Depression is the most prevalent psychological issue among cancer patients and can seriously affect patients' life and disease prognosis and even lead to suicide. Sarcopenia is a manifestation of cancer cachexia, a chronic progressive process. It is accompanied by a sustained decrease in skeletal muscle mass, muscle strength, and physical function and likewise has various negative effects on the patient. This study aimed to evaluate sarcopenia and other factors that may affect depression in patients with lung cancer and to further analyze and discuss.A total of 104 eligible patients were enrolled in this cross-sectional study, using the Hamilton Depression Scale to assess depression, obtaining the psoas muscle index (PMI) by computed tomography (CT), and performing the diagnosis of sarcopenia. Clinical and personal characteristics were collected by electronic medical records.We evaluated a total of 104 hospitalized cancer patients in this analysis, with mean age = 57.8 ± 11.0 years, and 65.38% (68) were female. We found that up to 31.7% (33) of the participants had depression and 61.5% (64) of the participants had sarcopenia, and no statistical differences were found among depressed and non-depressed patients in relation to age, smoking, gender, performance status, and pathology. Patients with sarcopenia have more than four times the risk of suffering from depression than patients without sarcopenia (OR = 4.133, 95%CI = 1.390-12.287; p = 0.011). Similarly, the possibility of depression in patients with PD (progressive disease) as efficacy evaluation increased by 13.482 times (95%CI = 2.121-85.679, p = 0.006).In individuals with terminal lung cancer, depression and sarcopenia are prevalent. A strong association between the two is now thought to exist. Sarcopenia and efficacy evaluation are independent risk factors for depression. The correlation between sarcopenia and depression underscores the need for early intervention by our clinicians.

Purpose Patients with lung cancer often develop negative psychology, particularly anxiety and depression, which often leads to reduced quality of life, shorter survival time and increased mortality. The main aim of this study was to explore whether anxiety and depression contribute to a greater risk of irAEs in patients treated with combined ICIs.Methods A total of 317 lung cancer patients receiving combined immunotherapy were included in the Cancer Hospital of Harbin Medical University from September 2018 to May 2022. The Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale (HADS) was used to measure the anxiety and depression of patients prior to treatment with the combined ICIs. The irAEs were assessed 1–3 days after each immunotherapy treatment and recorded according to the Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events version 5.0. Cardinality tests, univariate and multivariate logistic regression models were used to identify risk factors for the occurrence of irAEs.Results The prevalence of anxiety and depressive states before patients received the combined ICIs was 36.6% and 37.5% respectively. Non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) accounts for approximately 85% of all lung cancer cases and has the highest mortality rate among all solid tumors. It is characterized by early metastasis, and investigations of the molecular mechanisms underlying the progression and metastasis of NSCLC are urgently needed for the development of therapeutic targets. Here, we report that the transmembrane protein TMEM139 is significantly downregulated in NSCLC and that reduced expression of TMEM139 is correlated with a poor prognosis in NSCLC patients. Mechanistically, we found that TMEM139 directly interacts with E-cadherin at the plasma membrane and at focal adhesion sites. Moreover, TMEM139 can prevent the lysosomal degradation of E-cadherin, which inhibits epithelial-mesenchymal transition, migration and invasion of NSCLC cells both in vitro and in vivo. Our study not only expands our understanding of NSCLC metastasis but also provides a foundation to develop novel therapeutic strategies.

In this paper, using the FLAC3D software to establish the numerical model of the rock slope in the south of Washan stope and to compare and verify with the monitoring result, reference is made to the original engineering and hydrogeological data of Washan stope. The results show that the stability of the South slope is mainly affected by the dominant structural plane, and the potential slip surface and the dominant structure surface are the same. During the recovery period of -120m platform residual mine, the disturbance stress is increasing but the overall amplitude is small and the slope is relatively stable.

Foundation pit excavation adopts a widely used method in real projects—cantilever pile supporting, which has the advantages of easy construction, convenience and low cost, etc. The writers use MIDAS GTS software to build the 3D finite unit model to analyze the influences of such facts as excavation step, pipe diameter, center distance of pile. The conclusion shows: The maximum horizontal and vertical displacement of pipelines in the corner of foundation pit is about 1/2 of its center. The pipeline's diameter increases from 0.6m to 1.2m. The horizontal displacement changes little, but the vertical displacement of pipeline is reduced to half of the original.

In traditional college classes, teachers collect the responses of students via questioning. With the expansion of the student population in China's higher education system, teachers are getting difficult to gather the information on the instruction effect. The importance of Instruction response system (IRS) in traditional teacher-oriented class is getting more and more recognized in college instruction activities. In this paper, the influential factors of selecting a IRS are summarized and an Analytical Hierarchy Process method model is established to prioritize the many different available IRS products, where price, transmission distance, battery capacity, and additional functions, are selected as the criterion layer factors. Based on the investigation of five available IRS, the AHP model is deployed to assist in the decision making process of the most suitable system. Two chief decision-makers are inquired to construct the judgment matrix, and the least costly system is found to be the most desirable one.
