımının, bu yolculuktaki bakış açısının kavranmasında önemli bir rolü vardır.
