To extract and structure knowledge from unstructured tag sets is a challenge for the tagging system. Although several methods have shown the ability to assign structures to the tags, their limitation still remains. Accordingly, this study investigates a method to build the place hierarchy of geo-referenced tags. In particular, the method is based on analyzing geometric patterns of footprints, derived from the tags. The objectives are to understand the structure of vernacular geography and to improve the image search by constructing tag semantics. First, the geographical regions are represented based on the large sets of the clustered collaborative tags on the place. Herein, the method to generate the chi-shape derives the footprints of the geographical regions. According to its geometric condition such as position, area, and centroid of the polygon, derived from each footprint, the place-tag hierarchies are constructed. The geographical boundaries between the place tags are established throughout the assigned footprints as well. In addition, our method enhances the accuracy of the tag hierarchies when compared to the previous research. Furthermore, the study also contributes to the development of the tag semantics and the comprehension of the vernacular geography.

In this paper, we suggest a new interactive game for children, Bubble Letters, which allows children to experience both real and virtual environments by interacting with physical interfaces. A user composes a message from the screen and displays it on the public screen. With this process, children can learn how to compose and deliver their messages to their friends with fun, and may also develop a conception of the world by involving physical interactions. Adults can also enjoy Bubble Letters by retrieving childhood memories through childlike acts with their children.

We created entertainment systems called "Hanmadang". The goal of the Hanmadang project is to allow players to experience massive face-to-face interaction. To reduce entry barriers of participation, it enables players to use their own mobile phone as an input interface by using an audio response system. Two games "Youngcha!" and "Hankanoid" are developed as parts of this project.

In this paper, we have designed shoes to provide active performance which enables the dancer to interact with sounds and images. This novel physical interface which we named 'the Shadow Dancer' consists of two systems. The first system is wearable physical interface that uses procedural input to enable dancer to create rhythmic pattern. The second system is sound and image output using speaker and display to interact against dancers. The combined system provides communication of interactive dancer. We have used rhythm of step dance as outline application for the field of interactive dance.
