Abstract

The deformation behavior, microstructure evolution and precipitation phase of 617B alloy were studied by Gleeble thermal simulator, SEM and creep rupture test method. The results show that, 617B alloy has a high deformation resistance and the temperature range of processing secure channel is between 1165-1200℃; alloy instability exists in two forms:one is the formation of adiabatic shear band; another is the abnormal growth of full dynamic recrystallization grain; with extension of the stress rupture time, the microhardness increases rapidly and then tends to be steady, γ' is the main precipitate and the precipitate phase grows up with the time extension, but no harmful phases, and with higher stress rupture strength performance.

Using persistent experiment method, combined with Gleeble,hardness analysis, SEM, EDS, TEM and other analytical methods, the hot deformation, stress rupture and precipitation behavior of TP310HCbN heat resistance steel was analysed at 650℃ and 700℃, the results show that:the change of the hardness is not obviously under two different stress rupture temperature; with stress rupture time prolongs, TP310HCbN heat-resistant steel intragranular precipitates from granular into rod-shaped, and presence of wormlike NbCrN rich precipitates and dislocation interactions; Taiyuan Iron and Steel production of TP310HCbN heat-resistant steel at 650/700℃-100000h extrapolation lasting strength meet the standard requirements.

Abstract

Graphic abstract Paeonol, derived from natural plants (Moutan Cortex), has a wide range of biological effects, including anti-inflammatory and antitumor effects as well as favorable effects against cardiovascular and neurodegenerative diseases. The anti-inflammatory action is the main pharmacological activity of paeonol and has the greatest clinical relevance. However, the anti-inflammatory mechanism of paeonol has not been reported in sufficient detail. We systematically analyzed the anti-inflammatory mechanism of paeonol using network pharmacological databases and platforms, including TCMSP, Swiss TargetPrediction, OMIM, DrugBank, TTD, Jevnn, STRING11.0, and Metascape. Furthermore, we used high-throughput molecular docking method to prove the results of the above analyses, providing a reference for exploring the mechanism of paeonol and developing targeted drugs.

8. Simultaneous bilateral laparoscopic cortical-sparing adrenalectomy for bilateral pheochromocytomas in multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2

Purpose: To assess the feasibility of simultaneous bilateral laparoscopic or open cortical-sparing adrenalectomy (LCSA or OCSA) for bilateral pheochromocytomas (bPHEO) in multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2 (MEN2).Methods: A total of 31 patients (54.8% women) were diagnosed with MEN2 related bPHEO, in who 29 underwent varying specific adrenal surgery. We systematically analyzed and evaluated their clinical profiles, mutation types, tumor histopathologic features, and follow-up records. Results: All 31 patients with bPHEO associated with RET-C634 mutations, as MEN2A (90.3%) and RET-M918T, as MEN2B (9.7%), respectively, were at a median age at initial presentation of 38 years (range, 23–78). Of these, 27 (87.1%) presented with synchronous and other 4 (12.9%) with metachronous. Among 29 underwent initial CSA, and in 23 (79.3%), of whom 18 had SB-LCSA and 5 had SB-OCSA duration of the same anesthesia (synchronous surgery); whereas metachronous CSA was in 6 (20.7%). There were less bleeding volume, and shorter hospitalizations between in SB-LCSA compared with those in SB-OCSA, as well as synchronous surgery versus metachronous (hybrid) surgery (all P < 0.05). An initial bilateral postoperative corticosteroid replacement was necessary in 14 patients (45.2%). During a median follow-up period of 7 years (range, 1.8–23), 3 of these patients (10.3%) showed a persistent/recurrent disease and needed reoperation. Whereas the remaining 2 patients respectively presenting MEN2A died of MTC metastasis or MEN2B declined surgery in who chose waiting watchful.Conclusions: SB-LCSA for treatment of these synchronous bPHEO is safe and feasible, should be recommended as a prioritized surgical approach of choice.

9. Feasibility analysis and mechanism exploration of Rhei Radix et Rhizome−Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus (RS) against COVID-19

Abstract

Introduction. As a novel global epidemic, corona virus disease 2019 (COVID-19) caused by SARS-CoV-2 brought great suffering and disaster to mankind. Recently, although significant progress has been made in vaccines against SARS-CoV-2, there are still no drugs for treating COVID-19. It is well known that traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has achieved excellent efficacy in the treatment of COVID-19 in China. As a treasure-house of natural drugs, Chinese herbs offer a promising prospect for discovering anti-COVID-19 drugs. Hypothesis/Gap Statement. We proposed that Rhei Radix et Rhizome−Schisandrae Sphenantherae Fructus (RS) may have potential value in the treatment of COVID-19 patients by regulating immune response, protecting the cardiovascular system, inhibiting the production of inflammatory factors, and blocking virus invasion and replication processes. Aim. We aimed to explore the feasibility and molecular mechanisms of RS against COVID-19, to provide a reference for basic research and clinical applications. Methodology. Through literature mining, it is found that a Chinese herbal pair, RS, has potential anti-COVID-19 activity. In this study, we analysed the feasibility of RS against COVID-19 by high-throughput molecular docking and molecular dynamics simulations. Furthermore, we predicted the molecular mechanisms of RS against COVID-19 based on network pharmacology. Results. We proved the feasibility of RS anti-COVID-19 by literature mining, virtual docking and molecular dynamics simulations, and found that angiotensin converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) and 3C-like protease (3 CL pro) were also two critical targets for RS against COVID-19. In addition, we predicted the molecular mechanisms of RS in the treatment of COVID-19, and identified 29 main ingredients, 21 potential targets and 16 signalling pathways. Rhein, eupatin, (-)-catechin, aloe-emodin may be important active ingredients in RS. ALB, ESR1, EGFR, HMOX1, CTSL, and RHOA may be important targets against COVID-19. Platelet activation, renin secretion, ras signalling pathway, chemokine signalling pathway, and human cytomegalovirus infection may be important signalling pathways against COVID-19. Conclusion. RS plays a key role in the treatment of COVID-19, which may be closely related to immune regulation, cardiovascular protection, anti-inflammation, virus invasion and replication processes.

Abstract

Previous studies have found that oxidative stress is the negative reaction of the imbalance between oxidation and antioxidation caused by free radicals, and it is the fuse of aging and many diseases. Scavenging the accumulation of free radicals in the body and inhibiting the production of free radicals are effective ways to reduce the occurrence of oxidative stress. In recent years, studies have found that oxidative stress has other effects on the body, such as anti-tumour. In this paper, the targets related to anti-oxidative stress were introduced, and they were divided into nuclear transcription factors, enzymes, solute carrier family 7, member 11 (SLC7A11) genes and iron death, ion channels, molecular chaperones, small molecules according to their different functions. In addition, we introduce the research status of agonists/inhibitors related to these targets, so as to provide some reference for the follow-up research and clinical application of anti-oxidative stress drugs.

23. Advance in memristor-based computing storage fusion architecture.

Abstract

Memristor is an enabling device with non-volatile resistance, low power consumption, high durability, ease of integration, and CMOS compatibility. The stateful logic of memristors can realize the true fusion of computing and storage, and is complete in logic, which is expected to break the limitation of Von Neumann architecture and effectively alleviate the memory wall bottleneck. These excellent properties gain memristors great interest from academia and industry. In light of this, this paper summarizes the research progress of application-oriented computing storage fusion architecture based on stateful logic. Firstly, the implementation principle and improvement method of state logic are analyzed in detail. Secondly, the state logic design based on the memristor crossbar is reviewed, including the parallel implementation of the basic logics, copy operation and comparison operation, and then the design principle and implementation structure of the data storage structure based on the memristors are summarized. The paper then revisits an application-oriented computing storage fusion architecture in detail, and finally summarizes the problems in the research of this direction, and looks forward to the future direction. 25. The RETC611Y mutation causes MEN 2A and associated cutaneous lichen amyloidosis

Abstract

Cutaneous lichen amyloidosis (CLA) has been reported in some multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2A (MEN 2A) families affected by specific germline RETmutations C634F/G/R/W/Y or V804M, as a characteristic of the clinical manifestation in ‘MEN 2A with CLA’, one of four variants of MEN 2A, which was strictly located in the scapular region of the upper back.This study reports a large south-eastern Chinese pedigree with 17 individuals carrying the MEN 2A-harboring germline C611Y (c.1832G>A) RETmutation by Sanger sequencing. One individual presented MEN 2A-related clinical features, including typical CLA in the interscapular region; another individual exhibited neurological pruritus and scratching in the upper back but lacked CLA skin lesions. Both subjects presented with CLA or pruritic symptoms several years before the onset of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) and/or pheochromocytoma. The remaining 15 RETmutation carriers did not exhibit CLA; of these, one presented with MTC and pheochromocytoma, nine with MTC only, two with elevated serum calcitonin and three younger subjects with normal serum calcitonin levels. This family’s clinical data revealed a later diagnosis of MTC (mean age, 45.9 (range: 23–73) years), a lower penetrance of pheochromocytoma (2/17, 11.8%) and CLA (1/17, 5.9%). However, no hyperparathyroidism and Hirschsprung disease were reported in this family.This is the first description of a family with MEN 2A-related CLA due to a germlineRETC611Y mutation, which might exhibit a novel and diversified genotype–phenotype spectrum in MEN 2A.

Abstract

The flat-membrane silicon on insulator (SOI) high-temperature piezoresistive pressure sensitive silicon chip has been developed using MEMS (micro electro-mechanical system) technology. It was packaged on the borosilicate glass ring by electrostatic bonding process, thus the inverted-cup elastic-sensitive unit was produced. The influence of the alignment error between the silicon chip and glass ring on the nonlinearity of the pressure sensitive silicon chip was analyzed. The experiments were performed to verify the effect of the electrostatic bonding process on the temperature properties of the pressure sensitive silicon chip, and obtained the characteristics of the fabricated high-temperature pressure sensor. According to the theoretical and experimental results, the alignment error has a great impact on the nonlinearity of the silicon chip, while the electrostatic bonding process has less effect on the zero drifts and thermal zero drifts of the silicon chip. The fabricated high-temperature pressure sensor has fine performances to meet the requirements of engineering applications. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]

34. The First Change of Hsiao-Tung Fei's Academic Theory: From Functionalism to Structural Functionalism.

Abstract

Academic circles usually narrate functionalism without strictly classifying its internal structure, and they are ambiguous on the origin and change of Hsiao-tung Fei's functionalism. Meanwhile, it is generally accepted that Fei Xiao tong became a functionalism after he acknowledged Malinowski as his master and followed him all along. The paper classifies the different development stages of Hsiao-tung Fei's functionalism: the rudimentary stage of Hsiao-tung Fei's functionalism before he studied in Britain; influenced by Malinowski's functionalism greatly during his staying in Britain; he became a structural functionalism of Brown from functionalism of Malinowski after he returned home from abroad. The paper lays special emphasis on analyzing the last stage and concludes five causes bringing about the change which makes him accomplish The Institutions for Reproduction.
