The clinical and microbiological data of patients infected with K. pneumoniae (K.pn) were collected; the clinical characteristics of patients infected with carbapenem-susceptible K.pn and CRKP were analyzed using logistic regression analysis.Results: CRKP infection was significantly associated with prior carbapenem use (odds ratio [OR] and 95% credibility interval [CI]: 5.161 [1.840– 32.233], P < 0.001), the use of more than three types of antibiotics for seven or more days (OR and 95% CI: 9.681 [2.662– 18.122], P < 0.001), tracheotomy (OR and 95% CI: 5.015 [2.343– 11.724], P < 0.001), and intensive care unit (ICU) stay (OR and 95% CI: 6.322 [2.02– 12.231], P < 0.001). The risk of death in patients with CRKP infection was significantly associated with older age (OR and 95% CI of 70– 80 years: 8.894 [1.972– 67.346], P < 0.001; ≥ 80 years: 15.234 [2.072– 93.452], P < 0.001), renal dysfunction (OR and 95% CI: 1.672 [1.104– 7.451], P = 0.016), tracheotomy (OR and 95% CI: 2.051 [1.217– 11.235], P = 0.002), and ICU stay (OR and 95% CI: 3.043 [2.174– 18.453], P < 0.001).Conclusion: Prior to carbapenem use, older age, renal dysfunction, tracheotomy, and ICU stay were independent risk factors for death in patients infected with CRKP.Keywords: Klebsiella pneumoniae, carbapenems, drug resistance, risk factors, antibiotics, Beijing

[Objective] Soil acidification, structure and fertility degradation and poor water-holding capacities are common problems in the apple orchard on the Loess Plateau, effective soil improvement techniques are crucial for enhancing soil quality, and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of the orchards. [Methods] Based on 75 publications and 1 302 field trial datasets on soil improvement in the apple orchards of the Loess Plateau, meta-analysis and principal component analysis (PCA) were used to quantitatively evaluate the effects of different improvement measures, including mulching, fertilization, and soil conditioners, on soil quality. [Results] The results indicated that grass mulching, plastic film mulching, straw mulching, and gravel mulching effectively reduced soil bulk density by 6.63%, 5.96%, 6.04%, and 6.40%, respectively. Additionally, grass mulching and straw mulching also significantly increased soil nutrient contents. Chemical fertilizer effectively increased available nitrogen (by 111.17%), available phosphorus (by 112.29%), and available potassium (by 43.95%), respectively. Organic fertilizer not only increased soil available nutrients, but also significantly increased soil organic matter (by 57.19%), total nitrogen (by 57.64%), and nitrate-nitrogen (by 94.51%). Combined application of organic and inorganic fertilizer significantly reduced soil bulk density (5.58%) and increased nutrient contents. Water-retaining agents effectively reduced soil bulk density (by 4.88%), increased total nitrogen (by 40.90%) and nitrate-nitrogen (by 143.51%). Biochar significantly increased soil organic matter (by 39.35%), nitrate-nitrogen (by 91.23%), and available phosphorus (by 89.70%). Soil quality assessment results indicated that soil quality index (SQI) ranked as 7.72 (organic fertilizer) > 7.68 (straw mulching) > 7.20 (organic-inorganic fertilizer) > 6.05 (water-retaining agent) > 5.99 (grass mulching) > 5.94 (biochar) > 5.79 (chemical fertilizer) > 3.53 (plastic film mulching) > 2.63 (gravel mulching). [Conclusion] Considering the practical conditions of soil quality and apple orchards yields, it is suggested that straw mulching and combined application of organic and inorganic fertilizer should be prioritized as measures to improve orchard soil quality, followed by organic fertilizers and grass mulching.

Against the background of the goal of “carbon peak and carbon neutrality”， it will be inevitable to form multi-agent cooperative alliance between pumped storage stations， wind power stations， and photovoltaic power stations driven by interests. However， the form of multi-agent cooperative alliance is not static and may break down during the evolution process. Evolutionary games are commonly used to study the cooperative operation of entities in the electricity market， so it can be used to study the long-term stability of cooperative alliances. However， as a non completely rational game method， it ignores the complexity and randomness of the game process. This article constructed a benefit coordination model based on evolutionary game theory， optimized the output of each agents， and solves the evolutionary game benefit matrix. Then， this article constructed tripartite determine evolutionary game model and stochastic evolutionary game model of wind power stations， solar power stations and pumped storage stations， revealing the mechanism of the formation and rupture of multi-agent cooperative alliance. Based on actual data from a certain province， this article concludes that it is feasible for pumped storage stations to participate as entities in the cooperative alliance in the future， and the cooperative alliance can be divided into initial stage， development stage， and rupture stage according to the proportion of new energy installed capacity； Under the influence of random interference factors， there is a possibility for solar power stations to withdraw from the alliance in advance； The stable cooperative alliance has shown excellent performance in ensuring the consumption of new energy. The above conclusions provide theoretical support for the participation of pumped storage power stations in profit oriented cooperative alliances， and provide direction for power grid companies to maintain the stability of cooperative alliances.

In this study, the effect of Bangia fusco-purpurea polysaccharide (BFP) on Escherichia coli adhesion to Caco-2 monolayers and its potential mechanism was studied using an in vitro human colon adenocarcinoma cell (Caco-2) monolayer model. The effect of BFP on the adhesion of E. coli to Caco-2 monolayers was analyzed by fluorescence labeling with carboxyfluorescein diacetate and succinimidyl ester (CFDA-SE), and its effect on the gene expression of integrin β1 in Caco-2 cells, the adhesin FimH in E. coli, and inflammatory factors (IL-1β, IL-8 and TNF-α) induced by E. coli adhesion to Caco-2 cells and the tight junction proteins zonula occludens 1 (ZO-1) and occludin were analyzed using real-time polymerase chain reaction (real-time PCR). Also, the protein expression of ZO-1 and occludin in Caco-2 monolayers was detected using Western Blot analysis. Our results showed that BFP at concentrations of 400–800 μg/mL significantly inhibited the adhesion of E. coli to Caco-2 monolayers mainly by down-regulating the gene expression of integrin β1 in Caco-2 cells and FimH in E. coli. In addition, BFP significantly inhibited the up-regulation of inflammatory cytokine gene expression and the down-regulation of ZO-1 and occludin protein and gene expression induced by in Caco-2 cells induced by E. coli and its culture supernatant. In conclusion, BFP inhibited the adhesion of E. coli to Caco-2 cell monolayers, which will lay a scientific basis for the development of novel antimicrobial products and the high-value utilization and deep processing of BFP.

Purposes In order to solve the computational cost problem of complex model in time and hardware, and improve the performance of speech enhancement algorithm, a speech enhancement algorithm using multi-task adaptive knowledge distillation is proposed. Methods First, the idea of knowledge distillation is adopted to solve the problems that the existing speech enhancement model is too large, has many parameters, and has high calculation cost. Second, the differences between different time-frequency units are fully considered, and the weighting factor is introduced to optimize the traditional loss function to improve the network performance of students. In order to avoid the uncertainty of teacher network prediction affecting the performance of student network, the knowledge distillation network of multi-task adaptive learning is built to better utilize the correlation between different tasks to optimize the model. Findings The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively improve the performance of speech enhancement model while reducing the number of parameters and shortening the calculation time.

Abstract Using the principles of density functional theory (DFT) and nonequilibrium Green’s function (NEGF), We thoroughly researched carbon-doped zigzag boron nitride nanoribbons (ZBNNRs) to understand their electronic behavior and transport properties. Intriguingly, we discovered that careful doping can transform carbon-doped ZBNNRs into a spintronic nanodevice with distinct transport features. Our model showed a giant magnetoresistance (GMR) up to a whopping 10 $$^5$$ 5 under mild bias conditions. Plus, we spotted a spin rectifier having a significant rectification ratio (RR) of 10 $$^4$$ 4 . Our calculated transmission spectra have nicely explained why there’s a GMR up to 10 $$^5$$ 5 for spin-up current at biases of $$-1.2$$ - 1.2 V, $$-1.1$$ - 1.1 V, and $$-1.0$$ - 1.0 V, and also accounted for a GMR up to 10 $$^3$$ 3 –10 $$^5$$ 5 for spin-down current at biases of 1.0 V, 1.1 V, and 1.2 V. Similarly, the transmission spectra elucidate that at biases of 1.0 V, 1.1 V, and 1.2 V for spin-up, and at biases of 1.1 V and 1.2 V for spin-down in APMO, the RRs reach 10 $$^4$$ 4 . Our research shines a light on a promising route to push forward the high-performance spintronics technology of ZBNNRs using carbon atom doping. These insights hint that our models could be game-changers in the sphere of nanoscale spintronic devices.

Objective To investigate the clinical features of malignant melanoma of nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses (sinonasal malignant melanoma, SNMM) and its correlation with prognosis. Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted on 30 cases of SNMM treated at the Second Hospital of Lanzhou University from July 2010 to March 2024. Kaplan-Meier method and Cox regression model were used for survival analysis to identify factors affecting patient prognosis.Results Among the 30 patients,15 were males and 15 were females,aged between 38 and 81 years with an average age of 60.37 years.Survival time ranged from 1 to 89 months,with a 1-year survival rate of 81.00%, 3-year survival rate of 54.09%, and 5-year survival rate of 37.86%.The median survival time was 28.13 months. Kaplan-Meier method suggested that age, time from initial symptoms to diagnosis, primary tumor site, orbital involvement, Ki-67 expression levels, tumor staging and treatment were associated with survival rates.Tumor staging was identified as an independent factor affecting the survival rate in SNMM patients. Conclusion SNMM has high malignancy and poor prognosis, with regular postoperative followup being critical to improving survival rates. Current treatment mainly consists of a combination of surgery,postoperative radiotherapy,chemotherapy,immunotherapy and biotherapy.

Objective To analyze the clinical and pathological factors affecting pathological complete response (pCR) of triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) after neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). Methods A retrospective analysis was conducted in 78 TNBC patients treated with NAC and surgery in The First Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University from January 2018 to September 2023. The patients were divided into pCR group (n=28) and non-pCR group (n=50) based on whether they had achieved pCR or not. Logistic regression analysis was used to investigate the clinical and pathological factors affecting pCR. The pCR rate and incidence of adverse reactions after NAC between TP regimen (taxane+platinum) and TAC regimen (taxane+anthracycline+cyclophosphamide) were compared. Results The overall pCR rate was 35.9%. There were statistically significant differences between the two groups of patients in tumor diameter, chemotherapy cycle, chemotherapy regimen, paclitaxel type, human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER-2) expression, Ki-67 expression, and androgen receptor (AR) positive expression (P＞0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that tumor diameter ≤ 3 cm was an independent favorable factor of pCR(OR=4.191, 95%CI: 1.246-14.094, P=0.021), and AR positive expression was an independent unfavorable factor of pCR (OR=0.124, 95%CI: 0.020-0.784, P=0.027). In addition, the pCR rate of the TP regimen was significantly better than that of the TAC regimen ［54.8%(17/31) vs 28.1%(9/32), χ2=4.636, P=0.031］, and there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between two groups (P＞0.05). Conclusion TP or TAC regimen and albumin bound paclitaxel in NAC for TNBC is beneficial for achieving pCR status, but the pCR rate of TP regimen is better than that of TAC regimen, and the incidence of adverse reactions is comparable. The pCR rate is higher for tumor diameter≤3 cm, while low expression of HER-2, Ki-67, or AR indicates a lower pCR rate. AR positive expression is an independent unfavorable factor of pCR.

PurposeLow water resource utilization rate, water environment pollution, and water ecology deterioration are unfavorable factors restricting the high-quality development of the Yellow River basin and the coordinated development of the region, and industrial linkage is an important mechanism to promote the regional “pole-diffusion” effect. Currently, the water resource constraints of the Yellow River basin are close to the upper limit; in this context, how to enhance the industrial linkage between regions, promote the coordinated development of resources and economy in the Yellow River basin, and construct new “growth poles” of high-quality development has become an important proposition.MethodsBy analyzing the mechanism of water resource constraints affecting industrial linkage and constructing a mediation effect model, we investigate the transmission mechanism of water resource constraints affecting industrial linkage through virtual water trade and optimization of industrial structure.ResultsThe results show that water resource constraints significantly inhibit the development of industrial linkage in the whole basin, but enhance the development of industrial linkage through the promotion of virtual water trade and optimization of industrial structure; in terms of subregions, there are differences in the mediation effect in the Yellow River basin in the regions with advantages in agriculture and animal husbandry, in the regions with advantages in the energy industry, and in the regions with advantages in the emerging industry and advanced manufacturing industry.InspirationThis study has several aims: first, the rational use of the virtual water trade model of the Yellow River basin; second, use of the basin as a whole to promote the upgrading of industrial structure; third, the development of water resource rigid constraints in accordance with local conditions to promote the sustainable development of the economy; and fourth, promotion of the construction of the industrial community of the whole basin to realize the synergistic high-quality development of the Yellow River basin.Marginal contributionIn the study of high-quality development in the Yellow River basin, the existing literature focuses on the optimization of the industrial layout and industrial structure based on the theory of resource advantage and industrial division of labor. Based on this, this article analyzes the impact of water resource constraints on the industrial linkage of regions with advantages in agriculture and animal husbandry, energy industry, and emerging industry and advanced manufacturing industry from the perspective of the adaptability of water resources to the layout of productive forces and puts forward the proposal of coordinating the linkage development of industries in the whole river basin, which promotes the research on the relationship between water resources and industries.

The gear box of wind turbine is in the complex environment such as random wind load for a long time， and the gear contact fatigue becomes a key factor limiting the stability and reliability of wind turbine equipment. The research on the gear contact damage evolution mechanism was faced with difficulties such as complex stress states， damage anisotropy and failure modeling. Material configurational force theory can describe the effect of defect configurational change on the free energy of materials and can be used to predict the damage and failure behavior of materials. A wind turbine gear contact damage model was constructed based on this theory. The gear contact interface stress field simulation analysis was carried out for the key bearing area of gear contact， and the gear contact damage evolution process under contact load was simulated. The research results have shown that the configurational force theory damage model can effectively simulate the contact damage phenomenon of gear and explain the pitting and spalling of gear surfaces. It has theoretical significance to predict contact fatigue life of gear accurately.

[Objective] Soil moisture has an important impact on N2O emissions. This study attempted to simulate the cumulative process of soil N2O emission under different soil moisture conditions by using a mixed dynamic equation, and to analyze the influence of soil water on N2O production pathway and its variation rule in order to provide theoretical and practical guidance for reducing N2O gas emissions through improving soil management. [Methods] Soil N2O emission characteristics, the dynamics of ammonium and nitrate nitrogen content, and oxygen consumption were studied under different soil moisture conditions 〔40% water-holding capacity (WHC), 60% WHC, 80% WHC, 100% WHC, and flooded〕. [Results] ① The N2O emission rates reached maximum values at 24 h. Emissions from the flooded treatment 〔3.46 μg/(kg·h)〕 were 54.5—178.9 times greater than from the other treatments. ② The cumulative emission of soil N2O increased with increasing incubation time, and the rapid rise stage occurred in the first 48 h for the flooded treatment. The rapid rise stage occurred in the first 96 h for other treatments. The cumulative N2O emissions for soil under the flooded treatment (44.6 μg/kg) were 67.1, 29.2, 20.8, and 10.4 times greater than under 40% WHC, 60% WHC, 80% WHC and 100% WHC, respectively, at the end of incubation. ③ Except for the coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.878 for the pseudo-second-order dynamic equation under the flooded treatment, all coefficients of determination were greater than 0.920 for all dynamic equations under all soil moisture treatments. The denitrification process accounted for 9.3%~13.2% of the N2O emissions, and the nitrification process accounted for 86.8%~90.7% of the N2O emissions at the initial 24 h of incubation. At the end of incubation (480 h), the denitrification process accounted for 37.8%~47.5% of the N2O emissions, and the nitrification process accounted for 52.5%~62.2% of the N2O emissions. [Conclusion] The higher the soil moisture content, the greater the emission of N2O, and an emission rate pulse appeared at 24 h. N2O was mainly generated by denitrification under flooded conditions. N2O was mainly generated by nitrification under the 40%~100% WHC conditions. The mixed dynamic equation was able to well simulate the cumulative emission process of soil N2O during the incubation experiment, and can be used to distinguish the amount and proportion of N2O emissions occurring by denitrification and nitrification processes. These results provide a new idea and method for studying the pathways of soil N2O production and emission. The results need to be further verified by field experiments and isotope tracing methods etc.

Nowadays, the process of urbanization is accelerating, and the density of buildings is increasing rapidly. Natural ventlation is an energy-saving way of building ventilation and to solve the issue of building overheating. The buildings are all considered as cubes and their arrays are evenly distributed. The results from nearly 100 cases show density is the main factor in uniform arrays and not much difference between the staggered and normal arrangements if consider a year. The method can reflect the ventilation capacity of the buildings, which is somewhat inverse to the air age but different meaning. It can be used to guide the layout and planning in early design stage.

A two-dimensional continuous silicon carbide fiber reinforced silicon carbide composite material（2D SiCf/SiC composite material）was prepared by precursor impregnation cracking method（PIP method）using Al powder as the active filler. XRD, SEM and thermogravimetry were used to analyze the evolution behavior of the microstructure and composition of polycarbosilane pyrolysis products with various Al powder contents. The effects of various Al powder contents on the mechanical and electromagnetic shielding properties of the composites were studied by mechanical testing machine and vector network analyzer. The results show that as the mass fraction of Al filler increases from 0% to 40%, the bending strength of the composite material first increases and then decreases, and the maximum bending strength can reach 383 MPa. The introduction of aluminum filler leads to a gradual increase in the complex dielectric constant of the composite material, and the electromagnetic shielding efficiency gradually increases to 26 dB, which has been greatly improved. This is mainly due to the significant increase in the imaginary part of the complex dielectric constant caused by the increase in the content of Al filler, resulting in a significant improvement in the absorption and shielding efficiency of the composite material.

Baicalin has been shown to promote spatial learning and neural regeneration, which might increase the differentiation of neural stem cells in Alzheimer’s disease (AD) rat models. We aimed to study the role of baicalin on neuronal pentraxin-1 (NPTX-1), neuronal pentraxin-2 (NPTX-2), and C-reactive protein (CRP) in AD model rats.

The research on terahertz wave manipulation based on metasurfaces has gradually deepened, and the number of functions or electromagnetic control dimensions in a single device is constantly increasing. For the spatial dimension of terahertz field regulation, its design degrees of freedom have been expanded from a single transverse plane to the propagation path. In this paper, we propose a novel circularly polarization multiplexed metasurface for dual channel terahertz wave transmission control. Based on the spatial integration of two heterogeneous meta-atoms, which are spin-decoupled and isotropic, respectively, there are four phase channels that can be used at the same time, thus achieving different switching between vector and scalar beams in different circularly polarization channels along the optical path. For linearly polarized wave incidence, the device exhibits conversion between different vector beams longitudinally. To control more electric field components, we combine focused wavefront design with vector or scalar fields and utilize the focusing induced spin–orbit coupling effect, then complex amplitude switching of longitudinal electric field components is obtained. This article extends the manipulation of terahertz waves along the propagation trajectory based on metasurface from single to dual channel for the first time, providing a reference for the design of multifunctional meta-device in terahertz band.

Background Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is a serious health concern because of its high morbidity and mortality. The prognosis of HCC largely depends on the disease stage at diagnosis. Computed tomography (CT) image textural analysis is an image analysis technique that has emerged in recent years. Objective To probe the feasibility of a CT radiomic model for predicting early (stages 0, A) and intermediate (stage B) HCC using Barcelona Clinic Liver Cancer (BCLC) staging. Methods A total of 190 patients with stages 0, A, or B HCC according to CT-enhanced arterial and portal vein phase images were retrospectively assessed. The lesions were delineated manually to construct a region of interest (ROI) consisting of the entire tumor mass. Consequently, the textural profiles of the ROIs were extracted by specific software. Least absolute shrinkage and selection operator dimensionality reduction was used to screen the textural profiles and obtain the area under the receiver operating characteristic curve values. Results Within the test cohort, the area under the curve (AUC) values associated with arterial-phase images and BCLC stages 0, A, and B disease were 0.99, 0.98, and 0.99, respectively. The overall accuracy rate was 92.7%. The AUC values associated with portal vein phase images and BCLC stages 0, A, and B disease were 0.98, 0.95, and 0.99, respectively, with an overall accuracy of 90.9%. Conclusion The CT radiomic model can be used to predict the BCLC stage of early-stage and intermediate-stage HCC.

Functional devices for terahertz (THz) polarization detection in transmission mode are highly desired in integrated applications, but traditional polarization measurement systems are bulky and highly cost. The combination between all-silicon metasurfaces and focused beams carrying polarization information has offered a new opportunity for miniaturized polarization detection behavior. Here, we investigate and experimentally demonstrate a new scheme for realizing efficiently miniaturized polarization detection behavior based on the polarization multiplexing encoding technique. The full-Stokes parameter matrix of the incident polarization state can be reconstructed in a single snapshot by using a microprobe to record, pixel by pixel, the complex amplitude information contained in a pre-designed plane. Subsequently, the polarization detection capability of the proposed design principle is evaluated using random polarization states defined on the surface of a standard Poincaré sphere (PS). Such a scheme offers potential applications for the development of compact photonic meta-platforms for polarization detection in transmission mode, being highly favored in polarization high-resolution imaging, remote sensing, and THz communications.

[Objective] The international research situation, current research status, and trends in research hotspots in the field of gully erosion at home and abroad from 1991 to 2020 were analyzed, and the development trends of gully erosion measurement techniques and models were analyzed quantitatively in order to promote the in-depth development of gully erosion research and provide reference information for scholars in related fields. [Methods] We acquired 2 568 research papers dealing with gully erosion from the Web of Science from 1991 to 2020. We used a bibliometric analysis method and VOSviewer software to analyze the research situation of countries and institutions and the change trend of hotspots for gully erosion research. [Results] The number of papers published on gully erosion research presented an upward trend in the recent 30 years, and rose rapidly from 2011 to 2020. China (23.7% of papers) and the United States(20.8%) were the main countries conducting and publishing gully erosion research, with 44.5% of the word’s publications, and close cooperation between the two countries. Among the top ten institutions conducting global gully erosion research, three institutions (the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Northwest University of Agriculture and Forestry, and Beijing Normal University) were located in China. This field of research involved many disciplines, most of which were related to geology. Influencing factors, measurement techniques, and gully erosion research models were the main research focuses in the field of gully erosion. The impact factors of runoff, land use, vegetation, rainfall and soil had always been the focus of gully erosion research. The impact of climate change, especially extreme rainfall, received greater attention in recent years. High precision 3D stereo measurement technology gradually replaced 2D plane measurement technology, and was widely used. Empirical models were applied early and widely. Estimation models based on quantitative analysis began to be established after 2000, and this devlopment improved the accuracy of gully erosion monitoring and prediction. [Conclusion] Future gully erosion research should focus on the formation of gully erosion under extreme rainfall after vegetation restoration, interaction of different factors on the gully erosion process, development of new methods for gully erosion monitoring, and developing prediction models of gully erosion processes.

The ranking of nodes’ influence has always been a hot issue in the research area of complex networks.Susceptible-infected-recovered(SIR) model is an ideal nodes’ influence ranking method,which is commonly used to evaluate other nodes’ in-fluence ranking methods.But it is difficult to be applied in practice due to its high time complexity.This paper proposes a nodes’ influence ranking model based on sir value learning.Both the local structure and global structure information of nodes are used as features in the model.The sir value learning model is constructed by means of a deep learning model,which is trained on nodes’ features and sir data set in synthetic graphs with the same size.The trained model can predict sir value based on nodes’ features,and then rank nodes’ influence based on predicted sir.In this paper,a specific nodes’ influence ranking method is implemented based on the proposed model,and experiments are carried out on five real networks to verify the effectiveness of the method.The results show that the accuracy and monotonicity of nodes’ influence ranking results are improved compared with degree centrality,Kshell and Weighted Kshell degree neighborhood.

Contrapose the highly integrated, complex working conditions and many kinds of faults of aircraft electro hydrostatic actuator(EHA), to diagnose the typical fault of EHA effectively, a fault diagnosis algorithm based on convolutional neural networks (CNN) and support vector machine(SVM) was proposed. Firstly, the fault date sets are entered on CNN for adaptive feature extraction, then the output of the fully connected layer of CNN are classified by using SVM. To improve the performance of SVM, dynamic inertia weight adaptive particle swarm optimization (IWAPSO) was used to optimize the SVM parameters. Finally, the sensitivity of SVM to noise was reduced by introducing ramp loss function. The results show that the accuracy of SVM after parameter optimization is 12.6% higher than that of standard SVM and 17.3% higher than CNN. The SVM based on the ramp loss function showed better robustness when using noisy test sets.

ObjectiveTo learn the epidemiological features of foodborne diseases， and to provide scientific basis for disease control.MethodsThe monitoring data of foodborne diseases in Minhang from 2016 to 2020 were analyzed. Stool or swab specimens were collected to detect salmonella， Vibrio parahaemolyticus， Escherichia coli， Shigella， Campylobacter jejuni and norovirus.ResultsThe information of 15 951 foodborne disease cases and 11 176 samples were collected， with the positive rate of 12.03%.The cases with diarrhea accounted for 99.90% of the total. The cases with fever accounted for 14.70% of the total. The cases with water stool accounted for 89.70% of the total. May to October were the epidemic periods of foodborne diseases in Minhang（79.78%）. The detection rate was the highest in the 30‒39 age group and cadre staff occupation（13.53%，13.49%）. The detection rates of foodborne bacteria and virus were 5.39% （Vibrio parahaemolyticus）， 3.25% （salmonella），1.44% （norovirus）， 1.06%（Escherichia coli）， 0.56% （Campylobacter jejuni）， 0.34% （mixed infection） and 0% （Shigella）. During this 5-year period， the positive rate of Vibrio parahaemolyticus decreased significantly， while the positive rate of salmonella and Escherichia coli and Campylobacter jejuni increased significantly. The main suspected food were aquatic products （29.44%）， meat （25.80%） and fruits （10.78%）. The main processing methods of suspected food were family workshop （41.12%） and restaurants （37.55%）. The total detection rate of the cases was the highest in the canteen， reaching 20.51%.ConclusionFoodborne disease cases have a seasonal peak. The positive detection of pathogens tends to be similar year by year. The main suspected food is aquatic products. The main resources of suspected food are family workshop， restaurants， and canteen. Targeted health education， supervision and management should be taken to prevent the occurrence of foodborne diseases and the outbreak of food poisoning

ObjectiveTo provide the scientific basis for the prevention and control of diarrheagenic Escherichia coli （DEC） infection， the epidemiological characteristics of DEC infection in Shanghai was identified.MethodsThe epidemiological information of the collected diarrhea cases and the DEC test results from 30 foodborne disease surveillance sentinel hospitals in Shanghai from 2018 to 2020 were analyzed by the descriptive epidemiological methods.ResultsAccording to the result of 13 672 infectious diarrhea cases and specimens， the positive rate of DEC was 5.71% （781/13 672）， mainly ETEC and EAEC. The highest positive rate of DEC was often associated with child below the age of 7 and the farmers， and the highest positive rate of DEC was occurred between July and September. Compared with other patients， the positive rate of DEC in patients with fever and no vomiting or diarrhea 3-9 times/d was significantly higher. The positive rate of DEC was relatively high in cases with suspected food category of fruit and its products.ConclusionETEC and EAEC were the main virulence genotyping of DEC in Shanghai， and the peak of DEC infection occurred in summer. Specific clinical symptoms could play as indications for clinical diagnosis and treatment. The supervision and management of catering service industry and street food should be improved， and the publicity and training of public food safety awareness and good food safety habits should be strengthened.

ObjectiveTo analyze the epidemiological features of foodborne disease outbreaks in Shanghai and to find the risk factors.MethodsWe collected the data of foodborne disease outbreaks occurred in Shanghai between 2010 and 2020， analyzed the characteristics of outbreaks， including time and geographic distribution， pathogenic factors and possible reasons caused outbreaks.ResultsBetween 2010 and 2020， there were 108 foodborne disease outbreaks with 1 736 cases， 45 inpatient cases and 1 death. May to September was the epidemic period， with about 64.81% of the outbreak occurrence. 39.81% outbreaks occurred in Pudong， Songjiang and Chongming Districts. Most outbreaks occurred in small restaurants （25%） and most foodborne cases were in staff canteen outbreaks （27.53%）. The main possible reasons caused outbreaks were improper food storage （19.44%）， cross-contamination （14.81%） and improper cooking （12.04%）. The major pathogenic factor was biological， caused 75.92% outbreaks and 77.59% cases. Methanol poisoning caused 1 death. The main contaminated food caused outbreaks was meat （17.59%）， multiple food （12.04%） and aquatic products （11.11%）.ConclusionThe foodborne disease outbreaks in Shanghai caused inpatient cases and death. We should pay more attention to foodborne disease outbreaks and we can control the risk factors by strengthening supervision and carrying out health education to reduce foodborne disease outbreaks.

ObjectiveTo analyze the infection status and epidemic characteristics of Vibrio parahaemolyticus diarrhea cases in Shanghai in recent years， and to explore its influencing factors and provide a basis for the prevention and control of Vibrio parahaemolyticus infection.MethodsFood-borne disease surveillance data in Shanghai from 2017 to 2018 was collected， and the infection status and epidemic characteristics of Vibrio parahaemolyticus were analyzed. χ2 test and multivariate unconditional logistic regression were used to analyze the factors of Vibrio parahaemolyticus infection.ResultsAmong the food-borne surveillance cases in Shanghai from 2017 to 2018， the positive detection rate of Vibrio parahaemolyticus reached 5.1%， and the positive cases were concentrated in July， August， and September. Those working in the catering industry， migrant workers and workers， and the young and middle-aged people （19‒59 years old） have a high incidence. The results of multivariate analysis showed that dining in Qingpu， Songjiang or Minhang District， occupations of migrant workers and workers， age over 19 years old， the third quarter of a year， and the consumption of aquatic animals and related foods are risk factors for Vibrio parahaemolyticus infection.ConclusionThe infection of Vibrio parahaemolyticus in Shanghai is still one of the food-borne diseases that warrant our attention. Strengthening food safety management and supervision， and promoting publicity and education for key populations are important for reducing the risk of infection by this pathogen. At the same time， long-term monitoring of infectious diarrhea cases in this city is necessary to dynamically understand the infection and epidemic characteristics of Vibrio parahaemolyticus， and adjust the annual prevention and control measures in time.

To clarify the plastic law and hardening characteristics of deformation and failure of staggered zone under high in-situ stress unloading conditions with excavation in underground engineering, a series of triaxial tests under different confining pressures and different loading and unloading stress paths was conducted. The plastic deformation laws of the staggered zone under different loading and unloading stress paths were deeply investigated. Based on the results of the experiments, the dependency of stress path of internal variables such as the equivalent plastic work, the equivalent plastic strain and the plastic volumetric strain as hardening parameters were further explored in the stress space. Meanwhile, a modified formula for hardening parameters with the independency of stress path was proposed. The results showed that, 1) The effect of stress path was significant on the deformation properties of staggered zone under high in-situ stress. The high initial confining pressure would inhibit the development of the circumferential plastic deformation of samples with the staggered zone under the same unloading stress path. And the plastic volumetric residual strain (6%) of samples with the staggered zone under the stress path of unloading axial pressure and confining pressure was significantly greater than that of other unloading stress paths (2%−4%) under the same initial confining pressure. The promoting effects of different stress paths on the plastic volumetric deformation of the staggered zone were as follows. The promoting effect of the stress path of unloading axial pressure and unloading confining pressure was the strongest, that of the stress path of constant axial pressure and unloading confining pressure was the second stronger, and that of the stress path of loading axial pressure and unloading confining pressure was the weakest. 2) There were a certain of the dependency of stress path of its internal variables such as plastic volumetric strain, equivalent plastic strain and equivalent plastic work during the deformation and failure process of the staggered zone in different unloading stress paths. Therefore, it is not accurate to directly take any of the above state parameters as the hardening parameters and assume that it is independent of the stress paths in the elastic-plastic analysis of staggered zone. Therefore, a modified method of the equivalent plastic work was proposed. It was found that when the parameter ns reflecting the material properties of staggered zone was equal to -0.4, the modified equivalent plastic work had the obvious independency of stress path, which was more appropriate for describing the unloading plastic strain hardening characteristics of the staggered zone under high in-situ stress unloading conditions. The plastic mechanical characteristics of the staggered zone revealed in this paper can further deepen the understanding of deformation and failure of the staggered zone under high in-situ stress unloading conditions, and provide a theoretical basis for the analysis of the failure mechanism and support control of the staggered zone in practical engineering.

ObjectiveOrphan oncology drugs used in this article were defined by the type of disease treated by drugs, as drugs used to treat rare diseases with a prevalence of ≤ 500 per million people per year. In this article, our concern was to explore focus on the economic evaluation of the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE), when orphan oncology drugs were appraised for reimbursement, and provide advice and suggestions to decision-makers.MethodsA retrospective study was used in this study. Thirty guidance were gathered as our subject by NICE from 2016 to 2020, excluded drugs were not identified as orphan by European Medicines Agency (EMA) and orphan drugs were not used for cancer, and orphan oncology drugs were terminated at the time of data collection at NICE. Qualitative analysis, descriptive statistics, and Fisher's exact test were conducted.ResultsOf all guidance, the partitioned survival model was used most to appraise orphan oncology drugs, and every drug had a kind of commercial arrangement such as patient access scheme (PAS), managed access arrangements (MAAs), and commercial access agreement (CAAs). End of life is an important indicator that had been defined by NICE in the methods of technology appraisal in 2013, and drugs that met the criterion would be given a higher threshold of ICER. In addition, we found that potential health benefits were increasingly concerned such as drug delivery.ConclusionIn the setting of uncertain clinical and cost efficacy, orphan oncology drugs are comprehensively evaluated in multiple additional dimensions, which include life-extending benefits, and innovation. NICE uses a combination of special considerations for incomplete data, appropriate economic models, and appropriate health technology assessment (HTA) methods during the assessment process, besides, orphan oncology drugs with insufficiency evidence were recommended Cancer Drugs fund (CDF) to afford for patients, which would obtain more availability and accessibility, based on which, high-quality drugs for treating rare cancers can fall within the scope of affordable healthcare provided by the English medical insurance fund.

Objective To establish a lung cancer risk prediction model using data mining technology and compare the performance of decision tree C5.0 and artificial neural networks in the application of risk prediction model, and to explore the value of data mining techniques in lung cancer risk prediction. Methods We collected the data of 180 patients with lung cancer and 240 patients with benign lung lesion which contained 17 variables of risk factors and clinical symptoms. Decision tree C5.0 and artificial neural networks models were established to compare the prediction performance. Results There were 420 valid samples collected in total and proportioned with the ratio of 7:3 for the training set and testing set. The accuracy, sensitivity, specificity, Youden index, positive predictive value, negative predictive value and AUC of artificial neural networks model were 65.3%, 61.7%, 73.3%, 0.350, 54.9%, 73.1% and 0.675 (95%CI: 0.628-0.720) in testing set; those of decision tree C5.0 model were 61.0%, 47.8%, 80.4%, 0.282, 35.3%, 80.6% and 0.641 (95%CI: 0.593-0.687) in testing set. Conclusion The artificial neural networks model is superior to the decision tree C5.0 model at overall performance and it has potential application value in the risk prediction of lung cancer.

As a population migration phenomenon in the context of global mobility and an aging society, seasonal migratory tourism has become a new way of providing for the aged, with unique seasonal temporal and spatial characteristics. This study takes China's only tropical coastal tourist city, Sanya, as an example. Based on a field survey of 256 seasonal migratory retirees, it uses factor and variance analyses to explore the structure, intensity, and group differences in the driving forces of seasonal migratory retirees. The results show that: (1) the economic income and cultural levels of seasonal migratory retirees in Sanya are relatively high, although they are also polarized. (2) Seasonal migratory retirees in Sanya are composed of seven driving forces: landscape environment, social capital, social symbol, urban service, lifestyle, family atmosphere, and health preservation; health preservation is the predominant driving force. Among them, factors such as health preservation, social capital, and lifestyle are strong, while urban service factors are the weakest. (3) Unlike the active pursuit of "a better life" in foreign countries, seasonal migratory retirees of Sanya are driven by the health problems engendered by aging. Meanwhile, there are obvious differences in family attributes and economic motivation at home and abroad, and the social network in Sanya became a significant follow-up motive for their migration. (4) The article initially reveals the continuum of "tourism leisure-daily life", which reflects the complexity of migration's driving forces. (5) There are obvious differences in the driving forces of Sanya's seasonal migratory retirees of different genders, education levels, ages, and residence duration, especially regarding social capital. The research enriches the empirical and theoretical exploration of the tourism immigration research system. Further, it clarifies the migration motives and rules of the elderly, helps local government formulate relevant policies, and improves the quality of life and happiness of seasonal migratory retirees.

Objective To observe the change of insulin resistance in the impaired fasting glucose patients with hypertension along with time elapse, and to investigate the relationship between hypertension and insulin resistance. Methods A total of 180 patients with impaired fasting glucose admitted in our outpatient department of endocrinology and physical examination center of our hospital during October 2012 and August 2013 were recruited in this study. All of them were given long-term lifestyle intervention, and were followed up for 5 years. Till the end of the follow-up, there were 114 patients included, and they were divided into the hypertension group (n=56) and the normal blood pressure group (n=58). Routine antihypertensive drugs were given to the hypertension group. Clinical data, such as fasting blood glucose, 2 h postprandial blood glucose, fasting insulin, 2 h postprandial insulin, and insulin resistance index (HOMA-IR) and insulin sensitivity index (ISI) from the third to the fifth year of follow-up were collected and analyzed. Results In the 5 years' follow-up, the prevalence of diabetes in the hypertension group was 22.83%, significantly higher than that of the normal blood pressure group (11.36%, P=0.042). The hypertension group had obviously higher HOMA-IR but statistically lower ISI when compared with the normal blood pressure group (both P < 0.001). Conclusion In the patients with impaired fasting glucose, elevated blood pressure is closely associated with insulin resistance. As time goes by, those impaired fasting glucose accompanied with hypertension are more prone to severe insulin resistance, and are more likely to progress to diabetes.

A compact S-tapered fibre biosensor functionalised with class I hydrophobin HGFI found in Grifola frondosa has been proposed for the first time to accrue label-free detection of reaction between goat–anti-rabbit immunoglobulin G (IgG) (GAR, antibody) and rabbit–anti-hemagglutinin IgG (R, antigen). The HGFI nanolayer self-assembled on fibre surface provides a distinguished analytical platform to implement biocompatible binding owing to its prominent amphiphilicity and remarkable optical as well as biochemical properties. Water contact angle measurements, atomic force microscopy, and immunofluorescence assay are utilised to characterize the modification properties of siliconised substrate surface with HGFI. Functionalisation of the S-tapered fibre is achieved by exploiting self-assembly of HGFI and immobilisation of GAR for specific R detection. HGFI with a concentration of 300 μg/ml allows the formation of a self-assembled amphipathic film on fibre surface, which can adsorb antibody smoothly with such desirable merits as ease of operation, fast response, good stability, good repeatability, and no side effects. Immunoassay experiments are conducted based on dip wavelengths interrogation of the interferometric transmission spectrum. In this study, we propose a novel antigen detection scheme, which could be extended for the detection of other biomolecules owing to its high integration, good specificity, real-time detection, and simple detection scheme.

Zn-Al-Mg alloy coating, the most promising protective steel coating of the 21st century, is widely employed in construction, automotive, and other fields, due to its high surface and edge corrosion. In recent years, with the increasing demand for Zn-Al-Mg coating, a series of basic studies on Zn-Al-Mg coating materials has been carried out by foreign scholars, making significant progress and achievements. Simultaneously, the gap in the galvanizing industry between domestic and international has been expanding year by year. In order to gradually reduce gradually this gap with foreign countries, it is necessary to summarize and review the research achievements of foreign researchers. In this paper, the research progress into high corrosion resistant Zn-Al-Mg hot dip coatings was reviewed from the perspective of interfacial reactions in pots, coating structures, corrosion mechanisms of surface and cut edges, as well as corrosion product types of Zn-Al-Mg coatings. According to the range of Al content, laboratory and commercial Zn-Al-Mg coatings are divided into three types: "low-aluminum, " "medium-aluminum, " and "high-aluminum" coatings. There are differences in these coatings, including growth kinetics in the intermetallic compound layers of the different types of coating. In order to control the thickness of the coating, reasonable immersion time and temperature should be controlled. There are also differences in the solidification structures of the three types. Primary Al or Zn crystal, Zn/MgZn2 binary eutectics, and Zn/MgZn2/Al ternary eutectics would form in "low-aluminum" and "medium-aluminum, " while Al-rich dendrites, an intergranular Zn-rich phase, a Mg2Si phase, and a MgZn2 phase would occur with "high-aluminum" coatings. During surface corrosion in "low-aluminum" or "medium-aluminum, " the MgZn2 phase is ionized first, giving rise to a dense corrosion product to inhibit corrosion, such as basic zinc salt (BZS) or layered double hydroxide (LDH). Meanwhile, in the cut edge, a self-healing phenomenon occurs; the proposed explanation in this paper for this is Mg-containing corrosion product flowing or pH changing. However, there are some disputed aspects that need further study. In the hot dipping process, the intermetallic compound thickness should be controlled by the interfacial reaction at the steel/liquid melts through changing the molten bath temperature and holding time. The influence of Mg2Zn11 phase and MgZn2 on the corrosion resistance of Zn-Al-Mg coating is also controversial, so that the microstructure of Zn-Al-Mg coating needs further investigation for corrosion. Furthermore, a kinetic model of the corrosion process should be established to discover the controlling factors in the corrosion reaction, so that the life of the coating can be extended.

BackgroundIn order to fast and conveniently measure X, γ and neutron radiation field simultaneously, portable multi-function radiation detector is highly demanded.PurposeThis study aims to design a portable multi-function radiation detection system based on LaBr3(Ce) crystal, lithium aluminum silicate oxygen (LASO) neutron detector and high range Geiger-Muller (GM) counter.MethodsAfter the optical signal output from the LaBr3 crystal was photoelectrically converted into electronic signal by the photomultiplier tube (PMT), the integrated digital multi-channel was used for data acquisition of electronic signal, and the subsequent data processing and calculation. The front signal processing circuits, such as amplification, discrimination and shaping, were designed for both the LASO neutron detector and the GM tube counter. Finally, the digital signal processed of the LaBr3 detector was transmitted to the ARM (Advanced RISC Machine) processor in the form of TTL (Transistor-Transistor Logic) serial port, and the pulse signal formed of the neutron detector and GM counter tube was connected to the external counting port of ARM processor. Energy spectrum was processed for nuclide identification and displayed by ARM processor whilst the low dose rate measurement base on the Gamma data collected by the LaBr3 detector, the neutron detector and the high range GM tube counter were counted at fixed time and converted from the count rate into the dose rate.Results & ConclusionsThe designed portable multi-function radiation detector realize simultaneous measurement of wide range (48 keV~3.0 MeV) γ, low-energy (48 keV~1.25 MeV) X-ray, (0.1~100 mSv∙h-1) neutron dose rates, and nuclide identification capability of LaBr3 spectrometer, and upload the data to PC through USB interface.

Due to the problems such as high reuse cost, uneven space-time distribution and low recycling utilization rate after mine water treatment, we explored the coupling change law of mine water quantity and quality in Dahaize Mining Area, through the analysis of mine water quantity balance and reuse water quality data. Big data computing and embedded system design are adopted to form the efficient underground-surface utilization approach and intelligent allocation technology of mine water in the mining area. The results show that the in-situ utilization rate of original mine water in Dahaize Mining Area is low, which is only 22.1% of the total mine drainage and the water is high turbidity and high hardness, which is characterized by uncoordinated distribution of water quantity and quality in time and space. Therefore, the balance map of mine water is reconstructed and the comprehensive utilization technology of mine water classification and quality classification are formed, which can increase the mine water reuse rate to 100%. At the same time, an intelligent allocation system with real-time monitoring, wireless transmission and big data storage is constructed, which provides a theoretical basis for efficient utilization and multi-objective collaborative intelligent control of mine water in coal mine area.

A developed and verified thermodynamic model based on the atom and molecule coexistence theory (AMCT) is employed to predict activities relative to pure liquids in standard state in Mg-Al, Mg-Zn, Al-Zn and Mg-Al-Zn melts through the calculated mass action concentrations of structural units, i.e., Ni. According to AMCT, Ni can be extrapolated and calculated by the chemical equilibrium constant of a structural molecule, i.e., Ki, in the Mg-Al-Zn ternary system and binary subsystems. In this paper, the standard Gibbs free energy function, for reported activities and mixing thermodynamic properties in Mg-Al, Mg-Zn and Al-Zn melts, was regressed and optimized. The results showed that Ki and Ni were deduced by Gibbs free energy function at the studied temperature. The results of calculating thermodynamic properties in the full composition range for liquid Mg-Al-Zn from 880 to 1100 K, as well as Mg-Al from 923 to 1073 K, Mg-Zn from 880 to 973 K and Al-Zn from 1000 to 1073 K, are presented in the paper by coupling with Ni and AMCT. An excellent agreement is noticed between the calculated values of this study and measured thermodynamic data from the references, suggesting that the AMCT can be well applied to describe and predict the activities of the Mg-Al-Zn system and its subsystems.

Objective To investigate the effects and mechanisms of miR-198 on the proliferation, apoptosis and invasion of cervical cancer cells. Methods HeLa cells were transfected with miR-198 mimic and the mRNA levels between miR-198 and mitogen-activated protein kinase 1(MAPK1) were measured by qRT-PCR. The relationship of miR-198 and MAPK1 was determined by luciferase reporter assay. pcDNA3.0-MAPK1 (pc-MAPK1) and miR-198 mimic transfection was performed, and cell proliferation, apoptosis and invasion abilities were measured by CCK-8 assay, flow cytometry and Transwell assay, respectively. Western blot was performed for protein levels. Results The level of miR-198 was increased and the mRNA level of MAPK1 was decreased by miR-198 mimic. The result of luciferase reporter assay indicated that there was binding site of MAPK1 on miR-198. Overexpression of miR-198 significantly inhibited the proliferation and invasion, and induced the apoptosis of HeLa cells. In addition, miR-198 mimic down-regulated the expressions of ribosomal S6 kinase 2 (RSK2), c-Myc and c-fos. pc-MAPK1 attenuated the effects of miR-198 mimic on cell proliferation, apoptosis, invasion and downstream proteins expression of MAPK1 in HeLa cells. Conclusion Overexpression of miR-198 inhibits the proliferation, invasion and induces the apoptosis of cervical cancer cells through targeting MAPK1.

Inconel 718, a precipitation strengthening nickel-based superalloy, is widely used in aerospace and other high-temperature process industries because of its adequate strength, ductility, and good workability.The increasing demand for alloys with remarkable comprehensive performance necessitates the development of alloys with highly uniform microstructures and highly homogeneous composition;therefore, electroslag remelting (ESR) has attracted much attention in metallurgical circles.However, strong chemical reactions, such as (Al2O3) +[Ti]= (Ti O2) +[Al], usually occur at the electrode-slag interface (ESI) or the droplet-slag interface (DSI) and the metal pool-slag interface (MSI) ;therefore, the concentrations of Al and Ti cannot be maintained within specifications, or the elements cannot be uniformly distributed along the height of the ingots during the ESR process.Consequently, mechanical property deteriorates and the production cost of nickel-based alloy increases.To overcome these issues, in this study, a thermodynamic model for calculating equilibrium content of Al and Ti in a nickel-based alloy during ESR was developed based on the ion and molecule coexistence theory (IMCT) .The chemical composition of slags plays a key role in the physicochemical properties of slags and controls the loss of alloying element during ESR process.Therefore, the respective relations between the activity and activity ratio of individual slag components with chemical composition of Ca O-Si O2-MgO-Fe O-Al2O3-Ti O2-Ca F2slag were studied.Furthermore, effect of the slag composition on the equilibrium content of Al and Ti in Inconel 718 superalloy under various metallurgical temperatures during ESR was investigated.The results indicate that the equilibrium content of Al increases with increasing temperature, however, the equilibrium content of Ti decreases.MgO and Ca F2have little influence on the control of the loss of active alloy elements.

To investigate the efficacy of Danhong injection on the serum concentration of tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α), interleukin 6 (IL-6) and nuclear factor kappa-light-chain-enhancer of activated B (NF-κB) in rats with intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH) and evaluate its therapeutic effects on inflammation and cerebral edema.

The glass fiber reinforced polypropylene (GF/PP) composite plate with different glass fiber contents was fabricated by the laminated hot-pressing experiment method using the glass fiber felt and polypropylene film, then tensile experiments were carried on under different loading rates. The strain rate sensitive properties of the composites were investigated, and the feasibility of the Burgers model fitting to predict the constitutive relation of the material was analyzed. The results show that the GF/PP composite in the low strain rates is sensitive to strain rate, with the increase of strain rate, the fracture stress and tensile strength increase, and with the increase of the glass fiber content, the strain rate effect decreases. Meanwhile, the Burgers model can effectively fit to predict the tensile stress-strain curves of the composites, then compared with the experimental curves, which further validates the strain rate sensitive properties of the GF/PP composites and its trend.

The side return air is considered to be a ventilation form that can effectively remove indoor particulate matter, and relevant scholars have little research on the height of air return outlet for different air supply methods. In this paper, a single-person ward experimental cabin is established, and the focus is to study the effect of different side return air outlet heights on the particle removal effect under three air supply forms. And use CFD simulation to increase the type of return air outlet height, finally use the technique for order of preference by similarity to ideal solution (TOPSIS) method to comprehensively evaluate the pros and cons of 60 working conditions. The results show that the optimal return air height of top air supply and underfloor air supply is 1.2m, and the best working condition of side air supply is 1.6m air supply-0.7m air return of 12ACH. Most of the working conditions of side air supply are better, followed by top air supply, and finally underfloor air supply.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate whether the spread pattern affects functional staging in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). We examined the spreading patterns of disease following symptom onset and the affected regions in ALS using electromyography.Methods: This study reviewed the medical records of 103 patients with sporadic ALS in the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from 2012 to 2017. According to the clinical manifestation and the distribution of the affected regions on electromyography, spread patterns were classified as discontiguous or contiguous. The patients were graded according to the ALS-Milano-Torino staging (MITOS) system.Results: The clinical spread patterns were contiguous in 91.5% of patients and discontiguous in 8.5% of patients. The electrophysiological spread patterns were contiguous in 87.4% of patients and discontiguous in 12.6% of patients. Sex, age, or delay in diagnosis did not affect the clinical or electrophysiological spread patterns. No significant correlation was observed between the clinical classification and the ALS-MITOS grade, but the electrophysiological spread was significantly correlated with the ALS-MITOS.Conclusion: This study provides evidence that not all ALS patients show contiguous clinical or electrophysiological spread patterns. The electrophysiological spread pattern can affect the functional staging in ALS patients.

The equivalent flexural rigidity of a complex polygonal honeycomb structure is investigated in this study. The honeycomb is equivalent to a orthogonal anisotropic plate for calculating the deformation energy under uniform bending moment,and the deformation energy of each wall is summed,then the analytical expressions for the equivalent flexural stiffness of honeycomb structure were derived based on the energy equivalence principle. The angle and length of walls has a great influence on equivalent flexural stiffness,the changes of angle and length will lead to positive and negative changes of the coupling stiffness,the absolute value of flexural stiffness increases with the increase of the wall’s height and thickness. The validity of the present analysis is demonstrated by the inversion results obtained by the finite element method.

A thermodynamic model is proposed for calculating the mass action concentration of structural units in the Al-Ti binary melt system based on the atom-molecule coexistence theory. The standard equilibrium constants of reactions for forming three associated molecules as Al3Ti,Al Ti,and Al11Ti5 in the Al-Ti binary melt system at the temperature of 2073 to 2273 K are calculated based on the activity reported in the literature,and the expressions of the standard molar Gibbs free energy change of reactions are obtained.Meanwhile,the calculated mass action concentrations NAl and NTi of Al and Ti are compared with the reported activities of both Al and Ti in the full composition range of the Al-Ti binary melt system at different temperatures from the literature. The results show that the calculated mass action concentrations NAl and NTi are in agreement with the activities aAl and aTi in the reported literature. The relationship between the calculated mass action concentration Ni and the calculated equilibrium amount of substance ni of Al3Ti and Al11Ti5 in the Al-Ti binary melt system is rod-type. However,the relationship between the calculated mass action concertation NAlTi and the calculated equilibrium amount of substance nAlTi in this binary melt system is spindle-type.

Objectives: As the member of the Fox family of transcription factors, Forkhead box M1 (FoxM1) is known to be critical in pathogenesis and development of many solid tumors. However, the clinical value and expression pattern in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is still poorly understood. Methods: In this study, real-time PCR was mainly applied to examine the gene expression levels of FoxM1 in 120 pairs of clinical NSCLC tissues, which were classified into different groups according to smoking status, lymph node metastasis, and tumor grade. By utilizing the online Kaplan-Meier plotter, overall survival analysis was performed to study the correlation between FoxM1 expression and prognosis of lung cancer (LC) patients. Afterwards, the correlation of FoxM1 gene expression and the clinical pathological parameters was examined by κ2 test in these 120 NSCLC patients. Results: FoxM1 was found to be aberrantly upregulated in NSCLC patients, and its overexpression was correlated to groups designated as smokers, cases of positive lymph node metastasis and cases of advanced tumor grades. Online survival analysis showed that high expression of FoxM1 predicted shorter overall survival of NSCLC patients. Additionally, FoxM1 upregulation was statistically correlated with positive smoking history, lymph node metastasis and higher tumor grades. Conclusion: FoxM1 is overexpressed in cancerous tissues and is associated with the poor prognosis of NSCLC patients. Our results provide insights into the utility of FoxM1 as an important biomarker and prognostic factor for NSCLC.

Aiming at a complex polygonal honeycomb structure,using the virtual work principle,the analytic formulae for a honeycomb core deformation under the small deformation condition were derived by Euler ’s beam model. Then the analytic expressions for equivalent elastic modulus and Poisson’s ratio in two orthogonal directions were obtained and its correctness was validated by numerical simulations. Finally,the effects of wall angles and wall length on the honeycomb stiffness were explored by the analytic expressions. The results show that: the angle θ andφ of walls has a great influence on equivalent elastic modulus and Poisson’s ratio,and the changes of angleθ will lead to positive and negative changes of Poisson’s ratio; the equivalent elastic modulus decreases with the increasing of the length of wall.

From 2009 until 2012 the project “Watershed Management of Forest Land in Beijing, Restoration of Small Water Bodies (SWBR)” was implemented, combining Close to Nature Forest Management and Restoration of Small Water Bodies. The targets were to improve flood control, to enhance the ecological conditions by copying nature and to support the recreational value of small water bodies, all in cooperation with people living there. The efficiency of each project was proofed by comparison of biological and hydro-morphological assessment before the projects started and 2–3 years after they were finished. The results confirmed the ecological improvements of the restored river sections and showed the achievements. Guidelines to assess the biological and hydro-morphological status of rivers were developed and there are plans to introduce them as Beijing Standards. Planning and implementation of measures, based on experiences in Central Europe, will be documented in a handbook. This article presents experimental studies on the effects of H2 on the reduction degree and rate of limonite at different temperatures and kinetic analysis during the hydrogen reduction. The water loss of limonite was investigated by thermal gravimetric analysis. Limonite of 8 to 12 mm in granularity was reduced with 4 L·min-1 H2 at five temperatures of 750 to 950℃. As the reduction reaction proceeded, the reduction degree increased, and the sequence of 5 reduction degree curves was consistent with that of reaction temperature when t>28 min. The apparent activation energy was kinetically calculated to be 15.323 kJ·mol-1, so diffusion is the restrictive step of the reduction reaction.
