The well known chi(2) goodness of fit test for a multinomial distribution is generally biased when observations are subject to misclassification. In this paper, based on a double sampling scheme, the family of phi-divergence test statistics is introduced for testing goodness of fit under misclassification of the data. The case of binomial data is discussed and an illustrative example is also given. Biometrical Journal

ÖZET İKİ AŞAMALI ÖRNEKLEME YÖNTEMİ İLE İKİ DE?ERLİ BA?IMLI VERİDEN TAHMİN iki farklı grubu ayrıştırma işlemi için elimizde iki türlü ölçüm yöntemi olduğunu varsayalım. Bunlardan ilki pahalı fakat sınıflandırmayı doğru yapsın. ikincisi ise diğerine göre daha ucuz fakat sınıflandırmada hata yapma olasılığı olsun. Aynı zamanda, bu hata olasılıklarının, nesnelerin birbirlerine olan bağımlılığından dolayı farklılaşma gösterdiğini kabul edelim. Bu çalışmada, iki aşamalı örnekleme yönteminin hata olasılıklarının bağımlılığı durumunda oran tahmini amacına nasıl yardımcı olabileceği anlatılacaktır. Bu metodta, önce ilgilendiğimiz popülasyondan N büyüklüğünde bir örnek alınır. Buradaki bütün birimler hatalı ölçüm yöntemi ile sınıflandırılır. Daha sonra bu örnekten n büyüklüğünde bir örnek alınır ve doğru ölçüm yöntemi ile sınıflandırılır. Gruplardan birinin oran tahmini için formül geliştirilmiş ve bu örneklem sonucu elde edilen bilgiler bu formülde kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, tahmin edicinin asimtotik varyansının hesabı için de bir formül geliştirilmiştir ve bu geliştirilen formüllerin ispatı verilmiştir. Güvenirlik katsayısının hesabi ve optimum Nve n değerlerinin saptanması için formüller elde edilmiş ve yine bu formüllerin çıkarımı gösterilmiştir. Bir benzetişim çalışması örnek olarak verilmiştir. The first device is an expensive procedure which classifies units correctly. The second device which is relatively cheap tends to misclassify the units, where the probability of misclassif ication changes from one sampling unit to another because of the dependence between the units. Here, a double sampling procedure is presented in order to estimate the proportion of units p, falling into one of the categories. At the first step a random sample of size N is taken and classified by the fallible device; then a subsample of size n is drawn out of N and classified by the true device. Combining the information gathered by these two devices, the maximum likelihood estimator of p and asymptotic variance of this estimator is derived. i i iThe formula for the calculation of the coefficient of reliability is also obtained. Optimum values of N and n are derived under different objectives and constraints. An example is given by running a simulation program.
