The article is devoted to the issue of improving the autonomous vehicles safety. The anti-lock braking system was chosen as the object of the study, since it is one of the components of the vehicle active safety during emergency braking. Its functioning varies depending on parameters such as vehicle type, transmission type, external and internal steering wheel angles. It is necessary to parameterize correctly the electronic control unit of the anti-lock braking system depending on the specific values of these parameters. For this, a software module was developed that reads the values of the vehicle parameters from a file and sends their array to the electronic control unit. Then we can check the result: how the block responded to the sent request -positively or negatively. All this will speed up the parameterization process, increase its accuracy, preventing the occurrence of operator errors during its implementation.

The paper deals with the relevant problem: ensuring safety and sustainability of urban transport systems. Authors have considered existing positive world-wide experience of both infrastructure and managerial solutions. Using the city of Naberezhnye Chelny as an example, a method is proposed for improving the safety of transport systems by improving cycle structures. Proposed system is aimed at evaluating cycling infrastructure development projects, including the development or adaptation of a management system. In the system presented in the article, it is accepted that cyclist safety can be assessed using a risk coefficient. The danger degree is affected by the presence of intersections, the density and speed of the traffic flow, the bike path type, as well as its width.

In the 4th industrial revolution era, the transport's role acquires a special role in organizing the functioning of large systems (production, logistics, service, etc.). Technical and technological changes (for example, the appearance of autonomous vehicles leads to a shift in emphasis and roles: the influence of the human factor is reduced and issues of increasing reliability and safety are of particular importance. Monitoring vehicle technical condition and its diagnostics are important during the operation phase, because this eliminates the possible failures causes and predicted the vehicle life cycle, as well as the define pre-failure conditions. Besides, the service organization problems are also relevant because the transport system security depends more and more on the vehicles technical condition, communications, and infrastructure facilities. The article proposes a possible solution to manage the service system by creating common information space that based on relevant information and the new analysis methods uses, can increase the transport system's efficiency and reliability as a whole. The structure of the decision support system is proposed. It includes modules for data collection, storage, data mining, decision-making and a user interface. To process the accumulated data, the use of OLAP technologies is proposed.

Smart Mobility is one of the main directions of Smart City’s transport system development. At the same time, along with the management intellectualization, the issue of the transition to cleaner, safer and more sustainable transport modes, such as a bicycle, is being resolved. Democracity and accessibility, cheapness and environmental friendliness, promoting a healthy lifestyle are the reasons for the growth of this transport type popularity throughout the world. The paper proposes one of the possible ways of developing bicycle transport in smart city, which allows to expand the its users number by reducing the requirements for the person physical fitness level. The proposed development represents the Smart Bike concept, which with the help of sensors monitors the condition of the environment and cyclist health, analyses indicators and, in critical situations, turns on the electric motor. This allows you to reduce the load on the cyclist, as well as battery consumption, which has a positive effect on the Smart City’s ecology condition.

The article discusses the method of rehabilitation of cardiac patients. Based on this method, an algorithm is created to help a cyclist. This algorithm is planned to be used in a smart bike. According to the algorithm, if the cyclist exceeds the Optimal Training Pulse or the movement speed is less than average, then the system suggests turning on the electric motor. The effectiveness of the algorithm was tested using several tests with a bicycle and an electric motor mounted on it. Test results are given in the article.

World trends in the area of engineering and technology are associated with intellectualization of both the processes and the technical systems. In many cases, exclusion of a human from the control loop provides certain advantages, but at the same time causes a number of problems. Large systems encounter a security issue. This also applies to transport systems for which the development of “unmanned vehicles” has become a logical result of implementation of the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) as a system strategy. Transition from creation of driver assistance systems to development of semi-autonomous and unmanned vehicles can be explained by desire of developers to ensure stability and safety of the transport system. However, according to analytical forecasts, while gradual intellectualization of vehicles will result in decreased role of human factor in statistics of road traffic accidents, it will also lead to the growth of their number due to technical malfunction. Therefore, the importance of measures to prevent sudden vehicle failures increases. The article shows the importance of intelligent on-board systems for improving vehicle diagnostic systems. A conceptual scheme of decision support system for managing vehicle service and its interactions with interactive diagnostic system are presented. A scheme of interaction of components of the on-board diagnostic system is provided, the interrelation of the structural and diagnostic parameters determining the state of the components and systems of the vehicle is shown. Such solutions enable improving the service system and optimizing its operation. It is shown that only system solutions in this field will increase reliability and faultless operation of autonomous vehicles, and will ensure their smooth and failure-free operation.

In the modern world, the efficiency of complex productions is possible only under the conditions of logistic, production and service systems interaction. Herewith, online data exchange between these systems is necessary in order to plan and organize all internal processes taking into account their interaction, integration and complexity. Online data on the vehicles’ state should be the basis for predicting the need for spare parts, planning their production at the manufacturer, delivery to service centers, as well as scheduling the loading of service stations. In addition, the accuracy of diagnostics and the timeliness of identifying potential failures play an important role. The existing failure prediction systems and methods are considered in the article. A systematic approach is needed to organize effective information interaction between the logistic, production and service systems. Creating an integrated information space with a common database will allow timely responding to non-standard situations and more accurately planning maintenance. The authors have proposed an improved algorithm for the Dealer and Service Center (DSC) operation which will minimize vehicles’ downtime while waiting for repairs and will help to predict the need for spare parts and production facilities of the DSC.

The growth of urbanization, which mobility demand increases, leads to an growth in the transport complex's negative impact on the environment. This causes the urgency focused of “green” types of transport, such as a bicycle. The growing popularity of this transport type throughout the world is due to its low cost and environmental friendliness. To expand the potential cyclists, range, we offer the smart bike concept that will help an untrained cyclist in situations where health, as well as environmental parameters, create difficulties for the trip. The concept of bicycle management, as well as the algorithm for identifying the current state of the system, based on the neural networks, are described.
