Abstract In this paper, we consider the class of monotone ρ-nonexpansive semigroups and give existence and convergence results for common fixed points. First, we prove that the set of common fixed points is nonempty in uniformly convex modular spaces and modular spaces. Then we introduce an iteration algorithm to approximate a common fixed point for the same class of semigroups.

In this paper, we present the notion of θ−ϕ−expansive mapping in complete rectangular metric spaces and study various fixed point theorems for such mappings. The presented theorems extend, generalize, and improve many existing results in the literature.

In this research paper, we have set some related fixed point results for generalized weakly contractive mappings defined in partially ordered complete b-metric spaces. Our results are an extension of previous authors who have already worked on fixed point theory in b-metric spaces. We state some examples and one sample of the application of the obtained results in integral equations, which support our results.

We present the concept of α,k,θ,φ-contractive multivalued mappings in b-metric spaces and prove some fixed point results for these mappings in this study. Our results expand and refine some of the literature’s findings in fixed point theory.

The aim of this paper is to prove a common random fixed-point and some random fixed-point theorems for random weakly contractive operators in separable Banach spaces. A random Mann iterative process is introduced to approximate the fixed point. Finally, the main result is supported by an example and used to prove the existence and the uniqueness of a solution of a nonlinear stochastic integral equation system.

In this paper, we present new concepts on completeness of Hardy–Rogers type contraction mappings in metric space to prove the existence of fixed points. Furthermore, we introduce the concept of g-interpolative Hardy–Rogers type contractions in b-metric spaces to prove the existence of the coincidence point. Lastly, we add a third concept, interpolative weakly contractive mapping type, Ćirić–Reich–Rus, to show the existence of fixed points. These results are a generalization of previous results, which we have reinforced with examples.

In this paper, we establish some new variants of Leray–Schauder-type fixed point theorems for a 2×2 block operator matrix defined on nonempty, closed, and convex subsets Ω of Banach spaces. Note here that Ω need not be bounded. These results are formulated in terms of weak sequential continuity and the technique of De Blasi measure of weak noncompactness on countably subsets. We will also prove the existence of solutions for a coupled system of nonlinear equations with an example.

Abstract In this paper, we prove some common fixed point theorems for a finite family of multivalued and single-valued mappings operating on ordered Banach spaces. Our results extend and generalize many results in the literature on fixed point theory and lead to existence theorems for a system of integral inclusions.

Abstract In this paper, we obtain some generalizations of fixed point results for Kannan, Chatterjea and Hardy-Rogers contraction mappings in a new class of generalized metric spaces introduced recently by Jleli and Samet (Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2015:33, 2015).

In this paper, we discuss a class of mappings more general than ρ-nonexpansive mapping defined on a modular space endowed with a graph. In our investigation, we prove the existence of fixed point results of these mappings. Then, we also introduce an iterative scheme for which proves the convergence to a fixed point of such mapping in a modular space with a graph.

The aim of this paper is to introduce a notion of ϕ,F-contraction defined on a metric space with w-distance. Moreover, fixed-point theorems are given in this framework. As an application, we prove the existence and uniqueness of a solution for the nonlinear Fredholm integral equations. Some illustrative examples are provided to advocate the usability of our results.

In the last few decades, a lot of generalizations of the Banach contraction principle had been introduced. In this paper, we present the notion of θ-contraction and θ−ϕ-contraction in generalized asymmetric metric spaces to study the existence and uniqueness of the fixed point for them. We will also provide some illustrative examples. Our results improve many existing results.

In this paper, we obtain some fixed point results for noncyclic monotone ρ-nonexpansive mappings in uniformly convex modular spaces and uniformly convex in every direction modular spaces. As an application, we prove the existence of the solution of an integral equation.

In this paper, we present some fixed point results for generalized θ‐ϕ‐contraction in the framework of α,η−compete rectangular b‐metric spaces. Further, we establish some fixed point theorems for this type of mappings defined on such spaces. Our results generalize and improve many of the well-known results. Moreover, to support our main results, we give an illustrative example.

In this paper, we introduce and study some properties of a new class of generalized monotone nonexpansive mappings in hyperbolic metric spaces. Further, we give some results on the convergence of the Mann iterative process for this class of mappings in hyperbolic ordered metric spaces with some interesting examples.

In this paper, inspired by the concept of θ‐ϕ-contraction in metric spaces, introduced by Zheng et al., we present the notion of θ‐ϕ-contraction in b-rectangular metric spaces and study the existence and uniqueness of a fixed point for the mappings in this space.
