Eumerus sulcitibius Rondani, 1868 ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION: 1868a: 24. TYPE LOCALITY: “ in collibus ditionis parmensis [Parmese hills (Italy)]”. TYPE MATERIAL: 1 ♂, 1 ♀, syntypes (right hind-leg glued on a triangular label pinned below specimen) (MZUF: Box 4): Eumerus Mgn / sulcitibius Rnd. / 134. CURRENT STATUS: valid species (Peck 1988: 163, Belcari et al. 1995a: 16, Steenis et al. 2017: 158). REMARKS: Rondani (1868a: 24) described both sexes of Eumerus sulcitibius without specifying either the number or the length of the specimens: “ uterque sexus lectus [collected both sexes]”. We found two syntypes in this study. An additional two specimens numbered “134” from “Madon., Sici.
