In recent years, there has been a notable increase in the consumption of fossil energy, leading to a significant rise in environmental pollution, particularly in China due to its rapid development. This has resulted in the frequent occurrence of large‐scale fog and haze weather, highlighting the urgent need for environmental protection measures. To gain insights into the atmospheric conditions in China, an analysis was conducted on the wet deposition of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in a remote region of Central South China from 2014 to 2017. The study revealed that the average concentrations and peak values of Ʃ16PAHs in 2014 and 2015 were considerably higher than those observed in 2016 and 2017. Furthermore, it was found that five‐ring PAH species were the predominant components during 2014 and 2015, indicating a shift in the main sources of PAHs. The peaks of Ʃ16PAHs were predominantly detected in samples collected during light rain in the winter, specifically on days without heavy rainfall. This can be attributed to the absence of heavy rain, which would otherwise reduce the concentration of air pollutants. Consequently, contaminants accumulated in the air are easily enriched in rainwater. The concentrations of Ʃ15Alkyl‐PAHs also exhibited a significant correlation with the number of rainfall days. Notably, a much higher annual average concentration of Ʃ15Alkyl‐PAHs was observed in 2017, which experienced fewer rainfall days. Coal combustion, petroleum sources, and vehicular emissions accounted for 58%, 12%, and 30% of the PAHs in the air, respectively. Despite improvements in air quality in China since 2016, it is crucial to address the elevated concentrations of PAHs in the atmosphere, particularly under adverse meteorological conditions characterized by reduced rainfall. Two-dimensional (2D) phthalocyanine-based covalent organic frameworks (COFs) provide an ideal platform for efficient and rapid gas sensing—this can be attributed to their regular structure, moderate conductivity, and a large number of scalable metal active centers. However, there remains a need to explore structural modification strategies for optimizing the sluggish desorption process caused by the extensive porosity and strong adsorption effect of metal sites. Herein, we reported a 2D bimetallic phthalocyanine-based COF (COF-CuNiPc) as chemiresistive gas sensors that exhibited a high gas-sensing performance to nitrogen dioxide (NO2). Bimetallic COF-CuNiPc with an asymmetric synergistic effect achieves a fast adsorption/desorption process to NO2. It is demonstrated that the COF-CuNiPc can detect 50 ppb NO2 with a recovery time of 7 s assisted by ultraviolet illumination. Compared with single-metal phthalocyanine-based COFs (COF-CuPc and COF-NiPc), the bimetallic structure of COF-CuNiPc can provide a proper band gap to interact with NO2 gas molecules. The CuNiPc heterometallic active site expands the overlap of d-orbitals, and the optimized electronic arrangement accelerates the adsorption/desorption processes. The concept of a synergistic effect enabled by bimetallic phthalocyanines in this work can provide an innovative direction to design high-performance chemiresistive gas sensors. Surface sediment samples (n = 92) were collected from Hangzhou Bay to investigate the transport and deposition of polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) and to assess the ecological risks in Hangzhou Bay. The concentrations of ∑ 7 PBDEs (sum of BDE-28, 47, 99, 100, 153, 154, 183) and BDE-209 ranged from 3.61 to 91.09 pg g−1 and from non-detectable to 2007.52 pg g−1 (dry weight), respectively. The high values of ∑ 7 PBDEs and BDE-209 were commonly occurred at the northeast of Hangzhou Bay and the Nanhui Spit coast of Shanghai. Compared with the south part of the bay, the dominance of BDE-209 was more prominent and the linear correlations between PBDEs concentrations and TOCs as well as median grain size were more significant in the northern Hangzhou Bay. Hydrodynamic forcing on the transport and deposition of PBDEs is primarily responsible for the discrepancy of this spatial distribution in these two parts. In addition to BDE-209, BDEs-153, 99, 47, and 100 were also the abundant congeners. Three principal components were extracted using principal component analysis (PCA), mainly attributed to human activities, erosion of polluted soils via surface runoff and release from products for PC1, PC2 and PC3, respectively. The calculation results of mass inventories, hazard quotients (HQs) and risk quotients (RQs) indicated that the ecological risk of PBDEs in Hangzhou Bay was low. The multiple effect of hydrodynamic forcing with complicated and large-scope tidal currents made it hard to deposit for organic matters and contaminants in Hangzhou Bay. • BDE-209 was dominant in the north area of Hangzhou Bay. • ∑ 7 PBDEs decreased from coastal areas to the center of Hangzhou Bay. • Hydrodynamic forcing influenced spatial distribution of PBDEs. • Hangzhou Bay is at low risk level at present. • Organic matters and contaminants are hard to deposit in Hangzhou Bay. Hetero-layered iron–nitrogen coordination between g-C3N4 and graphene nanomeshes was developed for superior electrocatalytic activity in the oxygen reduction reaction. Compared with the performance of g-C3N4 or atomic Fe embedded in g-C3N4 in the oxygen reduction reaction, the current density at −0.5 V of the two-dimensional hetero-hybrid of atomic Fe, g-C3N4 and graphene was enhanced 13 times, and the half-wave potential of the hybrid positively shifted to 0.278 V. The hybrid exhibited superior electrocatalytic activity with a 20 mV more positive half-wave potential, higher current density, better methanol tolerance and longer-term stability compared to commercial Pt–C. This enhancement originated from mesh-on-mesh exposed inter-layer bridged Fe–N4.1 coordination active sites between g-C3N4 and graphene, which favored a four-electron pathway accompanied by the improvement of the conductivity and mass transport. Superior performance, including a low charge–discharge voltage gap over 20 h of cyling, of the hybrid-based Zn–air battery was achieved. This strategy of the hetero-layered interfacial metal–nitrogen coordination between different 2D materials is a general approach to develop advanced electrocatalysts for sustainable energy applications. Background: This study aimed to improve the accuracy of the fibrinogen (Fib) prothrombin time-derived (PT-der) method. To achieve this, a value transfer method was introduced for calibration, and its effectiveness was assessed., Methods: The PT-der Fib assay was calibrated by pooled samples (assigned by the von Clauss method) in three different ways: 1) multipoint calibration using an automatic dilution system, 2) multipoint calibration using a manual dilution method, and 3) manual calibration with multiple concentrations. Three calibration equations (1, 2, and 3) were obtained and an optimal equation was selected by comparing the detection results of the von Clauss method with the PT-der method. Subsequently, the optimal equation was assessed for an accuracy limit, and linear analysis and reference interval verification were performed following the guidelines (EP15-A and EP6-A) issued by the CLSI., Results: Compared with the other two equations (equation 1 and 2), equation 3, available from manual calibration with multiple concentrations, showed a better performance for the PT-der determination in a primary cohort (n = 208), and a good agreement (99% of the results between 1.52 and 6.30 g/L were interchangeable) was validated (n = 3226). The reference interval was also verified in almost all healthy individuals (39/40). However, the discrep-ancy between the two methods was observed in several specific conditions, such as hyperfibrinolysis., Conclusions: Manual calibration with multiple concentrations is better for the Fib PT-der method assay. As a rapid, accurate, and economical test, the performance of the Fib PT-der method has been verified and may be more applicable than before.
