- Abstract
The efficiency and saving of energy in the industry is extremely important. In this study, energy efficiency examination was carried out in a food factory operating especially in the industry. The wafer production line belonging to the designated food company was examined and detailed energy measurements were made and the energy efficiency potential was investigated. Various recommendations have been made to ensure energy efficiency and continuous energy efficiency by examining the current energy situation of the factory. In accordance with the recommendations made, it was determined that 89% heat loss can be reduced with the application of 0.25 years payback.period as a result of the application of the correct insulation system. In addition, it has been determined that boiler yield surged by 5.2% with burner adjustment in boiler systems, and $3391.9 annual earnings will be achieved through the prevention of a recuperator use, heat loss and leaks. The environmental impact of the enterprise over the last three years has been examined by calculating CO2 emissions caused by energy consumption.
