The HIV capsid (CA) protein is a promising target for anti‐AIDS treatment due to its critical involvement in viral replication. Herein, we utilized the well‐documented CA inhibitor PF74 as our lead compound and designed a series of low‐molecular‐weight phenylalanine derivatives. Among them, compound 7t exhibited remarkable antiviral activity with a high selection index (EC50 = 0.040 µM, SI = 2815), surpassing that of PF74 (EC50 = 0.50 µM, SI = 258). Furthermore, when evaluated against the HIV‐2 strain, 7t (EC50 = 0.13 µM) demonstrated approximately 14‐fold higher potency than that of PF74 (EC50 = 1.76 µM). Insights obtained from surface plasmon resonance (SPR) revealed that 7t exhibited stronger target affinity to the CA hexamer and monomer in comparison to PF74. The potential interactions between 7t and the HIV‐1 CA were further elucidated using molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations, providing a plausible explanation for the enhanced target affinity with 7t over PF74. Moreover, the metabolic stability assay demonstrated that 7t (T1/2 = 77.0 min) significantly outperforms PF74 (T1/2 = 0.7 min) in human liver microsome, exhibiting an improvement factor of 110‐fold. In recent years, carbon emissions have become a hot spot issue, and countries have made efforts to control the increasing rate of CO2 concentration. Prior studies have mainly focused on the national total carbon emissions, but per capita carbon emissions are still poorly known. Here, we used multiple economic development indices to investigate the dynamics of per capita carbon emissions. Additionally, we used the Mann–Kendall test to assess the directions and magnitudes of trends and to investigate abrupt changes in per capita carbon emissions. Our results showed the highest positive growth rate of 0.439 mts/yr in Oman, and the highest negative growth rate of −0.462 mts/yr in the United Arab Emirates. Hurst Index analysis showed that about 86% of countries will keep the current trends of carbon emissions if current mitigation measures remain unchanged. Furthermore, we analyzed the shift in the center of gravity for per capita carbon emissions and used the contribution decomposition method to identify the drivers for the shift, which changed direction in 2004. The main driver behind the westward shift in the gravity center before 2004 was the fact that carbon emissions grew more strongly in the west than in the east before 2004, while the driver for behind the eastward shift in the gravity center after 2004 was a combination of emission reductions in the west and emission increases in the east. Our results highlighted the importance of understanding that the per capita CO2 emissions are clearly defined within the context of global carbon neutrality, which can help policymakers set more reasonable targets with which to better achieve carbon neutrality goals. Forest fires are one of the most severe natural disasters facing global ecosystems, as they have a significant impact on ecological security and social development. As remote sensing technology has developed, burned areas can now be quickly extracted to support fire monitoring and post-disaster recovery. This study focused on monitoring forest fires that occurred in Chongqing, China, in August 2022. The burned area was identified using various satellite images, including Sentinel-2, Landsat8, Environmental Mitigation II A (HJ2A), and Gaofen-6 (GF-6). The burned area was extracted using visual interpretation, differenced Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (dNDVI), and differenced Normalized Burnup Ratio (dNBR). The results showed that: (1) The results of the three monitoring methods were very consistent, with a coefficient of determination R2 > 0.96. (2) A threshold method based on the dNBR-extracted burned area was used to analyze fire severity, with moderate-severity fires making up the majority (58.05%) of the fires. (3) Different topographic factors had some influence on the severity of the forest fires. High elevation, steep slopes and the northwestern aspect had the largest percentage of burned area.
