The present work presents as a research problem the importance of efficiency, planning, and principles of good management aiming at capillarity and equity to generate greater access and quality of services. The objective of this article was to identify the expansion of the Family Health Strategy in Brazil between 2007 and 2020, and which variables may explain this evolution. This is a descriptive, ecological research, developed between 2007 and 2020 in Brazil; its variable of interest was the estimated population coverage of this strategy (%). An increase in the coverage of the Family Health Strategy was observed in all regions of Brazil between 2007 and 2020, especially in the Northeast region. At the state level, this coverage showed a significant positive relationship with the following variables: towns with fewer than 40,000 inhabitants and monthly income inferior to half a minimum salary. The Brazilian version of the Family Health Strategy seeks inspiration from the best and most successful health models to achieve high performance and efficiency to provide equity and access to health services. Analyze the role of the physiotherapist and its importance in primary health care as an integral part of the family health strategy through scientific evidence regarding this. To meet the objective, an integrative review of the scientific literature was carried out. This research method enables critical evaluation and synthesis of available evidence on the topic under study, resulting in an updated study of the topic investigated and its interventions implemented effectively in health care. 135 articles were found in the databases, 37 in PubMed, 96 in VHL and 02 in SciELO. Thus, the selection was finalized with 05 articles to be read in full. It was concluded that the insertion of this professional in primary care facilitates the provision of rehabilitation care in the community, preventing the worsening of chronic conditions and meeting the population and their health needs in non-hospital environments. PRIMARY health care , *FAMILY health , *CULTURAL competence , *CONTINUING education , *COMMUNITIES - Abstract
Primary Health Care (APS) refers to a set of practices that aims to meet the health needs of the individual and the community. At this level of care, certain attributes must be developed to ensure the quality of services: First Contact, Longitudinality, Integrality, Coordination, Family Focus, Community Orientation, and Cultural Competence. The objective of this study was to identify, evaluate, and compare the attributes of Primary Health Care considering two organizational models. We did an exploratory, cross-descriptive research, applying the Primary Care Assessment Tool Brazil Instrument, professional version, to 70 doctors and 33 nurses working in primary care in a city in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. Descriptive and inferential statistics were used. Traditional primary care showed average scores above 6.6 in the attributes of coordination, longitudinality, comprehensiveness − services provided and family guidance. The attributes that received a low score were comprehensiveness − available services, community guidance, and first contact access, the latter being the only attribute with an average score below 6.6 in the Family Health Strategy. A difference was identified between the models, with better results in the Family Health Strategy compared to traditional primary care, in the essential, derived and general scores. It was concluded that the Family Health Strategy presented better results in the evaluated attributes, representing greater quality. Therefore, the expansion of coverage by this model is presented as a strategy to strengthen this level of assistance. The applicability of the study arises from the strategic sharing of results for professionals and managers, aiming at the joint construction of coping guidelines: awareness of the priority agenda for APS, insertion of the Reflection of the Practice as a Permanent Education tool for the teams, strengthening of the Regional Health (DRS) partnership with the university. CLINICAL competence , *PRIMARY health care , *LIFE cycles (Biology) , *HEALTH care networks , *DIAGNOSIS , *CLINICAL supervision - Abstract
Primary Health Care has a fundamental role in the restructuring of the Unified Health System, with public policies aimed at strengthening it, especially with regard to Health Care Networks (RAS), which must be resolutive and having the Strategy Family Health as its main consolidation model. In this context, nursing emerges with essential functions for the care of users and their needs. The research aimed to describe the ways nurses work in PHC, through an integrative review, where it was identified that this professional works through systematized consultations in different life cycles, health promotion actions, disease prevention, support in early diagnosis from diseases, directly observed treatment, to tuberculosis, monitoring and supervision of therapeutic adherence and assistance with the use of clinical nursing protocols. Therefore, in addition to clinical competence, his work involves several types of interpersonal skills. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

Objective: to analyze breastfeeding promotion strategies and factors related to early weaning among mothers who use a Family Health Strategy in a city in the north of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Method: this is a descriptive, qualitative study carried out with 16 mothers. Data were collected between August and September 2020 through interviews analyzed using Content Analysis. Results: the knowledge of mothers is focused on the benefits for the health and development of the child to the detriment of others. Mothers have difficulties to practice breastfeeding due to breast changes and reported early weaning due to low milk production, difficulty in the baby latching on and introduction of bottles. Conclusions: mothers are aware of the benefits of breastfeeding, obtained mainly from guidance received in multidisciplinary care, but this was not enough to prevent early weaning. Thus, other strategies should be considered, not only for the purpose of clarifying possible doubts, but also favoring feedback from the mother (demands about breastfeeding and other health needs that may interfere in this period), as well as strengthening the supervision of professionals. Objective: To describe, based on a report of managerial experience, the impacts caused in the daily life of a basic health unit, resulting from the practical transition of different programs of Electronic Patient Record (PEP). Methods: Descriptive study with a qualitative approach, such as an experience report, from the managerial experience in a basic health unit located in the city of Rio de Janeiro, from March 2018 to February of 2020. Results: The experience points to important challenges resulting from the transition process between the different existing programs, among them the continuous qualification professional, the limitations of technological and the impact caused in the information from the transitions, resulting in frequent re-registration moments. Conclusion: This study points to the need to consolidate a single PEP, in view of the disorders reported as a result of constant PEP transitions, and, mainly, to invest in the improvement of this tool based on the difficulties that emerge from the daily practice. - Abstract
Objective: Verifying satisfaction and fatigue due to compassion and its associated factors in nurses of the Basic Health Unit. Method: A descriptive and cross-sectional research developed with 101 nurses from 40 Basic Health Units in a municipality of Parana. Data were collected between November 2019 and February 2020 through a questionnaire of sociodemographic characterization, occupational and life habits and the Professional Quality of Life Scale that assesses Satisfaction and Fatigue by Compassion. The associated factors were obtained by logistic regression models. Results: Having a good interpersonal relationship decreased the chances of low satisfaction by compassion (p=0.025) and burnout (p=0.049). Being recognized at work had a significantly lower probability of low compassion satisfaction (p=0.040). Conclusion: Good interpersonal relationships were associated with compassion satisfaction and burnout. Feeling recognized for the work done was also associated with satisfaction for compassion. Most nurses, even with high levels of satisfaction due to compassion, feel tired, which leads to reinforce the need for greater attention to the work developed by nurses in the Basic Health Unit by managers.
