The small intestine is one of the target organs of dietary selenium (Se) deficiency. Our objective was to investigate the effects of Se deficiency on small intestinal mucosa morphology and function in chickens. In the present study, 1-day (d)-old chickens were fed either a commercial diet with 0.15 mg/kg Se (control group) or a Se-deficient diet with 0.016 mg/kg Se (Se-group). The average daily weight gain, Se content in the blood, secretory immunoglobulin A (SIgA) secretion, and glutathione peroxidase (GSH-Px) activity in the small intestine in chickens were examined after 10, 20, 30, and 40 days of feeding. We also observed the morphology of the small intestine and recorded the number of intraepithelial lymphocytes (IELs). The average daily weight gain decreased; the level of Se in the blood decreased significantly; and SIgA secretion and GSH-Px activity in the duodenum, jejunum, and ileum decreased to different degrees. Histological analysis showed that the villus length, crypt depth, mucosal thickness, and number of IELs in the small intestine decreased to different extents in different periods. In the Se-group, longer feeding times were associated with more severe injury to physiological structure and function in the intestinal mucosa in chickens. In conclusion, Se deficiency induced injury of the mucosal immune barrier and physical barrier of the small intestine, and decreased the growth performance and antioxidant capacity in chickens.

Since November 2016, severe infectious diseases characterized by gout and kidney swelling and caused by goose astrovirus (GoAstV) have affected goslings in major goose-producing areas in China. In 2021, a similar serious infectious disease broke out in commercial goose farms in Heilongjiang Province, China. In this study, strain HLJ2021 was successfully isolated from goose embryos. Electron microscopy showed that the viral particles are spherical, with a diameter of about 28 nm. The complete genomic length of strain HLJ2021 is 7210 nt, and it encodes three viral proteins. In 2020, to trace the prevalence and evolution of bovine coronavirus (BCoV) in China, a total of 1383 samples (1016 fecal samples and 367 nasal swab samples) were collected from 1016 cattle exhibiting diarrhea symptoms on dairy farms and beef cattle farms in Heilongjiang Province, Northeast China. All samples were subjected to reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) detection of the BCoV N gene, followed by an analysis of its epidemiology and genetic evolution. The results indicated that of the 1016 diarrhea-affected cattle, 15.45% (157/1016) were positive for BCoV, in which positive rates of the fecal and nasal swab samples were 12.20% (124/1016) and 21.53% (79/367), respectively. Of the 367 cattle whose nasal swab samples were collected, the BCoV positive rate of the corresponding fecal samples was 15.26% (56/367). BCoV infection was significantly associated with age, farming pattern, cattle type, farm latitude, sample type, and clinical symptom (p 0.05). Of the 203 BCoV-positive samples, 20 spike (S) genes were successfully sequenced. The 20 identified BCoV strains shared nucleotide homologies of 97.7-100.0%, and their N-terminal domain of S1 subunit (S1-NTD: residues 15-298) differed genetically from the reference strains of South Korea and Europe. The emerging Porcine circovirus type 3 (PCV3) is associated with porcine dermatitis and nephropathy syndrome, reproductive failure and cardiac and multisystemic inflammation. To trace the prevalence and evolution of PCV3 in pigs with respiratory diseases or digestive diseases in China, 616 samples were collected from 21 provinces or municipalities of China from 2015 to 2017. All samples were analysed with PCR and a cap-gene-based phylogeny. Feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) is a fatal infectious disease of wild and domestic cats, and the occurrence of FIP is frequently reported in China. To trace the evolution of type I and II feline coronavirus in China, 115 samples of ascetic fluid from FIP‐suspected cats and 54 fecal samples from clinically healthy cats were collected from veterinary hospitals in China. The presence of FCoV in the samples was detected by RT‐PCR targeting the 6b gene. The results revealed that a total of 126 (74.6%, 126/169) samples were positive for FCoV: 75.7% (87/115) of the FIP‐suspected samples were positive for FCoV, and 72.2% (39/54) of the clinically healthy samples were positive for FCoV. Of the 126 FCoV‐positive samples, 95 partial S genes were successfully sequenced. The partial S gene‐based genotyping indicated that type I FCoV and type II FCoV accounted for 95.8% (91/95) and 4.2% (4/95), respectively. The partial S gene‐based phylogenetic analyses showed that the 91 type I FCoV strains exhibited genetic diversity; the four type II FCoV strains exhibited a close relationship with type II FCoV strains from Taiwan. Background Pseudorabies (PR), caused by the pseudorabies virus (PRV), is an endemic disease in some regions of China. Although there are many reports on epidemiological investigations into pseudorabies, information on PRV gI antibody dynamics in one pig farm is sparse. Objectives To diagnose PR and analyze the course of PR eradication in one pig farm. Methods Ten brains and 1,513 serum samples from different groups of pigs in a pig farm were collected to detect PRV gE gene and PRV gI antibody presence using real-time polymerase chain reaction and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, respectively. Results The July 2015 results indicated that almost all brain samples were PRV gE gene positive, but PRV gI antibody results in the serum samples of the same piglets were all negative. In the boar herd, from October 2015 to July 2018 three positive individuals were culled in October 2015, and the negative status of the remaining boars was maintained in the following tests. In the sow herd, the PRV gI antibody positive rate was always more than 70% from October 2015 to October 2017; however, it decreased to 27% in January 2018 but increased to 40% and 52% in April and July 2018, respectively. The PRV gI antibody positive rate in 100-day pigs markedly decreased in October 2016 and was maintained at less than 30% in the following tests. For 150-day pigs, the PRV gI antibody positive rate decreased notably to 10% in April 2017 and maintained a negative status from July 2017. The positive trend of PRV gI antibody with an increase in pig age remarkably decreased in three tests in 2018. Conclusions The results indicate that serological testing is not sensitive in the early stage of a PRV infection and that gilt introduction is a risk factor for a PRV-negative pig farm. The data on PRV gI antibody dynamics can provide reference information for pig farms wanting to eradicate PR.

Fusobacterium necrophorum, a Gram-negative anaerobe, is an important bovine pathogen that causes hepatic abscesses, foot rot, mastitis and endometritis. We have previously shown that the 43 kDa outer membrane protein (43 K OMP) of F. necrophorum is a porin protein that plays an important role in bacterial infections; however, the molecular mechanisms by which this protein mediates adhesion remain unclear. In this study, we investigated the role of 43 K OMP in F. necrophorum adhesion to bovine epithelial cells using 43 K OMP-deficient mutants, and identified the protein that interacts with 43 K OMP by immunoprecipitation-mass spectrometry. Our results indicated that the native 43 K OMP and recombinant 43 K OMP could bind to the cell membrane of MAC-T or bovine endometrial epithelial cells (BEECs). When F. necrophorum was preincubated with antibodies against the recombinant 43 K OMP or bovine epithelial cells were preincubated with 43 K OMP, the adhesion of F. necrophorum to MAC-T or BEECs decreased significantly (P0.01). We successfully constructed a 43 K OMP-deficient strain (A25Δ43 K OMP) and bacterial attachment to MAC-T or BEECs was significantly higher with the F. necrophorum A25 strain than with mutant strain A25Δ43 K OMP (P0.01). The deficiency of 43 K OMP reduced the binding of F. necrophorum to bovine epithelial cells by 90.5 %-94.9 %. Among the 39 potential differential proteins, fibronectin, collagen and myosin were selected as the target proteins, and direct interaction between 43 K OMP of F. necrophorum and fibronectin was demonstrated. Taken together, these results suggest that 43 K OMP plays a key role in adhesion of F. necrophorum to bovine epithelial cells through its interaction with fibronectin. These findings provide a theoretical basis for the pathogenic mechanism of F. necrophorum.

Single-nucleotide variants (SNV) detection with high abundance sensitivity is of great significance in clinical application, molecular diagnostics and biological research. In this study, a high abundance sensitivity SNV detection strategy based on entropy-driven catalytic (EDC) amplification adjusted by stoichiometry is proposed. In EDC, the toehold exchange reaction is used to initiate subsequent catalytic reaction and can be adjusted by stoichiometry. When the by-product concentration in the toehold exchange reaction is excessive, the forward reaction will be inhibited, which can reduce or even block the unexpected reaction between the non-target and the probe. Meanwhile, some targets can still successfully take a toehold exchange reaction with the probe, thus completing the subsequent EDC. By adjusting the EDC, the SNV identification specificity of this system was improved and is superior to any single adjusted stoichiometry or EDC. When the low abundance target is detected from the mixture, this strategy enables SNV detection at 0.1% abundance with high abundance sensitivity. And even if the mixture contains three kind of 1000-fold interference sequences, this strategy can still discriminate the target SNV. Furthermore, the practical applicability of the adjusted EDC system was verified by p53 mutation discrimination in human urine.

Identification of single-nucleotide variants (SNVs) is of great significance in molecular diagnosis. The problem that should not be ignored in the identification process is that the unexpected secondary structure of the target nucleic acid may greatly affect the detection accuracy. Herein, we proposed a conditional domain-level SNV diagnosis strategy, in which the subsequent SNV detection can only be carried out after eliminating the unexpected secondary structure of target DNA. Specifically, the target DNA is assembled into a rigid double strand, which makes folding the target DNA difficult and the unexpected secondary structure is eliminated. Based on this double-stranded structure, specially designed probes are used to detect double-stranded properties and report abundant domain-level oligonucleotide information to improve the effective information in the detection results and complete domain-level SNV diagnosis. If the unexpected secondary structure is not eliminated, the detector will first detect it and feed back to us, ensuring the accuracy of the subsequent detection results. With the occurrence (or not) of SNV and the change of the SNV site, in the proof-of-concept experiment, we successfully identified the four homologous sequences to be tested related to BRAF gene.

Porcine epidemic diarrhoea virus (PEDV) is an emerging and re‐emerging epizootic virus of swine that causes substantial economic losses to the pig industry in China and other countries. The variations in the virus, and its co‐infections with other enteric viruses, have contributed to the poor control of PEDV infection. In the current study, a broad epidemiological investigation of PEDV was carried out in 22 provinces or municipalities of China during 2015–2018. The enteric viruses causing co‐infection with PEDV and the genetic diversity of the PEDV S1 gene were also analysed. The results indicated that, of the 543 diarrhoea samples, 66.85% (363/543) were positive for PEDV, and co‐infection rates of PEDV with 13 enteric viruses ranged from 3.58% (13/363) to 81.55% (296/363). Fusobacterium necrophorum is a Gram negative, spore-free, anaerobic bacterium that can cause pyogenic and necrotic infections in animals and humans. It is a major bovine pathogen and causes hepatic abscesses, foot rot, and necrotic laryngitis. The 43K OMP of F. necrophorum is an outer membrane protein with molecular weight of 43 kDa, exhibiting similarity to pore-forming proteins of other Fusobacterium species that plays an important role in bacterial infections. However, the role of 43K OMP in F. necrophorum adhesion remains unknown. In this study, we evaluated whether the 43K OMP of F. necrophorum mediates adhesion to BHK-21 cells and performed a preliminary screen of the proteins that interact with 43K OMP of F. necrophorum by immunoprecipitation-mass spectrometry. The results showed that the natural 43K OMP and recombinant 43K OMP could bind to BHK-21 cells, and preincubation of F. necrophorum with an antibody against the recombinant 43K OMP of F. necrophorum decreased binding to BHK-21 cells. Seventy differential interacting proteins were successfully screened by immunoprecipitation-mass spectrometry. Among these seventy differential interacting proteins, seven cell membrane proteins and four extracellular matrix proteins shown to be relevant to bacteria adhesion through subcellular localization and single-molecule function analysis. These data increase our understanding of the pathogenesis of F. necrophorum and provide a new theoretical basis for the design of antimicrobial drugs against F. necrophorum.

It is significant to evaluate the development level of new energy vehicles quantitatively and analyze the effects of the support policies promulgated in this field. The former scholars used the static analysis methods of subjective and objective combination which made the persuasive power of the results greatly reduced due to the limitations in time and space. This paper establishes a quantitative analysis of the development level about new energy vehicles in selected cities by establishing a developmental evaluation model based on Cobb-Douglas utility function. Then examine the exogenous effects of cluster and plunder effects brought by policies on the development of new energy vehicles and make a second revision of the quantitative analysis results obtained before. Finally, the sensitivity analysis results of the established model show that it has high accuracy.

In recent years, new energy vehicles have occupied more and more market shares. If its monthly sales are predicted, it can provide reference for the production of enterprises and the formulation of national policies. However, the current prediction model does not consider the various factors that affect the sales, and the prediction is not accurate enough. Firstly, according to the periodicity of monthly sales, the wavelet neural network prediction model is established in this paper, and compared with the actual value, the result is ideal. The BP neural network prediction model is established to obtain more accurate prediction results by comprehensively considering four factors, including season, oil price change, technologies progress of new energy vehicles and government policy. The results show that the average error of prediction is 5%, which has good application value.

Recently, parainfluenza virus 5 (PIV5) infection has been increasingly reported in mammals. In this study, five PIV5 strains were isolated from diarrhea-affected piglets from four provinces or municipalities in China. An F-gene-based phylogenetic tree indicated that the five isolated strains were closely related to the PIV5 strain ZJQ-221 from a lesser panda in China, and the PIV5 strain 1168-1 from a dog in South Korea. The new isolates differed genetically from other pig, calf, rhesus macaque kidney cells, human, and dog PIV5 reference strains. Our study reveals the presence of PIV5 in intestinal tissue samples collected from diarrhea-affected piglets, and provides novel information regarding the epidemiology and tissue tropism of PIV5.

To trace the prevalence of canine distemper virus (CDV) in diarrhoetic dogs, a total of 201 stool samples were collected in the Heilongjiang province of northeastern China from May 2014 to April 2015. The 201 fecal samples were subjected to the detection of CDV by using RT-PCR targeting the partial N gene, phylogenetic analysis based on the complete H gene, and co-infection analysis. Results indicated that 24.88% (50/201) of the samples were positive for CDV. The fifty CDV samples exhibited an overall co-infection rate of 94% (47/50) with four enteric viruses (82%, 41/50) and five bacteria (72%, 36/50). The positivity rate of CDV exhibited differences among regions, seasons, ages and immunization status. Phylogenetic analysis of the complete H genes (n=6) revealed that the CDV strains identified in our study belonged to the Asia-1 group, and showed genetic diversities. These data provide evidence that there are a number of genetically diverse CDV Asia-1 strains circulating in diarrhoetic dogs in northeastern China; the CDV-affected animals exhibit the high co-infection with other enteric viruses and bacteria.

Manganese (Mn) pollution is an important environmental problem because of the potential toxicity to human and animal health. However, the effects of Mn on energy metabolism and autophagy are not clear. Consequently, we examined the effects of excessive and chronic exposure to Mn on liver function, oxidative stress, respiratory chain complex activity, and autophagy in chicken liver. Our results indicated that the accumulation of Mn in the liver and levels of AST and ALT in the serum of the Mn-exposed group were significantly higher (P < 0.05) than those in the control group at 90 days; the activities of GSH-Px, SOD, CAT, Na+-K+-ATPase, Mg2+-ATPase, Ca2+-ATPase, and respiratory chain complexes (I, II, III) in the Mn-exposed group were significantly decreased (P < 0.05) compared to the control group. However, the MDA content, NO content, iNOS activity, mRNA and protein levels of iNOS, and autophagy-related genes in the Mn-exposed group were significantly increased (P < 0.05) compared to the control group. In contrast, the mRNA level and protein expression of mTOR were significantly decreased (P < 0.05) compared to the control group. Furthermore, the characteristic autophagic vacuolar organelles were observed in the Mn-exposed group. These results suggested that excess Mn exposure can cause a disorder of energy metabolism by mitochondrial injury and induce oxidative stress and autophagy, which eventually lead to liver damage.

Purpose : To systematically evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Compound Danshen injection in patients with pregnancy-induced hypertension (PIH). Methods : PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library, Chinese biomedical literature database (CBM), VIP (xiAn), China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and Wan Fang databases were searched up to March 20, 2018, for all randomized controlled trials (RCTs) on the use of Compound Danshen injection in patients with PIH. Data were extracted from included studies after assessing the quality of literature. Revman 5.3 software was used for statistical analysis． Results : A total of 18 RCTs involving 1735 patients were included. The results of meta-analysis indicated that the study group was superior to the control group in clinical effectiveness (RR = 1.15, 95 % CI: 1.02 - 1.30); intrauterine fetal distress (RR = 0.26, 95 % CI: 0.09 - 0.70); cesarean section (RR = 0.72, 95 % CI: 0.58 - 0.90), and neonatal asphyxia (RR = 0.23, 95 % CI: 0.11 - 0.48). There were no statistical differences in fetal heart rate abnormalities (RR = 0.58, 95 %, CI: 0.33 - 1.02, p > 0.05) and postpartum hemorrhage (RR = 0.86, 95 % CI: 0.53 - 1.42) between the two groups. Conclusion : Treatment of PIH with Compound Danshen injection (alone or in combination) is superior to the use of conventional western medical treatment in safety and effectiveness. However, higher quality clinical studies are needed to confirm these results because most trials included in this study were of low quality. The entry mechanism of porcine epidemic diarrhea virus (PEDV) remains unclear, especially the virus receptor. Our previous study revealed a potential correlation between integrin αvβ3 and PEDV infection. In the current study, the effect of overexpression, silencing, antibody inhibition, and co-expression with porcine aminopeptidase N (pAPN) of integrin αvβ3 on PEDV infection was investigated and analyzed in African green monkey Vero E6 cells and porcine intestinal epithelial cells (IECs) using the classical strain CV777 and variant strain HM2017 of PEDV. Integrin αvβ3 significantly enhanced the replication of the classical and variant strains of PEDV in Vero E6 cells and IECs. The integrin αv and β3 subunits were both involved in the enhancement of PEDV infection, the Arg-Gly-Asp peptides targeting integrin αvβ3 significantly inhibited replication of PEDV in Vero E6 cells, and co-expression of integrin αvβ3 with pAPN significantly enhanced replication of PEDV in Vero E6 and BHK-21 cells. These results demonstrate that integrin αvβ3 enhances PEDV replication in Vero E6 cells and IECs. These data provide novel insights into the entry mechanism of PEDV.

To trace evolution of CBoV in Northeast China, 201 fecal samples from rectal swabs of diarrheic dogs collected from May 2014 to April 2015 were investigated using PCR targeting partial NS1 gene (440 bp). Furthermore, phylogenetic analysis of the identified CBoV strains was conducted using nucleotide sequences of the partial NS1 gene. The results indicated that 15 of 201 fecal samples (7.5%) were positive for CBoV; the partial NS1 genes of the 15 CBoV strains exhibited 83.1%–100% nucleotide identity, and 75.8%–100% amino acid identity; the entire VP2 gene of five selected CBoV strains exhibited 82.9%–96.8% nucleotide identity, and 90.4%–99.1% amino acid identity. The 15 CBoV strains exhibited high co-infection rates with CPV-2 (40%), CCoV (20%), and CaKV (26.67%). Phylogenetic analysis of the partial NS1 gene revealed that the 15 CBoV strains were divided into different subgroups of CBoV-2 when compared with CBoV-2 strains from South Korea, USA, Germany, and Hong Kong in China. Moreover, phylogenetic analysis of the VP2 gene indicated that five selected CBoV strains were divided into three different genetic groups of CBoV-2, involving in CBoV-2HK group, CBoV-2C group, and CBoV-2B group. The recombination analysis using the entire VP2 gene revealed three potential recombination events that occurred among five selected strains in our study. These data demonstrated that the CBoV strains circulating in Heilongjiang province, Northeast China showed genetic diversities, potential recombination events, and high co-infection rate. Canine kobuviruses (CaKVs) are newly recognized picornaviruses that have been recently detected in dogs in the U.S.A., Italy, U.K., the Republic of Korea and Tanzania. To trace the evolution of CaKV strains, a total of 201 fecal samples from rectal swabs of diarrheic dogs, which were obtained from May 2014 to April 2015 in northeast China, were detected by reverse transcription-PCR targeting a partial (504 bp) fragment of the 3D gene. Furthermore, a phylogenetic analysis of the CaKV strains identified in northeast China was conducted based on the partial 3D gene sequence. The results indicated that 36 fecal samples (17.91%, 36/201) were positive for CaKV, in which the co-infection rates of canine coronavirus, canine parvovirus-2 and canine bocavirus were 58.33%, 41.67%, and 11.11%, respectively. Sequence comparison of the partial 3D gene revealed nucleotide homologies of 94.4-100%, 95.6-98.6%, 94.3-97.6%, 94.4-96.3% and 93.3-95.1% within the 36 Chinese CaKV strains, and between the 36 Chinese CaKV strains and four CaKV reference strains from South Korea, Italy, U.S.A. and Tanzania, respectively. A phylogenetic tree revealed that the 36 Chinese CaKV strains formed one specific CaKV lineage with CaKVs that have recently been identified in other countries. The 36 Chinese CaKV strains were closely related to CaKV reference strains from Asia and Europe, but differed genetically from CaKV reference strains from North America and Africa. This study provides evidence that CaKVs circulate in diarrhoetic dogs in China and that they exhibit substantial genetic diversity and high co-infection rates with other enteric viruses.

Recently, porcine deltacoronavirus (PDCoV) has been proven to be associated with enteric disease in piglets. Diagnostic tools for serological surveys of PDCoV remain in the developmental stage when compared with those for other porcine coronaviruses. In our study, an indirect enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) (rPDCoV-N-ELISA) was developed to detect antibodies against PDCoV using a histidine-tagged recombinant nucleocapsid (N) protein as an antigen. The rPDCoV-N-ELISA did not cross-react with antisera against porcine epidemic diarrhea virus, swine transmissible gastroenteritis virus, porcine group A rotavirus, classical swine fever virus, porcine circovirus-2, porcine pseudorabies virus, and porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus; the receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis revealed 100% sensitivity and 90.4% specificity of the rPDCoV-N-ELISA based on samples of known status (n=62). Analyses of field samples (n=319) using the rPDCoV-N-ELISA indicated that 11.59% of samples were positive for antibodies against PDCoV. These data demonstrated that the rPDCoV-N-ELISA can be used for epidemiological investigations of PDCoV and that PDCoV had a low serum prevalence in pig population in Heilongjiang province, northeast China.

In the plasma of dairy cows with 1-5 points of lameness, the mineral elements [calcium (Ca), iron (Fe), copper (Cu), zinc (Zn), iodine (I), selenium (Se), molybdenum (Mo), and chromium (Cr)], the energy metabolic indicators [triglyceride (TG), glucose (Glu), total cholesterol (CHO), nonesterified fatty acids (NEFA), β-hydroxybutyrate (BHBA), lactate (LA), and blood urea nitrogen (BUN)], and inflammatory indexes [bovine haptoglobin (BoHp), histamine (HIS), and immunoglobulin G (IgG)] were measured, respectively. Furthermore, the correlations of the measured indicators with the degrees of lameness were analyzed. The results showed that in the plasma of dairy cows with 2/3-5 points of lameness, for the mineral elements' levels, Ca, Cu, I, Se, and Fe significantly decreased, Cr significantly increased, and Mo showed a decreasing trend; for levels of the energy metabolism indicators, NEFA and BHBA significantly decreased, BUN and LA significantly increased, and Glu, CHO, and TG showed an increasing trend; for inflammation indexes, the concentrations of HIS, BoHp, and IgG all significantly increased; and further analysis indicated that the Mo, Fe, NEFA, BUN, BHBA, IgG, Ca, and Se had a significant correlation with the degrees of lameness. Resulting data revealed the changes of mineral elements, metabolism, and inflammation indexes in the plasma of dairy cows suffering from different degrees of lameness, which will provided basic knowledge for in-depth understanding of lameness in dairy cows.

The national standard veterinarian qualification examination, which starts running in 2010 in China, is a major reform about management system of veterinary practitioners. The veterinary education is subjected to a new requirement due to the performance of the national standard veterinarian qualification examination. In the current review, the overview of veterinary education in Heilongjiang Bayi Agricultural University (HBAU) was described, and some positive suggestions were provided about the veterinary clinical diagnostics course, which is an important compulsory course undertaken by undergraduate, based on the national standard veterinarian qualification examination in China.

Female, 8-week-old BALB/c mice were immunized with purified recombinant proteins of the predicted immunodominant region of bovine haptoglobin (pirBoHp). Two monoclonal antibodies (MAbs), named 1B3 and 6D6, were prepared by conventional B lymphocyte hybridoma technique. Titers of ascitic fluid and cell culture supernatant of MAb 1B3 were 1:9.6 × 10(8) and 1:8.2 × 10(4), respectively, and that of MAb 6D6 were 1:4.4 × 10(5) and 1:1.0 × 10(4), respectively. The subtype of MAbs 1B3 and 6D6 was IgG1κ. In Western blot analysis, MAbs 1B3 and 6D6 could recognize the α-chain of native BoHp from plasma of dairy cows. These data indicated that MAbs 1B3 and 6D6 have a potential use for developing diagnostic reagents of BoHp.
