Silencing of SBF2-AS1 inhibited the viability and growth of OCI-LY-3 cells. Furthermore, SBF2-AS1 acted as a sponge of miR-494-3p and inhibited its expression. And miR-494-3p directly targeted FGFR2. Functionally, forced expression of miR-494-3p or knockdown of FGFR2 removed the promoted effects of lncRNA SBF2-AS1 on DLBCL development. In vivo tumorigenesis experiments indicated SBF2-AS1 accelerated tumor growth via miR-494-3p/FGFR2 axis.Conclusion: Our study revealed that SBF2-AS1 promoted the growth of DLBCL, which were mediated by miR-494-3p/FGFR2 axis.Keywords: diffuse large B-cell lymphoma, SBF2-AS1, miR-494-3p, FGFR2, tumorigenesis

This paper presents an investigation of the boiling heat transfer of R141b in a mini-channel with a 2.42-mm inner diameter filled with metal foam. Investigations are performed at velocity of 0.01 m s−1 and temperature of 450 K. The coupled level set and volume-of-fluid method is applied to simulate flow boiling in metal foam. It considers that the bubble number and the average bubble area have influence on the heat transfer coefficient. The simulation model is verified by experimental data with an emphasis on the effect of boiling bubbles and turbulent kinetic energy on heat transfer. The simulation results show that even though the bubble motion range and vortices area is smaller, more vortices appear in the channel filled with foam metal, which increase the mixing frequency and improve the heat transfer performance. Meanwhile, the heat transfer coefficient is inversely proportional to the average bubble area but proportional to the bubble number. The relationship between turbulent kinetic energy and heat transfer coefficient is also compared. Results indicate that the differentiation of turbulent kinetic energy to time appears consistent with the heat transfer coefficient in the mini-channel filled with metal foam.

This experiment reports the experimental study on the heat transfer performance of water in the flow-boiling heat transfer process of different modified foam metal-filled channels. In the experiment, the foam metal has subjected to surface hydrophobicity treatment, surface roughness modification treatment, and gradient pore density stacking treatment. The mass flow rate is 50–150 ml/min, and the heat flux is 15 kW/m2 – 25 kW/m2. The pore density of foam metal is 20 PPI, 50 PPI, and 110 PPI. A high-speed camera, micro camera, and electron microscope are used to record and observe the internal flow of the channel, the results after surface treatment, and the related reaction mechanism. The experiment uses different modifications as the basis for grouping and uses heat flux and mass flow rate as variables to perform multiple sets of orthogonal experiments. At the same time, the prediction model of matching heat transfer coefficient and the correlation of pressure drop gradient are proposed. Construct a comprehensive evaluation index of heat exchange of porous foam metal, which is evaluating the heat exchange performance of foam metal that matches the change of resistance.

BACKGROUND Brucellosis is associated with inflammation and the oxidative stress response. Heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) is a cytoprotective stress-responsive enzyme that has anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidant effects. Nevertheless, the role of HO-1 in human brucellosis has not yet been studied. The aim of this study was to examine the plasma levels of HO-1 in patients with brucellosis and to evaluate the ability of plasma HO-1 levels as an auxiliary diagnosis, a severity predictor, and a monitor for brucellosis treatments. METHODS A total of 75 patients with brucellosis were divided into the acute, subacute, chronic active, and chronic stable groups. An additional 20 volunteers were included as the healthy control group. The plasma HO-1 levels and other laboratory parameters were measured in all groups. Furthermore, the plasma levels of HO-1 in the acute group were compared before and after treatment. RESULTS The plasma HO-1 levels were considerably increased in the acute (4.97 ± 3.55), subacute (4.98 ± 3.23), and chronic active groups (4.43 ± 3.00) with brucellosis compared to the healthy control group (1.03 ± 0.63) (p < 0.01). In the acute group, the plasma HO-1 levels in the post-treatment group (2.33 ± 2.39) were significantly reduced compared to the pre-treatment group (4.97 ± 3.55) (p < 0.01). On the other hand, the plasma HO-1 levels were higher in the chronic active group (4.43 ± 3.00) than the chronic stable group (2.74 ± 2.23) (p < 0.05). However, the plasma HO-1 levels in the chronic stable group (2.74 ± 2.23) remained higher than the levels in the healthy control group (1.03 ± 0.63) (p < 0.05). The HO-1 levels were positively correlated with the C-reactive protein (CRP) levels in patients with brucellosis (r = 0.707, p < 0.01). CONCLUSIONS The plasma HO-1 levels can reflect patients' brucellosis status and may be used as a supplementary plasma marker for diagnosing brucellosis and monitoring its treatment.

Besides wave attenuation, hollow-block mound breakwater acts as artificial reef which could protect the marine biology and repair the marine ecological environment. Transmission coefficient is the main index of breakwater’s wave attenuation effect evaluation. In this paper through the sectional model experiment on the special assembled hollow-block mound breakwater under regular wave, affecting factors (opening size, water depth, wave period, incident wave height) of the transmission coefficient of breakwater were studied. The main factors that influence the wave attenuation of the hollow-block mound breakwater are the opening size of the hollow-block and the depth of the water while the wave period and the wave height of the incident wave have less influence for the wave attenuation of the breakwater. The research results can provide the reference for the following theoretical research and engineering practice.
