Tourism is important because it can revive economically a community around tourist attractions. North Sumatra Province, which includes Medan, shows great potential for the development of marine tourism. However, it is not run optimally. Moreover, poor quality infrastructure and human resources are also a threat to marine tourism in Indonesia. This study's methodology involved a qualitative method and used focus group discussions (FGDs) to obtain data from 25 informant travel agent in North Sumatra Province. This study's results found that marketing strategies need consistent support from government and travel agents. The rapid development of communication and information technology has become one of the most important elements in the development of marketing strategies.

The aim of this study is to investigate the audience reception of acculturation in parenting style on the Indonesian-Korean YouTube channel "Kimbab Family". Parenting is an activity aimed at helping children to meet challenges from the environment as well as developing. This study focuses on the interpretations of young adult audiences on the YouTube channel. Thirty-six informants were selected as primary data using FGD techniques. From the results obtained by the researchers through FGDs with the informants, it was shown that the audiences reception on the YouTube channel is diverse and influential. By combining Indonesian and Korean parenting styles, the Kimbab Family has become a source of inspiration and a role model for effective parenting. This research highlights the need for further exploration of the role of media platforms in shaping audience perceptions and expectations, as well as the potential benefits and challenges of incorporating diverse cultural influences in parenting practices. Students have to have the sector-wide vision. They can get the vision from among other reading news published in various media. This research aims toidentify media uses, news needs and news satisfaction on online media. The variables in this research were media uses, needs of news and news satisfaction. The method used in this research was the quantitative research method. The results indicated that the respondents had access to news with hand phone or laptop at least once per two days and the search duration for news reached an hour or two hours.
