2. High Dose Ondansetron for Reducing Motion Sickness in Highly Susceptible Subjects.

Abstract

The study compares the effectiveness of placebo, dimenhydrinate and ondansetron in reducing motion sickness of highly susceptible subjects. Subjects with motion sickness history were divided and given placebo, dimenhydrinate and ondansentron before being rotated. Before and after the rotation, symptoms of motion sickness and electrogastrogram were recorded. Findings show that neither ondansetron or dimenhydrinate prevented motion sickness among the subjects with motion sickness history.
